Abstract

Al-Mahirah Market is built on two hectares of land. The market has six main buildings intended for poultry markets, meat markets, seasoning markets, vegetable markets, and fish markets, respectively. As a people's market and located on Jl. Syiah Kuala, Gampong Lamdingin, Kuta Alam District, Banda Aceh City. Al-Mahirah Market is a people's market resulting from the relocation of Peunayong Market, Kartini Market, and SMEP Market. This study aims to find out the perception of traders towards the development of Al-Mahirah Market and to determine the socioeconomic impact on these market traders. This research method is survey research using a quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The impact of Al-Mahirah Market on the socioeconomics of traders varies according to the perception of the trader used as a sample. Traders' perception of social impact is 62% casual and 18% have a good impact and as many as 20% give a bad perception of the impact experienced by traders. Labor Absorption, which is the capacity of the number of traders accommodated in the Al-Mahirah market in addition to traders relocated from the old market, which is 8.31%, the construction of Al-Mahirah Market provides a good map in facilitating new jobs for the residents of Banda Aceh City. Economic conditions based on the income of traders have not been able to have a significant impact on the development of Al-Mahirah Market, this is evidenced by the fact that most 75% of traders of medium income and 21% of traders have low incomes. The average economic condition of the market trader is based on income ranging from IDR1,500,000 to IDR2,500,000 per month and as many as 21% of traders have incomes below IDR1,500,000 per month.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the spirit and values of Pencasila in dealing with the negative impact of artificial intelligence on business and accounting education through internalizing the spirit and values of Pancasila in the curriculum and learning of accounting education. This research uses the doxique concept pioneered by Pierre Bourdieu as a unit of analysis to detect traces of the dominance of masculinity, the impact of artificial intelligence in accounting education, especially in the Auditing 1 course. The results of this research show that reconstruction in the Auditing 1 course is an alternative solution for internalizing and transferring the spirit and values of Pancasila in the learning model and accounting education curriculum

Abstract

Losses are a natural phenomenon that cannot be avoided, because they are absolute and certain to occur in the distribution of electric power. Technical losses are influenced by the type of cross-section, cross-sectional area, natural factors such as temperature, and so on. In this study, the author analyzes changes in operating patterns against losses at PT PLN ULP Imandi with a spindle system or can be supplied from other feeders. In ULP Imandi there are 3 feeders, namely SO1, SLO7, and OB2, each of which is supplied from a different GI (main substation). The purpose of this study is to analyze the technical losses that occur in ULP Imandi so that a value is obtained with the help of ETAP software which can then be used as a reference for evaluation. ULP Imandi has a feeder length of 207.22 kms with a AAAC 50mm2 cross-section of 60.093 kms, AAAC 95 mm2 of 84.273 kms, and AAACS 150 mm2 of 62.854 kms. With this data, the ideal loss value for ULP Imandi is 119,448 kWh/month.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower parents and teachers at KB Permata Bunda School in Peudada, Bireuen, by enhancing children’s nutritional skills and awareness through training in the preparation of nutritious meatballs and nuggets. The training was selected because meatballs and nuggets are popular among children, yet they often lack essential nutrients. Activities included the delivery of balanced nutrition material, demonstrations of nutritious meatball and nugget preparation, and hands-on practice. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, with pretest scores rising from 30% to 85% in the posttest, reflecting a 55% improvement. Furthermore, participants’ skills in preparing nutritious food for children improved from 40% to 90%, indicating a 50% increase in competency. Overall, 90% of participants expressed satisfaction with the training and their ability to prepare nutritious meals for children.

Abstract

Electricity plays a vital role in human life, so serious efforts are needed to ensure its reliable distribution. One of the main issues in electrical systems is short-circuit faults, which can cause equipment damage and widespread power outages. To minimize the impact of such faults, a protection system that is reliable, adequate, and well-coordinated is essential. A good protection system must meet several criteria, such as proper selectivity, the ability to quickly respond to disturbances to reduce equipment damage, high sensitivity to detect even the smallest faults based on regulated current levels, and efficient coordination and backup in case the main protection fails. It must also remain stable against external disturbances. To achieve reliable protection coordination, simulation is necessary. One tool that can be used is ETAP 21.0.1 software. ETAP helps in modeling the electrical network, calculating short-circuit currents, and evaluating the performance of primary and secondary protection coordination. The simulation results show that short-circuit current values vary at each busbar point depending on the system impedance and network configuration. Through this simulation, settings like the Time Multiplier Setting (TMS) and pickup current can be adjusted to improve relay coordination, making it more selective and reliable. This study provides valuable insight into the reliability and safety of the electricity distribution operating system in the Sabang ULP area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of an automated control system in a piggyback greenhouse that implements a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) as the control center, using a wick irrigation system for the plants. A piggyback greenhouse is a multi-story greenhouse concept designed for space efficiency in urban agriculture. This system utilizes soil moisture, temperature, and light sensors to monitor environmental conditions, along with actuators such as water pumps and ventilation systems controlled by a PLC. The wick irrigation method was chosen for its efficiency and energy savings, as water is absorbed by the plants through capillary action. Tests were conducted in several environmental scenarios to assess the response and stability of the automated control system. The test results showed that the system was able to consistently maintain soil moisture within the optimal range of 60–80%, with an average response time of 3 seconds for pump activation. Furthermore, the use of a PLC allows for flexibility in control logic settings and operational efficiency. Overall, the PLC-based piggyback greenhouse system with wick irrigation has proven effective in improving agricultural environmental control and supporting small-scale precision agriculture concepts. This research can serve as a basis for further development in the application of automation technology in the modern urban agricultural sector.

Abstract

The current trend of social and political fracture among Indonesian people has permeated many aspects of life, including religious domain. While moderate Muslims are still majority, the voice of conservative and also element of radical Muslim groups has shown a great militancy in campaigning for their agenda. Rivalry among those groups in the public discourse is unavoidable. This study examines the contested idea of ‘Islam Nusantara’ in the effort to campaign for moderate and friendly Islam in the early of Joko Widodo’s administration. Since conservative and radical factions have rejected the idea of Pancasila state, accusing of other Muslims of being kafir (apostasy) and the spirit to eliminate local cultures, their counterparts use different agenda and approach. The moderate Muslims use the concept of Islam Nusantara to campaign for the concept of Islam and nationalism, respect for diversity and cultural approaches. This study reveals the different point of view of Muslim groups regarding the concept and practice of Islam Nusantara which has become a controversy since the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) used it as the main theme in the 33rd congress. Although ‘Islam Nusantara’ is not a new term in the discourse of Indonesian Islam, the contestation and consensus have produced a new fragmentation of religious opinions among Indonesian Muslims. This research aims to explore the sociology of knowledge among Indonesian Muslims whose inclination has been devided into two big streams of moderate and conservative wing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the participatory communication implemented by the Student Regiment (Menwa) Coordinator of Region 1 Surabaya in its efforts to increase university students' interest in national defense. Stemming from the issue of declining student interest in Menwa activities, the research explores how communication plays a vital role in fostering awareness and participation. Using the theory of participatory communication influenced by Paulo Freire’s ideas and a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the communication carried out by Menwa is active and inclusive, directly engaging students and successfully raising awareness of the importance of national defense. This study contributes to the field of communication science, particularly in the implementation of communication strategies in civic education contexts. The research recommends a more humanistic and dialogic communication approach to attract younger generations to national issues.

Abstract

Dalam upaya pemberantasan tindak pidana narkotika, Undang-undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika telah menetapkan ketentuan mengenai jenis-jenis tindak pidana serta sanksi pidana dengan batas minimum dan maksimum. Namun penegakkan hukum dalam kasus narkotika terkadang menimbulkan diskirsus, salah satunya dalam putusan Nomor 59/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Lsm yang menjatuhkan putusan dibawah batas minimum khusus yang telah ditentukan undang-undang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberian putusan pemidanaan dibawah batas minimum khusus dalam perkara tindak pidana narkotika studi putusan Nomor 59/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Lsm. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan undang-undang (statute approach) dan kasus (case approach). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: 1) penerapan hukum terkait sanksi pemidanaan dibawah batas minimum khusus dalam perkara tindak pidana narkotika adalah hakim memiliki kebebasan namun kebebasan yang dimiliki tidak lah bersifat mutlak. Hukum ataupun peraturan perundang-undangan merupakan dasar hakim dalam memutus perkara. Dalam putusan Nomor 59/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Lsm, hakim memutus berdasarkan surat dakwaan tetapi terhadap ketentuan pemidanaannya dapat menyimpangi ketentuan minimum khusus dengan membuat pertimbangan yang cukup sesuai dengan SEMA Nomor 3 Tahun 2015 tentang Pemberlakuan rumusan hasil rapat pleno kamar mahkamah agung Tahun 2015 sebagai pedoman pelaksanaan tugas bagi pengadilan. 2) Dasar pertimbangan hakim dalam pemberian putusan pemidanaan dibawah batas minimum khusus mencakup pada pertimbangan yuridis dan non yuridis, dalam putusan Nomor 59/Pid.Sus/2014/PN Lsm hakim lebih cenderung pada pertimbangan non yuridis dengan menerapkan asas individualitas pemidanaan.

Abstract

Fenomena perceraian di Mahkamah Syariyah Kabupaten Gayo Lues terus meningkat meskipun musyawarah adat masih menjadi pilihan utama masyarakat untuk menyelesaikan konflik rumah tangga. Implementasi mediasi sebagai alternatif penyelesaian perkara menghadapi hambatan, seperti rendahnya tingkat keberhasilan mediasi dan minimnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi mediasi dalam perkara perceraian, hambatan yang dihadapi, serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap hakim mediator, pihak berperkara, serta tokoh masyarakat yang terlibat dalam penyelesaian konflik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penyelesaian perkara perceraian di Kabupaten Gayo Lues masih didominasi oleh mediasi berbasis adat yang menekankan musyawarah dan pelibatan tokoh masyarakat serta keluarga besar, yang mencerminkan kuatnya nilai budaya lokal dalam menyelesaikan konflik rumah tangga secara kekeluargaan sebelum beralih ke mekanisme hukum formal di Mahkamah Syariyah. Namun, pelaksanaan mediasi dalam perkara perceraian di Mahkamah Syariyah Kabupaten Gayo Lues belum efektif karena berbagai hambatan, seperti rendahnya pemahaman hukum masyarakat, kurangnya kepercayaan terhadap lembaga peradilan, dan minimnya pemahaman para pihak mengenai prosedur mediasi formal turut menghambat keberhasilan mediasi. Kendala teknis seperti jarak jauh dan biaya transportasi juga memperburuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam mediasi. Untuk mengatasi hambatan ini, Mahkamah Syar'iyah Kabupaten Gayo Lues dapat meningkatkan sosialisasi dan edukasi hukum, melibatkan tokoh adat dalam mediasi formal, serta memanfaatkan teknologi untuk layanan mediasi daring. Selain itu, penting untuk memperkuat integrasi antara mediasi adat dan formal melalui kebijakan daerah yang mendukung, serta meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat dengan mengoptimalkan peran hakim mediator dan memastikan netralitas dalam proses mediasi. Di sarankan kepada Mahkamah Syariyah, pemerintah daerah, dan tokoh adat serta agama memperkuat kolaborasi dalam meningkatkan edukasi hukum masyarakat dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai adat dalam prosedur hukum formal, sehingga mediasi dapat menjadi solusi utama dalam penyelesaian perceraian yang damai dan adil.
