Abstract

This study aims to analyze the linguistic patterns used by young mothers in Dusun Garantiga, Maros Regency, on Facebook Pro content, and to examine the relationship between digital writing and speaking skills and audience engagement levels. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach with digital linguistic analysis. Data were collected through digital observation and online documentation of 120 posts from ten selected Facebook Pro accounts using purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson and Spearman correlation tests with SPSS 25 for Windows. The results show that the linguistic patterns of young mothers’ digital communication are dominated by code-mixing (35%), informal style (28%), and netspeak (18%), indicating the use of casual greetings, abbreviations, emojis, and hashtags to create social closeness with audiences. Correlation analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between digital writing and speaking skills and engagement levels (r = 0.642; p < 0.05). Communicative and expressive language use was found to increase audience interactions such as likes, comments, and shares. Theoretically, this research enriches digital linguistics studies by highlighting community-based communication practices that have received limited academic attention. Practically, the findings offer recommendations for developing community-based digital communication literacy, particularly empowering young mothers in rural areas to utilize social media effectively as a medium for social and economic empowerment

Abstract

This program explores the implementation of a community-collaborative program to enhance foreign language learning at the senior high school level. Recognizing the limitations of classroom-based, theory-oriented instruction, the research addresses the need for contextual and experiential approaches. The program aimed to bridge formal education and real-world language use by involving local communities in the learning process. Using a collaborative action research design, the study engaged teachers, students, and community partners including language practitioners and native speakers in four iterative stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, interviews, observations, and reflective journals. Findings indicate a substantial improvement in students’ foreign language proficiency, with an average score increase of over 20% across speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Moreover, students demonstrated enhanced motivation, confidence, and communicative competence. Community involvement provided authentic linguistic environments, enabling students to apply language skills meaningfully in real-life contexts. The study concludes that community-based collaboration not only improves academic outcomes but also fosters character development aligned with 21st-century learning goals and Indonesia’s Profile of Pancasila Students. It recommends integrating community partnerships as a core component of sustainable foreign language education in schools.

Abstract

This program explores how collaboration between schools and local communities can meaningfully enhance language learning and improve the overall quality of education at the junior and senior high school levels. Recognizing that language is key to communication and critical thinking, the research draws on foundational theories such as Vygotsky’s social interaction theory, Bandura’s social learning theory, Freire’s critical pedagogy, and the concept of authentic learning by Herrington, Reeves, and Oliver. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved students, teachers, school leaders, and community members selected purposively. Data were gathered through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document review, and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal a strong positive impact of school-community collaboration. Around 85% of students showed noticeable improvement in speaking skills, while 92% of educators reported increased student motivation. Community involvement in language activities also rose significantly from 30% to 78%. Moreover, 88% of students felt they gained a deeper understanding of the cultural and social context of the language, and 90% expressed greater confidence in using the language in real-life situations. These results highlight how real-world interactions with the local community can bring language learning to life, making it more relevant and engaging for students. The study recommends that schools continue building meaningful partnerships with communities, supported by consistent programs and government policies. Further research is also encouraged to explore the long-term benefits of such collaborative efforts in education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of morphosyntactic deviations that appear in the speech of students at SMK Negeri 5 Bulukumba, particularly at the morpheme and word levels. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of students' spoken language use, which often does not conform to standard Indonesian language rules, influenced by regional languages, slang, and informal language habits in everyday life. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data in the form of students' spoken language recorded during class discussions and interactions. The results of the study show several forms of morphological deviations, namely incorrect use of prefixes, suffixes, formation of double affixed words, omission of affixes, errors in reduplication, and errors in determining the basic form of words. These deviations indicate that students still have difficulty applying the rules of Indonesian morphology appropriately in formal communication contexts. These findings are expected to provide input for Indonesian language teachers in designing more effective learning strategies to improve students' oral language competence.

Abstract

Isu ketepatan kebahasaan dalam buku bacaan anak masih menjadi perhatian penting dalam kajian linguistik terapan dan pendidikan bahasa. Buku seri membaca awal berperan strategis dalam membentuk kemampuan berbahasa dan berpikir anak, tetapi sebagian besar buku anak di Indonesia masih lebih menonjolkan aspek visual dan moral daripada struktur linguistic yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan representasti pola frasa bahasa anak dalam Bku Seri Membaca B-1 serta mengungkap karakteristik linguistic yang mendukung keterpahaman dan pemerolehan bahasa pada tahap literasi awal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis linguistik deskriptif. Data berupa frasa-frasa dalam empat judul buku dianalisis menggunakan metode distribusional dan padan intralingual untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk, fungsi, dan kecenderungan linguistiknya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapa lima jenis frasa utama, yaitu frasa nominal, frasa verbal, ffrasa adjektival, frasa preposisional, dan frasa adverbial dengan dominasi frasa nominal dan frasa verbal mencapao 69%. Pola frasa sederhana dan berulang mencerminkan karakteristik bahasa anak yang konkret dan komunikatif serta mendukung perkembangan kesadaran sintaksis (syntactic awareness). Temuan ini memperkenalkan konsep literasi structural anakk, yaitu kemampuan memahami hubungan sintaksis sederhana melalui paparan frasa yang sesuai dengan tahap kognitif anak. Dengan demikian, Buku Seri Membaca B-1 tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai bahan literasi awal, tetapi juga sebagai instrument linguistik yang mendukung pemerolehan bahasa Indonesia secara fungsional dan sistematis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tipe-tipe reduplikasi dan maknanya, serta menganalisis hubungan morfologi dan sintaksis yang muncul dari proses reduplikasi dalam Bahasa Bugis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan meninjau data linguistik dari berbagai sumber referensi mengenai Bahasa Bugis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan bentuk-bentuk reduplikasi berdasarkan proses morfologisnya dan mengidentifikasi makna gramatikal atau leksikal yang dihasilkannya, termasuk peranannya dalam tataran sintaksis seperti valensi verba. Hasil penelusuran menunjukkan bahwa reduplikasi dalam Bahasa Bugis meliputi reduplikasi penuh, reduplikasi sebagian, reduplikasi berimbuhan, dan terkadang reduplikasi dengan perubahan fonem. Proses ini berfungsi baik secara derivasional (membentuk kata baru) maupun infleksional (memberi makna gramatikal), dengan makna yang diungkapkan seperti pluralitas (banyak), frekuentatif (berulang kali), intensitas, serta perbuatan yang dilakukan dengan santai atau tidak serius. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa reduplikasi merupakan proses morfologis yang memiliki implikasi signifikan terhadap struktur sintaksis dan kekayaan makna dalam Bahasa Bugis.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan dan pengalaman guru di SMAS YAPIP Sungguminasa tentang pembuatan lembar kerja siswa melalui aplikasi Teachshare AI. Sebanyak 18 guru dilatih membuat akun di Teachshare AI, memulai langkah awal pembuatan lembar kerja, hingga mengunduh lembar kerja yang telah mereka buat. Selain itu, guru-guru juga dilatih membuat rubrik penilaian, dan grafik perkembangan hasil belajar siswa. Meskipun tidak semua peserta berhasil membuat lembar kerja siswa dengan baik, para guru di  SMAS YAPIP Sungguminasa sudah mampu mengetahui langkah-langkah proses pembuatannya.Kata kunci: LKS, guru, Teachshare AI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur dalam bahasa Bugis menggunakan media audiovisual tiktok siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri Satap 9 Buttue Kabupaten Barru.Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks prosedur dalam bahasa Bugis menggunakan media audiovisual tiktok siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri Satap 9 Buttue Kabupaten Barru memperoleh nilai rata-rata 84 dengan persentase 80% berada pada kategori terampil. Pada aspek isi, nilai rata-rata siswa berada dalam kategori terampil dengan nilai 83. Pada aspek struktur teks, nilai rata-rata siswa berada dalam kategori terampil dengan nilai 87. Pada aspek ciri kebahasaan, nilai rata-rata siswa berada dalam kategori terampil dengan nilai 81. Pada aspek penggunaan bahasa, nilai rata-rata siswa berada dalam kategori terampil dengan nilai 84. Secara keseluruhan, keterampilan menulis teks prosedur dalam bahasa Bugis menggunakan media audiovisual tiktok siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri Satap 9 Buttue Kabupaten Barru dikategorikan terampil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikankemampuan menulis pengalaman pribadi dalam bahasa Makassar siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Tompobulu Satap Garentong Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 25 orang dalamsatukelas. Sampel yang digunakandalampenelitian inisebanyak 25 orang. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkandatadalampenelitian ini adalah tes tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasiswakelas VIIISMPN 4 Tompobulu Satap Garentong Kabupaten Gowa dikategorikan tidak mampu. Hal tersebut ditunjukkandari 25 sampel yang ditetapkan,siswayang memperoleh nilai 70-100 sebanyak 6 (24%) yang dikategorikan mampu, dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai 0-70 sebanyak 19 siswa (76%) dikategorkantidakmampu.

Abstract

The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), is trying to overcome the spread of the Covid-19 virus so that it does not spread further. In connection with this, the Ministry of Education and Culture has issued a circular letter from the Minister of Education and Culture regarding the implementation of education policies during the Covid-19 emergency period and a circular letter from the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture regarding guidelines for organizing learning during the emergency period. This research aims to reveal ideational meaning which includes expressive meaning and logical meaning. This research is a type of qualitative research. The data for this research are clauses that contain ideational meaning. The data source is quoted from a letter published by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology regarding learning during the 2020-2021 pandemic. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation techniques, reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification. The findings of this research are ideational meaning which includes (1) experiential meaning, and (2) logical meaning. The experiential meaning is, (a) the meaning of the material process in the phrase wash your hands, get used to a clean lifestyle . This phrase means living clean, preventing viruses,(b) the mental process in the phrase knowing learning methods contains the meaning of understanding, and in the phrase getting used to a clean lifestyle contains the meaning of habituation, (c) verbal process of the phrase implementing health protocols and hopefully we can share with each other. The first verbal phrase contains the meaning of prevention, and helping each other in dealing with Covid 19, (d) the relational process in the phrase being an ambassador for change and implementing cough etiquette, both phrases contain the meaning of preventing virus transmission, (e) the behavioral process in the phrase avoiding physical contact and the phrase limiting guests. This phrase contains the meaning of keeping your distance. (2) Logical meaning, namely the use of conjunctions and, after, as long as, because, as, as, and before.
