Abstract

Disadari bahwa radikalisme dan  terorisme merupakan erosi kebangsaan yang mengancam keutuhan bangsa. Guna mendukung kebijakan deradikalisasi dilakukan penelitian terkait strategi penguatan ideologi Pancasila yang berorientasi  pada pemberdayaan warga berbasis komunitas dengan tujuan jangka panjang dapat mengikis paham radikalisme dan menguatkan ideologi Pancasila. Penelitian tahun pertama ini bertujuan  1) memetakan komunitas yang berkembang di  masyarakat Kota Surakarta 2) mengidentifikasi kegiatan dan program berbagai komunitas tersebut yang menunjang penguatan nilai-nilai Pancasila  di masyarakat.  Metode yang dipakai berupa kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, ditunjang  FGD, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Validitas menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, sedangkan  analisis data berupa teknik analisis interaktif.. Penelitian menemukan beberapa bentuk komunitas di masyarakat Kota Surakarta, antara lain: komunitas bismania, milanisiti, omah budaya, solo mengajar, cinta bumi, blusukan solo, sepeda onthel lawas, fotografi, dan hijabers. Kegiatan dan program yang dijalankan telah mencerminkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, meskipun secara langsung tidak disadari sepenuhnya bahwa kegiatan yang mereka lakukan adalah perwujudan  dari nilai-nilai Pancasila. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to apply the result of the previous studies on predictive models of banks soundness in the year of 1999-2004 in private national banks, in which the result showed poor performance as was indicated by Z-score calculation of the discriminatory function of the cut-off position on less soundness and unsoundness level.The study also examined whether the financial ratios that must be published according to SEBI No. 7/10/DPNP March 2005 are able to predict the level of banks soundness whenthey were implemented on the the discriminatory function.The research population was Indonesian Foreign Private Bank (BUSN). The secondary data used in this research were publications of financial statement during the five-yearperception time (2004-2008). The result of the research showed that the discriminatory function of previous research could apply to predict the soundness level of private foreignbanks in the period 2004-2008 and the financial ratios according to SEBI7/10/DPNP publication in March 2005 were not enough to predict the soundness ratings of Indonesia’s Foreign Private Banks.Keyworlds: soundness level of bank, Z-score, financial ratios

Abstract

The research tests the effect of the risk profile and the application of corporate governanceon financial performance at go-public national commercial bank. The data were taken fromtheir financial statement and GCG assessment published during 2008-2010, analyzed usingSEM with generalized structured component analysis (GSCA). It shows that risk profile has nosignificant and positive effect on the financial performance. Among the four risk profiles,liquidity risk has the best discriminate validity. However, GCG has significant and positiveeffect on the financial performance, and only financial and non financial transparency has thebest convergent validity. Banks five financial performance indicators have good validity.Beside, ROA, NIM and CAR have good validity in which ROA has the highest loading estimate.Keywords: good corporate governance, risk profile, profitability, capital

Abstract

This paper explained the potential threat among the university student, internal and external threat. Internal threat showed of skepticism on Pancasila ideology which triggered the disappointment on the state, the external threat was the other side efforts to socialized other ideology with various ways to decreased nationalism. The qualitative and quantitative data showed there area strong supports on Pancasila ideology among the majority of university student. The personality establishment course at the university’s rule was supporting the ideology establishment effort; however there were some problems which related to its learning, as the monotone lecturer learning model and grading instrument which was not appropriate with the measured competence. The developed model strategy was a contra ideology with unique steps.Keywords: Nationalism, Pancasila Ideology, Learning Model, Citizenship Education, and University.

Abstract

Abstrak: This research aimed to increase student achievement by application of active learning strategies types synergetic teaching on learning topic of Colloid in XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 3 as the experimental class, XI IPA 1 as the controll class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with the application of synergetic teaching active learning strategies while the control group without the application of synergetic teaching active learning strategies. The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 4,03 and ttable=1.66 with α=0,05, dk=67. tcount > ttable is 4.03> 1,66, It’s mean that the application of active learning strategies of synergetic teaching can improve students achievement on the subject of colloids in XI IPA class SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The raising student achievement category in the experimental class including a high score by normalized gain of 0,79.Keywords: Synergetic Teaching active learning strategies, learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract : This research is about the application of active learning the firing line strategy that has conducted to know the increasing of student’s learning achievement on chemical equilibrium topic in class XI IPA in 10 Senior High School Pekanbaru. This research was experiment by design pretest and posttest. The sample determined randomly after doing normality and homogeneity test of 5 classes as population and then class XI IPA 5 as experiment class and XI IPA 4 as class group. The experiment group was applied by the application of active learning the firing line strategy. The data analysis technique used was t - test. Based on the tabulation of last data obtained tcount>ttable was 2,36 ≥ 1,67 meant that the application of active learning the firing line strategy could increase the student’s learning achievement on Solubility and Constanta Solubility Product topic in class XI IPA in 10 Senior High School Pekanbaru. Category increase the student’s learning achievement trhough active learning the firing line strategy on the subject of chemical equilibrium is a high category of 0,77.Keywords: The Firing Line, Active Learning, Achievement, Chemical Equilibirium

Abstract

Background: Spring onion (Allium fistulosum L.) are known to contain saponin, tanin and flavonoid having larvicide effect. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of granules of spring onion extract (Allium fistulosum L.) on the Mortality of Aedes aegypti L. Larvae. Methods: This research was a laboratory experimental with the post test only controlled group design, which was done at “Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Vektor dan Reservoir Penyakit (B2P2VRP) Salatiga”, Central Java. The subject used in this research was third stage of Aedes aegypti L. larvae. Subjects were taken with incidental sampling technique. The numbers of the subjects were 175 larvae, divided into 7 groups, so each group contained 25 larvae. This treatment was repeated 4 times.  For the control group it was used 100 ml of water. The other six groups used granules solution of spring onion extract, that were 1,400 mg, 1,700 mg, 2,000 mg, 2,300 mg, 2,600 mg, and 2,900 mg per 100 ml of water. The observation was held after 24 hours then the number of dead larvae was counted. The data were analyzed using One Way ANOVA followed by LSD Post Hoc. Lethal Concentration (LC) value was determined using Probit analysis. Results: There were significant difference of larvicide effect caused by granules of spring onion extract treatment (p = 0.000). The number of dead larvae increased along with the increase in the concentration of granules. LSD test indicated that there was significant difference between two groups except between groups 2,600 mg/100 ml and 2,900 mg/100 ml. The results of probit analysis showed that LC50 was 1,620.55 mg/100 ml and LC99 was 3,333.89 mg/100 ml. Conclusion: The granules of spring onion (Allium fistulosum L.) extract can cause death of Aedes aegypti L. larvae with LC50 in level of 1,620.55 mg/100 ml and LC99 in level of 3,333.89 mg/100 ml. Abstract

Abstract: Has made the gived task to make concept map on the topic of colloid in class XI sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. This research aims to improve student achievement. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The population were all of the students of XI sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. The samples of this research were the students of class XI sains3 as the experimental class and students of class XI sains2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is gived task to make Concept Map while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test with dk is 59 and α is 0,05.before t-test has made,the sampels had normal distribution and homogeneus. Based on data analysis of data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,42>1.67, means that the gived task to make Concept Map can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class IX Sains MAN 1 Bengkalis. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,75. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,66.Keywords : Achievement, Concept Map, Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: Has conducted a comparative study to find out significant differences in student’s achievement and to determine student’s achievement higher between implementation of cooperative learning models TSTS and TPS on learning topic of Atomic Structure and Elements of the Periodic System at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This is an true experimental research with Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted of 2 experimental classes with the implementation of cooperative learning models TSTS and TPS, and 1 control class. Research data analysis using ANOVA one way followed by Scheffe multiple comparison test. Based on the results of data processing by ANOVA one way obtained that Fcount > Ftable is 15,37 > 3,08 which shows that there are significant differences in student achievement between the experimental class TSTS, TPS, and control class. The results of data processing by Scheffe multiple comparison test was obtained the difference between the average experimental class of TSTS and TPS exceeded the values Scheffe is 4,79 > 4,68 and an average experimental class of TSTS higher than average experimental class of TPS is 54,1 > 49,31 which shows that there are significant differences in student’s achievement between implementation of cooperative learning models TSTS and TPS. Student’s achievement with implementation of cooperative learning models TSTS higher than TPS on learning topic of Atomic Structure and Elements of the Periodic System in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.Keywords: TSTS, TPS, Learning Achievement, Atomic Structure and Elements of the Periodic System

Abstract

Abstract : Generally Madrasah has weak competitiveness in many sectors. One of them is the availability and management of human resources that is less optimal. This has led to the low professionalism of human resources who manage educationinstitutions of Madrasah in Indonesia. As a result, the quality of Madrasah is still left behind by other public educational institutions. Some efforts to achieve a qualified Madrasah especially in terms of availability of professional human resources have been experiencing significant constraints, so that the level of public and government appreciation is relatively less. To improve the performance of Madrasah which is currently underestimated compared to the public schools, it is suggested to implement Total Quality Management (TQM) simultaneously. The application of TQM in Madrasah as Islamic education institution is obviously important to improve and maintain the quality of Madrasah. The implementation of human resourcemanagement at Madrasah is very effective in managing the teachers and education staffs in establishing and maintaining the quality of institutions. This is due to the fact that human factor (teacher and education staff) is the most strategic element in the management of Madrasah as Islamic educational institutions.
