Abstract

Absrtract: This study aims to develop Redox and Elektrochemical Cells module based on problem solving in class XII SMA / MA which is valid based on content, presentation, linguistic, and graphic aspects. This type of research is a research and development (R & D with a 4-D development model that includes Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination. This research have done to development stage only. The object of this research is a problem-solving module. Data analysis technique is calculation of validation percentage and response questionnaire. The data instrument is validation sheets given to three validators and response questionnaire given to teachers and student. The average score of the variable number of the validity of the module by the validator team, namely the content, presentation, language, and graphics 93.45%, 88.54%, 90o% and 90%, respectively, with the overall average validation module validator team is 90.55% valid. The use of data analysis can be concluded that the Redox and Problem Solving-based electrochemical module can be developed and declared valid to be used for learning in SMA / MA equivalent.Key Words: Module, Problem Solving, Redox and Electrochemical Cell

Abstract

PD. Adi Anugrah“Food Industry” merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang makanan ringan berbahan dasar sumberdaya laut di kepulauan Riau. Dalam produksinya menerapkan sistem make to stok yaitu memproduksi bukan berdasar pesanan melainkan berdasarkan perkiraan penjualan, permasalahan perusahaan adalah stok barang di gudang yang tidak menentu karena faktor penjualan yang juga tidak menentu tergantung musiman pasar. Karena hal tersebut maka penelitian ini berkonsentrasi pada forcasting penjualan produk menggunakan metode exponential smoothing untuk mengetahu peramalaan penjualan periode yang akan datang dengan data-data histori perusahaan penjualan dari tahun sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa hasil peramaalan penjualan bisa digunakan sebagai daasar perusahaan untuk memproduksi selanjutnya sehingga perusahaan bisa memprediksi berapa jumlah yang akan diproduksi. Metode Single eksponential smoothing menghasilkan ramalan yang mendekati data historis yang sebenarnya yaitu 1200/bungkus dan hasil ramalannya adalah 1185/bungkus dengan menggunakan nilai alfa 0.8.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to improve the student activity and achievement used Beach Ball learning strategy on solubility equilibrium subject at XI MIPA 6 of Senior High School (SMAN) 5 Pekanbaru in academic year 2017/2018. This research was an action research with two cycle design. Each cycleconsisted of two meetings included four stages of implementation: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The collecting data used observation and test. The analysis data was describ with descriptively. The result of action showed that learning activity percentage of student improved and reached the success criteria. The learning activityof student percentage in first cycle was 57,24% with enough category and the secondcycle was 68,70% with good category. Student achievement was seen from mastery learning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of student achievement in the first cycle was 79,70% and the second cycle was 89,74%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that using IDEAL problem solving strategy can improve the activity and student achievement.Keyword: Beach Ball learning strategy, student learning activity, student achievement

Abstract

Teluk Jakarta adalah salah satu dari perairan Indonesia dengan berbagai macam kegiatan manusia. Semua area dapat meningkatkan jumlah pencemaran logam berat dalam air terutama yang bermuara ke Teluk Jakarta. Logam berat akan disimpan dan terakumulasi dalam air, sedimen dan hewan akuatik. Kerang hijau (Perna viridis) merupakan salah satu hewan air yang dibudidayakan di Teluk Jakarta sejak Tahun 1979. Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Jakarta menganalisis adanya kandungan logam berat pada kerang yang dibudidaya secara komersial di Cilincing dan Kamal Muara, Jakarta Utara. Dari kajian tersebut didapatkan data bahwa kerang yang  dibudidayakan di lokasi penelitian tidak cocok untuk konsumsi, karena memiliki kandungan logam berat yang tinggi. Kerang hijau ini lebih cocok untuk pembersih (purifier) lingkungan laut yang terkontaminasi logam berat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa polusi berdampak terhadap penurunan produktivitas budidaya kerang hijau. Potensi nilai ekonomis dan ekologis dari hilangnya dalam kasus pencemaran adalah Rp. 5.485.067.304 per hektar dan kemungkinan hilangnya pendapatan akibat polusi adalah Rp. 35.149.103.520 per tahun.Kata Kunci: Teluk Jakarta, Perna viridis, Logam Berat, Limbah, Valuasi Ekonomi.ABSTRACTJakarta Bay water is one of Indonesia waters which are teeming with various kinds of human activities. All area can continuously increase the amount of pollution especially heavy metal in water of Jakarta Bay. Heavy metal will deposited and accumulated in water, sediment and aquatic animal. Green mussel (Perna viridis) is one of the aquatic animals which cultivated in Jakarta Bay since 1979. Jakarta Maritime and Fishery Affairs Agency (2007) analyzed the heavy metal content of mussels farmed commercially in Cilincing and Kamal Muara, North Jakarta. From these explanations it can be said that the mussels are cultivated in the study site is not suitable for consumption, as it has a high content of heavy metals. Green mussel is more suitable for the purifier of marine environment that has been contaminated with heavy metals. Research result was which pollution impact on the reduction of green mussel farming productivity. Potential economic and ecological value of the loss in case of pollution is Rp.5.485.067.304 per hectareand the possible loss of revenue due to pollution is Rp. 35.149.103.520 per year.Keywords: Jakarta Bay, Perna viridis, Heavy Metal, Pollution, Valuation Economic.

Abstract

The study aims to develop POE-based learning resources in the form of modules for senior high school chemistry on the solution colligative properties subject. The research method used is development research. Development research used 4-D model which are carried out in four stage: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. In the research only on the stage of development. The developed POE-based learning source prototype was validated by 4 validators, 2 people as experts and 2 people as users. The research data was obtained through a validation sheet filled by the validator. The results of the assessment of the four validators in each aspect assessed by the category are very good.The conclusion shows that the POE-based modules produced for senior high school chemistry learning on solution colligative properties are valid in terms of content and construction.

Abstract

This research is aimed to grasp understanding about the improvement of students' courage in speaking through show and tell activity by using media of images for the 4th grader students in Jetis 2 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta. This is an action classroom research, which has been conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. The subject of this research is all 4th grader students of Jetis 2 Public Elementary School Yogyakarta, academic year of 2014/2015, which consists of 12 students, 6 male students and 6 female students. The data collecting techniques employed are observation and working performance by using indicator matrix of students' speaking courage, the skill of showing and telling and also the process of show and tell activities in class.In addition, this research also employs documentation technique, in the form of photos during the occurrence of the research process. The analysis technique in this research uses descriptive qualitative technique. The results of the research are presented as follow: show and tell method can improve the students' speaking courage 23,61% (formerly it was 55,38% reaching up to 78,99%), the skill of show and tell of 27,43% (from 56,25% reaching up to 83,68%) and the process show and tell is 9,03% (from 72,91% reaching up to 81,94%).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe the efforts in strengthening character education carried out through the implementation of child friendly education at SD Potrobangsan 1 Kota Magelang, including its obstacles and problem solving. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature. The subjects are the principle, teachers, parents, and students. The data collecting techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher implemented the interactive model of Miles and Huberman as the data analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. In validating the data, the researcher used resource and technical triangulation. The research result shows that (1) the strengthening of character education at SD Potrobangsan 1 Magelang is implemented through teacher modeling, more teacher attention to students, and habituation carried out by teachers continuously; (2) during the teaching learning process teachers are always friendly to students, always giving good advice, and preventing bad punishment in the forms of violence, and (3) forming school children friendly task force and providing its supporting facilities, i.e. child friendly library, children health centre (UKS), school canteen, water sanitation to wash students hands, wall of motivation, clean toilets, drumband extracurricular, boys scouting, wall magazine, and national days celebration. The obstacles faced by the school in implementing the program are the varied parenting patterns of the parents, the low economic condition of the parents, the lack of attention from the parents to the children, the social environment which is not condusive, and the fast development of technology. To solve the problems, the school carries out home visits and intensive communication with parents, orally and in written froms.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Problems of environmental became one of problem must be interested by public, One of them was the stain by ion lead (Pb2+). An experiment was conduct about the use of “Kayu Apu” (Pistia Stratiotes. L) as ion Pb2+ adsorbents before and after added supporting matrix (silica gel). This experiment worked with static method. The parameters were examined carefully: pH (2, 4, 6, 8, and 10), concentrate (10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 ppm), and contacted time (15, 30, 45, 60, and 75 minutes). pH, concentrate, and contacted time optimum for “Kayu Apu” before using supporting matrix (silica gel) successively 6, 50 ppm, 30 minute, with the adsorbtion efficiency: 89.16%. Besides, pH, concentrate, and contacted time optimum after using supporting matrix (silica gel) successively 4, 50 ppm, 45 minute, with the adsorbtion efficiency: 97.47%. Biomaterial of “Kayu Apu” has been given supporting matrix (silica gel) more efficiently than without supporter matrixs for adsorbing ion Pb2+.Keywords: pistia Stratiotes. L, biosorbent, silica gel, Pb2+

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model is aimed to know the improvement of critical thinking ability of students in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bangkinang Kota on colloidal material. This research method is experimental research with Randomized Control Group Prestest-Posttest design. The data collection instruments used through prerequisite data, pretest and posttet data are based on the H. Ennis indicator. Data analysis technique that is by normality test, homogeneity, hypothesis and improvement of critical thinking ability. Research shows that the application of learning model Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI) can increase students' critical thinking ability on colloid material in class XI MIA SMAN 2 Bangkinang Kota. Improved students' critical thinking skills are in the medium category with N-gain of 0.63.Key Words : SAVI Learning Model, Critical Thinking, Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: The research about Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model has been done in SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The purpose of study is to improve learning achievement of learners on the subject of solubility equilibrium in class XI science SMAN 2 Pekanbaru. The type of research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample of the study consisted of 2 classes, class XI MIA1 as experimental class and class XI MIA5 as the control class chosen randomly after homogeneity test. The experimental class is applied to the SSCS learning model, while the control class does not apply the SSCS learning model. The data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on the above analysis test data obtained thitung>ttabel that is 4,68 >1,66, meaning the impelementation of learning model SSCS can improve student learning achievement on the subject of solubility equilibrium in class XI science SMAN 2 Pekanbaru with category increase in learning achievement high that is 0,83.Keywords : Learning Achievement, SSCS Learning Model, Solubility Equilibrium
