Abstract

Tingkat kedisiplinan di kalangan siswa secara signifikan mempengaruhi keberhasilan akademis, tetapi masih ada masalah dengan perilaku tidak tertib dan kurangnya pendidikan karakter disiplin yang menyebabkan krisis moral. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh kultur sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas VI SD di Kecamatan Tlogowungu. Penelitian ini mengambil lokasi di SDN Tamansari 02, SDN Purwosari 02, SDN Regaloh 02, SDN Sambirejo 02, SDN Wonorejo 02, SDN Tlogowungu 01, dan SDIT Al-Ikhlas dengan sampel sebanyak 145. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif survey. Peneliti menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana dengan koefisien regresi (b) sebesar 0,099, dan uji-t untuk melihat pengaruh antara kultur sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas VI SD di Kecamatan Tlogowungu. Hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001<0,05 yang mana kultur sekolah berpengaruh terhadap karakter disiplin. Berdasarkan penelitian mengenai peran kultur sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas VI SD di Kecamatan Tlogowungu, dapat ditarik kesimpulan terdapat peran antara kultur sekolah terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin pada siswa kelas VI SD di Kecamatan Tlogowungu.

Abstract

Teachers must master the material and learning strategies to attract students' interest in learning, especially in mathematics lessons. Mathematics learning requires media as a channel of information to students so they do not have difficulty understanding the material. This research aims to determine the increase in students' problem-solving abilities using the developed learning media. An example of the latest learning media is an Android application. This research is an R&D (Research and Development) research and development method with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research was conducted with 18 students as subjects. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and tests. The research results show that the results of the hypothesis test that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.005, meaning that there is a difference in the increase in students' problem-solving abilities after using the media and there is an increase in problem-solving abilities of 0.4387 with the criteria moderate increase. The results, it was concluded that the SILAW (Length of Time Application) learning media can improve problem-solving abilities with the material of calculating the length of time an event.

Abstract

Background: Permainan edukatif dapat digunakan sebagai penunjang jalannya proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan berdampak bagi siswa. Pendampingan pembuatan game atau aplikasi MAT JOYO dapat memberikan ilmu baru bagi guru dalam mengembangkan dunia pendidikan, dan tentunya hasil akhirnya siswa dapat belajar dengan menyenangkan. Metode: Metode realisasi pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan game atau aplikasi MAT JOYO (Mathemarics Joyful Education) yang diikuti oleh guru SDN 1 Gemiring Kidul, dan siswa kelas 5 SD. Materi pendampingan dan pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi: 1) Pembuatan materi pemahaman konsep volume balok yang menarik, 2) Pengenalan aplikasi untuk membuat game MAT JOYO, 3) Pembuatan game MAT JOYO dengan memasukkan materi volume balok yang telah dibuat, 4) Pengujian game MAT JOYO kepada siswa kelas 5. Hasil: Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengajar menggunakan permainan edukasi, sehingga dapat menarik minat belajar siswa serta tercipta pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pendampingan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi dan keahlian guru dalam pembuatan game edukasi (aplikasi MAT JOYO) sebagai media dalam pembelajaran pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasarkan pada kurangnya pengetahuan budaya lokal pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media monopoli budaya lokal (MOBUKAL) Kota Kudus terhadap pemahaman konsep budaya lokal bagi peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 1 Kedungdowo. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Pre Experimental Design bentuk one group pretest-posttest ini akan dilakukan di kelas IV SDN 1 Kedungdowo dengan subjek penelitian 29 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi teknik observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data statistik deskriptif yang berupa uji normalitas data dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan terhadap pemahaman konsep budaya pada peserta didik. Hasil  uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05. Maka, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media monopoli budaya lokal (MOBUKAL) kota kudus dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep budaya bagi peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Kedungdowo.

Abstract

Mathematics is a core subject in elementary school which is considered difficult for most children. This research is motivated by low mathematics learning outcomes due to the monotonous and conventional learning process. The TGT model is a cooperative learning model so that students are more active. GAULL Media (Wordwall Educational Game) is an interesting technology-based media. So this research aims to determine the effect of implementing the TGT model with the help of GAULL media (Wordwall Educational Game) on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students. This research is a pre-experimental quantitative research with a one group pretest posttest design conducted on class IV students at SD 3 Karangbener. The independent variable in this research is the TGT model with GAULL media (Wordwall Educational Game) while the dependent variable is mathematics learning outcomes. The population of this study was all students in class IV of SD 3 Karangbener who also served as a sample of 15 students. The data collection technique in this research uses a test technique in the form of essay questions. Data analysis used the paired sample t test. The results of the paired sample t-test show that the Stg (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that the application of the TGT model assisted by GAULL media (Wordwall Educational Game) influences the mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students.

Abstract

Mendidik siswa pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar memerlukan keterampilan khusus, terutama mengenai cara menarik perhatian siswa. Sehingga pendidik harus mampu menciptakan berbagai hal baru yang mengikuti pola pikir peserta didiknya, mulai dari pembawaan, cara, trik, dan media yang menarik serta bervariatif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang efektif. Tujuan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dalam memanfaatkan barang bekas dan cat air sebagai upaya meningkatkan kreativitas anak di bidang verbal dan matematis. Metode yang digunakan dengan menggunakan jenis pendekatan participant active learning. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, pada tahapan perencanan, tim menjelaskan alat dan bahan serta cara pembuatan media dari cat air dan barang bekas yang akan dibuat bersama mitra. Tahapan pelaksanaan, mitra dan tim membuat alat peraga edukatif berupa tirai abjad dan angka menggunakan barang bekas. Tahapan follow up Guru mampu praktik membuat dan menggunakan media cat air dan barang bekas. Tahapan evaluasi, mitra dan tim mencatat kendala, kekurangan, dan kelemahan yang muncul dalam proses pelatihan. Tindak lanjut dari kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan pemetaan materi yang terstrukstur dan pengembangan media ajar berbahan barang bekas yang ekonomis untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pada guru secara luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kesulitan menulis pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas rendah SDN 2 Sengonbugel yaitu kelas II. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan menulis siswa tingkat rendah dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif, dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada SDN 2 Sengonbugel kelas II terdapat 27 siswa dan 3 siswa yang mengalami kesulitan menulis bahasa Indonesia pada kelas rendah. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kesulitan menulis bahasa Indonesia SDN 2 Sengonbugel berada pada tingkat bawah : siswa inisial RD huruf "a" diganti huruf "d" ada tulisan "membaca" menjadi "mambdcd". Siswa inisial GM menulis huruf "u" seperti huruf “v” semisal menulis menulis menjadi menvulis dan siswa AI menulis penempatan huruf kapital "C" di tulis ditengah kata seperti mencari. Siswa masih mempunyai tulisan yang kurang bagus sehingga tidak dapat terbaca, menulis dengan waktu yang lama sehingga tertinggal, menulis huruf atau angka masih ada yang miring dan tidak jelas, bahkan masih ada yang memiliki kesalahan dalam menggenggam pensilnya.

Abstract

This study aims to elucidate elementary school students' responsibility and discipline characteristics. This research was carried out since problems existed regarding the lack of a sense of student responsibility and discipline, which included students not completing and submitting assignments promptly, students lacking in maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment, and a lack of students paying attention to the teacher during the learning process. This descriptive qualitative research used the case study method. Data collection methods employed in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques encompassed data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Then, the subjects consisted of four students and one teacher in sixth grade. The results of this study highlighted that the roles of a sixth-grade teacher at the state elementary school of 2 Hadipolo in instilling the character of responsibility and discipline in sixth-grade elementary school students were by providing 1) routine activities at school to familiarize students, 2) exemplary and obedience to the regulation, which teachers could instill character by exemplifying good behavior based on regulation, and 3) for spontaneous reminding, teachers could instill character through spontaneous activities by reprimanding students violating the applicable rules at school. Further, school assignments and activities given to students could foster responsibility and discipline characters.

Abstract

Problem-solving skills are the most basic thing that students must have as they can train students to deal with various existing problems in learning. The background to this research is the students’ low problem-solving skills in the learning process in the classroom. This research, thus, aims to improve problem-solving skills in mathematics subjects through the Problem-Based Learning model with the help of Local Wisdom Mathematical Snakes and Ladders media. This classroom action research was conducted at Birrul Walidain Muhammadiyah Elementary School, with 28 students as research subjects. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data were obtained through tests, observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The research results demonstrated that problem-solving skills could increase with each cycle. This could be observed from the research results, proving that students' problem-solving skills achieved success of 32.14% in the pre-cycle, reached 71.42% in cycle I, and increased to 85.71% in cycle II. Based on their effectiveness, the Problem-Based Learning model and the Local Wisdom Mathematical Snakes and Ladders learning media implemented can be employed as a recommendation for class teachers in carrying out learning since they can help students be more active and improve their ability to think critically and solve real problems.
