Abstract

The type of research that the author uses is a type of qualitative research using a content analysis approach (Content Analysis), or what can be called a content study. This analysis is a research technique for making a conclusion or inference that can be replicated and the correctness of the data by considering the context. The object of this research is explored through various information in the form of books, interpretations, and journals. This journal discusses how children use technology in their early years, both at home and school. because in this increasingly sophisticated era, children cannot be separated from technology. The existence of technology is undeniable, and children cannot be prevented from using it. However, rights to property and assistance may be the best option for children. Teachers and parents alike are expected to learn a lot from the findings of this research regarding the process of using technology and its applications.

Abstract

Background: Role modeling (uswah hasanah) is a foundational element in Islamic education, rooted in the prophetic tradition. Specific Background: Abdul Fattah Abu Ghuddah, a prominent Islamic scholar, extensively emphasized the significance of role models in the tarbiyah process. Knowledge Gap: However, scholarly analysis of his contributions to the conceptual framework of role modeling in education remains limited. Aim: This study aims to examine Abu Ghuddah’s thoughts on role modeling and its relevance to contemporary Islamic educational practices. Results: Through qualitative library research and content analysis of his primary works, the study reveals that Abu Ghuddah viewed exemplary behavior not merely as a pedagogical method but as the essence of Islamic education, exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. He proposed practical steps for integrating role models into education, such as adherence to Qur’anic and prophetic directives, alignment with sharia, and consistency between speech and action. Novelty: The study offers a structured interpretation of Abu Ghuddah’s model of role modeling, positioning it as a moral-epistemological foundation for modern Islamic pedagogy. Implications: These findings suggest the need for educational institutions to embed role model values into curricula and school culture to reinforce ethical and spiritual development alongside academic instruction. Highlights: Highlights role modeling as the core of Islamic educational practice. Emphasizes consistency between words and actions in educators. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation, student responses, interest, improvement in learning outcomes, and challenges in utilizing the game-based Wordwall technology to enhance student interest and achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SDN Lubuk Pakam. The research employs a qualitative method with a field research approach. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The findings show that the use of Wordwall media in Grade IV PAI learning at SDN Lubuk Pakam is effective in increasing students' interest, engagement, and learning outcomes. Students responded positively to this media, as it made learning more interactive and enjoyable. Although there were challenges such as unstable internet connectivity and low digital literacy, these obstacles can be addressed through proper training and infrastructure support. It is recommended that teachers continue to use interactive media like Wordwall to support PAI learning, The school should provide supporting facilities such as a stable internet connection and ICT training for both students and teachers to ensure the optimal and sustainable use of digital media.

Abstract

This study is about the implementation of religious moderation values in early childhood in Medan City. The study aims to determine the implementation policy of religious moderation, the process of internalizing the values of religious moderation and the achievement of internalization of religious moderation values in early childhood in Medan City. The methodology used in this study is qualitative by conducting interviews, observations and documentation and a combination with literature. The subjects of the study were RA and TK educational institutions selected purposively. The results of the study indicate that the implementation policy in educational institutions is based on internal and external policies. Internal is the implementation of religious moderation values carried out on the basis that it is God's command (religion) and on the basis that humans must indeed be moderate in their attitudes and ways of thinking. This implementation is termed theo-anthropocentric basis (divinity and humanity). As for externally, strengthening the implementation is carried out because there are indeed regulations or rules that require it. The process of internalizing religious moderation values carried out is by integrating learning through images, videos (animation and non-animation), and cultural and religious studies outside of school. The achievement is that early childhood is able to implement religious moderation with four indicators in the foundation phase. Theoretical-practical research recommendations; increasing insight into religious moderation in educational institutions is important to be done periodically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' ability to develop teaching modules using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Recitation models. This study uses a non-experimental correlational quantitative method, which aims to identify and describe data related to the research variables. A sampling technique was used with 40 respondents. Data were obtained and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, and ANOVA. The results of the study determined that the average ability of students in developing teaching modules was 60.35 with a standard deviation of 7.614. The normality test showed that the data were normally distributed with a Skewness value of 0.020 and Kurtosis of -0.775. The ANOVA test yielded a significance value of <0.001, indicating that the PjBL and Recitation variables significantly influence students' ability to develop instructional modules. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.439 indicates that the independent variables together explain 43.9% of the variation in the dependent variable, i.e., the ability to develop instructional modules, with the remaining 56.1% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Teaching modules are instructional tools containing lesson plans that guide the learning process to achieve specific Learning Outcomes. This research aims to evaluate the alignment of fiqh teaching modules with 21st-century skills. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, and data were obtained from Islamic Senior High School fiqh teaching modules. Data analysis involved qualitative techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings show that the fiqh teaching module integrates 21st-century skills, specifically character education, Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) , literacy, and 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration). Character education includes values like religiosity, independence, cooperation, nationalism, and integrity. HOTS is embedded through operational verbs such as analyze, evaluate, and compare in lesson planning and assessments. Literacy components encompass basic, media, technological, and visual literacies, while the 4C are demonstrated through discussions, presentations, and group activities.

Abstract

This study aims to know teachers’ creativity in increasing students’ engagement on Islamic cultural history learning in MTs PP Al-Washliyah Cape Haloban, and the supporting and hindering factors of teachers’ creativity as well as teachers’ learning strategies in increasing students’ engagement. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and inference drawing. The result of this study is to show that teachers’ creativity in increasing students’ activity is classified quite well. Because SKI teachers are able to design and prepare teaching materials, manage classes, peta use creative learning media is possible. The creativity of SKI teachers in enhancing students’ activity was influenced by several Supporting factors namely: (1) means and infrastructure of madrasah, (2) Availability of support from co-teachers and principals, (3) having adequate classrooms or study rooms. So that teachers are able to increase their creativity in improving students. Teachers’ strategies for increasing student activity are in the development of an engaging learning environment that includes creating a creative classroom design, mapping the classroom by changing students’ seating positions into groups, and inviting students to be active. With a good learning environment can affect student activity.

Abstract

This research aims to understand teachers’ perceptions of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based educational technology at MAS A1 Washlivah 12 Perbaungan. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this research consist of teachers who have used or been exposed to AI-based educational applications, such as adaptive learning platforms, chatbots, and student performance analysis systems. The research results show that the majority of teachers have a positive perception of the use of AI in education, especially regarding time efficiency, ease of access to information, and the enhancement of personalized learning. However, some challenges were also found, such as limited understanding of technology, lack of training, and concerns about the reduced role of teachers in the teaching and learning process. Overall, this research recommends the need for continuous training and technology assistance for teachers so that the use of AI in education can be more optimal.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan inklusif, siswa berkebutuhan khusus menerima pengajaran bersama teman-temannya di ruang kelas. Hildegun Olsen menegaskan bahwa pendidikan inklusif berarti sekolah harus menyambut setiap siswa, tanpa memandang kebutuhan fisik, intelektual, sosial, emosional, bahasa, atau kebutuhan khusus lainnya. Anak-anak penyandang disabilitas, anak-anak dari latar belakang marginal atau kurang mampu, dan anak-anak yang diidentifikasi sebagai anggota ras, etnis, bahasa, atau agama minoritas harus diikutsertakan dalam strategi ini. Suatu jenis dukungan pendidikan yang dikenal sebagai pendidikan inklusif diberikan kepada anak-anak dengan kebutuhan belajar khusus di ruang kelas biasa, termasuk sekolah dasar, sekolah menengah pertama, sekolah menengah atas, dan sekolah kejuruan. Siswa ini biasanya dapat memahami topik kursus, pekerjaan rumah, dan disiplin ilmu lainnya. Penempatan penuh anak-anak dengan tingkat kebutuhan belajar yang berbeda-beda, mulai dari tunadaksa sedang hingga berat, di dalam kelas merupakan penerapan pendidikan inklusif. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Menurut Kirk dan Miller, pengertian kualitatif pada mulanya didasarkan pada pengamatan kualitatif daripada pengamatan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Sebagai strategi pengajaran bermanfaat yang menumbuhkan toleransi sosial, pendidikan inklusif dipandang sebagai hak asasi manusia. Namun, menurut perspektif yang berbeda, pendidikan inklusif adalah pendekatan pendidikan yang menangani setiap aspek penerimaan anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan cara yang memungkinkan mereka untuk menggunakan hak-hak dasar sipil mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai signifikansi ataupun pentingnya pembelajaran qira’atul kutub di Prodi PAI terhadap Prodi PAI FITK UINSU Medan. Jenis penelitian dalam materi ini ialah kualitatif. Cara pengumpulan datanya yakni dengan cara mewawancarai narasumber dan juga dengan sumber lain yakni dari buku serta dari jurnal. Dalam penelitian ini membahas mengenai beberapa rumusan masalah yaitu: (1) pentingnya mempelajari pembelajaran qira’atul kutub di Prodi PAI FITK UINSU, karena menurut salah satu mahasiswi Prodi PAI FITK UINSU yang mempelajari pelajaran ini yakni agar tidak meninggalkan pelajaran klasik, tidak buta akan ilmu qira’atul kutub, dan memiliki keterampilan membaca literatur tafsir (2) faktor pendukung dalam mempelajari pembelajaran qira’atul kutub di Prodi PAI FITK UINSU, menurut salah satu mahasiswi Prodi PAI FITK UINSU ini ialah adanya dosen yang berpengalaman di bidang bahasa arab, adanya media yang digunakan oleh dosennya (3) faktor penghambat dalam mempelajari pembelajaran qira’atul kutub di Prodi PAI FITK UINSU, menurut salah satu mahasiswi Prodi PAI FITK UINSU ialah dosen yang mengajarkannya sangat berpengalaman, namun tidak kepada pelajaran intinya yakni pembacaan kitab (qira’atul kutub), lalu motivasi mahasiswa dan mahasiswi yang rendah, dikarenakan dosen memiliki suara yang kecil, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana yang disediakan, seperti infocus dan bahan bacaan dan kurangnya metode pembelajaran yang menarik.
