Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions and what factors influence the interest in continuing education to tertiary education for students of SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Batu. This study used a quantitative descriptive method and the population in this study were students of class XI, amounting to 93 people using saturated samples. The data analysis technique used was the F test, the coefficient of determination (R2), Uji multiple linear regression. The result of this research is that ideals have an effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education, where the tcount is 4.027 ≥ ttable 1.987 and a significant value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. The family environment has no effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where the obtained t count is 1.747 ≤ t table 1.987 and a significant value is 0.084 ≥ 0.50. Peers have no effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where the obtained t count is 2.109 ≤ t table 1.987 and a significant value of 0.038 ≥ 0.05. The school environment has an effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where obtained tcount 5.069 ≥ t table 1.987 and a significant value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between ideals, family environment, peers and the school environment where the obtained Fcount value 38.179 ≥ F table 2.47 and a significant value 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Multiple linear regression equation Y = -2.014 + 0.263 X1 + 0.124 X2 + 0.102 X3 + 0.417 X4. The results of the research coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.634 or 63.4%, meaning that this indicates that the variables of ideals (X1), family environment (X2), peers (X3), school environment (X4) together provide contribution to learning outcomes was 63.4%, and the rest (36.6%) was influenced by other factors not included in the study.Key Words: Interest In Continuing Education To Tertiary Institutions, Ideals,The Family Environment, Peers, The School Environment

Abstract

Abstract: This study is based on a student with such SMA Negeri 4 Bagan Sinembah that affect their learning outcomes, a tendency to not be eliminated discipline in students in order to achieve maximum learning results, acts of indisipline arrive late, do not wear school uniform in accordance with School, and many more. In teaching and learning outcomes that satisfy the student are required to discipline, both within the school and outside of school and living environment. The problem in this research is how the effect of the application of school to the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship education class X SMA Negeri 4 Bagan Sinembah. The study aims to determine the effect of the application of school to the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship education class X SMA Negeri 4 Bagan Sinembah. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Bagan sinembah Disctrict Rokan Hilir with the population 128 people and sample 32 people. This File collection techniques were collected through observation, questionnaire, and documentation. Research result the effect of the application of school to the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship education class X SMA Negeri 4 Bagan Sinembah is significant or affected positively by Y =12,852 + 0,145X. In means constant value 12,852 of which means that if the application of discipline in school is assumed not to exist, then the result is worth unit students learn citizenship. The effect of the application of discipline in shool on learning outcomes can be seen from the regression coefficient which direction relations are positive signs that describe that positive relationship which means that if the application of discipline in schools increased by one unit then PPKn student learning outcomes obtained for 0,145 the unit.Keywords: Application, Discipline, Student Learning Outcomes2

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles on student learning outcomes majoring in Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods and the population in this study were all active student majoring in Social Sciences Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau in 2012 until the year of the year 2018 totaling 976 students and the samples were obtained using proportional random sampling techniques 98 respondents. Data collection instruments are questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS version 16.0. The results of this study are the learning styles of the Department of Social Sciences Students of the Teaching and Education Faculty of Riau University, the most dominant is the auditory learning style, because the value of Beta Standardized Coefficient held by the auditorial learning style variable is greater than the other independent variables. While learning outcomes are in the form cumulative achievements values obtained by students of the Department of Social Sciences, Teaching and Education Faculty of Riau University are categorized as very high in the range between 3,50-4,00. Furthermore, from the influence of learning styles on learning outcomes obtained f count> f table thus Ho is rejected. Then it can be concluded that there is an influence of learning styles on student learning outcomes majoring in Social Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau. The contribution of learning styles to the learning outcomes of students majoring in Social Sciences Education in the Teaching and Education Faculty of Riau University is 40.7%. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between private tutoring and the application of the ruang guru. The population used in this study were all students of SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 35 students consisting of class X, XI, and XII at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru. The data was obtained by using a google form which contains a questionnaire and the value of tutoring and the ruang guru application. The research data was taken using purposive sampling with the criteria of the research sample being students who had taken private lessons and had used the ruang guru application. The data analysis technique used in this research is the independent t test. The results of this study indicate that private lessons with a percentage of 47% and a ruang guru application with a percentage of 64.7% are categorized very well for student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru based on the results of variable categorization. From the learning outcomes obtained, data. From the simple linear regression hypothesis test obtained, the data shows a significance > 0.05, this means that private tutoring and the application of the ruang guru have no effect in improving learning outcomes. From the independent t test, the results of the F test show that the F value is 0.424 with sig. 0.519. Because the value of sig > 0.05, the variance of the two groups is homogeneous. Therefore, the t test used is the top t test (pooled t test). The results of the t test found the t value of -1.784 with a sig (2-tailed) of 0.084. Because the value of sig > 0.05, information is obtained that there is no difference in the results of the questionnaire between private lessons and ruang guru application. This means, students who have taken lessons and have used the teacher's room both assume that following both can improve learning outcomes. From the statistical table performed in hypothesis testing using the independent t test, it shows that the average score of students who have used the ruang guru application is more effective in improving learning outcomes with a difference of 3.06. Then it was obtained information that using the ruang guru application was more influential in improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Private Tutoring, Ruang Guru Application, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:This research was motivated by the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process. Education is an absolute must for everyone where it will form a strong, qualified, authoritative, and have a knowledge and ability to live in accordance with the times. Throughout the history of curriculum development in Indonesia, Curriculum 2013 development was the most remarkable pro-contra. Curriculum improvement is actually a common thing, even in fact it is a necessity. It motivated the writer to take a title “The Implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn Learning Process in Senior High Schools throughout the City of Pekanbaru”.The formulation of the research are as follow: “How is the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process?” and “How is the difficulty level faced by PPKn teachers in Curriculum 2013?”. The objectives of the research are to find out the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning process and to find out the difficulty level faced by PPKn teachers in Curriculum 2013. The population of the research was 6 schools which implement Curriculum 2013, and the sample of the research was 15 PPKn teachers. The instrument to collect the data were questionnaires which consist of 76 questions, and interviews which consist of 4 questions. The data were analyzed by Qualitative Descriptive through percentage. Based on the calculation of percentage by respondents, the  answer “often” was obtained as 53,78376% placed on rank 34%-66% that was adequate. Thus, the hyphothesis which explains the PPKn teachers who were “adequate” toward the implementation of Curriculum 2013 in PPKn learning proces, was accepted. Based on the research findings, it can be inferred that a study on the PPKn teachers toward the implementation Curriculum 2013 in Senior High Schools throughout the city of Pekanbaru were adequate. Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the attitude of equality, regardless of sex, mutual respect that can instill a sense of sympathy and there is no discrimination in a learning process. The formulation of the problem in this research is How the influence of values of multiculturalism to the practice of the value of harmony of students of class X SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru, The purpose of this study is to know the extent to which the influence of the values of multiculturalism to value harmony students. This type of research is quantitative descrip- tive Research and Tech nik taking the sample used is random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were conducted by questionnaire to 77 respondents. Is known use values-the value of multiculturalism contributed 54% in affecting the value of harmony.while for the other 46% is influenced by other factors. The formulation of the hypothesis was formulated that is Influence Values Against Multiculturalism practice Harmony Value Class X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru is high means that the practice of value harmony student / I claas X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru with the percentage of 56.84%. These results indicate that the influence of significance based on testing conducted in this study showed that there were significant effects characterized by F count ≥ F tables or (9.502) ≥ (0.22242). Thus, Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected which means there is influence of values of multiculturalism, or the higher the influence of values of multiculturalism then the higher the practice of harmony values owned by students of class X in SMK Negeri 5 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Value, Multiculturalism, Concord

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of discipline and commitment to employee performance at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria in Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria in Singapore from May 2015 through October 2015. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. Population of more than 35 employees, including the manager and the sampling technique using saturated sample. Data collection instruments used were a questionnaire with Likert scale for the independent variables: the discipline (X1) and commitment (X2). Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The result showed that the discipline and commitment to simultaneously affect the performance of employees at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria in Pekanbaru. This is based on the results of analyzes, calculations show F count> F table (46.941> 3.29). While partially, disciplined significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria in Pekanbaru and commitments had no significant effect on the performance of employees at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria in Pekanbaru. This is evidenced by uni t, discipline variables obtained t 4.401> t table 1.69389 and variables obtained commitments 1,234 t <t table 1.69389. From the calculation of the coefficient of determination of discipline and commitment both have an influence on the performance of employees at PT. Asrindo Citraseni Satria by 74,6% and the remaining 25,4% are influenced by other factors not examined.Keywords: influence, discipline, commitment, employee performance

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the importance of professional competence with the results of student learning development. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the professional competence of Civics teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the professional competence of PPKn teachers on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam. This type of research used quantitative research. The population in this study were all students at SMP N 1 KubuBabussalam as many as 314 people with a total sample of 76 students. The technique used in sampling is the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire / questionnaire, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique that the researcher uses is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of teacher professional competence on student learning development outcomes, meaning that every time there is an increase in teacher professional competence, there will also be an increase in student learning development outcomes in a better direction. This is reinforced and supported by a significance smaller than the alpha value, which is 0.007 <0.05, meaning that the professional competence of teachers has a positive and significant effect on the results of student learning development at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir, RokanHilir. Furthermore, it can be seen that t count is greater than Fcount is greater than Ftable (7.748>3.96) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that teacher professional competence has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes at SMPN 1 KubuBabussalam, RokanHilir , RokanHilir.Key Word: Influence, Professional Competence, Learning Development Outcomes, PPKn

Abstract

Abstract : This research was motivated by the abuse of authority by apparatus of the central government or local government in Indonesia. With the law of enforcement of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), this proves that the duties and authority of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is deemed bad. With the background of the establishment of the KPK as the eradication and prevention of corruption in order to improve public services in Indonesia. So the writer was conducted a research entitled “Riau University Students’ Perception of the Duties and Authority of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)”. The formulation of the problem in this research “is how the Riau University Students’ perception on the duties and authority of KPK?”. This was aimed to know the Riau University students’ perception on the duties and authority of KPK. The sample in this research was selected by employing purposive sampling. There were 180 respondents and each faculty has 20 respondents. The data collection instrument was questionnaire and interview. There are fourteen (14) questions which are seven (7) questions for the duties of KPK and seven (7) questions for authority of KPK. Based on the data analysis, the students’ perception on the duties of KPK was rated as good with the percentage 61,51% and the percentage for authority of KPK was 68,74%. Based on both of indicators, the duties and authority of KPK, the average percentage was 60,24%, the respondents answered “good” in the range 50,01%-75%. It can be concluded that the duties and authority of KPK in good category.                                                                                            Keywords : Studen’s, Duties and Authority of Corruption Eradication Commission.

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of discipline behavior,so the writer decidedes that the litle of this study " the effect citizenship education learning toward discipline behavior VIII of junior high school 1 (SMPN 1) of Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District”. The problem of this research is how the effect citizenship education learning toward discipline behavior VIII of junior high school 1 (SMPN 1) of Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District. This study aims to find out the effect citizenship education learning toward discipline behavior VIII of junior high school 1 (SMPN 1) of Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District. This study uses a sample Non-Probability sampling is saturated. The sample consists of all of VIII grade student in Junior High School 1 (SMPN 1) Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District, they are 82 students. Data collection instruments consists of 33 questions, 16 questions for the X variables and 17 questions for the Y variable. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. Based on data analysis there are some the effect citizenship education learning toward discipline behavior VIII of junior high school 1 (SMPN 1) of Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District. This is proved by a series of simple linear regression test between the variables X and Y, obtained Fhitung 15.96 and Ftabel 3.96 value obtained from the study of the distribution of F table with N = 82, At significant level of 5%, thus Fhitung > Ftabel, or 15.96> 3.96. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is accepted that there is a significant the effect citizenship education learning toward discipline behavior VIII of junior high school 1 (SMPN 1) of Pangkalan Lesung Pelalawan District.Keywords: learning Citizenship Education.
