Abstract

This study examines the pedagogical value of the Aptitude–Treatment Interaction (ATI) learning model in supporting higher-order evaluative thinking skills (C5) within Islamic Religious Education (IRE). A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group was employed to compare learning outcomes between students taught using the ATI model and those taught through a conventional expository approach at SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results indicated no statistically significant difference in evaluative learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups (p = 0.279). Nevertheless, classroom implementation revealed that the ATI model enhanced student engagement, participation, and motivation by aligning instructional treatments with students’ aptitude levels. These findings suggest that the instructional benefits of ATI may not be fully reflected through outcome-based statistical comparisons alone, particularly when assessing complex cognitive processes such as evaluative thinking. The theoretical contribution of this study lies in extending the ATI framework to higher-order cognitive assessment (C5) within IRE, an area that has received limited empirical attention. Rather than functioning solely as an outcome-enhancing model, ATI is positioned as an adaptive instructional mechanism that supports differentiated learning processes and meaningful engagement in value-oriented subjects.

Abstract

Planning is at the heart of Islamic education development because it determines the direction, quality, and sustainability of educational institutions. However, in practice, the planning process is often time-consuming, resource-intensive, and poorly data-driven. This study aims to analyze the concept of Islamic education planning, the impact of time constraints and resource constraints on planning effectiveness, and the role and urgency of data in accelerating the planning process. The study used a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The results indicate that data-driven planning can improve time efficiency, resource optimization, and the quality of decision-making in Islamic education. Data and databases serve as an objective basis for needs analysis, priority setting, and ongoing evaluation. Thus, data-driven planning serves as a strategic instrument in realizing professional, transparent, and quality-oriented Islamic education governance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and its impact on student understanding. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach implemented at SMK Swadhipa 2 Natar. The research subjects consisted of PAI teachers as the main informants and Grade 11 TKJ 1 students as supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In testing the validity of the data, triangulation was used, with triangulation techniques and triangulation sources. The results of the study indicate that PAI teachers play an important role as facilitators and motivators in the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model. Teachers design contextual problems, organize discussion activities, guide group investigations, and provide motivation and reinforcement to students during the learning process. The implementation of PBL can encourage students to be more active, critical, and involved in PAI learning. Student understanding has increased, especially in the ability to explain material, relate concepts to everyday life, and conclude the Islamic values ​​​​learned. However, the implementation of PBL still faces several obstacles, such as differences in student engagement and limited learning time. The role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing the Problem-Based Learning model has positively contributed to improving student understanding. This research is expected to serve as a reference for teachers in developing innovative and contextual Islamic Religious Education learning strategies

Abstract

The global ecological crisis demands organizational behavior transformation in the public sector, particularly in religious institutions like Indonesia's Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), which hold strong moral legitimacy in society. This study examines the influence of ecotheological value internalization (INE) encompassing ecological-spiritual identity, transcendental meaning in bureaucracy, collective stewardship commitment, and ethical ecological decision-making on green organizational behavior (GOCB/POH), namely voluntary actions such as eco-initiatives, green advocacy, and interpersonal eco-helping. Employing an explanatory quantitative design, the research surveyed 385 civil servants (ASN) at the Palembang City Kemenag Office via proportionate stratified random sampling, using validated Likert-scale questionnaires (Cronbach's α = 0.85–0.92). Simple linear regression analysis with IBM SPSS version 32 revealed a positive and significant effect of INE on GOCB (R = 0.507; R² = 0.257; β = 0.519; t = 11.51; p < 0.001), explaining 25.7% of GOCB variance. These findings reinforce the Value-Belief-Norm (VBN) theory and workplace ecospirituality adaptation in Islamic religious bureaucracy contexts, with practical implications for integrating INE into Kemenag's vision-mission to accelerate green bureaucracy aligned with SDGs and Asta Protas. The cross-sectional design's limitations suggest future longitudinal research.

Abstract

Learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) remains suboptimal in many Indonesian junior high school contexts, primarily attributable to the dominance of conventional, lecture-based instructional approaches that fail to foster affective engagement and intrinsic student motivation.This study examined the effectiveness of the Synectics, Mind Maps, and Cooperative Learning (SM2CL) integrated model in enhancing seventh-grade students' learning interest—specifically the 'feeling of enjoyment' indicator—in PAI instruction at SMP Negeri 31 Bandar Lampung. A quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design was employed, involving 62 seventh-grade students allocated to an experimental class receiving SM2CL instruction (n = 30, Class VII C) and a control class receiving conventional instruction (n = 32, Class VII D). Data were collected using a validated 15-item learning interest questionnaire (Cronbach's α = 0.842) and subjected to normality (Shapiro–Wilk), homogeneity (Levene), and independent-samples t-test analyses. Statistical analysis revealed no statistically significant difference between the two groups (t = −0.414; df = 60; p = .681), with posttest means of M = 50.60 (SD = 7.70) and M = 51.40 (SD = 7.90) for the experimental and control classes, respectively. Sub-dimensional analysis of the enjoyment indicator similarly yielded negligible between-group differences across all five thematic clusters. Although SM2CL theoretically integrates three complementary pedagogical frameworks—Synectics, Mind Maps, and Cooperative Learning—its implementation in this context did not produce significant gains in students' learning interest. Structural constraints including limited affective readiness, habituation to didactic instruction, and inadequate learning infrastructure are identified as primary moderating factors. These findings contribute to the contextual literature on innovative PAI instruction and underscore the necessity of adaptive implementation strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan disrupsi pendidikan dan maraknya disinformasi keagamaan yang menuntut inovasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang tidak hanya berorientasi kognitif, tetapi juga integratif terhadap nilai-nilai Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan model inovasi pembelajaran PAI melalui Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis nilai Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis library research dengan teknik analisis isi terhadap berbagai literatur relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PBL berbasis nilai Islam dapat direkonstruksi ke dalam lima tahapan utama, yaitu orientasi masalah, pengorganisasian belajar, investigasi, pengembangan solusi, dan refleksi nilai yang terintegrasi dengan prinsip-prinsip keislaman. Model ini mampu memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta internalisasi nilai moral dan spiritual peserta didik. Pembahasan menegaskan bahwa integrasi nilai Islam dalam PBL menjadi pembeda utama dari model konvensional karena menggabungkan dimensi kognitif, afektif, dan spiritual secara holistik. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa model PBL berbasis nilai Islam berkontribusi secara konseptual dalam pengembangan pembelajaran PAI yang kontekstual, adaptif, dan berorientasi karakter, meskipun masih memerlukan pengujian empiris lebih lanjut.

Abstract

Penyalahgunaan narkotika di Indonesia menunjukkan perkembangan yang semakin kompleks seiring dengan munculnya jenis narkotika baru, salah satunya narkotika jenis tembakau sintetis yang mengandung senyawa AB-CHMINACA. Senyawa ini termasuk dalam kelompok synthetic cannabinoid yang memiliki efek psikoaktif menyerupai ganja, namun dengan tingkat potensi dan risiko yang jauh lebih tinggi. Keberadaan tembakau sintetis menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri dalam penegakan hukum karena bentuk dan cara peredarannya sulit dikenali serta sering kali belum sepenuhnya dipahami oleh masyarakat. Kondisi tersebut berimplikasi pada proses pembuktian unsur tindak pidana serta penerapan pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap pelaku. Adapun permasalahan ini yaitu faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya penyalahgunaan narkotika jenis tembakau sintetis (AB-CHMINACA) dalam mengkaji pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap pelaku berdasarkan Putusan Nomor 665/Pid.Sus/2025/PN Tjk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif dan pendekatan empiris. Pendekatan yuridis normatif dilakukan dengan mengkaji peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan narkotika, khususnya Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, serta putusan pengadilan yang relevan. Pendekatan empiris dilakukan untuk melengkapi data melalui informasi dari aparat penegak hukum yang berkaitan dengan penanganan perkara narkotika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya penyalahgunaan narkotika jenis tembakau sintetis dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain faktor kepribadian dan rasa ingin tahu, faktor lingkungan sosial dan pergaulan, faktor ekonomi, serta faktor kemudahan memperoleh bahan baku dan peredaran melalui media sosial.Selain itu, pertanggungjawaban pidana terhadap pelaku dalam Putusan Nomor 665/Pid.Sus/2025/PN Tjk telah didasarkan pada pemenuhan unsur-unsur tindak pidana narkotika serta didukung oleh alat bukti yang sah. Penerapan ketentuan pidana dalam putusan tersebut dinilai telah mencerminkan upaya penegakan hukum yang memberikan kepastian hukum, keadilan, dan kemanfaatan dalam penanggulangan tindak pidana narkotika.
