Abstract

This study focuses on student motivation in joining campus organizations. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The primary data source is informants from students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Makassar Islamic University. Secondary data sources are relevant books and journals. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study show that student motivation to join student organizations is characterized by the will of themselves (intrinsic) and also from outside (extrinsic). Intrinsic motivation of students is the desire to have self-confidence to be able to speak in public, increase insight both in terms of worldly knowledge and also the knowledge of the afterlife, and also soft skills or personal abilities for a student for their future. While the extrinsic motivation of students is the support of parents, invitations from friends, and wanting to have closeness with seniors or lecturers who have previously joined the organization. This study has implications for the importance of a cadre pattern that maintains the ideology of students to remain tolerant and not forget academic activities in lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis supervisi klinis kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru di MTs Zia Salsabila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala madrasah, guru, dan supervisor (pengawas).  Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis yang terdiri dari empat alur yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di MTs Zia Salsabila ditemukan bahwa dalam supervisi klinis kepala madrasah melakukan tiga tahapan yaitu yang pertama perencanaan yang mana kepala madrasah mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru dan menetapkan aspek-aspek yang ingin diobservasi, Kedua pelaksanaan, dalam pelaksanaan kepala madrasah melakukan pengamatan secara langsung ke kelas dan membuat instrumen penelitian. Serta yang ketiga ialah umpan balik, kepala madrasah menganalisa hasil observasi yang didapatkan kemudian memberikan arahan dan bimbingan sesuai hasil yang diperoleh.

Abstract

Rapid technological development has led to an increase in internet users, which in turn has spurred the emergence of numerous Social Networking Sites (SNS). High SNS usage is often associated with social anxiety. This study was conducted on Generation Z social media users who spend more than 4 hours a day using social media. The study included 250 subjects, employing an incidental sampling technique. Two psychological measurement tools were used in this study: The Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) for social anxiety, and the Social Networking Addiction Scale (SNAS) for Social Networking Site addiction. Based on the research results, a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained. These results indicate that social anxiety played a role in social networking site addiction by 46.5%, with the remainder influenced by other factors. This study recommends the importance of not using social media excessively, as it can have detrimental psychological effects on individuals. _____________________________________________________________Perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat menyebabkan meningkatnya pengguna internet, hal ini yang melatarbelakangi munculnya sejumlah Social Networking Sites (SNS). Tingginya penggunaan SNS seringkali dikaitkan dengan social anxiety. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada generasi Z pengguna media sosial, menggunakan media sosial lebih dari 4 jam sehari. Jumlah subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 250 orang dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel, insidental sampling. Alat ukur psikologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua yaitu kecemasan sosial menggunakan Social Anxiety Scale for Social Media Users (SAS-SMU) dan Social Networking Site addiction (SNS) menggunakan Social Networking Addiction Scale (SNAS). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai nilai p sebesar 0,000 (<0,05), hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peran kecemasan sosial dalam kecanduan situs jejaring sosial sebesar 46,5%, dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain. Penelitian ini, merekomendasikan bahwa pentingnya untuk menggunakan media sosial secara tidak berlebihan karena dapat memberikan dampak yang buruk terhadap psikologis individu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, work motivation, and job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMP IT Al Maksum Sunggal. This study's background is based on some teachers' weak performance, such as inconsistency in preparing learning tools, low variation in teaching methods, and varying levels of discipline and job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least square-structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis method through the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The respondents were 30 teachers, which was determined through total sampling techniques. The study showed that the three independent variables simultaneously influenced teacher performance with an R² value of 0.441. Partially, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (path coefficient = 0.505), but several indicators, such as DG2 and DG5, have low loading values ​​and need to be evaluated. Conversely, work motivation negatively affects teacher performance (coefficient = -0.159), which indicates the possibility of conceptual problems in measuring indicators. Job satisfaction is the most consistent and significant variable influencing teacher performance (coefficient = 0.350), with strong reliability and convergent validity support. Thus, strengthening teacher discipline and job satisfaction must be the focus of human resource development in schools. In contrast, the motivation aspect needs to be reviewed conceptually and technically to maximize its contribution to improving teacher performance.

Abstract

Impulsive buying is an irrational purchase that occurs quickly without any consideration and there is no process of searching for information about the product purchased so that the purchase occurs because of an emotional impulsive. One of the factors that influence impulsive buying is a hedonic lifestyle. The hedonic lifestyle is a lifestyle or lifestyle that is expressed with activities, interests and opinions that prioritize emotional properties rather than logic and is a lifestyle that leads to pleasure which is the goal of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between hedonic lifestyle and impulsive buying in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative method with Pearson's product moment analysis. The subjects in this study were 360 adolescents aged 12-23 years in the city of Pekanbaru which were taken using quota sampling. Based on the results of research conducted that there is a positive relationship between the hedonic lifestyle and the impulsive buying tendency of teenagers in the city of Pekanbaru with a significance value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.735, which means the higher the hedonic lifestyle, the higher the tendency of impulsive buying in adolescents, and conversely the lower the hedonic lifestyle. hedonic lifestyle, the lower the tendency of impulsive buying in adolescents in Pekanbaru. Abstract

Perilaku menolong merupakan salah satu bentuk kepedulian untuk mencegah atau mengatasi oleh saksi ketika melihat perundungan yang terjadi. Tentunya setiap perilaku menolong merupakan hal yang bisa memengaruhi terbentuknya kesulitan psikososial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan dari perilaku menolong dengan kesulitan psikososial pada perundungan yang disaksikan oleh remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan studi korelasional agar bisa melihat bagaimana hubungan antara perilaku menolong dan kesulitan psikososial pada remaja. Sebanyak 197 responden yang terdiri dari siswa remaja terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,006 (p < 0,05) dan nilai korelasinya sebesar -0,674, sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa kedua variabel memiliki hubungan yang signifikan serta memiliki arah hubungan yang negatif sehigga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara perilaku menolong dengan kesulitan psikososial.

Abstract

Students are the most important assets for every country in This study aims to describe and analyze the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa. The focus of the study covers five main aspects, namely planning, procurement, inventory, utilization and maintenance, and disposal of educational facilities and infrastructure. This study is motivated by the importance of the availability and management of adequate facilities to support the effectiveness of the learning process. The research approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study indicate that the management of facilities and infrastructure at SMP IT Al-Ikhwan Tanjung Morawa has been carried out systematically, but there are still obstacles in terms of the suitability between planning and realization, budget limitations, and suboptimal maintenance. Some educational facilities do not meet national education standards, especially in terms of information technology and comfort of learning spaces. These findings indicate the need to strengthen the management of facilities and infrastructure in a sustainable manner by involving all stakeholders, including the principal, teachers, administrative staff, and school committees. This study provides theoretical and practical contributions in the development of educational policies, especially in the aspect of effective and efficient facility management in Islamic-based private school environments.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the principal's supervision in improving teacher performance at SMP IT Ad Durrah Medan. Teacher performance is very important to improve the quality of education in schools. One way that can be done to improve teacher performance is through supervision carried out by the principal. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that supervision is carried out through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the planning stage, the principal prepares a supervision program, determines the focus of supervision based on data, and prepares assessment instruments. At the implementation stage, supervision is carried out by visiting classes, observing learning, checking lesson plans, and seeing student learning outcomes. Furthermore, at the evaluation stage, the principal meets with teachers to discuss the results of supervision and carry out follow-up in the form of coaching or training. Supervision that is carried out regularly and openly has a positive impact on improving teacher performance. Teachers become more enthusiastic, focused, and assisted in carrying out their duties. Abstract

The increasing of State Islamic Universities (PTKIN) in Aceh is contradictory with the minimum interest of Acehnese to study at PTKIN. This phenomenon shows an anomaly in Acehnese religiosity level. This paper aimed to seek Higher Education (HE) marketing strategies in Aceh and to describe the reason for Acehnese low interest in PTKIN. A mixed method was used in this research; meanwhile, an explanatory sequential design was chosen to be the research design. This research was done in 3 PTKIN and 3 State Universities (PTU) in Aceh, where 60 Acehnese students were chosen as respondents. Besides quantitative data, qualitative research was done by interviewing, observing, and studying documentation to get more information. The result showed that the products (departments and accreditation) significantly affected students' interest in HE. This article suggested that PTKIN add more departments to present many choices for society as a place to study at a high education level.
