Abstract

Indonesian students' literacy skills are at an alarming level. Based on the results of the 2022 PISA survey, Indonesia is ranked 71st out of 81 countries which shows the low reading and writing abilities of students. Considering that reading and writing skills are interrelated, one way to improve literacy skills is to provide interesting reading material. To achieve this goal, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can be used, where students are asked to produce products in the form of creative and interesting reading materials. One media that can support this process is the Wattpad application. Wattpad is a digital writing platform used by more than 100 million users worldwide. This application makes it easier for students to express their ideas, thoughts and imaginations in written form. Through Wattpad, students can not only publish their work, but also get direct feedback from readers. This feedback allows students to develop their writing skills in a more efficient and consistent manner. Using Wattpad in project-based learning provides opportunities for students to improve their writing skills, while fostering interest in reading through interactive experiences. Thus, it is hoped that the Wattpad application can be an effective means of increasing the literacy of Indonesian students with an approach that is appropriate to technological developments and learning needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The decline in moral values among students today highlights the importance of integrating character education into the learning model. In the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka in elementary schools, IPAS (Science and Social Studies) lessons include the strengthening of character values. This educational focus is not only on academic knowledge but also on shaping students' character, such as a sense of responsibility, empathy towards others, and environmental awareness. The main goal is to educate students to become individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also possess good character and contribute positively to society. However, in reality, many students are still disinterested or feel bored with conventional teaching methods, often due to the monotonous and less interactive delivery of material. To address this issue, this research aims to introduce innovation in the learning process through the use of interactive media. Prezi was chosen as an alternative media option capable of providing a more dynamic, engaging, and interactive learning experience, with the hope of increasing students' interest and active participation in learning activities.

Abstract

The activeness of students during the learning process is important. Low learning activeness, especially IPAS learning, is a problem that must be considered by educators. The lack of innovation of educators in using learning media is one of the factors that students do not actively participate because students feel bored because learning feels less interesting. This study aims to analyze the learning activeness of students through the use of wordwall learning media in IPAS subjects in elementary schools. The research was conducted using qualitative research methods with the type of literature study research. The research process is carried out collecting several references that are in accordance with the topic that comes from journals and books related to the topic discussed. The author analyzes the various references to examine the use of wordwall in increasing the learning activeness of students in the scope of IPAS subjects in elementary schools. The results showed that the use of interactive game-based wordwall media can attract interest, increase motivation, and encourage the involvement of students to be more active in the learning process.

Abstract

The Kahoot application, used as a learning medium, can enhance students' interest in learning, making it easier for them to absorb the material presented by educators. This study aims to analyze the use of the Kahoot application in improving critical thinking skills among elementary school students, particularly in mathematics. By employing a literature review research method, this study gathers and evaluates various sources that discuss the effects of using Kahoot as an interactive learning medium. The findings indicate that the Kahoot application is effective when combined with specific models, methods, and strategies, significantly impacting critical thinking skills, independence, and motivation to learn among students.

Abstract

Learning media is an important requirement in the learning process to achieve the desired learning objectives. One of the learning media used in elementary school is animated movie media animation The purpose is to make it easier for educators to carry out learning and increase the activeness of students. In the research conducted using qualitative methods conducted by interviews to obtain maximum information. The results of the interviews conducted stated that learning using movie media can also encourage students to be more active and increase their response in the learning process. The activeness of learners can affect the conditions of the learning environment, so that the activeness of learning that arises in students will encourage an effective and interesting learning process. Some constraints will certainly arise, as well as the need for other supporting tools, sufficient knowledge in the use of these media and the need for adjustments to the character of the learners. Therefore, it can be justified that the use of appropriate learning media will help achieve maximum learning objectives

Abstract

“The objective of this investigation was to ascertain the impact of e-book-based Let's Read media on the level of student interest in reading. The sample for this research consisted of 24 students from class IV B SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan. This study employs a quantitative approach in conjunction with a descriptive methodology. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods, which involved calculating the average increase in data processing results using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that 68.55% of the respondents agreed that the use of Let's Read media can increase interest in reading, as indicated by the questionnaire that was distributed. It has been determined that the reading interest of students in class IV B SD Negeri 2 Metro Selatan is influenced by e-book-based Let's Read media”.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan menjadi salah satu prioritas utama yang harus ditingkatkan. Partisipasi peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran merupakan aspek yang sangat penting. Kegiatan belajar mengajar dituntut untuk mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman yang ada. Menuju era society 5.0 peserta didik di tingkat sekolah dasar harus dilatih memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis Tetapi berdasarkan fakta dilapangan banyak pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru sehingga peserta didik masih kurang aktif, untuk itu tentunya harus disiasati dengan strategi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji manfaat dari penggunaan media game edukasi berbasis IT (wordwall) sebagai upaya untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan dan aktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Dengan ini hasil implikasi hasil penelitoan adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran IT berbasis game dengan menggunakan wordwall sangat tepat dan relevan mengikuti tuntutan perkembangan zaman, yang dimana pembelajaran harus menarik dan mengintegrasikan teknologi. Hal ini juga menjadi pengambilan langkah yang efektif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik yang fleksibel tetapi dapat membangkitkan keaktifan dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan, sehingga akan berdampak pada terwujudnya pembelajaran yang optimal dan memberikan pengaruh pada hasil belajar peserta didik, serta yang terpenting adalah apabila akan menerapakan media pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi seperti wordwall ini, harus terpenuhinya sarana dan pra sarana pendukung utama di sekolah. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on student learning achievement in elementary schools. In today's digital era, the use of gadgets is increasingly widespread among children, including elementary school students. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, This descriptive study is based on the results of relevant data or documentary sources that we have collected. The bibliographic sources of this study are the internet, scientific journals, articles, books and dissertations of experts or previous authors. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between gadget use and student learning achievement. Students who use gadgets excessively tend to have lower learning achievement compared to those who use gadgets moderately. This study concludes that although gadgets can be a learning aid, their use must be balanced with supervision and limitations so as not to interfere with the learning process. Recommendations for parents and educators are the importance of regulating the time of gadget use to support student learning achievement.

Abstract

Saat ini memasuki era society 5.0 dimana masyarakat dituntut untuk menyeimbangkan kemajuan teknologi dan informasi. Dengan adanya kemajuan teknologi dalam hal pemanfaatan komputer dan internet sebagai media dan sumber belajar, pendidik harus dapat memanfaatkannya sehingga kemajuan teknologi bisa membantu proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunakan media pembelajaran berupa Powerpoint terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah SLR (Systematic Literatur Review) dimana mengumpulkan beberapa artikel yang terkalin dengan topik dengan rentang waktu 2021-2024 yang direview sebagai data pendukung dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan maka didapatkan hasil; 1) Media pembelajaran PowerPoint memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa, membuat pembelajaran lebih aktif, inovatif, dan menyenangkan. 2) Berdasarkan enam artikel yang ditinjau, terdapat bukti bahwa siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap penggunaan PowerPoint, ditandai dengan peningkatan antusiasme belajar IPA. 3) penggunaan PowerPoint juga terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata peningkatan lebih dari 80%, menunjukkan efektivitas dan kelayakan yang sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan video pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka, yaitu mengkaji berbagai penelitian yang terkait dengan topik yang dibahas dan mengkaji penelitian terdahulu yang terkait dengan penggunaan video pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa. Untuk pengumpulan data, peneliti akan memanfaatkan studi pustaka yang terkait dengan efektivitas video pembelajaran sebagai upaya pendidik untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pencarian sumber pustaka yang relevan dengan topik penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan perpustakaan digital dan pangkalan data daring. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar. Penggunaan video dalam proses pembelajaran memungkinkan siswa mudah memahami materi yang dipelajari melalui visual, audio, dan animasi yang disajikan, sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar mereka.
