Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of exemplary education implemented by Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi and its relevance in the context of modern Islamic education. The research methodology employed was literature review to examine sources related to the life and education of Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi. The findings indicate that the exemplary education implemented by Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi has a significant impact on character formation, moral leadership development, and the strengthening of religious identity among students. The implication of this research is the need for the implementation of exemplary education in the context of modern Islamic education to nurture a generation that is of high quality, ethical, and committed to Islamic values. In the complex contemporary era, an education approach based on the exemplariness of Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi can serve as a guide in facing the social, moral, and spiritual challenges encountered by students. By understanding and adopting the principles of traditional Islamic education implemented by Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi, modern Islamic education can enrich educational approaches to produce individuals of dignity, noble character, and commitment to Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The development of communication technology in modern mass media has shown significant progress. However, traditional media still has its own charm. The existence of traditional media remains popular because it not only serves as a means of conveying messages but also as a manifestation of values of belief and cultural heritage that are worth preserving. Therefore, cultural elements such as the village ritual continue to function as one form of traditional media for spreading religious teachings. In addition to conveying religious messages, this ritual also serves as an outlet for escaping the monotony of rapid modernization. As a result, traditional-based media for spreading religious teachings, such as the village ritual, have persisted to this day and received positive acceptance from society.

Abstract

This training program aims to assess the effectiveness of the Ali method in improving the quality of Qur'an learning for TPQ teachers throughout Senggrong Village, Andong District, Boyolali Regency, by integrating the Ali method into their teaching. The approach used in this program combines Participatory Action Research (PAR) and Workshop-Based Training, involving local TPQ teachers as both training participants and practitioners in applying the Ali method. The activities include training sessions, discussions, demonstrations, and intensive mentoring to teach effective and enjoyable methods for learning to read the Qur'an. The training has shown a positive impact, with 50% of participants stating that it was highly beneficial and the remaining 50% finding it moderately helpful in enhancing their Qur'an teaching competence. However, some challenges remain, such as limited initial understanding of the Ali method, time constraints in teaching, and participants' unfamiliarity with this new approach. Overall, the training has successfully improved the quality of Qur'an instruction, but continuous support is needed to ensure the optimal implementation of the Ali method in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas soal aqidah, kemampuan siswa dalam mengerjakannya, serta memetakan tingkat kesulitan soal terhadap kemampuan siswa di MAN 1 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah evaluatif dengan subjek 332 siswa kelas XII, data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi hasil ujian akhir sekolah tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan dianalisis menggunakan Teori Model Rasch dengan bantuan program Winstep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 5 soal tidak akurat (S4, S23, S25, S5, S6) dan 10 soal mengalami bias (S12, S14, S15, S17, S19, S21, S26, S30, S34, S35). Tingkat kesulitan soal terbagi menjadi sangat sulit (2%), sulit (58%), mudah (25%), dan sangat mudah (15%) serta instrumen soal dinyatakan reliabel. Kemampuan siswa terbagi menjadi rendah (13%), sedang (73%), dan tinggi (14%), dengan kemampuan rata-rata siswa berada di atas tingkat kesulitan soal. Soal yang valid direkomendasikan untuk dimasukan dalam bank soal, sementara soal tidak akurat perlu diperbaiki.   Mapping person's ability and the quality of aqidah question items in madrasah aliyah   Abstract: This study aims to describe the quality of aqidah test items, students' ability to answer them, and to map the difficulty level of the items in relation to student ability at MAN 1 Surakarta. This is an evaluative study involving 332 twelfth-grade students. Data were collected through documentation of the final school exam results for the 2022/2023 academic year and analyzed using the Rasch Model Theory with the assistance of the Winstep program. The results showed that five items were inaccurate (S4, S23, S25, S5, S6) and ten items were biased (S12, S14, S15, S17, S19, S21, S26, S30, S34, S35). The difficulty levels of the items were classified as very difficult (2%), difficult (58%), easy (25%), and very easy (15%), and the test instrument was deemed reliable. Student ability was categorized as low (13%), medium (73%), and high (14%), with the average student ability exceeding the average item difficulty. Valid items are recommended for inclusion in the item bank, while inaccurate items need revision.

Abstract

This study aims to produce: 1) a description of the quality of fiqh questions, 2) a description of students' abilities in working on fiqh questions, 3) a map of the level of difficulty of questions with students' abilities in working on fiqh questions at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Surakarta. This study is an evaluation study, the components evaluated are students' abilities and the quality of the questions. The subjects of the study were 332 respondents of class XII students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Surakarta. Data were collected using documentation techniques based on responses to final exam questions for the 2022/2023 school year in the subject of fiqh. Data analysis used the Rasch Model Theory approach with the Winstep program. The results of the study showed that 1) the inaccurate questions were items S5, S6 because they were very easy, items S12, S14, S15, S19 were detected as biased items. 2) The ability of the test participants has variations and varieties as follows: 53 students with very high abilities (16%), 12 students with high abilities (4%), 222 students with low abilities (67%) and 45 students with very low abilities (14%). 3) The level of student ability (average logit 0.06) is above the level of difficulty of the questions (average logit -0.36) meaning that in general the students' abilities exceed the level of difficulty of the questions. The results of the study recommend that valid and reliable questions can be included in the question bank while questions that are inaccurate and contain bias can be further improved.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of using the Quizizz application on student engagement in Fiqh learning at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. This research employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups: the experimental group (using Quizizz) and the control group (using conventional methods). Data were collected through observation and questionnaires, and analyzed using a t-test. The results showed that students in the experimental group were significantly more active than those in the control group. Visual, listening, motor, and verbal participation aspects were more dominant in the experimental group. The use of Quizizz not only increased student motivation and engagement but also made it easier for teachers to conduct real-time assessments. Therefore, Quizizz can serve as an effective technology-based learning strategy to enhance student participation, particularly in subjects that are typically perceived as monotonous.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of commitment to Sharia commands and prohibitions on financial growth and business sustainability among interest-free communities. The research focuses on the impact of commitment to Sharia commands and prohibitions on financial growth, strategic sustainability, and the sustainability of business organizational structures. A quantitative method with a survey design was used, involving a sample of 64 respondents in the Soloraya region. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that commitment to Sharia commands has a positive and significant effect on financial growth, strategic sustainability, and organizational structure. Commitment to Sharia prohibitions also has a positive and significant effect on financial growth and structural sustainability, but not on strategic sustainability. Simultaneously, both types of Sharia commitment have a significant effect on overall business sustainability from financial, strategic, and structural aspects. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive implementation of Sharia principles in maintaining sustainable business practices. This research provides a foundation for the development of Sharia business management and supportive policies for interest-free UMKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model konvensional dan model Index Card Match terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran fiqih di kelas IV-B SD Islam Amanah Ummah Surakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pra-eksperimental. Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV-B yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis. Tes yang dilakukan meliputi: pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 20 soal pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji beda berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar fiqih siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IV-B SD Islam Amanah Ummah Surakarta memperoleh nilai rata-rata 71,9. 2) Hasil belajar fiqih yang diajarkan dengan model Index Card Match di kelas IV-B SD Islam Amanah Ummah memperoleh nilai rata-rata 86,1. Hal ini juga dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis dimana nilai thitung sebesar 5,712 > ttabel 1,7081 dan Sig. nilai (2-tailed) 0,00 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Index Card Match berpengaruh dan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar fiqih siswa kelas IV-B SD Islam Amanah Ummah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis kegiatan apa saja yang dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode diskusi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam pada kelas X1 di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan fokus pada analisis deskriptif, lokasi penelitian di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo, subjek penelitiannya adalah guru pendidikan agama Islam dan siswa kelas X1 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. Metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan tiga langkah, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ceramah dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa, namun masih terdapat jenis aktivitas yang tidak dapat ditingkatkan seperti aktivitas mental dan aktivitas emosional. Metode diskusi dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Dalam diskusi ini rata-rata siswa dapat meningkatkan aktivitasnya dengan menggunakan metode diskusi, sedangkan jenis aktivitas yang dapat ditingkatkan adalah aktivitas visual, aktivitas lisan, aktivitas mendengarkan, aktivitas menulis, aktivitas mental, dan aktivitas emosional.
