Abstract

Given that the literature indicates that many benefits can be obtained from a DW (data warehouse), but that the threat of failure is also high, therefore more understanding of the quality dimensions that contribute to the success of a DW is required. This study address that need through an empirical investigation of success in data warehousing as measured by DQ (data quality) dimensions involvement in every stage of DW development. This study attempts to confirm DW benefits from reviewed literature in five case studies and three consultants. This study also identifies relationship amongst DQ dimensions in DW development stages and DW success. This study is helpful for DW practitioners, implementers and researchers for understanding of the challenges which DQ dimensions in DW stages are significant to establishing a successful DW development.Keywords: data warehouse, data quality, data warehouse benefits.Abstrak

Abstract

Currently social media (especially Twitter and Facebook), have become an alternative media for news dissemination, Data shows hoax news complaints reaching 5070 in 2017 (Damar, 2017). In fact there is an increasing tendency to fabricate lies to cover up the truth or known as hocus to trick (Prasetijo et al., 2017). Therefore it is necessary to develop a tool to detect whether a news is a hoax or not. To the best of our knowledge, there is no research in hoax detection system in Indonesian language except using text vector representations based on Term Frequency and Document Frequency as well as the Support Vector Machine and Stochastic Gradient Descent classification techniques with 60% of accuracy (Prasetijo et al., 2017).  It still needed a research to develop an integrated applications to detect hoax news on social media. Scikit - Learn is a python module that integrates various machine learning algorithms for medium-scale supervised and uncontrolled problems. This module is very efficient for data mining and data analysis (Jason, 2014). By using python and scikit learn, machine learning models can be obtained for the detection of news hoaxes on social media. This research covers application development for pre-processing data based on data collected from Twitter and Facebook for 3 months, creating models with scikit learn and testing the model with actual news to check the accuracy of the model in detecting hoax news. The results of this study indicate that hoax news detection systems on social media can be done by creating a classification model with TF-IDF, CountVectorizer, PassiveAgressive Classifier and SupportVector Classifier. The model developed successfully shows whether a news is fake or real by looking at the accuracy of the vector classification results. The higher the accuracy of a news on the classification vector, the more easily known whether fake or real.Keyword : hoax detection, news, scikit learn, social media

Abstract

Data warehouse (DW) integrates information from numerous data sources not only for storage purposes but also for business analysis as well. As this information is to be used for business intelligent, it makes the design of DW difficult task. DW quality depends on the quality of all requirements, conceptual, logical and physical models used for DW design. Therefore, data quality has to be incorporated in the whole phase of DW development. Abstract

AbstrakMany articles on data warehouse development have been written, however no clearly defined standards have been formulated that is applicable to all type of organizations. The rapid growth in data volumes has given rise to new problems for institutions: data quality, which is a critical issue when data are transferred from one system to another. Lack of data quality provided by data warehouse can lead to bad strategic decisions and indicates a significant failure rate. Thus, data quality in data warehouse needs to be assured. It has been widely accepted that data quality issues can emerge at any stage of data warehouse development. However, yet little work is done for formulating data quality that should be considered in the entirety of data warehouse development. This study was achieved through qualitative method by reviewing the most common practices data warehouse development in five organisations that is applicable to all type of organizations and then tried to confirm whether data quality in data warehouse from literature review is practiced in the five organisations followed by confirmation from the experts in order to determine specific data quality dimensions that correlated with data warehouse development. Based on the similirities in the development stages, identification of common practices for DW development can be obtained: requirements analysis, conceptual design, logical design, ETL, and physical design. There are sixteen dimensions of data quality that should be considered in the development of data warehouse.Keywords : data warehouse, data quality, common practices.

Abstract

Data warehouse/ data mart can support query in decision making.Building data warehouse/ data mart can give companies a strategic advantage over their competition. This advantage can come from several sources: the ability to access enterprise-wide data, the ability to have consistent data, and the ability to perform analysis quickly. Bank DKI intends to build data mart to help them make decision. Bank DKI can use the information in a datamart to spot trends in loan analysis, collection,  and its relationship. Once Bank DKI builds a data mart, chairman of this bank have a consistent surce for enterprise-wide data that allows for fast answers to query. Buidling data mart for loan usually means rearranging the loan data and performing data mining to look for trends that were previously unknown. Abstract

The process of establishing the Job Creation Law has established a series of principles, both formally and materially. The formation of the Job Creation Law tends to ignore the principles of the formation of laws and regulations, both formal and material principles. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is how the design and ratification of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation is in accordance with Law No. 15/2019 concerning the Establishment of Legislations, what is the position of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation in the perspective of Law No. 15/2019 concerning the Formation of Legislation, how is the impact of the implementation of Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation on the prevailing statutory system in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive analysis that leads to normative juridical legal research, namely research conducted by referring to legal norms, namely researching library materials or secondary materials. Secondary data by processing data from primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The results of the study indicate that the process of designing and ratifying Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation is not in accordance with Law No. 15/2019 concerning the Formation of Legislations because at the planning and drafting stages it turned out to be Academic Papers and the Basis for Drafting Legislation Programs. National has no legal force. The position of Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation in the perspective of Law No. 15/2019 concerning the Formation of Legislation is to have a strong position in the structure and national legal system. The impact of the implementation of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation on the applicable legal system in Indonesia is that the Job Creation Law has procedural defects because in the process the public does not know the standard and official text related to the Job Creation Act, and is not involved directly in the discussion and ratification, which is contrary to the constitutional rights as citizens regulated in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractInformation technology has developed rapidly, so that it can help no one knows who needs technology. Likewise, the professional certification body Quality Assurance and Food Safety (LSP JMKP). With the average number of certification registrants in the field of quality assurance and food safety reaching an average of 10,000 participants per year, without a computerized support system, it feels good for the LSP to carry out daily operations. It is felt that the need for the system must be realized immediately. As one form of concern for the people who need it, as permanent management or based at the Faculty of Computer Science, Esa Unggul University, we have assisted in developing a certification system in the field of Procurement Suppliers and Food Safety. Description is a system design document that is ready to be translated into programming languages by programmers. To be more convincing of the real needs in developing a professional certification system in the field of quality assurance and food safety, we have also made a prototype system. The prototype is expected to be further developed so that it can become a whole system that can be used in day-to-day operations at LSP JMKP. Keywords: assistance, system, professional certification AbstrakTeknologi informasi sudah berkembang demikian pesatnya, sehingga bisa dikatakan tidak ada satupun organisasi yang tidak membutuhkan teknologi informasi. Demikian juga dengan lembaga sertifikasi profesi jaminan mutu dan keamanan pangan (LSP JMKP). Dengan rata-rata jumlah pendaftar sertifikasi di bidang jaminan mutu dan keamanan pangan yang mencapai rata-rata 10.000 peserta per tahun, tanpa adanya dukungan sistem yang terkomputerisasi rasanya berat bagi LSP tersebut untuk menjalankan operasionalisasi sehari-harinya. Dirasa kebutuhan akan sistem tersebut sudah mendesak untuk bisa segera direalisasikan. Sebagai salah satu bentuk kepedulian kepada masyarakat yang membutuhkan,  sebagai dosen tetap atau berpangkalan pada Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Esa Unggul,  kami sudah melakukan pendampingan dalam pembangunan sistem sertifikasi profesi di bidang jaminan mutu dan keamanan pangan. Hasilnya adalah dokumen perancangan sistem yang siap diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman oleh para programmer. Untuk lebih memahami akan kebutuhan riil dalam pembangunan sistem sertifikasi profesi di bidang jaminan mutu dan keamanan pangan, kami juga sudah membuat prototipe sistem. Diharapkan prototipe tersebut bisa dikembangkan lebih jauh sehingga bisa menjadi sebuah sistem yang utuh yang bisa digunakan dalam operasional sehari-hari di LSP JMKP. Kata kunci: pendampingan, sistem, sertifikasi profesi

AbstractThe rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has affected all sectors, including education management. Inevitably, like or dislike school should start implementing ICT in its management so that education management can be done effectively and efficiently. ICT-based education management extension is addressed to teachers and management at Citra Nusantara Vocational High School in Tangerang. The method used in this community service is counseling, discussion and counseling of ICT implementation in education management at the School SMK Nusantara Citra. Implementation of community service is arguably successful, because the material conformity with the needs of the participants, the positive response from participants and the wishes of the participants and foundations venue for counseling to be developed with other topics that could support the implementation of ICT in vocational schools (SMK) Citra Nusantara. Keywords: education management, ICT, counseling AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) yang sedemikian pesat telah mempengaruhi semua sektor, termasuk manajemen pendidikan. Mau tidak mau, suka ataupun tidak suka sekolah harus mulai mengimplementasikan TIK dalam manajemennya agar pengelolaan pendidikan bisa dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Penyuluhan manajemen pendidikan berbasis TIK ini ditujukan kepada guru-guru dan manajemen di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Citra Nusantara di Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah penyuluhan, diskusi dan konseling implementasi TIK dalam manajemen pendidikan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Citra Nusantara. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bisa dibilang berhasil, karena kesesuaian materi dengan kebutuhan peserta, respon positif dari peserta serta keinginan dari peserta dan yayasan tempat berlangsungnya penyuluhan agar dikembangkan dengan topik yang lain yang bisa mendukung implementasi TIK di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Citra Nusantara. Kata kunci: manajemen pendidikan, TIK, penyuluhan
