Abstract

Literacy pantun is a form of oral literature that not only functions as entertainment but also as an educational tool for improving children’s language skills and critical thinking. This study aims to implement pantun literacy as a learning strategy in Sanggar Bimbingan Ampang, Selangor, Malaysia, to improve the literacy skills of children of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI). The method used in this program involves a participatory approach by introducing pantun, language games, practice of pantun, and pantun competition. The program was designed so that children can learn fun while remaining rooted in Malay culture, which is rich in moral values. The results demonstrated that pantun literacy improved the children’s language skills in terms of vocabulary, sentence structure, and creative thinking. Children who were initially less interested in literacy activities began to show greater interest in reading, writing , and communicating orally through pantun. The program also increased children's confidence in public speaking and strengthened their understanding of Indonesian culture, even though they grew up in an environment with more exposure to foreign cultures. The conclusion of this activity demonstrates that pantun literacy can be an effective strategy for improving children’s literacy skills through a culture-based approach. The success of this programme will encourage the integration of pantun literacy into language-learning in education centers and formal schools. For further development, support is needed in the form of providing adequate resources, training for educators, and utilizing digital technology so that pantun literacy can continue to be preserved and utilized as an innovative and interesting learning tool.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn di kelas X AKL SMK Koperasi Pontianak. mengatasi masalah dengan menggunakan model Paikem Gembrot. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Paikem Gembrot untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Paikem Gembrot SMK Koperasi Pontianak. Metode penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari satu pertemuan dan empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi, dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2021. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas X AKL SMK yang berjumlah 20 orang, dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki 9 orang, dan siswa perempuan 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi, observasi, dan penilaian kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar mata pelajaran PPKn di kelas X AKL SMK Koperasi Pontianak pada siklus I tergolong baik dengan rata-rata 65.68 %. Selanjutnya dari 20 orang siswa hanya 13 orang yang tuntas dengan ketuntasaan klasikal 70 %. Pada siklus II tergolong baik dengan rata-rata 83.85% dari 20 orang siswa terdapat 19 orang siswa tuntas dengan ketuntasaan klasikal 95 %. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Paikem Gembrot dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn Kelas X SMK AKL Koperasi Pontianak.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara pembelajaran organisasi dengan perilaku kerja inovatif pada pegawai Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang, dengan keterikatan kerja sebagai variabel pemoderasi. Jenis investigasi yang digunakan adalah investigasi kuantitatif. Investigasi ini adalah analisis kausal. Jumlah karyawan Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang yang termasuk dalam populasi penelitian ini adalah 60 orang, tidak membedakan antara karyawan tetap dan kontrak. Sementara pengambilan sampel lengkap digunakan untuk menghitung jumlah sampel untuk penyelidikan ini, jumlah sampel sesuai dengan ukuran populasi enam puluh individu. Analisis SEM menggunakan SmartPLS3 adalah metode analisis data yang digunakan. (1) Organizational Learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif Pegawai Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang. (2) Organizational Learning berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap Work Engagement pegawai Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang. Work Engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif Insan Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang. Organizational Learning berpengaruh kuat terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif di kalangan Insan Perumda Air Minum Kota Padang, dengan Work Engagement sebagai variabel pemoderasi.

Abstract

The main goal of this research is to investigate how understanding of tax laws, job market prospects, and workload perceptions affect accounting students' desire to pursue a career in taxation. This study will use a quantitative method to establish correlations, with data being gathered through an internet survey. The target group for this research consists of undergraduate accounting students enrolled in universities within the LL Dikti II region, such as Bangka Belitung University, Bengkulu University, Lampung University, and Sriwijaya University, with a total of 242 participants included in the sample. Variable measurement involves using a scale that ranges from 1 to 5, and the research methodology utilises the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) technique with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach in the SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The outcomes revealed that the three variables of taxation knowledge, consideration of the job market, and perceived workload significantly impacted interest in a career in taxation. These results suggest that students' choices to enter the field of taxation are influenced by various factors, including their level of tax knowledge, the availability of job opportunities, and their preparedness for the workload, with the job market being the most influential factor in their decision-making.

Abstract

Responsible and honest personality Mostly formed through early character education. The paradigm of character education that emphasizes affection and role model is one of the most effective approaches to instill moral values in children. This study aims to investigate how kindergarten educational institutions use care and role model to implement the concept of character education. The research methodology used is a qualitative approach that utilizes the process of recording, interviews, and observations at Tadika AlFikh Orchard Port Klang Malaysia. Early character education plays a crucial role in shaping responsible and honest personalities. An effective paradigm for character education involves fostering affection and providing positive role models, helping children internalize moral values through observation and imitation. This study aims to explore how kindergarten educational institutions implement character education by emphasizing care and role modeling as key strategies. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and documentation at Tadika Al-Fikh Orchard, Port Klang, Malaysia. The results of the study showed that role models from teachers and parents. Children tend to imitate the behavior they see from adult figures around them, especially in terms of honesty, responsibility, and concern for others. In addition, concern can also be developed through social activities and interactions that involve cooperation and empathy in the learning environment. However, there are several obstacles and constraints faced, including the lack of cooperation from mothers and fathers and the various characters of children.

Abstract

This paper aims at reviewing the effect of the monetary policy towards currency stability in developing countries with reference to the manner in which monetary instruments and external shocks affect the exchange rate and inflation rates. The analysed data concerns several developing countries for the period 2010-2020, and applied methodology involves both regression and sensitivity analysis. Major conclusions show that both the interest rates and the inflation rates rise, lead to increase in exchange rates volatility, but the reserve requirements and the foreign reserves have a positive effect on the exchange rates stability. Advanced analyses endorse that the external factor like as external debt and commodity exports have a crucial influence on the currency stability. Also, it analyses implications of the non-standard measures like quantitative easing, and establish that currency debasement may have dangers for emerging market economies with balance of payment risks. With this research, the following gaps in the existing literature are covered: First, it presents a more profound perspective on the effectiveness of monetary policy and second, it contributes an understanding of the relationship of monetary policy and the stability of its currency. The implications of the findings are therefore as follows Policies for developing countries have been reviewed and it has been made very clear that monetary policies should be undertaken cautiously in order to reduce on inflation as well as external factors affecting the economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui penguasaan guru dalam menguasai kerampilan mengajar guru, dengan titik fokus keterampilan pengelolaan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah observasi, serta yang menjadi subjek dari penelitian ini ialah Guru Kelas, yaitu kelas mawar dan melati di TK Aba 18 Sukarame. Berdasarkan observasi yang telah dilakukan hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pengelolaan kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru masih kurang, hal ini ditunjang oleh faktor keadaan dan situasi kelas, tetapi di balik itu semua dalam sistem pembuatan model pembelajaran, guru sudah benar dalam pembuatan model kelompok dengan membuat sudut pengaman.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumen Muslim di Indonesia saat ini semakin dipengaruhi oleh meningkatnya kesadaran halal (Halal awareness).  Tren halal lifestyle, yang mencakup berbagai aspek kehidupan, juga memengaruhi pilihan produk kecantikan.  Kosmetik halal menjadi pilihan utama bagi banyak konsumen karena sesuai dengan nilai-nilai dan keyakinan keagamaan mereka, yaitu terbebas dari bahan-bahan haram dan najis, serta terjamin proses produksinya.  Penelitian mengenai perilaku konsumen dalam konteks halal lifestyle dan kosmetik halal menjadi penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang mendorong pilihan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku halal lifestyle serta pendapat terkait penggunaan kosmetik halal menurut prespektif ning pondok pesantren. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan obeservasi langsung. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Miles dan Huberman, mencakup pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa halal lifestyle dan halal awareness memiliki peran besar dalam keputusan perempuan dalam memilih kosmetik. Perempuan yang memiliki tingkat halal awareness tinggi cenderung lebih memilih produk kosmetik dan memastikan bahwa produk yang di gunakan bebas dari bahan najis dan aman untuk ibadah. Di sisi lain, penelitian ini juga mengungkap bahwa tidak semua perempuan merasa perlu menggunakan kosmetik, baik karena alasan pribadi, kepraktisan, maupun faktor keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Capital Structure, Company Size, Sales Growth and Good Corporate Governance on Company Value with Profitability as an Intervening variable in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2019-2023. Abstract

The role of the Mukim institution, as a unique customary body under the Aceh special autonomy system, in managing customary forests has been a subject of debate. The limitations and challenges faced by Mukim in fulfilling its responsibilities, particularly in light of contemporary environmental and legal pressures, remain unclear. This study employs a doctrinal-empirical investigation, utilizing a literature review and interviews with respondents and informants. The empirical research was conducted in Mukim Lampanah, Seulimeum District, and Mukim Blang Mee, Lhoong District, both situated in Aceh Besar Regency. The findings indicate that the Mukim holds a position of authority in the governance of customary forests, playing a crucial role in the management and oversight of natural resources within their designated territories. They possess the authority to designate customary forests. However, their capacity to meet these responsibilities is hampered by a lack of personnel within the Mukim institution and limited engagement from local administrations, particularly in terms of policy support and collaborative forest management efforts. Additionally, their efforts often conflict with national forestry management policies. To enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of forest management, it is essential to establish stronger collaboration and coordination mechanisms between the Mukim and government forestry agencies. This would facilitate better alignment of policies and improve overall forest governance.
