Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision of Vocational High School (SMK) graduate students to continue to training institutions. This phenomenon is important considering the world of work's need for more specific and dynamic skills. This research uses a quantitative approach with logistic regression analysis techniques. It is hoped that the research results can contribute to the development of more targeted vocational education and job training policies. The results of this research found that costs, job placement, curriculum, learning methods, facilities, and competency certificates significantly influence vocational school graduates' decisions to continue their education. Competency certificates have the greatest impact, loss in validating skills. Job placement services are also important in motivating continuing education. High costs negatively influence decisions, highlighting the need for better financial support mechanisms.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the influence of teamwork, work environment, occupational safety, and health on employee performance at KUD Pakis, Malang Regency. The research adopts a quantitative approach, utilizing questionnaires to collect data from employees as respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to identify the simultaneous and partial effects of independent variables on employee performance. The results indicate that teamwork, work environment, and occupational safety and health have a significant positive impact on employee performance. Specifically, a supportive work environment and cohesive teamwork enhance productivity, while implementing comprehensive safety and health measures contributes to improved performance. These findings underscore the importance of strategic human resource management in fostering organizational success and ensuring employee well-being. Keywords: Teamwork, Work Environment, Occupational Safety And Health, Employee Performance

Abstract

Abstract This thesis is entitled "The Influence of Advertising, Endorser Credibility, Advertising Appeal on iPhone Purchase Interest" Case study on students of the Faculty of Economics and Business class of 2020 at the Islamic University of Malang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of advertising, endorser credibility, advertising appeal simultaneously and partially on iPhone purchase interest. This study uses an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. This sample collection uses purposive sampling and gets 85 samples. This data collection uses a questionnaire method that is distributed offline and online via google forms and questionnaire paper. The simultaneous results of this study are that advertising, endorser credibility, advertising appeal have a significant effect on iPhone purchase interest. The partial results of this study are that advertising has a significant effect on purchase interest, endorser credibility has a significant effect on purchase interest, and advertising appeal has a significant effect on iPhone purchase interest. Keywords: Advertising, Endorser Credibility, Advertising Appeal, And Purchase Interest.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of religiosity in enhancing fraud prevention effectiveness through the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), internal control, and compensation adequacy at Bank Muamalat East Java. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling method through Smart PLS, this study involved 74 respondents from Bank Muamalat East Java employees. Research variables include religiosity (ideological, ritualistic, consequential, intellectual, experiential), GCG (transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness), internal control (control environment, risk management, control activities, information and communication, monitoring), compensation (salary, incentives, allowances, facilities, non-financial compensation), and fraud prevention (lapping, embezzlement, pilferage, falsification, skimming). The results show that religiosity plays a significant role as a moderator in strengthening the relationship between GCG, internal control, and compensation adequacy toward fraud prevention. The research model explains 74.2% of variance in fraud prevention with predictive relevance (Q²) of 0.531. These findings provide theoretical contributions in developing fraud triangle theory enriched with religiosity dimensions in the Islamic banking context. Practically, this study provides recommendations for Bank Muamalat management to integrate religiosity values into governance systems, internal control, and compensation policies as a comprehensive fraud prevention strategy. Abstract

This study examines the influence of self-service technology and customer relationship marketing on customer loyalty at Bank Muamalat Malang, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative research, this research analyzes data from 100 respondents collected through structured questionnaires. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships between variables. Results indicate that both self-service technology and customer relationship marketing significantly influence customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction playing a crucial mediating role. Self-service technology demonstrates a positive impact on customer satisfaction through ease of use, utility, time efficiency, and self-control dimensions. Customer relationship marketing, measured through trust, competence, commitment, communication, and conflict handling, also shows significant positive effects on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The mediation analysis reveals that customer satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between independent variables and customer loyalty. These findings provide valuable insights for Islamic banking institutions in developing effective strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty through technological innovation and relationship management. Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to determine the analysis of marketing strategies at Overtoun in the form of segmentation, targeting, positioning and their influence on consumer purchasing decisions. This research is a type of explanatory research with a quantitative approach, which was carried out to test the influence between variables. The population in this research are all consumers who have used or are currently using Overtoun products in the Gadang Village area. From this population, a sample will be determined using Malhotra's formula method so that a sample of 100 samples will be obtained. Data analysis in this research consists of instrument testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and   coefficient of determination testing. The results of this research show that based on the results of the t test, there is a partial influence between the segmentation, targeting and positioning variables on consumer purchasing decision variables. Adjusted R Square of 64.2% of the     dependent variable, namely the decision to take credit, can be explained by the variables. Segmentation (X1), Targeting (X2), Positioning (X3) while 35.8% is explained by other variables outside the research model. Keywords: Consumer Purchasing Decisions, Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning

Abstract

Abstract The development of e-commerce in Indonesia has driven changes in consumer behavior, including the purchase of hijab products through social media. Syamilahhijab, as one of the local brands, utilizes digital marketing strategies, product quality, and customer reviews as its main attractions. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing, product quality, and online customer reviews on consumer purchasing decisions. The research approach used is quantitative with an explanatory research method. A total of 85 respondents were selected using purposive sampling, and data were collected through online questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that simultaneously, all three independent variables have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. However, partially, only online customer reviews have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, while social media marketing and product quality do not show a significant effect. These findings indicate that customer reviews play a crucial role in shaping consumer perception and decision-making in the context of online shopping. This research provides practical implications for business actors to focus their strategies more on managing customer reviews in a positive and consistent manner.  Keywords: Purchasing Decision, Social Media Marketing, Product Quality, Online Customer Review, E-Commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of products and promotions on consumer purchasing decisions in the Shopee marketplace, with purchase motivation as a mediating variable. The approach used is a quantitative approach with an explanatory research type to test and prove the hypothesis of the relationship between variables. The theory used as a basis is the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), which explains that positive attitudes, social support, and perceived control play an important role in shaping consumer intentions and behavior. Data were obtained from Shopee consumers in Malang City who made non-food and non-drink purchases during the COVID-19 pandemic, using a judgmental sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that products and promotions have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both directly and through purchase motivation as a mediating variable. These findings reinforce the importance of product quality, promotional strategies, and the role of consumer motivation in increasing online purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the extent to which flash sales, endorsements from beauty influencers, and consumer reviews influence product purchase interest on the Shopee e-commerce platform, with the study subjects being 2022 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the Islamic University of Malang. The sample size was determined using Maholtra's formula, resulting in 75 respondents. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to the selected students using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software. The testing methods applied included validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, F-tests, t-tests, and determination coefficient (R²) tests. The analysis results showed that the variables of flash sales, beauty influencer endorsements, and consumer reviews have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest. Keywords: Flash sale, Endorsement beauty influencer, Consumer Reviews, and Purchase Interest.

Abstract

Background: BRI Cabang Malang Martadinata yaitu daya kerja dilingkungan terlihat sangat rendah, hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah jam kerja dan jam istirahat yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan seperti penerapan jam kerja yang tidak teratur itulah yang menyebabkan kinerja seorang pegawai tidak bisa optimal. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini untuk dapat bekerja sesuai dengan standar organisasi dan membantu mendorong organisasi menuju arah kemajuan. Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, pendamping, dan evaluasi. Hasil: Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa Budaya organisasi di lembaga perbankan BUMN berhubungan positif dengan kinerja pegawai Di BRI Cabang Malang Martadinata, budaya yang kuat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dan memotivasi pegawai yang menyebabkan hubungan ini adalah tanggung jawab karyawan dalam menyelesaikan tugas tanpa mengandalkan jam kerja. Kesimpulan: Dalam persaingan pegawai yang semakin kompleks dan dinamis saat ini, BRI Cabang Malang Martadinata dapat memastikan keberlanjutan dan keberhasilan jangka panjang pegawai dengan memprioritaskan peran budaya organiasai dan kinerja pegawai kemudian pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai yang menjadi dasar dalam organisasi pada penghayatan yang lebih dalam dan lebih baik.
