Abstract

The background of the study is the phenomenon that occurs in students at SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi, there are still some students who tend to underestimate their talents and abilities, so that this lack of self-confidence can be seen from their reluctance to try new things and being less active in class discussions. There are still students who show a sense of helplessness when facing learning difficulties or personal problems. They often feel hopeless and lack initiative to find solutions, which has an impact on low academic achievement. Some students easily follow the negative behavior of friends, such as skipping school or using bad language, without considering the consequences. There are still students who tend to avoid situations that cause anxiety, such as speaking in front of the class or taking exams, which hinders their active participation in learning. This type of research is Pre-Experimental Design using the One Group Pretest-Posttest model. The population in this study was class VIII.3. The sample of this study was 10 people who were taken using the purposive sampling technique, which means the technique of determining the sample using certain considerations. Data was collected using the esteem cell scale. The data analysis technique used was the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the description of students' self-esteem before being given group guidance services is in the low category with a mean of 18.00. (2) the description of students' self-esteem after being given group guidance services is in the medium category with an increasing score with a mean of 23.50. (3) group guidance services are effective in increasing students' self-esteem, this statement is supported by the results of the asymp sig (2-tailed) obtained a value of 0.005 which means it is smaller than the α value of 0.05. So it can be said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that group guidance is effective in improving interpersonal communication of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui seberapa pentingnya perhatian dari seorang pembina kepada anak yang di asuh, terkhusus di Panti Asuhan Muhammadiyah Cabang Guguk II. Sebagaimana kita ketahui panti asuhan adalah tempat bagi anak-anak yang kurang mendapatkan kebahagiaan, perhatian dalam keluarga. Di panti asuhan inilah semua harapan mereka gantungkan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita yang di dalam rumah tidak mereka dapatkan. Tentunya di panti asuhan anak-anak ini diatur oleh seorang pimpinan yang mana biasa dikenal dengan sebutan pembina panti asuhan, yang akan mengatur, memberi perhatian, menyemangati anak-anak supaya menjadi anak-anak yang mandiri, berbakat, berprestasi dan memiliki kemampuan di bidang khusus untuk kelangsungan hidup mereka di masa yang akan datang. Pembina panti adalah ibu bagi mereka yang membutuhkan limpahan kasih sayang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what efforts were made by Guidance and Counseling teachers in overcoming bullying actions or behaviors that occurred in the Fifty City MAN environment. The background of this research is the increasingly widespread behavior and perpetrators of bullying among students at school. If there is bullying at school, then the school is not a safe and comfortable place for students. Schools that are supposed to be safe places to learn will be made uncomfortable, even frightening environments. Bullying behavior that occurs in this school certainly gets more attention, especially the Guidance and Counseling teachers. With the Guidance and Counseling teacher, of course, this bullying behavior can be overcome so that it does not continue and continues to develop in the school environment, so that the school environment becomes a place that is liked by students.

Abstract

The teaching style of educators plays a crucial role in inspiring students' motivation to learn. In the current educational context, employing the appropriate approach in the teaching process significantly impacts students' engagement levels and interest in the subject matter. This article discusses the importance of teachers' teaching styles in motivating students to learn effectively. Diverse approaches in teaching provide space for better learning differentiation, enabling teachers to understand each student's individual learning preferences. By utilizing innovative methods such as integrating technology in teaching, collaborative approaches, or implementing curricula relevant to daily life, teachers can create a learning environment that sparks students' interest. Moreover, motivating teaching styles focus on strengthening the relationship between teachers and students. When teachers demonstrate dedication, attention, and support for students' learning processes, it not only enhances students' self-confidence but also builds a positive relationship between teachers and students. This article highlights the importance of teachers' role as learning facilitators who inspire, encourage, and support students' holistic development. In pursuit of academic goals, it is crucial not only to deliver information but also to understand how students react to learning and how to motivate them to delve deeper into the subject matter. In conclusion, this article emphasizes that teachers' teaching styles are not merely techniques but rather skills that require sensitivity to individual students' needs. When teachers can adjust their teaching styles to match students' characteristics and requirements, they can lay a strong foundation for enhancing students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

Abstract: Behavioristic theory is important to study in the learning process, because this theory is easy to apply in educational learning in Indonesia. Learning theory is a combination of interconnected principles and explanations of a number of facts and discoveries related to learning events. This research reviews behavioristic theory and its application in learning. The aim of this research is that it can be applied in PAI learning, apart from educating cognitively, psychomotorically, it can also guide students' behavior in a better direction. The method used by the author is descriptive qualitative which attempts to explain the application of behavioristic theory so that it is able to produce changes in behavior towards students. Through this research, the author tries to reveal the application of behavioristic theory in PAI learning at SDIT Cahaya Hati Bukittinggi as well as changes in behavior that occur in students using a behavioristic theory approach. Based on the research results, it was found that the application of behavioristic learning theory to PAI learning was carried out in several stages, namely, stimulus (encouragement for the delivery of material/motivation from the teacher), response (response from students), while reinforcement/reinforcement was carried out by the teacher using the reward method, punishment, and reinforcement.

Abstract

Classical Guidance has an important role in the development of children in partner orphanages. In this environment, Classical Guidance not only provides formal education, but also offers the emotional, social and psychological support necessary for the holistic growth of the children living there. This article explains the importance of Classical Guidance as an important foundation in shaping the potential of children in partner orphanages. The main focus is on the role of teachers or counselors in providing in-depth and Comprehensive Guidance for childrens personal development, and how this affects their lives in the future.

Abstract

Group coaching is an important approach in helping individuals overcome various challenges and develop their potential. This article discusses the importance of group tutoring in the context of personal, social, and academic development. By focusing on key aspects such as social support, personal growth, and improving interpersonal skills, group coaching can provide significant benefits to its participants. Group tutoring allows individuals to share experiences, create supportive relationships, and learn from each other. This helps reduce feelings of isolation and improves participants' emotional well-being. In addition, group tutoring also provides a platform for self-exploration, where participants can explore their values, beliefs and life goals. In an academic context, group tutoring can increase learning motivation and facilitate cooperative learning. Group discussions and exchange of ideas can enrich participants' understanding of the subject matter. In addition, group tutoring can help in overcoming learning difficulties and improving study skills.

Abstract

The family is the smallest social unit in society that plays an important role in individual development. Harmonius relationships within the family are the main foundation for creating individuals who are physically, emotionally, and psychologically healthy. Family Psychodynamics is an approach to family counseling that is rooted in psychoanalytic theory. This approach focuses on unconscious emotional patterns in relationships between family members, as well as the influence of childhood experiences on current family dynamics. Behavioral Social Family Counseling is an approach to family counseling that combines psychodynamic principles with social behavioral theory. This approach focuses on how social interactions and behaviors observed within the family affect the dynamics of relationships between family members.The Structural Family Approach is a counseling model that emphasizes family structure, including roles, hierarchies, and patterns of relationships between family members. This approach was developed by Salvador Minuchin, who believed that families have a structure that influences interactions between family members.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana gambaran konsep diri siswa kelas X di SMA N 3 Payakumbuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menggkapkan data dengan penulisan yang mengambarkan keadaan yang sebenarnya tentang objek yang diteliti, menurut keadaan yang sebenarnya pada saat penelitian langsung. Teknik yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah peneliti menemukan dari 40 orang yang melaksakan wawancara dengan menggunakan teknik johari windows 30 ditantanya memiliki konsep diri negatif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh siswa tersebut belum bisa menerima keadan dirinya dengan baik dan juga mereka belum mengetahui apa kelebihan dan kekurangan yang ada didalam dirinya. Hal tersebut membuat mereka merasa minder dan tidak bisa menerima kedaan dirinya dan terciplah konsep diri negatif pada diri mereka.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pentingnya penerimaan diri bagi remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan. Penerimaan diri adalah sikap positif seseorang terhadap karakteristik dirinya sendiri, merasa puas dengan kelebihannya dan mengakui keterbatasannya dalam menjalani kehidupan. Remaja panti asuhan adalah remaja yang tingal disebuah panti asuhan yang sudah tidak memiliki ibu,ayah,ayah dan ibu serta remaja yang ekonominya kurang memadai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yang mengumpulkan data dengan wawancara,observasi dan studi kepustakaan/ dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan bersama remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan beserta pengurus dan pengasuh panti asuhan.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan diri sangat penting bagi remaja yang tinggal di panti asuhan.
