Abstract

Abstract The Maṣlaḥa Mulgha theory developed by Najmuddin al-Ṭūfī is one theory that to this day is considered controversial. At first glance, this theory seems to negate stipulations explained by the text (naṣṣ) in order to uphold truth sourced from the intellect of scholars. Nevertheless, in Indonesia, there are several legal provisions that indirectly reflect the application of al-Ṭūfī’s theory, one of which is the prohibition of interfaith marriage as regulated and reinforced through the interpretation of Q.S. al-Māidah [5]: 5 and Q.S. al-Baqarah [2]: 221. This research aims to examine the existence of al-Ṭūfī's theory and link it to the provisions prohibiting interfaith marriage in Indonesia, with the hope of providing an understanding of its relevance in the process of Islamic legal discovery. This research uses the library research method with the collection of primary, secondary, and tertiary data. The results show that the Mashlahah Mulghah theory can be one option in answering contemporary legal issues that emerge and develop complexly. Thus, the prohibition of interfaith marriage in Indonesia has significant relevance to the application of the Maṣlaḥa Mulgha theory in an applicative and solutive manner. Abstract

This research aimed to analyze and determine employees' digital literacy and intention to adopt e-government at the regional inspectorate of South Sumatra Province. This study used perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as intervening variables that influence an individual's intention to adopt e-government or not, either directly or indirectly. The research employed a quantitative method with data analyzed using SmartPLS version 3. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 80 employees of the Regional Inspectorate of South Sumatra Province using simple random sampling, and responses were measured on a Likert scale. The results indicated that digital literacy did not significantly affect the intention to adopt e-government. However, digital literacy influenced perceived usefulness, which in turn affected the intention to adopt e-government. Additionally, digital literacy affected perceived ease of use, and perceived ease of use influenced the intention to adopt e-government. Ultimately, digital literacy impacted the intention to adopt e-government through perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Kesepian, Mahasiswa Internasional, Studi Fenomenalogis, Bimbigan dan Konseling   Abstract Students who pursue higher education abroad face various academic and non-academic challenges that may affect their psychological well-being. One psychological experience that frequently emerges is loneliness, particularly among students who study far away from their families and home environments. This study aims to explore the psychological dynamics of Indonesian students studying in Thailand, with a specific focus on the experience of loneliness. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The research participant was an Indonesian student currently enrolled in a university in Thailand, selected purposively based on the relevance of their experience to the research focus. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings indicate that loneliness was perceived as a normalized experience and an integral part of the adaptation process. However, it was also accompanied by a strong need for social relationships and emotional support. The participant demonstrated emotional ambivalence and utilized coping strategies through communication with family members. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of guidance and counseling services that are empathetic and responsive to the psychological needs of Indonesian students studying abroad.   Keywords: loneliness, international students, phenomenological study, guidance and counseling

Abstract

Religious moderation is an important issue in religious higher education in Indonesia, especially in State Islamic Religious Universities. In an effort to create an inclusive and tolerant academic environment, scientific integration is one of the strategic approaches. This article aims to analyze the role of scientific integration in strengthening religious moderation on religious campuses in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analyses related to curriculum and learning guidelines at several State Islamic Religious Universities  in Indonesia. The results showed that scientific integration at State Islamic Religious Universities has included aspects of religious moderation, although it is not always explicitly mentioned in the curriculum. Learning materials that combine general science and religious science facilitate the development of moderate attitudes among students. Some indicators of religious moderation found in the curriculum include respect for differences, acceptance of diversity, and strengthening the values of Pancasila as the basis of the state and a guide to life. This study also found that the Indonesian Qualifications Framework based curriculum can strengthen religious moderation if implemented systematically and comprehensively in academic activities, both through learning, research, and community service.
