Abstract

This study aims to examine how bilingual education can improve students' understanding of Aqidah learning through the Arabic language Ushul Tsalatsah book. This study uses a qualitative case study approach to explore bilingual education in Aqidah learning at the Imam Syafi'iy Islamic Boarding School (pesantren) in Bima City. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. Validity testing through triangulation of sources and techniques. The study results show that bilingual education uses the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach. Learning planning depends on the experience and understanding of the ustadz (teacher) without a formal learning plan. Core activities are carried out by students reading, analysing, and discussing Arabic-Indonesian texts alternately. Students receive explanations in two languages to facilitate understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This step effectively improves students' understanding of Aqidah and Arabic language skills. The ustadz, as a facilitator, provides feedback to create dynamic and responsive learning. The CLIL method in bilingual education has successfully improved understanding of religious material and language mastery. This study's novelty lies in applying the CLIL approach in bilingual education through dynamic and responsive bilingual education. The study's limitations were due to the selection of the research location of only one Islamic boarding school and using qualitative methods so that the findings could not be generalised to other Islamic boarding schools. Further research suggests exploring the impact of digital technology in supporting bilingual education in Salafi Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Desa Tamekan adalah salah satu pengahasil Kacang Tanah terbesar di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Hasil panen petani kacang selalu berlimpah mencapai dua kali panen dalam setahun dengan total luas lahan sekitar 7 ha dan hasil panen 11 ton per tahun. Meskipun demikian, selama ini para petani masih menjual kacang dalam bentuk mentah dan harga yang sangat rendah. Masyarakat setempat juga belum memanfaatkan ketersediaan kacang untuk diolah dalam bentuk produk pangan lainnya yang menjanjikan peluang usaha. Oleh karena itu, kelompok mahasiswa KKN Universitas Cordova mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap petani kacang dan ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengolah kacang tanah menjadi produk olahan unggulan Desa Tamekan yang siap untuk dipasarkan. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menghasilkan produk dari kacang meningkat secara signifikan. Adapun hasil olahan kacang tanah yang berhasil di produksi adalah kacang kribo dan kacang salut dan saat ini produk tersebut sudah dipasarkan di beberapa toko di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat salah satunya di KSB Mall

Abstract

The study aims to examine: (1) the influence of employability skills on the students’ work readiness at SMKN 2 Gowa; (2) the influence of self-efficacy on the students’ work readiness at SMKN 2 Gowa; and (3) the influence of employability skills and self-efficacy on the students’ work readiness t SMKN 2 Gowa. The type of research used is quantitative using the Ex-post Facto method. The research samples were 184 students of grade XII. Data collection techniques employed questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, analysis prerequisite test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study reveal that (1) there is an influence of employability skills on the students’ work readiness at SMKN 2 Gowa; (2) there is an influence of self-efficacy on the students’ work readiness at SMKN 2 Gowa; and (3) there is an influence of employability skills and self-efficacy collectively on the students’ work readiness at SMKN 2 Gowa.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental research with the aim of 1. Knowing the application of the kahoot game 2. Knowing whether there is an effect of implementing the Kahoot Game in Improving Learning Outcomes in Class X Graphic Design Subject at SMKT Sombaopu 3. Knowing student responses to the kahoot game. This study consisted of two variables, namely the Kahoot Game media as the independent variable and student learning outcomes as the dependent variable, using the Pretest and Posttest Control Group Design research designs. The population in this study were all students of class X TKJ consisting of 2 classes with a total of 34. The research sample was class X TKJ 1 as a control class with 17 students and X TKJ 2 as an experimental class with 17 students selected through Simple Random. sampling. The data obtained were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that in the experimental class with the Kahoot Game learning media, the average pretest and posttest were 74.35 and the pretest was 74.35, while the learning using the lecture method obtained the average pretest was 34.59 and the posttest was 57.18, while the control class students' mastery was 6. % and 82% experimental class. The average result of the n-gain test for the experimental class was 0.46 and that for the control class was 0.3. The average effectiveness of the control class was 33.62 and the experimental class was 46.88. The results of inferential statistical testing with the Independent Samples T-Test obtained a significance value for the pretest and posttest p = 0.000 <α = 0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, thus the kahoot game learning media influences student learning outcomes in Class X Graphic Design Subject at SMKT Sombaopu. Student response test as many as 34 people get a score of 4.30 with a presentation of 86.14% in a very interesting category.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Describe the stages of developing an online educational game media design with a gamification platform in informatics subjects in junior high schools, (2) Develop an online educational game media with a gamification platform in informatics subjects in junior high schools that is valid for use based on experts, (3) Developing online educational game media with a gamification platform in informatics subjects in junior high schools that is practical for use in the classroom, (4) Developing online educational game media with a gamification platform in informatics subjects in junior high schools which effective in completing learning achievements. The type of research used is research & Development. The research sample consisted of 40 class VII students at UPT SMP Negeri 3 Mattirobulu. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and observations. The research results are: (1) Developing online educational game media with a gamification platform at State Junior High School 3 Mattirobulu include in 5 stages that is, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation, (2) Online educational game media with a gamification platform is declared valid for use based on scores from media experts with an average score of 88.8 and material experts with an average score of 90.3 with both being in very valid criteria, (3) Online Educational Game Media with a Gamification Platform is declared practical to use based on the average results from teachers assestment was 87.2 and from students was 84.2, both of which were in the very practical category, and (4) Online Educational Game Media with a gamification platform effectively improved student learning outcomes as seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test resulting in N-Gain high scores that has 0.72 which is in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan butir soal hasil evaluasi belajar pada mata pelajaran informatika berbasis CBT. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan dengna menggunakan pengembangan model ADDIE. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji realibilitas dan analisis deskripsi, serta uji t-Test: paired Two Sample untuk membandingkan nilai yang diperoleh sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) butir soal evaluasi hasil belajar dikembangankan melalui 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi; (2) respon siswa dan guru setelah menggunakan instrumen penilaian secara kesuluruhan sangat baik. Instrumen yang digunakan dinilai mampu mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan menyajikan keberagaman dalam tingkat kesulitan dan jenis pertanyaan; (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai siswa sebelum dan setelah intervensi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the general description of spatial visual intelligence of students from grade VII of SMP in solving solid figure flat side problems based on the initial ability level of geometry. This research used Hass Theory which classifies the characteristics of spatial visual intelligence based of imagining, conceptualizing, problem solving, and problem seeking. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The research subjects were 3 students. The first subject has high initial ability in geometry, the second subject has moderate initial ability, and the third subject has low initial ability. The research instrument used consists of the initial ability of geometry test questions, spatial visual intelligence of solid figure flat side test questions, and interview guidelines. The research result showed that: (1) The most dominant characteristic that appears in students was the characteristic of problem seeking and imagining, while the least dominant characteristic was problem solving. (2) Subjects who had high initial ability of geometry was able to fulfill 3 spatial visual intelligence characteristics, those were imagining, conceptualizing, and problem seeking. (3) Subjects who had moderate initial ability of geometry was able to fulfill 2 spatial visual intelligence characteristics, those were imagining and problem seeking. (4) Subjects who had low initial ability of geometry was not able to fulfill all the characteristics of spatial visual intelligence.

Abstract

Mathematical thinking ability, particularly the high level of mathematical thinking (high-order mathematical thinking) badly needed by students in order to make students able to confront changes in circumstances or challenges they have in life is always developing. This study aims to describe the mathematical analysis of the critical thinking ability of students in SMA Negeri 5 Wajo.This research was qualitative with the descriptive approach. The subject in this study using a XII IPA 1 grade in SMA Negeri 5 Wajo reviewed from an initial capability that add up to 3 people. The subject is taken using the test ability early, then the subject is given a test of mathematical and critical thinking abilities were interviewed. Test data of mathematical and critical thinking abilities interview each of the subject is described.On the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the ability of critical thinking, analysis of the mathematical ability of students beginning by using Graded Response Model (GRM) noted that the ability of the initial of the high, medium and low indicating the same mathematics critical thinking ability in stages an average between 1,00 to -1,00

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan 6 subjek siswa SMA kelas XI MIPA 2 berdasarkan kemampuan awal matematika yang dari hasil tes tersebut dikelompokkan menjadi kemampuan awal tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Selanjutnya, dipilih masing-masing dua siswa untuk dijadikan subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan matematika, tes kemampuan awal matematika dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis tes kemampuan matematika mengacu pada tiga aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu fluency, flexibility, dan novelty. Adapun hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa (1) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal tinggi memperoleh tingkat 3, karena memenuhi 2 (dua) aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu kefasihan (fluency) dan keluwesan (flexibility);(2) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal sedang memperoleh tingkat 3, karena memenuhi 2 (dua) aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu kefasihan (fluency) dan kebaruan (novelty);(3) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal rendah memperoleh tingkat 1, karena memenuhi 1 (satu) aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu kefasihan (fluency).

Abstract

This research aims to describe students’ mathematics conceptual understanding understanding with topics exponential considered of the intensity of using quipper video. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study were randomly selected one for the category of high intensity, one medium intensity, and one low intensity. The data collection techniques by giving intensity questionnaires use quipper video, understanding concept tests, and interviews then through three stages of data analysis, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that understanding mathematical concepts: (1) Subjects with high intensity of using quipper video were unable to understand the concept in indicators apply concepts or algorithms to problem solving. (2) Subjects with medium intensity of using quipper video are able to restate the concept, classify objects according to certain characteristics in accordance with the concept, use and utilize certain procedures or operations, apply concepts or algorithms to problem solving, provide examples and not examples, present concepts in various mathematical representations, and develop necessary requirements or sufficient requirements from a concept.(3) subject with low intensity of using quipper video did not understand the concept in indicator restating the concept, , provide examples and not examples,and develop necessary requirements or sufficient requirements from a concept.
