Abstract

ABSTRAKKondisi sistem drainase pada Jalan Nawawi Hasan, Kecamatan Pontianak Barat, Kota Pontianak, yang saat ini mengalami penurunan dalam fungsi pelayanannya. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah saat curah hujan tinggi disertai pasang surut selalu terjadi banjir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa kondisi saluran drainase di Jalan Nawawi Hasan dengan menggunakan aplikasi HEC-RAS 6.1.0. Hasil analisa menunjukkan pada kondisi tanpa hujan dan dipengaruhi pasang surut elevasi muka air maksimum adalah + 0,5115 m yang berada diatas permukaan saluran, pada curah hujan periode ulang 2 tahun dan 5 tahun dengan disertai pasang surut, elevasi muka air maksimum berada diatas permukaan saluran yaitu + 0,5160 m dan + 0,5170 m. Setelah dilakukan skenario normalisasi, pada kondisi tanpa hujan dan dipengaruhi pasang surut elevasi muka air berada dibawah permukaan tanah yaitu  - 0,5139 m, dan pada curah hujan periode ulang 2 tahun dan 5 tahun disertai pasang surut elevasi muka air juga berada dibawah permukaan tanah, yaitu - 0,5139 m, dan - 0,5670 m. Secara keseluruhan kondisi saluran drainase di Jalan Nawawi Hasan masih dapsat berfungsi dengan baik. Saluran drainase yang baik dapat berfungsi untuk mencegah terjadinya genangan yang menjadi salah satu penyebab berkembang biaknya nyamuk, mengurangi erosi tanah yang mengakibatkan kerusakan jalan, serta menjaga kesehatan di lingkungan sekitarnya.Kata kunci: banjir, drainase, HEC-RAS, hujan, normalisasi, pasang surut. ABSTRACT                The condition of the drainage system on Street Nawawi Hasan, West Pontianak District, Pontianak City, which is currently service function deflation. The problem that occurs is when there is high rainfall accompanied by high tides, flooding always occurs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the condition of the drainage canal on Street Nawawi Hasan using the HEC-RAS 6.1.0 application. The results of the analysis show that in conditions without rain and influenced by tides the maximum water level elevation is + 0.5115 m above the canal surface, in the 2 year and 5 year return period rainfall accompanied by tides, the maximum water level elevation is above the canal surface that is + 0.5160 m and + 0.5170 m. After the normalization scenario was carried out, in conditions without rain and influenced by tides, the water level elevation was below the ground surface, that is - 0.5139 m, and in the 2 year and 5 year return period rainfall accompanied by ups and downs the water level was also below the ground surface. That is - 0.5139 m, and - 0.5670 m. Overall, the condition of the drainage canal on Street Nawawi Hasan be able to function properly. Good drainage canals function be able to prevent puddles which are one of the causes of mosquito breeding, reduce soil erosion that causes road damage, and maintain health in the surrounding environment. Keywords: flood, drainage, HEC-RAS, rain, normalization, ebb and flow

Abstract

Kebutuhan air bersih di Kecamatan Delta Pawan tidak sejalan dengan peningkatan jumlah penduduk dan pengembangan kawasan. Selain itu, belum terpenuhinya kebutuhan air bersih di Kecamatan Delta Pawan dari segi kuantitas, kualitas dan kontinuitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa kebutuhan air bersih. Menghitung debit ketersediaan air Sungai Pawan dengan Metode Mock. Menganalisa kualitas air baku dan air distribusi. Menganalisa kondisi jaringan eksisting Zona Pompa Booster dengan perangkat lunak Epanet 2.0 dengan 4 simulasi. Hasil analisa didapat kebutuhan air di Kecamatan Delta Pawan tahun 2022 sebesar 222,86 liter/detik atau 0,22 m3/detik dan tahun 2042 sebesar 418,92 liter/detik atau 0,42 m3/detik. Ketersediaan air baku Sungai Pawan dengan debit minimum sebesar 30,22 m3/detik. Kualitas air baku dan air distribusi terjadi penurunan pH. Analisa kondisi eksisting didapat pipa yang memenuhi syarat dengan diameter Ø150mm, Ø100mm, dan Ø75mm. Pada tahun 2042 dilakukan penambahan kapasitas pompa menjadi 70 liter/detik dan perubahan diameter pipa menjadi Ø250mm, Ø200mm, Ø150mm, Ø100mm, dan Ø75mm.

Abstract

This research was written and packaged to provide information related to mass communication. This article links mass communication to political policy. Mass communication can be used as a medium to monitor policies made by the government. Basically, Indonesia is a democratic country and the people's prosperity will be prioritized. Therefore, to follow up on unfair policies carried out by the government, a forum is needed to be able to correct this. This article will discuss how mass communication can fulfill the function of monitoring political policies. Political policies will also be described in this article, accompanied by an examination of policies that are not appropriate by society. The mass communication model will determine the direction of how this mass communication will run. Mass communication will definitely have the effect of building public awareness and correction towards the government.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of pop-up book media for vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo. The aim of this research is (1) to understand the process of developing pop-up book media for vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo. (2) to determine the validity level of the pop-up book media for vocabulary mastery among eighth-grade students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo. This type of research is development research using the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model. The data collection methods include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study show that the validation score from the media expert is 93.33%, categorized as highly valid. The validation score from the subject matter expert is 95.38%, also categorized as highly valid. The validation score from the learning expert is 80%, categorized as valid. The trial results obtained a percentage of 83.24%, categorized as highly feasible. Therefore, it can be concluded that the pop-up book media is highly feasible for use in teaching Arabic to eighth-grade students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the contribution of parenting school to students' learning outcomes in the Civic Education subject at SDN No. 25 Panaikang, Bissappu Sub-District, Bantaeng Regency. This study is of quantitative nature, utilizing a survey method with correlational techniques. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate: (1) The applied Parenting School to students at SDN No. 25 Panaikang, Bissappu Sub-District, Bantaeng Regency, based on student data, categorized 62 students (95.4%); (2) The learning outcomes of students at SDN No. 25 Panaikang, Bissappu Sub-District, Bantaeng Regency, are categorized as high for 13 students (20%), medium for 41 students (63.1%), and low for 11 students (16.9%), resulting in an overall medium learning outcome; (3) There is a contribution of parenting school to students' learning outcomes at SDN No. 25 Panaikang, Bissappu Sub-District, Bantaeng Regency. This can be observed from the research results regarding parenting school's influence on learning outcomes, where the calculated r value is greater than the tabled r value (0.375 > 0.244) and the coefficient of determination is 0.141, indicating a positive and significant contribution of 51.1%.

Abstract

The research was purposed to test the level of financial literacy as well as the factors that can cause different levels of financial literacy of each employee and how financial literacy affects financial behaviour of employees of RSUD Pare. This study took 96 respondents to be the sample with random sampling technique. Methods of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to employees of RSUD Pare.This research used descriptive statistic, independent t-test, anova, and chi square. Based on descriptive statistic, the level of financial literacy shows that 52 of 96 respondents is in the middle level category. The results of the test show that there are financial literacy differences based on gender, age, education level, and work experience. This study also found that the level of financial literacy owned by employees will give positive impact to their financial behaviour.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the behavior of investor overconfidence in Yogyakarta. This study uses questionnaire distributed to 100 randomly selected respondents. A total of 80 questionnaires were used, hile the other 20 were disqualified because of unallocated or incomplete answers. The data were processed using SPSS measuring devices stepwise regression. This research gets the result and overconfidence of investor is influenced by variables advice, while age, gender, experience, past performance and management qualifications not influence toward overconfidence investor

Abstract

Sharing love is a form of caring for others, especially for orphans in orphanages. On Friday 20 September 2024, we held a love sharing event by distributing green bean porridge to orphans at the Puteri Melati `Aisyiyah Orphanage in Sebengkok, Tarakan. This event aims to provide simple happiness and strengthen ties between the community and children in orphanages. Social activities such as sharing food are often considered trivial. In fact, for those living in orphanages, healthy and nutritious food is an important need that is sometimes difficult to meet regularly. By distributing green bean porridge, we not only provide nutritional intake that is beneficial for the body, but also provide happiness and new enthusiasm for the children there. This activity is a form of love that they can feel directly, both through the taste of the food they enjoy and through our presence who provides attention and care. Apart from that, green bean porridge has its own meaning in the tradition of sharing in Indonesian society. As a food that is often associated with moments of togetherness and mutual cooperation, green bean porridge is a symbol of simplicity and sincere love. When this porridge is distributed in orphanages, it is not just food, but becomes a symbol of concern from those who care about the welfare of the children there. Social concern is an attitude of connection with humanity in general, an empathy for every member of the human community, for example female students. Community service is one of the media to hone student awareness in carrying out community service.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the application of direct methods using flashcard media to improve Arabic vocabulary mastery of class VII MTsN Palopo. This research aims (1) to determine the ability to master Arabic vocabulary in class VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo before and after applying the direct method using flashcard media. (2) to determine the effectiveness of the direct method using flashcard media in improving Arabic vocabulary mastery for class VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri Palopo. This type of research is classroom action research, the data collection method is action observation, field notes, test sheets and documentation. The results of this research are (1) classroom action research conducted by researchers. It can be concluded that the direct method using flashcard media is effective for application to class VII students (Research Class) by seeing the increase in the results of students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary which increases through the application of the direct method using flashcard media. (2) The percentage increase in cycle I can be seen that of the 40 students, 18 students completed the percentage (45%), while 22 students completed the percentage (55%). As for cycle II, it can be seen that of the 40 students, 32 students completed the percentage (80%), while 8 students did not complete the percentage (20%). From cycle I to cycle II there was an increase in learning outcomes by (25%). Thus, in cycle II the learning outcomes are said to be complete.

Abstract

Based on observations at SDN 2 Pematang Panjang, the library's spacious room and adequate facilities suggest a well-equipped space. However, few students visit the library. During the observation, the library was found to be extremely dirty and disorganized. This disorganization refers to the accumulation of unused books within the library, leading to an unorganized layout and lack of cleanliness. This negatively impacts students' interest in visiting and reading. To address this issue, the researcher implemented a library revitalization initiative. This study aims to investigate the role of school library revitalization at SDN 2 Pematang Panjang. Data was collected using a qualitative approach, employing observation, interviews, and documentation as instruments. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman technique. The findings indicate that school library revitalization plays a crucial role. This is evidenced by the increased number of students visiting and reading in the library.
