Abstract

This study investigates the application of educational technology and teacher competence in enhancing teaching effectiveness within the Islamic religious education curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative analysis approach, data were collected from a sample of 180 respondents using a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that the relationships between educational technology and teaching effectiveness (H1), teacher competence and teaching effectiveness (H2), as well as teaching effectiveness and the Islamic education curriculum (H3), are all positive and significant. These results underscore the critical role of both educational technology and teacher competence in improving teaching effectiveness, which in turn positively impacts the Islamic education curriculum. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and educators aiming to enhance the quality of Islamic religious education through the strategic application of educational technology and the development of teacher competencies.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of multimedia integration in teaching Islamic religion and its impact on student satisfaction with interactive learning in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 160 students through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings indicate that multimedia integration significantly enhances the effectiveness of teaching Islamic religion (Path Coefficient = 0.625, p < 0.001), improves student satisfaction (Path Coefficient = 0.664, p < 0.001), and promotes interactive learning (Path Coefficient = 0.686, p < 0.001). Additionally, effective teaching of Islamic religion positively influences interactive learning (Path Coefficient = 0.403, p < 0.001), and higher student satisfaction contributes to more interactive learning experiences (Path Coefficient = 0.234, p = 0.003). The findings emphasize the significance of incorporating multimedia technologies in religious education to provide captivating and efficient learning settings. These findings provide significant knowledge for educators and policymakers who seek to improve the standard of religious teaching in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakteristik siswa melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam menjadi penting karena pendidikan agama memiliki dampak yang mendalam dalam membentuk nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual siswa. Perlu adanya evaluasi mendalam terkait penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pembentukan karakteristik siswa dalam konteks tersebut. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang proses dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pembentukan karakteristik siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam, pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan pendidikan dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan memperkuat kontribusi pendidikan Agama Islam dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter. Adapun Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pembentukan karakteristik siswa dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk memahami secara mendalam proses pembentukan karakteristik siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan menggali informasi deskriptif tentang apa yang dilakukan dan dialami oleh subjek penelitian terkait dengan fokus penelitian. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan ada beberapa karakteristik yang diperoleh melalui implementasi kurikulum Merdeka dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yaitu self-directed learning, Kemampuan berpikir kritis, Kratif, Kolaborasi, dan Disiplin. Dan faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan karakteristik peserta didik dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam terdiri dari kurikulum, guru, orang tua, dan teman sebaya. Keberhasilan suatu kurikulum merdeka harus dibarengi oleh 4 faktor diatas sehingga akan mengasilkan output karakteristik yang sesuai dengan konsep kurikulum merdeka khususnya pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

Background. This research explores the implementation of picture card media to enhance basketball-playing skills among primary school children Purpose. Grounded in a literature review, the study addresses the challenges in fostering interest and understanding of basketball concepts at the elementary level. Method. Utilizing a comprehensive literature review methodology, key theories of early childhood learning, and the efficacy of visual aids are examined. Results. The analysis indicates that the integration of picture card media has the potential to overcome challenges related to children's comprehension of the game, enhancing both cognitive and motor skills. However, potential obstacles such as limited teacher training and resource availability must be carefully considered for successful implementation. Conclusion. The study concludes by highlighting the need for a holistic and culturally sensitive approach in designing educational strategies, ensuring the media's visual content aligns with the children's cultural context. The findings of this literature review provide a theoretical foundation for future empirical research, emphasizing the significance of tailored approaches to support effective learning experiences for primary school children in basketball.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada dampaknya terhadap keterlibatan dan kemandirian mahasiswa, serta kesiapan dosen dan infrastruktur pendidikan. Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan fleksibilitas dalam pembelajaran, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi mahasiswa. Namun, perguruan tinggi menghadapi tantangan dalam menyesuaikan kurikulum, melatih dosen, dan memperbaiki infrastruktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kepustakaan untuk menganalisis literatur terkait dan mengidentifikasi tantangan serta strategi yang dapat diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada peluang besar untuk peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, kesiapan dosen dan infrastruktur masih memerlukan perhatian untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Rekomendasi diusulkan untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada.
