Abstract

Kesehatan anak dan ketahanan pangan merupakan dua isu yang saling berkaitan yang akan berdampak signifikan bagi masyarakat ke depan. Kebutuhan akan pasokan makanan yang berkelanjutan, terutama kerentanan siswa sekolah dasar terhadap dampak perubahan pola makan dan lingkungan.Tujuannya adalah untuk menawarkan penjelasan menyeluruh, gambaran yang jelas, dan penjelasan mendalam tentang fakta, sifat, dan hubungan di antara fenomena yang sedang diselidiki. Informasi yang dikumpulkan dari literatur akan disusun dan didiskusikan secara metodis.Metode studi literatur artikel yang berguna dari 2015 hingga 2023 hanya sembilan dari dua puluh lima publikasi yang ditemukan digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan kata kunci yang di cari yaitu “dampak pendidikan” “keamanan pangan”, “kesehatan anak sekolah dasar”.Sembilan literatur ditemukan untuk menguatkan temuan, yang menunjukkan bahwa sumbernya termasuk pendidikan keamanan pangan, dampak makanan terhadap kesehatan anak-anak, dan keterlibatan lingkungan dalam mempromosikan keamanan pangan.Sangat penting untuk menekankan pendidikan keamanan pangan di sekolah dasar dan bekerja untuk menciptakan dasar pengetahuan untuk gaya hidup sehat , Instruksi ini menciptakan perilaku sehat dalam persiapan, konsumsi, dan seleksi makanan selain memberikan pemahaman mendasar tentang keamanan pangan . Anak-anak yang memahami ide ini dengan lebih baik dapat mengidentifikasi dan menghindari makanan yang dapat merusak kesehatan mereka. Selain itu, menyadari keamanan pangan mengurangi kemungkinan penyakit dan masalah kesehatan lainnya yang dapat diakibatkan oleh konsumsi makanan yang terkontaminasi.

Abstract

Female sex workers carry out sexual transactions that pose a high risk to their health. They experience a high risk of health problems, especially transmission of sexually transmitted infections. There are various factors that female sex workers (FSW) carry out sexual transactions with frequent frequency, such as poverty, gender inequality, and limited access to productive assets. This study aims to determine the associated between the frequency of sex transactions and health risks. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was all female sexual workers (FSW), with a sample size of 162 taken by purposive sampling. The results of this study show that the majority of FSWs have had a sexual transaction frequency more than two times in the last week, amounting to 79.5%, with a prevalence of high health risks of 75.9%. Based on the multivariate test, it is known that the frequency of sexual transactions is associated with health risks after controlling for the variables age and length of time as a FSW with an Adjusted Odds Ratio of 3.467 (1.415-8.494). Health risks FSW who engage in sexual transactions more than two times have a risk of 3.467 (1.415-8.494) times experiencing high health risks compared to female sex workers who engage in sexual transactions less than two times after controlling for age and length of time as female sex workers. When carrying out work in sexual exploration, FSW should continue to use sexual protective equipment and carry out regular health checks, especially for sexually transmitted infections.

Abstract

A canteen in the campus environment is one of the infrastructures that educational units must own that will support educational activities if it is managed well by paying attention to the nutritional content of food and implementing proper hygiene and sanitation. This research aims to find an overview of the canteen management policy at Sriwijaya University. This research used a qualitative design with 23 research informants, consisting of 2 Vice Chancellors, 1 Dean, 2 Deputy Deans, 6 canteen owners, 6 employees, and 6 students at Sriwijaya University. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews and observation.The data was  analyzed using the Content Analysis method and presented in a narrative for interpretation. Monitoring of each faculty's canteen for the management of a healthy canteen has mainly been carried out by handlers or sellers. However, facilities and infrastructure, such as access to electricity, clean water, canteen area, and canteen location, still need to be improved. Regarding food quality, practices, and sanitation, the food sold in each canteen already has good nutritional content. The implementation of healthy canteen management policies has been regulated in policies per faculty, although it is not evenly distributed. It is stated that the central policy for managing healthy canteens is still being designed. The implementation of canteen management policies at Sriwijaya University is that facilities and infrastructure still need to be improved, he food handlers and canteen managers are expected to continue to pay attention to food hygiene and sanitation of canteen buildings by the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation Number 1096 of 2011.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Masalah gizi ganda, termasuk kekurangan dan kelebihan gizi, merupakan permasalahan utama di Indonesia. Makanan yang aman, bergizi, dan beragam pada masa kanak-kanak adalah langkah penting untuk menghindari malnutrisi, terutama di sekolah. Metode: Kegiatan "Nutriday" di Desa Muara Dua, Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keamanan pangan dan jajanan sehat. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendampingan manajemen dan teknis melalui penyuluhan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Desa Muara Dua. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dari Juli hingga Agustus 2023. Hasil: Setelah intervensi pertama, 16 siswa mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan, sedangkan pada intervensi kedua hanya 8 siswa yang meningkat. Dalam hal sikap, 20 siswa mengalami perubahan positif setelah intervensi pertama, namun hanya 8 siswa yang berubah pada intervensi kedua. Kesimpulan: Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap siswa setelah edukasi menggunakan leaflet dan media ular tangga mengenai keamanan pangan dan jajanan sehat, menunjukkan intervensi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi keamanan pangan dan gizi siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Background : Diabetes is non communicable diseases and fastest growing diseases worldwide, that cause many complications, lead to increased mortality and decreased quality of life in individuals. Diabetes complications can controlled by dietary intervention. Ketogenic Diet (KD) is one of trusted method that having beneficially effects for patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) . Objective : This paper aim to investigate the effect of KD in the patients T2DM. Methods : This paper used the systematic review. Articles are selected using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analysis) based on google scholar and PubMed. The inclusion criteria in this writing are articles published within the last 5 years with keywords “Ketogenic Diet, Type 2 diabetes, clinical trial” Result : The results show that KD had significantly beneficial effects on weight, Body Mass Index, Cholesterol, Blood Sugar, Fasting Insulin and HbA1c were decrease and quality of sleep were increased after intervention (p value < 0,001) Conclusion : KD can controlled the body weight, blood glucose, lipids and also good for increased sleep quality in patients T2DM but have a low adherence for long term persistence Keywords : Ketogenic diet, type 2 diabetes, clinical trial

Abstract

Peran ibu adalah inti dari sebuah rumah tangga. Sebagai peran inti, kesehatan mental seorang ibu merupakan hal prioritas. Gangguan kesehatan mental ibu berdampak negatif pada kesehatan fisik dan psikologis ibu itu sendiri dan juga pada anak. Tujuan dari tinjauan ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi bukti terkini tentang hubungan antara kesehatan mental ibu dan status gizi anak di negara-negara berkembang. Tinjauan ini merupakan tinjauan sistematis untuk mensintesiskan studi penelitian yang ditemukan dalam basis data di Google Scholar, Science Direct, dan PubMed tentang hubungan antara kesehatan mental ibu dan status gizi anak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu dengan gejala gangguan mental 9 kali lebih mungkin memiliki anak dengan pertumbuhan indeks tinggi/usia abnormal (pendek/sangat pendek) dibandingkan dengan ibu tanpa gejala gangguan mental. Selain itu, kesehatan mental ibu yang buruk dapat mengakibatkan berkurangnya kehadiran ibu di Pelayanan Antenatal dan Postnatal, meningkatnya risiko preeklamsia, meningkatnya risiko kesulitan menyusui, praktik pengasuhan yang buruk, dan cakupan gizi yang tidak memadai pada anak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara gangguan kesehatan mental ibu dan status gizi yang buruk, meskipun dalam beberapa penelitian, hal tersebut tidak memberikan bukti yang jelas. Terlepas dari arah hubungan tersebut, program gizi anak di negara berkembang harus mempertimbangkan untuk menggabungkannya dengan program promosi kesehatan mental ibu.

Abstract

Introduction: The first five years of a child's life are a time of peak development. According to the global prevalence, 52.9 million children under the age of five suffer from developmental problems. Parental involvement in monitoring their children's development will rise if parents have greater education, have a high level of knowledge, higher socioeconomic level, income, and the mother does not work. In addition, toddlers with good nutritional status will optimise their development. Objective: This literature review aims to identify how maternal characteristics and nutritional status impact toddler development. Method: This study is a systematic review by searching the literature through Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed. Articles in Indonesian and English published from 2016 to 2022. Article searches used keywords or Boolean operators (AND - OR), some of the keywords used to search the literature included combinations of “development” OR “education” OR “income”’ OR “knowledge” OR “occupation” OR “nutritional status”, “education” AND “development”, “income” AND “development”, “knowledege” AND “development”, “occupation” AND “development”, “nutritional sataus” AND “development”. Result: The results of this study showed that maternal characteristics such as education level, knowledge, occupation, and family income, as well as nutritional status affect the development of toddlers. Conclusion: Knowing the interaction between maternal role and nutritional status can help optimise the development of toddlers according to their age.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi utama yang masih banyak di Indonesia. Prevalensi stunting yang tinggi menjadi ancaman terhadap kesejahteraan dan ketahanan nasional jangka panjang. Menurut hasil survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2022 prevalensi stunting sebesar 21,6% sedangkan target prevalensi stunting pada tahun 2024 yaitu 14% dan target WHO yaitu kurang dari 20%. Penanggulangan stunting di Indonesia dilakukan dengan berpedoman kepada Perpres No.72 Tahun 2021 tentang Strategi Nasional Percepatan Penurunan Stunting melalui intervensi spesifik berupa pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) lokal kepada balita stunting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menambah wawasan mengenai bagaimana pemanfaatan makanan tambahan berpangan lokal diberbagai daerah dalam upaya Penanggulangan stunting di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan systematic review menggunakan metode PRISMA. Pemilihan artikel sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi serta pencariannya melalui database Google scholar dengan kata kunci “PMT pangan lokal, Status Gizi, Balita Stunting”. Artikel yang dilakukan review dari tahun 2020-2024 dan didaptkan 12 artikel yang dilakukan review. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) berbasis pangan lokal mempengaruhi peningkatan berat badan (BB) dan tinggi badan (TB) pada balita stunting, Jika diberikan selama minimal 30 hari. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa bahwa pemberian makanan tambahan pangan lokal pada balita seperti tempe, tahu, Udang rebon, ikan patin dan kelor yang diolah menjadi makanan seperti bubur ikan, nugget, otak-otak dan bakso selama 30 hari hingga 90 hari dapat menjadi salah satu cara penurunan stunting.

Abstract

As a cheap and healthy vegetable protein, tempeh is widely consumed. The fermentation method can increase and maintain the nutritional value of tempeh made from raw materials using the Rhizopus oligosporus fungus, while softening the texture to make it easier to consume. Tempeh is becoming increasingly popular among Indonesians due to its low price, delicious taste, high nutritional value, potential health benefits, and versatility in culinary preparation. Various studies on tempeh have been carried out by researchers from various countries, especially Japan, Germany, England and the United States. Soybean tempeh is more popular and liked by many people because of its soft texture and white color. This article uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) technique, a methodical process for identifying, assessing, and interpreting all research materials related to the research subject. From the table above it is clear that of the 4,357 articles taken, only 8 articles were used as references to write this article; only 8 articles were able to provide answers to the research questions. One of the functional foods is tempeh, which is food made from soybeans (Glicyne max) which has been fermented with the help of the microbe Rhizopus sp. As a fermented product, tempeh has additional macro and micro nutrients that the body needs. Therefore, foods like this are very good for those who are malnourished and can help meet the body's nutritional needs.

Abstract

Indonesia is heavily dependent on the agricultural industry, which is one of the primary pillars of the country's economy, hence food security is very crucial. Since the majority of people work in agriculture, ensuring there is a sufficient supply of food is essential to preserving social and economic stability. Furthermore, Indonesia's geographical and cultural diversity poses particular difficulties in addressing the various dietary requirements of its many areas. In light of climate change, natural disasters, and other global issues that may have an impact on food supply, food security is also a strategic consideration. The project aims to (1) assess the degree of susceptibility of Indonesia's food system to climate change and (2) develop solutions for adaptation and mitigation that may be put into practice to enhance food security in the face of these consequences. This study provides an organized overview of food dynamics in the context of climate change and how it affects Indonesia. The literature from prestigious national and international journal articles is one of the research data sources. The findings demonstrate how difficult it is to comprehend how climate change is affecting Indonesia's food supply, which emphasizes how complicated the problems are. Farmers have put adaptation plans into place, but resource access and climate unpredictability still present obstacles. Climate change has an impact on the national economy and export-related activities. Therefore, to attain both economic stability and food security, comprehensive support and integrated policies are required. To meet the difficulties of climate change in the agricultural sector, farmers' adaptation methods, cross-sectoral cooperation, and access to climate information are essential.
