Abstract

This writing has the main objective of knowing the leadership role of the principal in improving the quality of education. The quality of education is our hope in facing the exchange of life that in several sectors, especially in the field of education sector for a better future. In order to realize quality education, this needs to be done leadership role in educational institutions. One of them is the principal because of that is a pioneer who drives all changes towards quality education. The research method used is the qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and data triangulation, while the informants in this study were the principal, deputy principal and two teachers. The results showed that the principal of SMP 5 Tondano had carried out his role well in terms of quality planning, quality control and quality improvement of education at SMP 5 Tondano.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to the material "Properties of Liquid Objects" in class III of SD Negeri 1 Ayong. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which was carried out over 2 cycles. Each research cycle consists of 4 (four) stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection with the aim of comparing the values ​​before action and after action. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests, observation sheets of teacher activities and student activities. The research subjects were 14 class III students at SDN 1 Ayong. The data analysis technique used is the percentage calculation data analysis technique. There was an increase in learning outcomes using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method on the properties of liquids for class III students at SD Negeri 1 Ayong. This is proven in the increase in scores from the initial test of the 14 students who completed the KKM, there were 6 students or 43% while there were still 8 students or 57% who had not completed it. In Cycle I, of the 14 students who completed it, 8 students or 57% and 6 students who had not completed it, which means 43%. In cycle II, all 14 students completed it or 100%. So it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method can improve student learning outcomes in science subjects, especially class III at SD Negeri 1 Ayong.

Abstract

The Free Learning Curriculum is a policy of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which aims to optimize the existing curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze teacher readiness in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The research method is a case study involving two teachers and a principal at the Merdeka Belajar curriculum implementing elementary school. This research was collected based on interviews, observations and documentation. Then it is analyzed through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study show that teacher readiness in implementing the independent learning curriculum in elementary schools is quite optimal. The obstacle factor for elementary school teachers in implementing the independent learning curriculum is the lack of understanding of the independent learning curriculum between teachers and parents. And the facilities and infrastructure are inadequate, and need support from various parties

Abstract

The teaching and learning process has changed as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. Online learning is applied to limit human contact, especially children who belong to vulnerable groups. The reality is that learning online for only a hour each day becomes quite ineffective when considering the variety of courses offered. Informal schooling is critical during the Covid-19 outbreak. Education among the smallest community groups is critical for decreasing Covid-19 transmission. The goal of this research is to examine parenting styles among children and teenagers in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak in Bitung City's Girian District. The method used in this research is a cross sectional study. The activity carried out in Girian District, Bitung City on the Socialization of Child and Teenagers Parenting in Girian Atas Village which is conducted in every month with different materials. The population in this study were 363 peoples. The data used was secondary data (report on the implementation of the Child and Teenagers Parenting Competition (PAAR)). The results showed that the Socialization of Parenting Patterns for Children and Teenagers in Girian Atas Village through various materials that had been implemented contributed to parenting patterns for children and teenagers. This is shown by the decline in juvenile delinquency cases before the Parenting of Children and Teenagers in 2019-2020 and cases of School Dropouts before the Parenting of Children and Teenagers in 2019-2020.

Abstract

Character education in Indonesia has been a crucial issue for more than two last decades. It has become the state priority in the national education policy for its character education reinforcement programs. This study aims to investigate the character education management in SMA Catholic Seminary Kakaskasen and SMA Lokon St. Nikolaus Tomohon. This is a multi-site study to examine and describe the planning (designing), actualization (implementation), and evaluating and monitoring procedures of their character education model. This study applied a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings indicate effective measures to manage their character education programs.

Abstract

Angry behavior is an angry emotional response to a stimulus from the environment that is not in accordance with the wishes and is vented into negative actions to express emotions. Emotions play an important role in teenagers' social lives. As individuals who are growing and developing, teenagers tend to be irritable, irritable, easily discouraged, and prone to exploding when they feel offended. Therefore, it is important to develop the ability to manage angry emotions in adolescents. This ability to manage angry emotions is called emotional regulation. Emotional regulation is an individual's ability to accept, control and respond to emotions in an appropriate manner when under pressure. This research aims to analyze anger behavior and emotional regulation seen in adolescent gender in Toundanouw Atas Village, Southeast Minahasa. The research method used in this research was quantitative approach is a type of comparative research. The samples taken in this research were 55 people. Based on the results of data analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the difference in the tendency for angry behavior and emotional regulation in male and female adolescents is in high levels of angry behavior and low emotional regulation, which means that there is no difference in the tendency for angry behavior and emotional regulation in adolescent boys. men and women in Upper Toundanouw Village, Southeast Minahasa. The samples taken in this research were 55 people. Abstract

This study discusses Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak and examines the current state of research. These findings will provide insight for further research and experimental opportunities aligned with Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak. Many data, models and innovations regarding Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak have been published in different and complex ways. This has explained the overall picture of Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak. This study aims to analyze and identify data sets, research trends, and methods that have been used since 2010. We used a systematic literature review method. We carry out the process of identifying, assessing and interpreting research evidence and reviewing the literature to answer specific research questions. We analyzed by selecting the main study in Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak. We have mapped trends, datasets, and methods in Holistic Education with a Sekolah Penggerak that has been implemented. This study concludes that we have successfully identified and analyzed research trends in Holistic Education with a School of Mobilization measurably and systematically in the last 12 years.

Abstract

The purpose of the researchers in making this literature review is to obtain information related to the use of android-based practical applications in educational evaluation so that they can be implemented at Manado State University. The method in making this study uses a systematic literature review approach which requires researchers to use scientific-based findings literature. Based on the studies that have been carried out by the researcher, some information is obtained regarding the use of practical android-based applications that are suitable for use in educational evaluations, including (1) the Quizzme application for evaluating android-based student learning at the junior high school level, (2) the Application for Assessment of Productive Subject Practices for Vocational High School Students Android-based at SMK 45 Wonosari, (3) Android-based sign language learning and evaluation. These three studies are suitable to be applied in educational evaluation at Manado State University to replace PBT which is not effective for use today

Abstract

Implementation of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) in institutions' education tall become more important for increasing the quality service of information technology. However, ITIL implementation requires a role important from leadership to ensure its success. Study This aims to analyze the role of leadership in the implementation of ITIL Service Strategy in high-education institutions. This study uses a method descriptive with do survey of IT staff at several universities. Data analyzed use the technique of qualitative and its results show that leadership owns an influence and positive significance in the implementation of ITIL Service Strategy in higher education institutions. this article gives an important view for university leadership to increase the quality service of information technology and ensure the successful implementation of the ITIL Service Strategy in institutions. This Study has implications for the organization in framework reach objective strategic in management service of information technology and ensure that ITIL framework can be used with more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Education in the industrial era 4.0 is a considerable challenge, because in order to realize good management in education to form leadership, adjustments to the curriculum, learning systems, supporting facilities and infrastructure and good human resources are needed. Not only that, in the industrial era, we must be able to build partnerships with various stakeholders to realize good management. Industry 4.0 can create artificial intelligence where the characteristics or behavior of a human being can be included in the application, so that humans are required to adapt to the current conditions of development.
