Abstract

The gap between hopes in developing the Al-Baghdadi studio and the policies made do not yet have equality. In the process of building a studio, it is important to create a strong foundation strategy, two of which are management and the pentahelix. In fact, the founder of the studio still doesn't know the foundation of management and the concept of the penta-helix. Previous research focused on work analysis, while this research focuses on management and the pentahelix. The aim of the research is to examine the scope of management and pentahelix of the Al-Baghdadi studio. The research was carried out in 2 locations, namely the cities of Medan and Deli Serdang. Abstract

This study aims to identify the values of moral character contained in the traditional Dulmuluk theater and to analyze the implementation and its impact on the character development of students. The research method employed is qualitative phenomenology, with an interpretative approach to the participants' experiences in theater activities. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using data reduction and categorization techniques based on the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman. In total, there were 20 subjects involved in this study. The results indicate that traditional Dulmuluk theater can shape students' character in various aspects, such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, cooperation, as well as social and cultural awareness. The interactions during rehearsals and performances play a significant role in fostering moral awareness, self-control, and togetherness. Evaluations of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains also show that performing arts-based learning can enhance students' social skills and empathy. As a recommendation, this study suggests that the traditional Dulmuluk theater be incorporated as part of the character education curriculum in schools. Furthermore, further research is needed using longitudinal methods to measure the long-term impact of arts-based learning on the moral and social development of students.

Abstract

The limited effectiveness of vocal instruction in digital learning contexts presents a challenge in 21st-century arts education. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of integrating the TTIE pedagogical framework (Transfer, Translation, Imitation, Evaluation) in digital-based vocal learning. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research involved participants from three active vocal communities engaged in online training programs. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, and analyzed thematically. The digital platforms used Score Creator and Score Cloud served as visual-auditory tools to support vocal transposition activities and track learner progress. The findings reveal that the TTIE framework significantly enhances pitch accuracy, learner autonomy, and peer collaboration by combining solfeggio-based approaches with digital innovation. The digital tools facilitated formative assessment, peer feedback, and self-reflection, while fostering ethical responsibility in learning. The media also demonstrated adaptability across various learning needs and contexts, making it a scalable model for modern music education. This study concludes that the integration of TTIE within digital platforms improves pedagogical effectiveness and aligns with the demands of personalized, flexible, and technology-driven instruction. The findings contribute to the advancement of digital arts education and offer opportunities for future innovation in music pedagogy.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of digital music education with disaster mitigation efforts in senior high schools in Bukittinggi, Indonesia, as a strategy to foster disaster awareness and preparedness among students. Amid the increasing frequency of natural disasters in the region, there is a growing need for educational innovations that connect creative expression with practical life skills. The research aims to investigate how music-based learning—enhanced by digital technology—can be utilized as a medium for disaster education. Using a qualitative approach supported by surveys, interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of student projects, this study reveals that students show a strong interest in incorporating disaster themes into their digital music compositions. The use of Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) not only enhances student creativity but also allows them to express their understanding of disaster preparedness through culturally relevant music. Collaboration with local artists and disaster management institutions has further strengthened the contextual relevance of the learning process. However, limitations such as inadequate infrastructure, limited access to technology, and a lack of technical training remain significant challenges. The findings suggest that a curriculum integrating digital music education with disaster mitigation content has great potential to contribute to the formation of a resilient generation. To maximize its impact, the study recommends government support in improving digital infrastructure and teacher training programs.

Abstract

The process of learning the piano involves more than the acquisition of technical skills; it also encompasses theoretical understanding, aesthetic appreciation, and adaptation to individual learner needs. This literature review examines the assimilation of piano learning through the integration of technique, theory, and technology, synthesizing findings from ten recent academic studies. The analysis reveals that effective assimilation occurs across five key dimensions: (1) multidimensional integration of technical proficiency, theoretical knowledge, and artistic expression; (2) combination of multiple memory strategies, including aural, visual, kinesthetic, and analytical approaches; (3) adaptation of teaching methods for learners with special needs; (4) interdisciplinary collaboration between music pedagogy and related sciences such as biomechanics; and (5) incorporation of technological innovations, ranging from adaptive visualisation tools to passive haptic rehearsal devices. The findings highlight that assimilation in piano learning is a dynamic, creative, and adaptive process that bridges traditional pedagogy with modern advancements. This integrated approach not only enhances skill acquisition but also fosters a deeper, more sustainable engagement with music. Future research is recommended to explore how these dimensions can be optimized simultaneously to achieve more inclusive and effective piano learning outcomes.

Abstract

Violin learning presents its own set of challenges, particularly in developing students fundamental techniques and musical sensitivity, which require refined motor coordination and heightened auditory perception. The observed low effectiveness of conventional violin instructionoften centered on verbal guidance and repetition without sufficient sensory supporthighlights the need for more innovative pedagogical approaches. This study aims to investigate the role of stimuli in violin learning through a comprehensive academic literature review, with a specific focus on visual, auditory, and haptic modalities. The research adopts a qualitative literature review method, drawing from peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. Findings indicate that the application of multimodal stimuli significantly enhances technical accuracy, accelerates the learning process, and boosts student motivation and engagement. These results underscore that stimuli function not merely as supplementary tools, but as essential components in effective violin teaching strategies that are responsive to students diverse learning needs.
