Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the implementation of learning history in kejar paket C programs. This study uses the descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected by interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis technique use qualitative analysis inductive models with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study are: first, planning learning history in kejar paket C program started from In House Training for educators in kejar paket C program which practiced in the preparation of the learning device are appropriate to the curriculum; second, the implementation of learning history in kejar paket C program involves three patterns of learning consisting of 20% face-to-face interaction, 30% tutorials, and 50% independent activity; third, constraints in the implementation of history learning in kejar paket C program is the readiness of learners in receiving learning materials, learning infrastructure, and the competence of educators in conveying the teaching of history; fourth, evaluation of learning history in kejar paket C program is equal to the formal school.

Abstract

History learning in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools is carried out almost the same, both obtaining mandatory history with the aim of studying the history of the nation. Meanwhile, studying history in Senior High Schools contains additional material for the history of specialization. The existence of differences in environment, meaning and purpose makes students less interested and meaningful in learning which results in history learning running less optimally. For this reason, this paper aims to make historical learning relevant to the learning field of Vocational Middle School students, one of which is by utilizing local material in areas close to the environment and even the vocational school. One of them is the use of local materials for the Cepu Oil and Gas Vocational Middle School students, namely the history of Dutch oil exploration in Cepu. This study uses a literature study research method, the authors use a humanistic approach to analyze the relevance of learning materials to the learning environment and the interests or vocational of students. The focus of this research is on discussing history learning in Vocational High Schools and the use of historical material on Dutch oil exploration in Cepu as a learning resource. So that studying history will be relevant and meaningful in accordance with the vocational.

Abstract

Java has the values that can be taken in relation to the value of the benefits of ethics and aesthetics. One farm of those values are joglo art that have the local knowledge of Javanese culture. Model approach in this research is leading to a descriptive qualitative ethnographic, in which the empirical reality a result, demanding researchers go directly to the location of the study, to be able to live up to their tradition, and the symptoms of everyday life that is full of social phenomena local culture. This research firms a single case study stuck. In the context of this case study, a traditional Javanese home visits as a sub unit of analysis, but its existence still viewed/reviewed as a place that is part of the social system of the larger society around Surakarta. Java house building structure is one that reflects the composition of space like typical building pendhapa, pringgitan, dalem, kitchen, or gadri gandhok. The relation between this structure is a structure which is strongly influenced by the manifestation process mythology and cosmology Java). This means that the traditional Javanese house is not just a place to shelter (practical function), but also understood as a manifestation of the ideals and outlook on life or a symbolic function. In this case the traditional Javanese houses are not only placed as an autonomous element, a separate stand alone, but being seen in context, particularly relevant to the context of allied Javanese cosmology that underlie the view that the Javanese philosophy of Iife.

Abstract

Traditional art is a regional art as a part of national culture that must be preserved. Jaranan Pogogan is a traditional dance from Nganjuk. Jaranan Pogogan has been developing since 1950 but gradually became extinct in the 1980’s. The aim of the author is to raise the theme that Jaranan Pogogan can be preserved by the younger generation, with the theme of traditional arts expected to raise student interest in learning history. The research method used in this paper is qualitative and literature study data for data collection. The data obtained in this study passes the data analysis procedure that occurs simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or data verification. The data generated in this study shows the relationship between the values of Jaranan Pogogan which is original of Nganjuk culture as a historical learning for the next generation that upholds the noble values, local wisdom and manners.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the philosophical values in Gebleg Renteng batik originating from Kulon Progo district, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data were taken from books, journals and interviews as well as supporting documents related to research. The main characteristics in the research come from natural/reality backgrounds in the community by observing, interviewing, and reviewing documents. After the data is collected, the researcher analyzes and concludes the results of the data that has been obtained. The result of the research is that Gebleg Renteng batik is a typical batik from Kulon Progo district. The motifs are gebleg like the number eight combined into one bond (jointly), kacer birds, mangos teen fruit, blooming flower bud, binagun symbol, Kulon Progo logo and up and down pattern. From these various motives, values can be drawn, namely the attitude of nationalism. Values are always associated with ethics, morals so that the philosophical values in Gebleg Renteng batik can be used to instill an attitude of nationalism to the younger generation of the nation's successors so that Indonesia is maintained, sovereign and not colonized by foreign nations.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the development of material that supports the history of the struggle of K.H Gholib, who then compiles it into an e-book using the software "Flip PDF Professional 2.4.6.8". It was developed separately to analyze the material and increase student interest in Private Vocational High Schools in Pringsewu District by instilling the values of nationalism, heroism, and patriotism of a religious figure and fighter who participated in the struggle for independence in Lampung from the attack of the Dutch Military Aggression II in 1949. The research method used was the research and development of "R&D". The focus of e-book development uses the ADDIE development model through five intoxices, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The final results of this study show how the preparation and implementation of e-books in the classroom, so that the product developed can foster student interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop inquiry models in social studies learning by integrating the values of Mohammad Hatta's democratic economic thinking in junior high schools in Lampung. The method used in this research is the development research (R&D) method. The subjects in this study consisted of material validators, model validators, and 48 junior high school students. The results of this development research show that the inquiry learning model integrated with the value of Mohammad Hatta's populist economic thought proved to be valid based on the assessment of the model expert and material expert. Based on the results of small group trials, limited trials and large group trials shows that the integrated inquiry learning model with the economic thought value of Mohammad Hatta proved to be effective and in accordance with needs analysis.

Abstract

This study discussed Banyuwangi’s Coffee Plantation in 1818-1829, and the dynamics of submission mandatory referred to the Priyangan (Preangerstelsel) system that affected the coffee plantations in Banyuwangi. This study used history as the research method. It shows the coffee journey from early planting and the ups and downs of coffee plantation income. To achieve the expected production, the Dutch East Indies government made some efforts, including reopening the abandoned Sukaradja plantations, opening a new plantation on the slopes of Idjen-Raung Mountain, and opening the citizen's gardens with a private system until a coffee fencing system. The coffee produced was Arabica/Djawa coffee, which became an excellent coffee in International scope. 1829 was the last year of the compulsory submission system, referring to the Priyangan system and changed to the cultivation system (Cultuurstelsel).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) the political development during the Indonesian national movement. (2) The political role of Ki Bagus Hadikusumo in 1938-1953. (3) The importance of Ki Bagus Hadikusumo's political role in developing new sources of Indonesian history. The methodology used in this study is historic. The steps of the historical method are enlightenment, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The data sources used by researchers are primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques use library search techniques. Data analysis techniques through fact-based external and internal criticism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the process of cultivating historical awareness of the value of the rewanda custom in the cave creo semarang in history learning at SMA Negeri 12 Semarang, explaining how historical awareness among students at SMA Negeri 12 Semarang, explains the relevance between Adat Rewanda and Historical Awareness in learning and explaining how to integrate the traditional values of rewanda in Goa Kreo Semarang with history learning at SMA Negeri 12 Semarang. Researchers used qualitative research methods with descriptive and phenomenological approaches. The results of this study indicate that the cultivation of historical awareness of the customary value of rewanda in the cave creo semarang is appropriate, proven by the existence of a Learning Implementation Plan and Syllabus in the 2013 Curriculum, the implementation of learning, evaluation and historical awareness of students which is shown mostly from the results of student interviews, namely understanding. There are factors that affect the level of students' historical awareness, among others, the history of teacher competence, existing learning, and the environment. The facilities used in the cultivation of historical awareness are supported by learning and extracurricular resources.
