Abstract

Santri as human resources and are the main factor supporting prosperity in facing the era of society 5.0. The condition of santri who are living in the boarding school is not as beautiful as imagined, especially new santri who have just arrived in the boarding school environment. Judging from their young age, then separated from their parents and living with other people and not in their residential environment, all of these are very difficult situations and conditions for new santri to go through. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the mudabbir guidance strategy to motivate new santri in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School? And What is the form of motivation for new santri in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School? The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to identify a picture or variable, or several variables, without drawing comparisons or relationships between these variables and other factors with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The research results that researchers obtained in the field were; First, related to the strategy of mudabbir guidance to motivate new students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, West Lombok, are 1) submitting memorization, 2) giving appreciation, and 3) providing control. Then the form of motivation for new students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, West Lombok, is 1) enthusiasm, 2) discipline, and 3) memorization according to target.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk interferensi bahasa Bajo Bugis dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, khususnya pada keterampilan membaca siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Keruak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interferensi terjadi pada aspek fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, dan semantik. Interferensi fonologi tampak pada pengucapan kata yang mengikuti pola bahasa ibu, sementara interferensi morfologi terlihat dari penambahan imbuhan lokal. Pada aspek sintaksis, siswa cenderung menggunakan urutan kata yang sesuai dengan struktur bahasa Bajo Bugis, sedangkan pada aspek semantik, siswa sering menerjemahkan secara literal yang menyebabkan kesalahan makna. Interferensi ini berdampak pada pemahaman teks bacaan siswa yang cenderung kurang akurat. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih kontekstual dan kontrastif agar siswa mampu membedakan secara jelas antara sistem bahasa ibu dan bahasa Inggris yang dipelajari.

Abstract

The need for electricity is good for the industry, offices, and public and individuals are greatly increased. However, the increase in demand for electricity is not accompanied by the additional power supply. Based on these problems, chosen solar energy as an alternative energy to generate electric power. A tool that is used here is the solar cell because it can directly convert solar radiation into electrical energy (photovoltaic process). So that solar energy can be used at night, then during the day, the electrical energy generated is stored before a battery which is controlled by the regulator. Regulator output is directly connected to the inverter from the DC to AC. The test results of solar modules (photovoltaic) indicated that the results of the average power output reached 38.24 Watt, and the currents were 2.49 A.  This is because the photovoltaic follows the direction of movement of the sun and always located at the photovoltaic to remain facing the sun. Therefore, it will still be able to capture the radiant sun to the fullest.

Abstract

For the sake of the smooth process of cement production, it is necessary to maintain each component of the production. One of the tools that play an important role in the maintenance and production of cement is the Overhead Traveling Crane, which is a combination of a separate lifting mechanism with a frame to lift and move loads that can be hung freely or attached to the crane itself. The problems that arise in the Overhead Traveling Crane include the reverse direction of the motor rotation due to an error in the motor connection, the motor cannot start due to a disconnected power supply, the occurrence of bending (curving) on ​​the girder due to lifting operations that exceed the maximum capacity which can also accelerate service life. of the girder, wear on the wheel due to high workload during operation. Due to the need for very long use, periodic maintenance is needed so that it can be in normal condition for a long time. The main parts that support the overall weight of the crane are rails and wheels. This journal discusses the analysis of failures that occur due to contact between rails and wheels that occur in a cement factory. Failure analysis is done by testing the hardness of both the wheel and the rely which is considered to have failed or is no longer suitable for use. Then review the results of direct field observations with data from hardness tests and literature studies related to wheels and rails. after that it was concluded that the company considered for the procurement of rails and wheels. The conclusion obtained is that the hardness value on the rail is lower than on the wheel. Resulting in failure of the rail so that the rail must be replaced.

Abstract

One of the tests used to determine the mechanical properties of metals is the tensile test. The results obtained from the tensile test are crucial for engineering and product design as they provide data on the strength of materials. AISI 1045 carbon steel is an alloy steel composed of iron (Fe) and carbon (C), where iron is the base element and carbon is the main alloying element. Carbon steel is also used in the manufacturing of helical/coil springs (Mobil Alvanza 2020). Coil springs are widely used in the front suspension of modern light vehicles. A new approach to fatigue prediction based on a combination of FE simulation using ABAQUS is opposed in this study. In this research, the tensile test was performed using experimental and ABAQUS simulation methods. The experimental results showed a yield strength of 350.25 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of 560.4 MPa, while the ABAQUS simulation results showed a yield strength of 356.05 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of 560.39 MPa

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop coil heater technology as an alternative heat source to replace wood in the brick-firing process. The research methodology involves the design of an efficient and environmentally friendly coil heater and its implementation in the brick production process. In this study, the performance of the coil heater is analyzed to ensure that the generated heat is sufficient for the brick-firing requirements. The research findings indicate that coil heater technology is capable of providing the necessary heat to achieve optimal temperatures in the brick-firing process. Furthermore, the use of this coil heater technology successfully reduces dependence on wood as the primary fuel source. The implementation of coil heater technology in the brick-making industry is expected to make a positive contribution to the environment and the sustainability of natural resources. This research stimulates innovation in the development of alternative technologies that can reduce carbon footprints and improve the overall efficiency and sustainability of brick production processes.

Abstract

The distribution system of electrical power begins from generation and is transmitted to the load, namely consumers. In this distribution, it must be effective, efficient, and reliable. The amount of electrical power reaching the load is not the same as the amount of power generated due to voltage drop or power losses. This research aims to determine the magnitude of power losses in the medium-voltage distribution network located in Pasar Aceh. The research method employed is the analysis and simulation calculation method using ETAP 12.6 software. The study analyzes power losses due to load imbalance in the JTR distribution substation of Pasar Aceh. Based on the analysis results, the load imbalance in the Pasar Aceh substation has led to power losses. The power losses in the Pasar Aceh substation, specifically at the Side Transformer of Pasar Aceh, are 0.77% with a load imbalance of 16.33%. For the second transformer in the BNI 46 area, the power losses are 0.98% with a load imbalance of 30.33%, and for the transformer in the BLKG KOTTY area, the power losses are 1.17% with a load imbalance of 50.33%. Therefore, the larger the percentage of load imbalance in an electrical distribution network, the greater the resulting power losses.

Abstract

This experimental study examines the impact of speed variations on the 2.5 mm nozzle diameter in low-carbon steel laser cutting. The primary objective is to optimize the roundness of the cut by considering cutting speed factors. Through a series of experiments conducted on low-carbon steel plates measuring 200 mm x 200 mm, utilizing a 2.5 mm nozzle diameter with speed variations of 2, 3, and 4 m/minute, the research measures roundness quality using a digital caliper. Results indicate that cutting speed influences roundness quality, with the lowest deviation observed at a speed of 2 m/minute and the highest at 3 m/minute. The study also highlights that increased cutting speed and the use of a larger nozzle require higher gas pressure.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine 1) how high the social environment of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Kuansing Regency, 2) how high the consumptive behavior of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Kuansing Regency, 3) whether the social environment has any impact on the consumptive behavior of adolescents in Pulau Panjang Kuansing Regency The data collection methods of this research are 1) documentation, 2) observation and 3) questionnaire. The results of this study obtained a high or low level of adolescent social environment in Pulau Panjang Kuansing Regency. There is a significant positive influence between the influence of the social environment on adolescent consumptive behavior in Pulau Panjang Kuansing Regency, it will also be higher by 88.2%. Abstrak: Telaah eksperimen ini bertujuan guna menyadari 1) seberapa tinggi lingkungan sosial remaja di Kampung Pulau Panjang Kuansing, 2) seberapa tinggi perilaku konsumtif remaja di Kampung Pulau Panjang Kuansing, 3) apakah terdapat Pengaruh Lingkungan Sosial Terhadap Perilaku Konsumtif Remaja Di Kampung Pulau Panjang Kuansing. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu 1) dokumentasi, 2) observasi dan 3) kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini Diperoleh tingkat tinggi atau rendahnya Lingkungan Sosial Remaja Kampung Pulau Panjang Kuansing diperoleh efek positif yang berarti antaraa Pengaruh Area Kemasyarakatan Atas Sikap Konsumtif Remaja di Kampung Pulau Panjang Kuantan Singingi maka akan semakin tinggi pula sebesar 88,2%.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to see how much the role of parents in fostering a culture of literacy in early childhood. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of parents in fostering a culture of literacy in early childhood in Bagan Timur Village, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This study is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Bagan Timur Village, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, where data collection was carried out using documentation, observation and interviews involving 3 (three) informants as research subjects. Furthermore, to find and compile data, data analysis techniques were used in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of this research is The reading ability of children in Bagan Timur Village shows significant improvement thanks to the active role of parents in supporting the learning process. Children can recognize letters and understand simple meanings. Good reading habits develop through routines implemented by parents. Children who are accustomed to reading regularly tend to have a higher interest in reading. Children's intrinsic motivation to read increases when parents create a fun atmosphere during reading and provide emotional support. This shows that parental involvement is very influential in shaping children's reading interest and habits. Abstrak: Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat seberapa peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran orang tua dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi pada anak usia dini di Desa Bagan Timur Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bagan Timur Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir yang  pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan  menggunakan dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara dengan melibatkan 3 (tiga) informan sebagai subjek penelitian. Seterusnya untuk mencari dan menyusun data digunakan teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni Kemampuan membaca anak-anak di Desa Bagan Timur menunjukkan kemajuan yang signifikan berkat peran aktif orang tua dalam mendukung proses belajar. Anak-anak dapat mengenali huruf dan memahami makna sederhana. Kebiasaan membaca yang baik berkembang melalui rutinitas yang diterapkan oleh orang tua. Anak-anak yang dibiasakan untuk membaca secara rutin cenderung memiliki minat baca yang lebih tinggi. Motivasi intrinsik anak untuk membaca meningkat ketika orang tua menciptakan suasana menyenangkan saat membaca dan memberikan dukungan emosional. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua sangat berpengaruh dalam membentuk minat dan kebiasaan membaca anak.
