Abstract

Komite sekolah memberikan pengawasan, nasehat, mediasi, dan dukungan terhadap penyelenggaraan pendidikan di sekolah. Komite berperan sebagai jembatan antara orang tua dan pihak sekolah untuk mewujudkan mutu sekolah yang baik. Pemenuhan pelayanan dasar disekolah yakni antara lain membatasi jumlah siswa didalam setiap kelas, memiliki buku pengayaan dan buku referensi, memastikan bahwa guru bekerja 37,5 jam setiap minggu dan sekolah menjalankan proses pembelajaran selama 34 minggu per tahun. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan komite sekolah dapat diperkuat pemahamannya dalam mendukung kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa. Mulai dari proses perencanaan penganggaran sampai kepada pelaporan program yang dilakukan oleh sekolah. Hasil evaluasi tahap pertama menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman komite sekolah terhadap regulasi yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah menunjukkan bahwa komite sekolah sangat rendah dalam memahami semua peraturan itu setelah dilakukan pelatihan dan evaluasi hasil yang tidak maksimal ini berubah menjadi pengetahuan yang tinggi hal ini dibuktikan melalui angka pemahaman yang meningkat 51% serta yang sangat paham menjadi 40%.

Abstract

The objectives of writing this article are (1) To see the role of social movements in response to the development of Waterfront City/coastal reclamation in Majene Regency. (2) Studying the process of Waterfront City/reclamation development in the coastal area of Majene City. (3) Analyze the implications of Waterfront City/coastal reclamation development on the environment and the socio-economic conditions of fishing communities. The development of Waterfront City in Majene Regency significantly affects the lives of fishing communities and local wisdom. This project threatens their livelihoods that have been dependent on the sea, forcing them to look for alternative jobs due to environmental changes that occur. The method used in this article is descriptive analytical research method. The importance of previous environmental studies is undeniable as it helps identify and mitigate negative impacts, such as coral reef damage that may arise from reclamation. Strict regulations and the application of high standards are vital to ensure the viability of the project. The findings of the environmental assessment related to Waterfront City also indicated potential environmental threats that must be addressed immediately. Fishing communities are fighting in various ways, including direct protests, to protect their environment, cultural heritage and livelihoods from the threats of the project. In the face of these challenges, fishing communities, such as the Alliance to Save Sul-Bar Fishermen and Coastal Areas, continue to work to protect the environment from the negative impacts of Waterfront City development in Majene Regency

Abstract

Desa transisi merupakan daerah, yang mengalami peralihan, dari kehidupan tradisional menuju modernisasi.  Para subyek , yang terdapat dalam komunitas tersebut, mengalami tantangan  dalam menjaga relasi sosial dan kerukunan keagamaan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkan, pembinaan social keagamaan, pada Komunitas Tandara di Desa Kaili, Sulawesi Selatan.  Metode pengabdian dilakukan secara langsung melalui ceramah agama dan diskusi partisipatif di masjid, serta melalui media sosial seperti WhatsApp.  Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya kepemahman terhadap kerukunan, keharmonian hidup, dan peningkatan terhadap nilai-nilai kehidupan dalam kehidupan keagamaan dan bermasyarakat.  Pengabdian ini,  dapat memberikan daya rekat yang kuat dalam membangun relasi dan tatanan sosial yang lebih bermartabat pada komunitas sasaran.Abstract. Transitional villages are areas experiencing a transition from traditional life to modernization.  The subjects, who are in this community, experience challenges in maintaining social relations and religious harmony. This service aims to promote socio-religious development in the Tandara Community in Kaili Village, South Sulawesi.  The service method is carried out directly through religious lectures and participatory discussions in mosques, as well as through social media such as WhatsApp.  The results show an understanding of harmony, harmony of life, and an increase in life values in religious and social life.  This dedication can provide a strong adhesive force in building relationships and a more dignified social order in the target community.

Abstract

This study examines the obstacles in implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students’ critical thinking skills at SMA Negeri 7 Bone. The main challenges identified are limited learning resources, low student literacy, and high levels of student demotivation. Data were collected through interviews with teachers and analyzed using qualitative methods. The findings reveal that insufficient textbooks, weak internet access, and a lack of digital media hinder students' independent exploration and active participation. Low literacy skills reduce students' ability to analyze and understand information, while demotivation limits their engagement in learning activities. These factors collectively obstruct the development of critical thinking as intended by the PBL model. Addressing these issues requires a holistic approach involving improved learning resources, literacy programs, and motivational support to create an effective and active learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1) bagaimana bentuk pelayanan diskriminatif di RSUD Bulukumba sebagai badan layanan publik; 2) bagaimana upaya yang dilakukan untuk menanggulangi perilaku diskriminatif dalam hal pelayanan publik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Jumlah informan dalam hal penelitian ini sebanyak 10 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Terdapat beberapa tindakan-tindakan yang bersifat diskriminatif pada pelayanan Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Bulukumba sebelum dilakukannya berbagai upaya untuk menghilangkan perilaku dikriminatif tersebut. Adapun perilaku yang dianggap sebagai perilaku diskriminatif pada pelayanan Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Bulukumba kepada pasien adalah dengan mengeyampingkan pelayanan kepada pasien dengan status BPJS, dan lebih memprioritaskan pasien dengan status reguler. Hal ini berlaku baik dari segi penerimaan, ketersediaan, dan keterjangkauan pasien. (2) Terdapat berbagai upaya yang dilakukan oleh pihak rumah sakit dalam mengupayakan hilangnya perilaku diskriminatif pada pelayanan rumah sakit umum Bulukumba yakni dengan melakukan pelayanan yang transparan, serta menyediakan berbagai platform pengaduan dan melakukan evaluasi pelayanan.

Abstract

This research aimed to identify: 1) The role of Indonesian Family Planning Association (PKBI) peers in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City, and 2) The driving and inhibiting factors influencing PKBI peers in handling gender-based violence in Makassar City. This study was qualitative in nature and employed a descriptive approach. The number of informants in this research was 11 people, selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria including PKBI youth administrators, PKBI program implementers, staff of the Makassar City UPTD PPA, and victims of gender-based violence. The validity of the data was examined using triangulation, including technique triangulation and source triangulation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis included data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed that the roles of PKBI peers in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City included: a) the role as counselors, b) the role as medical personnel, c) the role as facilitators, d) the role as motivators, and e) the role as educators. The driving factors included: a) humanitarian pioneering, b) inter-institutional synergy, c) institutional networks or connections, d) program demands, and e) donor support. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in addressing gender-based violence in Makassar City included: a) the busy schedules of PKBI youth, b) victims’ unwillingness to report, c) victims’ withdrawal during the handling process, and d) limited funding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui; 1) Adanya penggaruh interaksi teman sebaya dan pekerjaan orangtua terhadap minat melanjutkan Pendidikan perguruan tinggi di Desa Buntu Barana Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang 2) Adanya pengaruh pekerjaan orangtua terhadap minat melanjutkan Pendidikan pergurun tinggi di Desa Buntu Barana Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang 3) Adanya pengaruh interakasi teman sebaya dan pekerjaan orangtua terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan perguruan tinggi di Desa Buntu Barana Kecamatan Curio Kabupaten Enrekang .Jenis penelitian ialah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Dalam pengambilan besaran sampel ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin, teknik sampel dilakukan melalui Random Sampling diperoleh sampel sebanyak 62 responden. Pengambilan dilakukan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas menggunakan teknik korelasi Bivariate Person dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the family socialization function on preventing dating violence among high school students in South Sulawesi. A quantitative approach was used, collecting data through questionnaires from 208 high school students in South Sulawesi. The sampling technique employed was random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the family socialization function significantly prevented dating violence. The coefficient of determination of 0.895 indicates that the socialization function accounts for 89.5% of the variation in dating violence prevention. This study provides important implications for stakeholders, including schools, families, and local governments, to develop targeted strategies for preventing dating violence. The findings highlight the crucial role of adequate family socialization in shaping healthy, non-violent relationships among adolescents. Future research could explore specific socialization strategies and their long-term impacts on relationship dynamics and violence prevention in diverse cultural contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the forms of social interaction among the elderly at the "Gau Mabaji" Center in Romangloe Village, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency; (2) the forms of interaction between the elderly and caregivers/staff at the same center; and (3) the impacts of such social interactions on the elderly. This is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research involved eight informants, consisting of four elderly individuals aged over 70 and four social workers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured through triangulation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results of the study show that: (1) social interaction among the elderly tends to be simple and falls into two categories: associative and dissociative, influenced by similarities in age, life experiences, and emotional needs; (2) interactions between the elderly and caregivers are more complex due to differing social roles, leading to various forms of interaction ranging from cooperation to conflict, depending on emotional, professional, and interpersonal communication factors; and (3) social interactions have both positive and negative impacts on the elderly.

Abstract

This research aims to determine 1) The effect of the pretest on students' learning motivation in the sociology subject class XI IPS at UPT SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto. 2) The influence of the posttest on students' learning motivation in the sociology subject class XI IPS at UPT SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto. 3) The influence of the pretest and posttest together on students' learning motivation in the sociology subject class XI IPS at UPT SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto. This type of research is quantitative research using a descriptive approach, the population in this study was 154 people. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, using simple random sampling techniques, samples were taken from a total population of 25% of 154 students, namely 40 respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation. The validity test uses the bivariate human correlation technique and the reliability test uses the Cronbach's alpha technique. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis using IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of this research show 1) The influence of the pretest on students' sociology learning motivation, obtained a correlation of 0.757, indicating that the relationship between the pretest and students' sociology learning motivation is in the medium category and has a positive direction. 2) The influence of the posttest on learning motivation obtained a correlation of 0.666, which shows that the relationship between the posttest and students' sociological learning motivation is in the medium category and has a positive relationship direction. 3) The influence of the pretest and posttest on student learning motivation where the correlation coefficient value is 0.760. It is in the medium category and has a positive relationship.
