Abstract

This study aims to develop children’s creativity in the utilization of group B water hyacinth waste at the Negeri Pembina Kindergarten, Kota Gorontalo, Gorontalo City. The number of children involved as a sample is 24 people who were selected by purposive sampling. This study uses a qualitative approach and data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the development of children’s creativity in the use of water hyacinth waste is classified as good, especially in the three indicators observed, namely (1) originality, (2) fluency, (3) flexibility. The results of this study are expected to add insight to parents and teachers in developing activities to improve children’s creativity.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how teachers can develope fine motor skills in the new normal era for group B aged 5-6 years Berlian Biontong 1 Kindergaten east Bolangitang District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. This study aims to determine the role of techers in developing fine motor skills in the new normal era. This study uses a qualitative method. Dat collection was carried out by observational interviews and documentation. the results of the research on the role of teachers in developing fine motor skills in the new normal era group B aged 5-6 years at Berlian Biontong 1 kindergraten, east Bolangitang District, North Bolaang Monggondow Regency . Namely the role of the teacher as a planner, in the indicator of the teacher’s role as a planner the teacher makes learing refrerences not only using rpph but also making recommendations made from schools to be distributed to parents of students as a reference in developing children’s learning abilities in this case, namely parents and teacher work together in developing children’s learning abillities, in this case, where parents and teachers work together in developing children’s fine motor skills seeing now that they are still in the covid-19 epidemic period. Keywords: teacher role, fine motor in the new normal era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the learning of science in exploratory activities in the school yard for children aged 5-6 years. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a sample of 15 children, consisting of 9 boys and 6 girls. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the interactive model by Miles & Hubberman. The results showed that children's science learning in exploration activities in the school yard for children 5-6 years old at Kartini Kindergarten, Mopusi Village, Lolayan District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency had developed optimally, referring to 3 (three) indicators that were met, namely planning and regulation, plans for security, and a positive attitude that must be built towards scientific activities.

Abstract

This study looks into the complex factors that affect dairy producers in South Bangka's use of agricultural technology. Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to examine the correlations between farmers' knowledge, motivational factors, technology adoption, and demographic characteristics using a sample of 112 farmers. The results highlight the importance of education and adaptability to change by showing a strong positive correlation between demographic characteristics (age, education) and technological adoption. Farmers' knowledge was found to be a crucial element; a substantial positive association suggests that adoption is positively influenced by a deeper understanding of agricultural technologies. Economic incentives and perceived benefits were found to have significant positive connections with technology adoption, indicating the role that perceived benefits play in encouraging the acceptance of new ideas. The model's significant explanatory and predictive ability was validated by the SEM-PLS study, offering a thorough framework for comprehending and improving South Bangka's adoption of technology. The findings highlight the need of a comprehensive strategy that takes into account farmers' goals, experiences, and degree of knowledge in order to promote the adoption of sustainable technologies.

Abstract

Masa kanak-kanak dini adalah masa di mana anak mengalami pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dimulai dari usia 0-6 tahun. Anak-anak tumbuh dengan karakteristik yang berbeda sesuai dengan aspek perkembangan anak. Pada tahap ini, aspek perkembangan anak, termasuk perkembangan sosial-emosional, memiliki peran penting dalam perkembangan anak karena anak belajar berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya, bermain, berbagi, dan bersosialisasi. Tentu saja, mereka harus dibiasakan sejak dini agar anak dapat menghadapi tantangan yang terjadi di sekolah dan lingkungan rumah mereka. Kegiatan sosialisasi yang dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Timbuolo Tengah, Kecamatan Botupinge, Kabupaten Bone Bolango, dihadiri oleh kepala desa beserta stafnya, orang tua murid TK dan guru PAUD serta masyarakat setempat. Kegiatan ini memberikan pemahaman tentang perkembangan sosial emosional anak dalam menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan pra sekolah. Perkembangan adalah proses di mana pertumbuhan berubah seiring waktu, tergantung pada kematangan dan interaksi dengan lingkungan. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak perlu dikembangkan sedini mungkin karena jika sulit untuk berkembang maka anak akan kesulitan berkomunikasi dengan orang lain dan anak akan kesulitan menghadapi tantangan di lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

This collaborative study explores cross-cultural pedagogical perspectives in childhood education through partnerships with scholars from India. This research aims to explore how cultural factors influence teaching methodology, curriculum design, classroom management techniques, and assessment strategies in early childhood education settings. This research involved 15 informants, including education experts, educators, and practitioners from various cultural backgrounds in India, using qualitative research methods such as in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results of this study underscore the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in designing effective pedagogical strategies, as well as the importance of collaborative efforts in fostering cross-cultural understanding and knowledge exchange. This study provides valuable insights and practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and curriculum developers seeking to create culturally responsive and inclusive learning environments for young learner world.wide.

Abstract

Tujuan di lakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pendampinngan orang tua dalam pembelajaran anak dirumah selama masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, subjek penelitian ini adalah orang tua dan guru yang ada di TK-YKSM Kalupapi yang berjumblah lima informan. Analisis data yang di lakukan dengan mendeskripsikan hal-hal yang ditemukan dilapangan dengan data-data yang ditemukan dilapangan yang berhubungan dengan pendampingan orang tua dalam pembelajaran anak dirumah selama masa pandemi covid-19. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: dalam pendampingan anak belajar dirumah selama masa pandemi covid-19 orang tua menyediakan fasilitas belajar anak dirumah, orang tua mengawasi kegiatan belajar anak selama belajar dirumah, orang tua mengawasi penggunaan waktu belajar anak dan orang tua selalu memotivasi anak selama belajar dirumah. Selain itu pula orang tua selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan atau menjaga kesehatan anak selama pandemi, orang tua juga mengalami kendala dalam pendampingan belajar anak dirumah yaitu kesibukan rumah tangga dan faktor ekonomi.

Abstract

Kegiatan kontribusi sosial ini merupakan salah satu bentuk keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam melihat fenomena pandemi covid-19 yang menyebar hingga sampai di Kota Gorontalo selama 2 tahun terakhir ini. Fenomena inilah yang menjadi pemicu bagi mahasiswa untuk peduli dan terlibat langsung dalam mengurangi penyebaran virus covid-19 dengan berkontribusi menjadi relawan vaksinasi covid-19 di Kota Gorontalo, khususnya di Kelurahan Libuo. Pemilihan lokasi ini disebabkan karena tingkat capaian yang telah melakukan vaksin masih dibawah 70% di awal Desember 2021, sedangkan target capaian yang sudah di vaksin dari Pemerintah Kota Gorontalo untuk setiap kelurahan di akhir tahun 2021 diatas 70%. Manfaat vaksinasi covid-19 adalah untuk memperkuat serta melindungi sistem kesehatan secara utuh, juga tetap menjaga dampak sosial budaya dan produktivitas di bidang ekonomi masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan kontribusi sosial terdiri dari tiga langkah utama, adalah: langkah perencanaan awal, langkah proses pelaksanaan, dan langkah terakhir evaluasi. Tujuan program kegiatan sebagai relawan vaksinasi, yaitu turut serta membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan vaksinasi berlangsung sesuai tugas yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa dalam rapat koordinasi dengan Kepala Kelurahan Libuo dalam bentuk membantu memandu acara dan mengedukasi masyarakat. Adanya kerjasama antara berbagai pihak juga berperan serta dalam kesuksesan kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan sumber data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer yaitu yang akan menjadi data utama, dalam hal ini yang menjadi data utama adalah anak dan guru kelas di TK Negeri Mekar Indah Adapun data sekunder yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data peneliti yang diperoleh peneliti secara tidak langsung melalui media perantara yaitu berupa dokumentasi, gambar, arsip laporan sekolah dan buku-buku lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana kepercayaan diri anak. Adapun indicator yang digunakandalam penelitian iniadalah : (1) berani maju di depan kelas; (2) berkomunikasi dengan teman dan guru (3) berani menyampaikan ide/gagasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan sikap percaya diri anak berkembang dengan baik. Sikap percaya diri tersebut tercermin pada ciri-ciri anak yang percaya diri yaitu yakin dengan. Sikap percaya diri tersebut tercermin pada ciri-ciri anak yang percaya diri yaitu kemampuan tampil di depan kelas, berkomunikasi dengan teman/guru dan berani menyampaikan ide/gagasannya.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this research is whether kinetic sand activities affect the fine motor skills of early childhood children aged 4-5 years at TK Melati Kindergarten, Gonggong Village, Banggai Laut Regency. This research aims to determine the effect of kinetic sand activities on the fine motor skills of early childhood children aged 4-5 years. This research is a quantitative study with control and experimental classes at TK Melati Kindergarten, Gonggong Village, Banggai Laut Regency, involving a total of 16 children. Data analysis was performed using statistical data processing. The results showed an increase in the average pre-test score, with a mean of 14.8 and a standard deviation of 2.47. The post-test data showed a mean score of 25.6 and a standard deviation of 3.00. This indicates that the respondents showed average improvement from the initial to final tests. From the significant test results, the tcount = 17.2 while the ttable value at (α) = 0.05 is 0.2 if tcount> ttable; 17.2> 0.2. Thus, H1 is accepted, and H0 is rejected. If tcount> ttable, it means that Kinetic Sand Activities affect the fine motor skills of early childhood 4-5 years at TK Melati Kindergarten, Gonggong Village, Banggai Laut Regency.
