Abstract

This study focuses on the integration of deep learning technology with a love-based curriculum in the context of Islamic education administration and supervision at the primary school level. The purpose of this study is to analyse effective integration models between adaptive learning technology and Islamic values and humanistic approaches in education. To support an effective and efficient education process, this study was conducted using a qualitative approach and systematic literature review covering international and national academic journals, reference books, and education policy documents from 2010 to 2024. The results of the study indicate that the integration of deep learning with a love-based curriculum requires a holistic framework that includes five main dimensions: (1) personalisation of learning with loving teacher guidance, (2) learning Islamic values with the help of interactive technology, (3) monitoring students' emotional well-being through an analytical system, (4) collaborative learning that develops social-emotional competencies, and (5) constructive feedback that combines AI analysis with humanistic guidance. The role of Islamic education administration includes developing balanced policies, investing in infrastructure and human resources, developing Islamic digital content, and building a learning ecosystem that integrates technology with Islamic values. Educational supervision serves to ensure that technology is used as a tool for empowerment, not as a substitute for the role of teachers as murabbi. This study concludes that successful integration depends on a commitment to maintaining the essence of Islamic education as a holistic tarbiyah process, developing intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence simultaneously. Practical implications include recommendations for teacher professional development, integrated curriculum design, a holistic evaluation system that measures not only academic achievement but also student character development and well-being, and a phased implementation model that can be adapted to the context of Islamic primary schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the critical role of work culture and climate in enhancing the performance of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the educational sector. The primary objective of the study is to analyze and describe the work culture and climate at Senior High School (SMA) 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon, Banten, through an Al-Qur'an perspective. This study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing a thematic (maudhu'i) interpretation approach for Qur'anic analysis combined with exploratory field research. Data were gathered through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that a productive work culture and a harmonious climate are achieved by implementing four holistic elements derived from Qur'anic signals: integrity (al-amanah), professionalism (al-itqan), responsibility (al-mas’uliyah), and exemplary leadership (al-qudwah). The findings suggest that the integration of Islamic values—such as honesty, loyalty, and mutual respect—significantly increases employee motivation and organizational performance. The study concludes that synergizing religious values with professional duties creates a sustainable and inclusive educational environment, positioning SMA 2 Krakatau Steel Cilegon as an inspirational model for other institutions in Banten

Abstract

The quality of education in Indonesia still faces various challenges, particularly related to teacher professionalism and the effectiveness of the learning process. The gap in teacher competency in integrating technology, implementing innovative methods, and conducting critical reflection demonstrates the need for a focused and sustainable development system. Educational supervision is a strategic instrument for improving learning quality through mentoring, evaluation, and professional development. This study aims to examine the sources of principals' authority in implementing supervision, the use of this authority, and the problems that arise in supervision practices in schools. Using qualitative methods through a literature review, this research synthesizes various theoretical concepts, empirical findings, and regulations related to educational supervision. The results indicate that principals' supervisory authority is legal-rational, derived from laws, implementing regulations, education policies, and employment contracts. Principals utilize this authority to carry out managerial functions, provide academic guidance, and conduct systematic learning evaluations. However, the implementation of supervision still faces obstacles such as time constraints, administrative burdens, lack of training, and an unsupportive work culture. This research confirms that strengthening regulations, improving principal competency, and implementing collaboration- and reflection-based supervision are crucial steps to optimize the quality of educational supervision in schools.

Abstract

Islamic education is an educational system oriented toward the holistic development of human beings through the integration of spiritual, intellectual, moral, and social values. This article aims to comprehensively examine the theories and concepts of Islamic education by analyzing its definitions, objectives, and scope based on classical sources, contemporary scholarly perspectives, and findings from previous studies. This study employs a library research approach by examining the Qur’an, Hadith, classical scholarly works, academic books, and relevant national and international journal articles. The findings indicate that Islamic education functions not merely as a process of transmitting religious knowledge, but also as a medium for moral formation, intellectual development, and the strengthening of learners’ social responsibility. The concepts of tarbiyah, ta‘lim, and ta’dib serve as the foundational framework in constructing a holistic and adaptive model of Islamic education. Furthermore, this study highlights that Islamic education remains highly relevant in responding to modern challenges such as globalization and digital transformation, provided that it consistently upholds its normative Islamic values. Therefore, Islamic education needs to be developed through an integrative and contextual approach in order to produce generations who are faithful, knowledgeable, morally upright, and capable of actively participating in contemporary society.
