Abstract

This research explores students' creativity in solving problems using the TIMSS cognitive domain. This qualitative study employs a descriptive method with two eighth-grade students in Gowa as the research subjects. The selection of subjects is based on their initial mathematical abilities in the eighth grade, and students with high capabilities are grouped accordingly. The instruments used for data collection include a mathematics creativity test and interview guidelines. The study focuses on three aspects of creative thinking abilities: fluency, flexibility, and originality. The result of this study indicates that (1) the subject in the cognitive domain of applying algebraic content, high initial abilities meet the aspects of fluency and flexibility. This meant that obtained creative thinking ability level 3 (creative); (2) in the cognitive domain of reasoning, the subject's algebraic content fulfills the flexibility aspect. This means obtaining creative thinking ability level 2 (creative enough).

Abstract

Single parents often encounter obstacles in educating children at home. Usually due to lack of knowledge and time because they have to work. This study aims to describe the single parent method in shaping the character of religious children in Karduluk Village, Sumenep and it’s implications. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of field research. Collecting data using interviews and non-participant observation. The data analysis technique consists of 3 stages, namely data condensation, data display, and conclusion/verification. The research findings show that: first, the role of single parents in shaping the religious character of children in Karduluk Village, Sumenep is carried out through 3 synergistic approaches, namely the advice approach, the exemplary approach, and the habituation approach; second, the role of single parents in shaping the religious character of children in Karduluk village, Sumenep has implications for 3 main aspects, namely the aspect of faith in the form of increasing confidence in children in the existence of Allah SWT; aspects of worship in the form of children's religious behavior that can be seen from their daily lives both in terms of mahdhah worship and ghairu mahdhah worship; and moral aspects in the form of children's attitudes and behavior that reflect religious values ​​and teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the development process assessment for learning (AfL) instruments on congruence and similarity subjects for grade IX junior high school students; (2) produce an assessment for learning (AfL) instruments on congruence and similarity subjects for grade IX junior high school students that are valid and reliable. This present study is development research involving 126 grade IX students of SMP Islam Athirah 2 Makassar. The results showed that: (1) the process of developing assessment for learning (AfL) instruments on congruence and similarity subject for grade IX junior high school students was carried out through the stages of compiling instrument specifications (including determining the purpose of the instrument, compiling the instrument grid, choosing the shape and format of the instrument, determining the length of the instrument, and determining the instrument scales and scoring systems), writing instruments, reviewing instruments (content validity test and instruments improvement), conducting instrument trials, interpreting measurement results, analyzing instruments (construct validity and reliability tests), and assembling instruments; (2) the results of the development of assessment for learning (AfL) instruments on congruence and similarity subject for grade IX junior high school students consisted of a learning process assessment test, a learning outcome assessment test, and a rubric for assessing cognitive aspects, psychomotor aspects, and affective aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan produksi padi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara menggunakan metode Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) dan membandingkannya dengan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA). Data produksi padi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dari tahun 2018 hingga 2021 dijadikan dasar untuk peramalan tahun 2022. Metode SSA digunakan untuk meramalkan produksi padi, dan hasilnya dibandingkan dengan metode ARIMA untuk menilai akurasi peramalan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model SSA dengan window length (panjang jendela) L=25 merupakan model terbaik untuk meramalkan produksi padi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara selama dua belas bulan ke depan (yi = yiT + yiS). Model ini memiliki nilai Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) sebesar 23,68%, menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dalam meramalkan produksi padi. Perbandingan akurasi peramalan antara metode SSA dan ARIMA menunjukkan bahwa SSA lebih unggul. Akurasi peramalan dengan SSA mencapai 23,68%, sementara ARIMA memiliki MAPE sebesar 48,16%. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa SSA lebih efektif dan akurat dalam meramalkan produksi padi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara dibandingkan dengan ARIMA. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode SSA dapat menjadi pilihan yang lebih tepat dan efektif dalam meramalkan produksi padi di daerah ini. Keakuratan peramalan yang tinggi menunjukkan potensi aplikasi SSA dalam mendukung perencanaan dan pengambilan keputusan terkait produksi padi di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara.

Abstract

Taxes are the main source of state revenue, so efforts to improve taxpayer compliance are important. The purpose of this research is to measure and analyze the effect of modern tax administration system on taxpayer compliance. The research population is the number of taxpayers registered at the Makassar Madya Tax Service Office. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The number of samples is 100 taxpayers. Data collected by questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis. The results showed that the modern tax administration system has a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This service activity aims to explore the potential for utilizing wood waste and rejected palm kernels as alternative fuel for rocket stoves in Petuk Liti Village, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan. The background to this research is the urgent need for alternative energy sources that are cheaper and environmentally friendly, considering the increasing price of LPG gas and the limited access of rural communities to reliable energy sources. Utilizing wood waste and rejected palm kernels as fuel not only offers an economical solution, but also helps in waste management and reducing carbon emissions, which is in line with sustainable development goals. This service involves several important stages, starting from collecting and processing raw materials, developing and testing stoves, as well as the economic and environmental benefits of using alternative fuels. It is hoped that this activity can be implemented more widely in other areas that have limited access to conventional energy, as well as supporting the government's efforts to achieve national energy security and reduce carbon emissions. The output target of this service is to make a significant contribution to the development of renewable energy technology based on local resources, as well as providing a more environmentally friendly and economical alternative for the people of Petuk Liti Village.

Abstract

TiO2-modified and Ni-impregnated bentonite catalysts have been synthesized and characterized to determine their physicochemical properties. Ni(NO3)2.6H2O was used as a precursor for impregnation. The physicochemical properties determined include surface acidity by acid-base titration method, FTIR spectrum, and XRF and XRD data. The highest surface acidity value was obtained from the Ni-TiO2/bentonite catalyst sample of 1.57 mmol/g. The results of FTIR analysis showed that the peak at wave number 3441 cm-1 in TiO2/bentonite shifted to 3458 cm-1 in Ni-TiO2/bentonite. The distribution of bentonite content after being pillared with TiO2 = 8.68% and impregnated with NiO = 0.58%. The success of nickel metal impregnation into the TiO2/bentonite support was obtained from XRD data, which was marked by the appearance of a typical Ni peak at 2θ = 37.70° d = 2.38 Å, 2θ = 39.39° d = 2.28 Å, 2θ = 43.02° d = 2.10 Å, 2θ = 51.38°d = 1.77 Å.

Abstract

Research has been conducted on the synthesis and characterization of Mn-N-TiO2/Bentonite composites for the degradation of organic pollutants. This study aims to synthesize the Mn-N-TiO2/Bentonite composite as a catalyst in degrading congo red in visible light and to determine the effect of irradiation time on the effectiveness of photodegradation of congo red catalyzed Mn-N-TiO2/Bentonite. The synthesis of the Mn-N-TiO2/Bentonite composite was carried out using the sol-gel method. Characterization was carried out with UV-Vis DRS, XRD, FTIR, and SEM-EDX. A photocatalytic activity test on Congo red degradation was carried out using ultraviolet and visible lamps. The results of the characterization of the Mn-N-TiO2/Bentonite configuration show that the band gap energy of Mn-N- TiO2/Bentonite with a variation of 5 g has a band gap energy of 2.14 eV with anatase crystal form. In the IR spectrum, there is a shift in wave number from 1634.49 to 1433.11cm-1, there is the vibration of the NO bond, absorption below 1000 cm-1 indicates the presence of Mn-O bonds, and absorption at wave number 1049.28 cm-1 indicates the presence of ions. manganese metal trapped in the TiO2 matrix. This spectrum indicated the presence of manganese and nitrogen. These results were confirmed by the EDX instrument, which showed the presence of 0.60% Mn and 0.04% N. SEM results show that particles that are still agglomerated and have a large size, which is influenced by water vapor in the TiO2 crystal structure. The results showed that the photodegradation activity increased significantly up to 40.9075% at 30 minutes of irradiation for the Mn-N- TiO2/Bentonite composite and 20.0225% under exposure to ultraviolet light.

Abstract

Penyakit ginjal kronis merupakan abnormalitas yang terjadi pada struktur atau fungsi ginjal selama lebih dari 3 bulan dengan implikasi bagi kesehatan. Penyakit ginjal kronis berkembang ditandai dengan proteinuria, anemia, peradangan, glomerulosklerosis dan fibrosis tubulointerstitial. Peradangan atau inflamasi ditandai dengan peningkatan biomarker sitokin seperti halnya sitokin proinflamasi dan penurunan sitokin anti inflamasi (IL-10). C- Reactive Protein (CRP) digunakan sebagai penanda peradangan karena ekspresi protein ini meningkat dalam kondisi inflamasi. Inflamasi dan dislipidemia merupakan faktor resiko dan menjadi penyebab mortalitas dan morbiditas pada penyakit ginjal kronis. Abnormalitas lipid dalam darah pada penderita penyakit ginjal kronis dicirikan dengan tingginya lipid density lipoprotein (LDL) dan rendahnya high density lipoprotein (HDL), Kolesterol, dan lemak total. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran aerobik pada inflamasi melalui ekspresi IL-6, IL-10, CRP serta profil lipid yaitu LDL dan HDL pada penderita penyakit ginjal kronis. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah literatur review menggunakan data Pubmed dan jurnal pendukung lain berdasarkan pada kriteria profil lipid dan inflamasi pada penderita penyakit ginjal kronis. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan peran latihan aerobik dalam menurunkan CRP, meningkatkan IL-10 dan HDL. Adapun ekspresi IL-6 ditemukan meningkat pada awal proses latihan akibat penipisan glikogen otot dan menunjukkan penurunan setelah proses latihan selama 6 minggu yang menggambarkan proses adaptasi oleh tubuh. Lebih lanjut tidak terdapat peran aerobik yang signifikan terhadap penurunan LDL kecuali pada subkomponen LDL tertentu pada penderita penyakit ginjal kronis.

Abstract

Elektromiogram (EMG) adalah teknologi yang merekam aktivitas listrik otot dan semakin banyak digunakan dalam bidang Sports Science, terutama untuk rehabilitasi cedera olahraga. Artikel ini membahas peran EMG dalam membantu pemulihan cedera atlet melalui pemantauan aktivitas otot secara real-time. Dengan kemampuan untuk mendiagnosis cedera otot dan saraf, memberikan biofeedback, serta menilai teknik latihan, EMG memungkinkan proses rehabilitasi yang lebih akurat dan cepat. Selain itu, EMG berperan penting dalam mencegah cedera ulang dan meningkatkan performa atlet. Penggunaan EMG dalam rehabilitasi cedera seperti ACL telah menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dalam mempercepat pemulihan dan memperbaiki stabilitas otot. Teknologi ini diharapkan terus menjadi elemen kunci dalam pemulihan cedera dan peningkatan performa olahraga di masa depan.
