Abstract

Abstract: Critical discourse analysis sees language as an important factor is how the use of language to see the power imbalance that occurs in society. Based on this it can be said that basically discourse become an inseparable part of the process and mechanisms of power. The objectives of this study were: (1) determine the form of the discourse of power in Jokowi speech, (2) determine the function of the discourse of power in a speech Jokowi, and (3) know the power of discourse strategies in speech Jokowi. This study uses content analysis approach to be based on the theory of critical discourse analysis Norman Fairclough, which focuses on how the language becomes a means of achieving power.Key Words: critical discourse, power, shape the discourse of power, discourse function of power, discourse strategies of powerAbstrak: Analisis wacana kritis mencermati bahasa sebagai faktor yang penting yaitu bagaimana penggunaan bahasa untuk melihat ketimpangan kekuasaan yang terjadi dalam masyarakat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dinyatakan bahwa pada dasarnya wacana menjadi bagian yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari proses dan mekanisme kekuasaan.Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk wacana kekuasaan dalam tuturan Jokowi, (2) mendeskripsikan fungsi wacana kekuasaan dalam tuturan Jokowi, dan (3) mendeskripsikan strategi wacana kekuasaan dalam tuturan Jokowi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi dengan berpatokan pada teori analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough yang menitikberatkan pada bagaimana bahasa itu menjadi alat pencapaian sebuah kekuasaan.Kata Kunci: wacana kritis, wacana kekuasaan, fungsi wacana kekuasaan, strategi wacana kekuasaan

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop the authentic assessment of writing skills class VII in the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which includes a Free Assessment Task Authentic Authentic Writing and Writing. The method used is a model Reflective, Recursive Desaign and Development (R2D2) and Authentic Assessment model of O’Malley and Pierce with three main stages, namely: (1) pre-development stage, (2) development, and (3) test product. The result, in general, Authentic Assessment Guide Writing and Writing Task Autentik very worthy and ready for use. Results of the assessment experts and practitioners represents an average of 88.67%. Results of the assessment experts and practitioners to Task Authentic Writing Text Reports Observations, showed an average 89.33%, Authentic Writing Task 89.61% Description Text, Text Writing Task Authentic Exposition 91.16%, Authentic Writing Task explanatory text 91, 27%, and Tasks Text Authentic Writing Short Stories 91.16%.Key Words: assessment instrument, text, writtingAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat asesmen autentik keterampilan menulis kelas VII dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013, yang mencakup Panduan Asesmen Autentik Menulis dan Tugas Autentik Menulis. Metode yang digunakan adalah model Reflective, Recursive Desaign and Development (R2D2) dan model Asesmen Autentik O’Malley & Pierce dengan tiga tahap pokok, yakni: (1) tahap pra-pengembangan, (2) pengembangan, dan (3) uji produk. Produk penelitian ini berupa panduan asesmen autentik menulis dan tugas autentik menulis yang sangat layak dan siap digunakan. Hasil penilaian ahli dan praktisi terhadap semua produk menunjukkan rata-rata 88,67%. Hasil penilaian ahli dan praktisi terhadap tugas autentik menulis teks laporan hasil observasi, menunjukkan rata-rata 89,33%, tugas autentik menulis teks deskripsi 89,61%, tugas autentik menulis teks eksposisi 91,16%, tugas autentik menulis teks eksplanasi 91,27%, dan tugas autentik menulis teks cerita pendek 91,16%.Kata kunci: perangkat asesmen, teks, menulis

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to produce a teaching material of Arab-Melayu inscription for Indonesian literature students with expediently and effectively content, presentation, language, and display. This research use Team of Research Central of Educational SPolicy and Innovation’s research and development method. The result is a book and the tittle is Membuka Jendela Ilmu Pengetahuan Arab-Melayu.The trial results from matter expert obtained 90,7%, the result of the trial from studies design expert obtained 89,9%, the trial results from teacher obtained 80,6%, and student’s tes results obtained 92,8%. It’s mean that the product can be implemented. The results of effectively trial that show 70% students has high ability. So, the product can be effective for studies.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar tulisan Arab-Melayu untuk mahasiswa jurusan Sastra Indonesia dengan isi, penyajian, bahasa, serta kegrafikaan yang layak dan efektif untuk pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian prosedural serta metode penelitian dan pengembangan dari Tim Pusat Penelitian Kebijakan dan Inovasi Pendidikan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar berbentuk buku cetak berjudul Membuka Jendela Ilmu Pengetahuan Arab-Melayu. Berdasarkan ahli materi, produk mendapatkan penilaian sebesar 90,7%, ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 89,9%, praktisi dosen sebesar 80,6%, dan mahsiswa sebesar 92,8%. Dengan demikian produk dikategorikan dapat diimplementasikan. Berdasarkan uji keefektifan, diketahui bahwa 70% mahasiswa berkemampuan sangat tinggi, sehingga produk dapat dikatakan efektif untuk pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This developmental research of teaching materials for writing drama scripts which contain tolerance values was constructed based on the students’ need in writing drama scripts. The purpose of this research is to apply the values of tolerance in their daily life in writing drama scripts. This research uses the method of Borg and Gall which is modified into seven stages. Expert tests were carried out on tolerance material experts, teaching media development experts, and practitioners. In the expert test, it was found that the presentation feasibility score was 85%, the graphic feasibility was 83%, the language feasibility was 83%, and the tolerance value aspect was 90%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that teaching materials for writing drama scripts which contain tolerance values are very feasible and can be implemented for the students.Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini merupakan bahan ajar menulis drama bermuatan nilai toleransi ini dibuat berdasarkan kebutuhan siswa dalam menulis naskah drama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai toleransi dalam keseharian dalam naskah drama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dari Borg dan Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi tujuh tahapan. Uji produk dilakukan oleh ahli materi toleransi, ahli pengembangan media bahan ajar, dan praktisi. Dalam uji ahli didapatkan skor kelayakan penyajian 85%, kelayakan kegrafikan 83%, kelayakan bahasa 83%, dan aspek nilai toleransi 90%  Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, kesimpulannya adalah bahan ajar menulis naskah drama bermuatan nilai toleransi sangat layak dan dapat diimplementasikan.

Abstract

Abstract: Teaching materials are an important part of the learning process. Teaching materials developed in this research and development are teaching materials in the form of textbooks. The textbooks developed serve as reference material or supplement the main textbooks used in the learning process. The research was aimed to produce exposition text teaching materials based on local wisdom that meet the requirements of (1) valid, (2) systematic, (3) communicative, and (4) interesting. In research and development, expert validation is done to find out the validity of teaching materials. Based on data analysis from the validation of experts, practitioners and students it can be concluded that this teaching material is valid and ready to be implemented.Abstrak: Bahan ajar merupakan bagian penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah bahan ajar berupa buku teks. Buku teks yang dikembangkan berfungsi sebagai bahan acuan atau suplemen buku teks utama yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar teks eksposisi berbasis kearifan lokal yang memenuhi syarat (1) valid, (2) sistematis, (3) komunikatif, dan (4) menarik. Pada penelitian dan pengembangan, validasi ahli dilakukan untuk mengetahui kevalidan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan analisis data dari validasi ahli, praktisi, dan peserta didik dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar ini valid dan siap diimplementasikan.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the act of politeness directive form of Kindergarten’s teacher in studies interaction. This study use a qualitative research. While, the type of language research to study of sociopragmatics. The result shown that politeness language of Kindergarten’s teacher to extend directive act for students formed by (a) using diction, (b) using sentence, (c) using songs, and (d) using gestures. The diction which shows the politness is greeting words, passive verb di-, and tag ya. The sentence used is imperative sentences, introgative sentences, and declarative sentences.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kesantunan tindak direktif guru TK dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian bahasa dengan kajian sosiopragmatik. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kesantunan bahasa guru TK dalam memberikan tindak direktif kepada siswa diwujudkan melalui (a) penggunaan kata (diksi), (b) penggunaan kalimat, (c) penggunaan lagu, dan (d) penggunaan isyarat. Pilihan kata yang menunjukkan kesantunan, meliputi kata sapaan, kata kerja pembentuk pasif di-, dan interjeksi ya. Adapun kalimat yang digunakan yaitu kalimat imperatif, kalimat interogatif, dan kalimat deklaratif.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha mengulas bagaimana manfaat modal sosial bagi perkembangan usaha ekonomi produktif Karang Taruna Guyub Rukun 78 Desa Bantur. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis model interaktif milik Miles dan Huberman, yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: 1) pengumpulan data; 2) reduksi data; 3) penyajian data, dan; 4) kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial yang dimiliki antara lain: a) ketua, wakil, dan para anggota karang taruna memiliki jaringan/hubungan baik dengan para perangkat desa dan kecamatan; b) ketua, wakil, dan para anggota karang taruna selalu kompak dan gotong royong dalam menjalankan tiap program kegiatan; c) ketua, wakil, dan para anggota karang taruna memiliki slogan “Guyub Rukun” dalam segala macam situasi organisasi. Sedangkan manfaat dari jaringan (network) pada usaha ekonomi produktif milik karang taruna antara lain: 1) memperkenalkan usaha kepada masyarakat sekitar; 2) meningkatkan permintaan produk; 3)  menambah pemasukan kas karang taruna.Kata Kunci: ekonomi produktif; karang taruna; modal sosialDOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um022v6i22021p56

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of the formation of the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) in Malang and the form of Javanese cultural preservation carried out by the school of culture. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The process of extracting data was carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation, and literature study. The results showed that the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) was established to preserve the culture and artistic heritage of the ancestors, particularly Javanese culture and arts. The activities carried out at the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) include ngangsu kaweruh or conducting studies on cultural history and heritage arts (especially Javanese culture), and others. Based on the AGIL concept by Parsons, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) can survive and develop until today due to four aspects. The first is an adaptation, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) adapts by freeing people to participate in activities according to their interests and wishes, and free of charge. The second is goal achievement. The school has various activities that are used as a basis for achieving the goal, namely preserving Javanese culture. Then the integration is carried out through the formation of an organizational structure, as well as holding various activities and promotions. The last one is latency, the Tunggulwulung School of Culture (SBT) maintains patterns or systems through innovation in learning models, activities, and promotions.

Abstract

The Internet is believed to have changed reading habits: deep reading has shifted due to the easy access on the Net. This research is intended to unravel the reading behavior of Junior High School students in the Municipality of Malang. The results indicate that reading is not listed as a favorite past-time: they spend a little time  reading.  The  trend  is  that  they tend  to  spend  their  time  for  accessing  the Internet in a way different from that of the previous time. The analysis shows that there is a positive correlation between reading habit and reading variables related to the Internet.
