This study sees a picture of student self-control in using the Internet. The research used is descriptive quantitative. The number of respondents in this study were 230 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire, the data were analyzed descriptively by determining the percentage of achievement using the average score percentage formula. The results of the study describe the overall control of BK UNP students in using the Internet in the high category. From the aspect of self-control it was found that: (1) cognitive control of students in using the internet was in the high category, (2) student behavior control in using the internet was in the moderate category, (3) control of student decisions in using the internet in the high.

The purpose of this research to describe self control and truant behavior students and examine the relationship between self control with the behavior of truant students. This research applied quantitative method and descriptive correlational design, with a sample of 234 students, that drawn by Propotional Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument of this research was a scale of Likert model. Hypothesis testing of research using the formula Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS for mindows release 20.00. The results showed: (1) on average, the truant behavior of class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang was 19.86 hours of lessons in 2 months, (2) on average, class X and XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang self control was 108.24 at the high category, (3) there was significant negative of self-control with truant behavior of students, with a correlation coefficient -0.289 significance level 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. This research can be used as an analysis of the needs of students for the teacher of guidance and counseling for the manufacture of guidance and counseling services programs at SMA Negeri 7 Padang.

Old age is a natural process experienced by every human being who will reach old age. Old age is not a disease, but a normal process that cannot be avoided. In incomplete sentence old age many problems faced by the elderly both physical problems that have decreased and mental problems such as depression, stress and anxiety. Problems that occur in the elderly are important things that require attention and care. Hypnotherapy is one way that can be done in the elderly to reduce the problems that occur, especially regarding mental health such as anxiety. Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is a direct response to the causes or roots of a problem, and what makes people enter hypnosis is the verbal suggestion. This paper tries to explain the concept of hypnotherapy and aspects related to hypnotherapy, which are aimed at reducing mental problems such as anxiety that occurs in the elderly.

Abstrak Rendahnya self efficacy yang dimiliki siswa mendorong untuk dilakukannya pemberian sebuah layanan berupa bimbingan kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok terhadap siswa yang memiliki self efficacy rendah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket self efficacy. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa Kelas XI SMA Yasmida Ambarawa yang memiliki self efficacy rendah dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data tentang self efficacy dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test dan Kolmogorov-Smirnov Two Sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok yang diberikan efektif untuk meningkatkan self efficacy siswa. Â Kata Kunci: Bimbingan Kelompok; Self Efficacy;

This research aims to formulate guidance and counseling module to prevent bullying at school and to describe the level of applicability used by counselor. The method used was ADDIE model development. The subjects of the research consisted of guidance and counseling expert and the intended target of the module (counselor), chosen through purposive sampling. The instruments used were questionnaire and focus group discussion (FGD). The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that prototype modules developed to prevent bullying at school is applicable used by the counselor and those modules can be utilized by counselor to prevent bullying at school.

One of the school's efforts is to help students achieve good learning results by instill discipline in the students. The fact that there are still students who commit breaches of the school rules, even though the school has undertaken the construction of discipline by the school personnel. This research aims to describe a breach of the school rules undertaken by students and the cause factors. Type of this research is descriptive research. The population in this research is 308 students and samples is 174 students. The research results reveal the overall student violations committed at the school belongs to medium category. Based on the level of violations committed students at the school were categorized in medium, and high in learning time. The cause factors violations committed student who comes from a family environment factors is in high category, from the school environment are medium category, and from the community is in high category.

The background of the research was based on pre observation about negative sexuality behavior in one city of West Sumatera. Sexual behavior is negatively related to the alleged wrong perception of sex. From the result, authors are interested in conducting research on student’s perceptions of teenager sexual behavior and its implications for guidance and counseling services. Its population is SMPN student’s in one of the city of West Sumatra in class VII, VIII, and IX of the school year 2012/2013 as many as 445 student’s. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling with a sample of 112 student’s. Research instrument was a questionnaire of student’s perceptions of teenager sexual behavior. The data obtained were analyzed by using percentages. From this research, the overall perception of student’s is really about sexual behavior was categorized as very positive. Â

Teenagers have developmental task, one of them is emotional independence aspect. If the task could not be completed, it will cause the unhappiness for individual as well as the difficulties in solving the next developmental tasks. Teens that do not have emotional independence will always be dependent on parents or other adults so that when the teenagers growing up would have difficulty in completing development tasks. This research is a pre-experiment design of The One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjects in this study were 10 students eighth grade of SMP Frater Padang. To determine the amount of sample used purposive random sampling technique. Data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxson Signed Rank Test. The findings of this study are there are significant differences between pretest and posttest conditions achievement early adolescent developmental tasks in the emotional aspects of students' independence. Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that the achievement of the group guidance can affect the early adolescent developmental tasks on the emotional aspects of self-reliance

This research was based on a pre-observation at the STIT Syekh Burhanuddin Pariaman. Which, the students were from difference background of education in high school, consisted of general schools and from religion schools, and actually they did not have clear orientation about self capabilities, self perception, personalities, learning, social and career with career they pursue. The purposes of this research were to described contribution self efficacy and self concept to career readiness and described the difference of self efficacy, self concept and career readiness among the students. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionaire and self efficacy scale adopted from Bandura, which was the validity and reliability has been tested. The data were analyzed by comparing means with independent sample t test and regression technique.

The purpose of Teen Consultation Center (TSC) extracurricular is to develop students’ ability become youth counselor. The purpose of this research is to describe TSC extracurricular activity at SMA N 7 Padang based on the students’ opinion about the development TSC by counseling teacher and TSC implementation by youth counselor. This research can be categorized quantitative approach, descriptive research. Research finding explains students’ opinion about TSC development by counseling teacher is good and TCR implementation has been done.
