Abstract

Stunting is a chronic condition that describes growth retardation due to long-term malnutrition. Prevalenced of stunting in Cempaka subdistrict in 2017 reached 51.25% and the stunting incidence was widely found in toddler aged 24 – 59 month. The purpose of study was to analyze the risk factors of stunting in toddler age 24 - 59 month in Cempaka subdistrict, Banjarbaru. The research was an observational analytic with case control approached. The sample was 200 peoples included mothers and toddlers aged 24-59 months according to the inclusion criteria. Subject selection by cluster random sampling for selected the group’s sample and simple random sampling for selected its sample. The data was tested using Chi Square and logistic regression at significance level α = 0.05. This analysis was performed to find the association of stunting with selected factors. The resulted of the multivariate analysis showed short birth’s length had (p=0.00; OR 14.1) and the age 24-36 month had (p=0.01; OR 1.6) while mother’s height, sex, socioeconomic status, parent’s educational status, mother’s age married, mother's malnutrition status, birth weight, exclusive breastfeeding and complementary food’s time is not a factor in stunting. The conclusion of this study that short birth’s length and aged 24 – 36 month are the most dominant risk factor of stunting in toddler aged 24 – 59 month.

Abstract

Candi Borobudur yang merupakan warisan budaya UNESCO dijadikan Kawasan destinasi super prioritas yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Pada saat ini kunjungan wisatawan Candi Borobudur mencapai sekitar 2 juta wisatawan baik wisatawan domestik maupun wisatawan asing. Karakteristik pengunjung yang berbeda – beda berpengaruh dalam pemilihan moda transportasi yang digunakan untuk menuju kawasan Candi Borobudur. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari model probabilitas pemilihan moda transportasi untuk menuju Candi Borobudur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode stated preference dan pemodelan menggunakan model logit.Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan dari atribut yang digunakan yaitu atribut biaya, waktu tempuh, kenyamanan dan keselamatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pemilihan moda dengan R2 diatas 0,95. Jika terjadi perubahan pada keempat atribut yang digunakan yaitu biaya, waktu tempuh, kenyamanan dan keselamatan maka akan berpengaruh pada probabilitas pemilihan moda yang akan digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi atas hasil studi literatur dan observasi di lapangan, diantaranya berdasarkan data terbaru dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Pandeglang Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT) dari tamatan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) masih menjadi penyumbang yang paling tinggi dibandingkan tamatan jenjang pendidikan lainnya, peningkatan angka pengangguran yaitu sebesar 9,24% dari 7,70%. Selain itu, dari hasil pengamatan, terlihat bahwa masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum memiliki kesiapan kerja yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian survei dengan pendekatan Ex-Post Facto. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMKN 2 Pandeglang pada siswa kelas 12. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar angket uji coba instrumen kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja, praktik kerja industri, dan kesiapan kerja.  Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel kompetensi keahlian terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0.554 dengan kontribusi sebesar 30,7%, (2) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel motivasi kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien korelasi = 0.607 dengan kontribusi sebesar 36,8%, (3) terdapat pengaruh positif antara variabel praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai koefisien regresi = 0.889 dengan kontribusi sebesar 79%, (4) terdapat pengaruh positif antara kompetensi keahlian, motivasi kerja, dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Kelas XII TITL SMKN 2 Pandeglang dengan nilai korelasi = 0,892 dengan kontribusi sebesar 79,5%..

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Alsintan Service Business (UPJA) in the Beginner class, Developing class, and Professional class. The research was conducted using survey techniques and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using a balanced scorecard (BSC) approach. UPJA samples were determined purposively, namely UPJA that represents each class: UPJA Sumber Makmur as UPJA Professional class, UPJA OJHA as UPJA Beginner class in Sleman Regency, and UPJA Tirtosari as UPJA Developing class in Gunungkidul Regency. Respondents were UPJA managers and employees. The results showed that, based on the financial perspective, the performance of the UPJA Beginner class and UPJA Developing class was fairly good, while the UPJA Professional class was good. Based on the customer's perspective, UPJA's performance in all classes falls into the good category. Based on the perspective of internal business processes, the performance of the three UPJA classes has innovated the development of service business services and has carried out service business operations in the medium category. Based on the perspective of learning and growth, the performance of all UPJA classes already provides satisfactory facilities for their employees. However, the UPJA Beginner class and Developing class need to improve the ability of its operators through training. Abstract

The objective of this study is to create a variable frequency drive (VFD) trainer kit, assess the practicality of the developed VFD educational tool, and evaluate its impact on the academic performance of industrial electronic engineering students, particularly in the area of electronic control systems. The study utilizes the ADDIE model and customized to meet the requirements and consists of the following phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. There were 130 respondents consisting of 122 vocational students, 1 industry expert/practitioner in the field of VFD, 1 vocational training center instructor, 4 vocational teachers, and 2 lecturers. Data were collected using questionnaires with 4 Likert scales from strongly agree to strongly disagree, feasibility assessment sheets from media experts and material experts, interviews, and electronic control system learning outcomes tests. The learning media receives a “highly feasible” and the job sheet obtains 67 “highly feasible”. Moreover, the level of effectiveness of the learning media receives a score of 0.724, indicating high effectiveness. Therefore, they have proven to be effective in enhancing student learning outcomes and developing their proficiency in controlling the speed of electric motors. This will help bridge the gap between the industry's skill requirements and the skills taught in schools.

Abstract

The research discussed the development of a face recognition technology for the login system of an e-commerce website. The study's main focus was enhancing the security and efficiency of online transactions through the use of biometric identification systems. The researchers implemented a Face Recognition Login Website using a CNN, known for its ability to extract features and classify faces effectively. The research involved various stages, such as data collection through a web camera, data pre-processing, and the design of a CNN architecture with feature learning and classification layers. By deploying this CNN-based facial recognition technology on e-commerce websites, the researchers expect to add an extra layer of security, boost user trust, and offer a safer and more convenient online transaction experience.

Abstract

Evaluation of the electrical installation of a building is something that needs to be done so that the quality of the electrical installation remains in good condition and reliability. This research aims to evaluate the lighting system. Energy needs are currently playing an increasingly important role in human life, one of which is the problem that arises in the use of energy consumption in the New Classroom Building (RKB) at SMK Negeri 1 Kramatwatu. This research aims to determine the value of energy requirements in the RKB building (IKE, kWh , kVA and Cost Tariff), the RKB building is a building that has 2 floors with a total of 12 classrooms, this building was established at the end of 2023, the RKB building has never had an Energy Audit which is useful for identifying inefficient energy use, this energy audit can reduce energy use in order to increase the level of efficiency. To find out the results with data that has been collected using manual calculations and lighting simulations using DIALux software version 12.1. This RKB building uses energy of 17,154kWh/day, 85,770kWh/week, 343,080kWh/month and 4,322,960kWh/year. 226,925VA/Day, 1,134,625VA/Week, 4,538.5VA/Month and 54,462VA/Year. and customer rates Rp. 19,061;/Day, Rp. 95,308;/week, Rp. 381,234;/Month and Rp. 4,574,808;/Year on consumption of lighting power loads and other power loads.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the diameter increment and height increment, growth and development of Samama Plants (Anthocephalus marcophyllus) as well as environmental factors that influence the growth of Samama Plants (Anthocepalus marcophyllus). This research was carried out in Block III of Samama Plants (Anthocephalus marcophyllus) in the Seed Source Demonstration Plot in Hatusua Village, Kairatu District, West Seram Regency. Initial data was taken in January 2022 and continued with final data collection in July 2022. This research uses a quantitative analysis method by calculating the Average Annual Increment (MAI), current annual increment (CAI) and analysis simple regression. The results of further research show that the growth of Samama (Anthocephalus marcophyllus) plants in the seed source demonstration plot of Hatusua village, West Seram Regency with a Current Annual Rate (CAI) diameter in 2022 is 1.2 (cm/tnm/yr) and an average annual increase (MAI) diameter is 3.05 (cm/tnm/yr), current annual increment (CAI) is high, namely 1.77 (m/tnm/yr) and average annual increment (MAI) is high, namely 2.93 (m /tnm/yr). The development of the Samama plant in measurements in 2022, the walnut plant has developed. From the results of research in 2022, the growth of the Samama plant is at the pole and tree level. There are 8 trees on the pole with diameters ranging from 14.5 – 20.

Abstract

The village of Tial, located in the Salahutu Subdistrict, has a mangrove forest that plays an important role in protecting the coast from erosion. However, many people are unaware of the species of mangroves and the extent of the damage occurring. This study aims to determine the structure of the mangrove forest community, the level of damage, and the factors causing the damage. The methods used were quantitative descriptive methods in the form of surveys and observations, with the sampling technique being the Census method. The main data variables needed include the measurement of diversity index parameters and important value index (IVI) parameters, which include: density, relative density, frequency, relative frequency, dominance, and relative dominance. The results of this study indicate that the community types found on the coast of Tial Village are Sonneratia alba, Aegiceras floridum, Rhizophora mucronata, and Lumnitzera racemosa. The level of damage to the mangrove forest falls into the category of damaged (sparse), with a density level of <1000 trees/ha, specifically seedlings at 112/ha, saplings at 455/ha, and trees at 178/ha, and it has a diversity index H'<1, specifically seedlings at 0.63, saplings at 0.74, and trees at 1.16. The factors causing the damage to the mangrove forest on the coast of Tial Village include a lack of nutrient elements, lichen fungi, waste, abrasion and light intensity.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 dan upaya mitigasinya meningkatkan risiko wasting balita yang sebelumnya sudah ada. Wasting mengancam kelangsungan hidup dan meningkatkan risiko kematian balita. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penyakit infeksi, hygiene sanitasi, dan pendapatan keluarga terhadap terjadinya wasting balita di masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian observasional analitik design case control dilakukan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Mangli-Jember sejak bulan Agustus hingga September 2021. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Total sampel penelitian sebesar 174 balita terdiri dari 60 balita wasting sebagai kelompok kasus dan 114 balita normal sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dengan metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner serta dianalisis menggunakan chi square test dan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyakit infeksi (p=0,015; OR 2,25; CI=1,019-4,993), hygiene sanitasi (p=0,015; OR 2,76; CI=1,038-7,386), dan pendapatan keluarga (p=0,007; OR 3; CI=1,041-8,699) mempengaruhi terjadinya wasting balita di masa pandemi COVID-19. Diperlukan penguatan edukasi masyarakat tentang gizi balita, wasting, dan perilaku hidup bersih sehat melalui media sosial dan aplikasi pemantauan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak yang mudah diakses oleh ibu balita. Kata kunci: Penyakit infeksi, Hygiene sanitasi, Pendapatan, Wasting Balita
