Abstract

Teaching and evaluation strategies greatly influence success in fostering students' creative thinking abilities. The objectives of this study are to (1) examine various literature on creative thinking; (2) examine various indicators of creative thinking skills; (3) investigate various teaching strategies to improve creative thinking skills and their evaluation instruments. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data in the study is in the form of secondary data in the form of research journals that examine the scope of students' creative thinking. Data analysis techniques use Miles and Huberman's model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The number of articles found was 117 articles using the help of journal indexers such as Scopus, google scholar, Eric, and DOAJ. This study decided to review 36 articles based on the results of data reduction carried out from 117 articles. The conclusion of this study is that studying various proven theories and applying them in the classroom is the most appropriate step as a strategy to improve students' creative thinking skills. These strategies include active learning models such as: based learning projects, cooperative learning, problem based learning, and discovery/ based inquiry.

Abstract

Perempuan memiliki beragam bahasa yang ditampilkan dalam media daring. Penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian memiliki dua tujuan, yakni (1) mengungkap posisi subjek-objek, (2) mengungkap posisi objek-subjek pada media darin Tribun Timur.com dan Kompas.com. Fokus penelitian ini ada dua, yakni (1) berdasar pada posisi subjek-objek, (2) berdasar pada posisi objek-subjek dalam media daring Tribun Timur.com dan Kompas.com. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teori Sara Mills. Sumber data dari penelitian ini ialah teks berita berupa kata,frasa dan kalimat dalam media daring Tribun Timur.com dan Kompas.com. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik identifikasi, klasifikasi, analisis, penyimpulan hasil analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kalimat aktif yang mendominasi posisi subjek-objek berupa kalimat aktif, struktur makro, kalimat relasional, kalimat ekspresif, kata tugas, dan kalimat eksperensial. Posisi objek-subjek berupa kalimat pasif, struktur makro, kalimat relasional, kalimat ekspresif, kata tugas dan kalimat eksperensial pada teks berita media daring Tribun Timur.com dan Kompas.com. kontribusi penelitian terhadap guru dapat menjadikan bahan ajar dalam teks berita, terhadap masyarakat dapat menjadi acuan bahasa yang digunakan ketika menjadi narasumber. Penelitian kedepan dapat menjadi aspek bahasa terhadap semua penelitian khususnya wacana kritis.

Abstract

Rawa Paya Nie mengalami alih fungsi lahan dari daerah resapan air menjadi daerah persawahan  dan perkebunan kelapa sawit. Kondisi ini menyebabkan berkurangnya debit air di kawasan Paya Nie, sehingga mengganggu fungsi Paya Nie sebagai embung alami untuk pengairan bagi sawah – sawah yang ada di sekitarnya. Guna melestarikan ekosistem Paya Nie dan kearifan budaya yang berkembang di Blang Mee, maka perlu adanya upaya pelestarian berkelanjutan tersebut. PT PIM sebagai perusahaan yang memiliki komitmen penuh dalam tanggung jawab sosial dan lingkungan, turut menjawab permasalahan dan memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat Blang Mee melalui program Paya Nie Lestari, Damai, dan Berdaya. Tujuan dilaksanakan program pengabdian ini adalah untuk: Melestarikan ekosistem Paya Nie, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk melestarikan lingkungan, meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat, dan melestarikan budaya dan kearifan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian dirancang untuk pendampingan yang berupa pendekatan partisipasif dan mangacu pada proses pembelajaran orang dewasa (adult-learning). Hasil pengabdian diperoleh bahwa program pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM) sangat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat Payanie. Program yang diselenggarakan di Ekoduwisata Paya Nie juga didukung oleh instansi, mulai dari perusahaan, pemerintahan, hingga kelompok masyarakat. Biasanya pemasukan dalam bentuk penyediaan makanan dan minuman atau konsumsi, serta dari produk barang anyaman yang laku terjual, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat yang akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Payanie.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effect of incentives and job commitment on employee work performance in the Health Service and SDK Division of the Health, Population Control, and Family Planning Office of Lingga Regency. Primary data, which was obtained through questionnaires and direct interviews with 39 employees, was the type of data utilized. Various methods, such as observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires, are employed to collect data. Data analysis was carried out using validity and reliability tests and multiple linear regression to evaluate the effect of independent variables on dependent variables. The analysis results show that incentives significantly affect work performance, with a determination coefficient of 66.1%. In comparison, task commitment has a significant effect with a determination coefficient of 53.7%. The t-test and F-test support the hypothesis that both independent variables significantly affect work performance. These findings provide important insights for management in designing incentive strategies and increasing task commitment to improve employee performance in the health sector. This study is expected to be a reference for further research on factors influencing work performance in public service organizations

Abstract

Abstract. This research is an experimental study using a one-group pretest-posttest Design. In this study, a pre-test was conducted before the treatment, and a post-test was conducted after the treatment. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Mind Mapping method on the reading comprehension skills of Arabic among eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Majene. The independent variable in this research is the Mind Mapping method, while the dependent variable is the student's reading comprehension skills in Arabic. The population of this study consists of five classes with a total of 132 students. The sample was selected using the Simple Random Sampling technique, and the sample for this study was class VIII E, consisting of 32 students. Data for this study were collected by administering written pre-tests and post-tests on "Time." The results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the decision-making criteria, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be interpreted that the Mind Mapping method significantly affects the Arabic reading comprehension skills of eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 2 Majene.Keywords: Mind Mapping Method, Reading Skills

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah di SD Inpres Tasiu II Kecamatan Kalukku Kabupaten Mamuju. Dimulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, tindak lanjut, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan supervisi  kepala sekolah di SD Inpres Tasiu II Kecamatan Kalukku Kabupaten Mamuju. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan data melaui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, pertama, perencanaan kegiatan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dimulai dengan pembuatan program supervisi, kemudian disosialisasikan kepada semua guru agar mempersiapkan segala hal yang menjadi tanggung jawab dalam pelaksanaan supervisi tersebut. Perencaan supervisi berpedoman pada hasil supervisi sebelumnya.  Kedua, pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah di SD Inpres Tasiu II menggunakan teknik kelompok dan perorangan, tetapi lebih sering menggunakan teknik berkelompok. Dalam melaksanakan supervisi, kepala sekolah melibatkan guru senior seperti wakasek kurikulum. Ketiga, kegiatan program tindak lanjut supervisi akademik di SD Inpres Tasiu II hanya berupa pembinaan yang bersifat umum yang dilakukan dalam rapat dewan guru, selanjutnya guru diharapkan meningkatkan kompetensinya melalui kegiatan KKG atau kegiatan lain yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kompetensi guru. Keempat, faktor pendukung pelaksaan supervisi kepala sekolah di SD Inpres Tasiu II antara lain adalah kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru,respon positif dari guru terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi, keterlibatan pengawas sekolah yang senantiasa memberikan bimbingan baik kepada guru maupun kepala sekolah, dan kerjasama antara warga sekolah. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah efektivitas pelaksanaan kegiatan di sekolah yang berhubungan dengan padatnya kegiatan belajar mengajar dan kegiatan sekolah lainnya yang menjadikan jadwal pelaksanaan supervisi tidak dapat terlaksana sesuai waktu yang telah ditentukan, serta kesibukan kepala sekolah dalam urusan kedinasan lainnya.  Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa, Implementasi supervisi kepala sekolah di SD Inpres Tasiu II telah terlaksana walaupun tidak sesuai dengan jadwal yang  direncanakan. This research aims to determine the implementation of academic supervision of school principals at SD Inpres Tasiu II, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency. Starting from planning, implementation, follow-up, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of principal supervision at SD Inpres Tasiu II, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of this research conclude that, first, planning the school principal's academic supervision activities begins with creating a supervision program, then socializing it to all teachers to prepare everything that is their responsibility in implementing the supervision. Supervision planning is guided by the results of previous supervision. Second, the implementation of academic supervision by the principal at SD Inpres Tasiu II uses group and individual techniques, but more often uses group techniques. In carrying out supervision, the principal involves senior teachers such as the deputy head of curriculum. Third, the academic supervision follow-up program activities at SD Inpres Tasiu II only take the form of general guidance carried out at teacher council meetings, then teachers are expected to increase their competence through KKG activities or other activities related to increasing teacher competence. Fourth, factors supporting the implementation of principal supervision at SD Inpres Tasiu II include the competence of teachers, positive responses from teachers to the implementation of supervision, the involvement of school supervisors who always provide guidance to both teachers and principals, and cooperation between the school community. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the effectiveness of implementing activities at school which is related to busy teaching and learning activities and other school activities which mean that the supervision implementation schedule cannot be carried out according to the specified time, as well as the principal's busy schedule in other official matters. It can be concluded that, the implementation of principal supervision at SD Inpres Tasiu II has been carried out even though it is not in accordance with the planned schedule.

Abstract

Traditional arts education, such as Karawitan, plays an important role in building cultural identity and social skills among students amidst the forces of globalization. Karawitan, as traditional Indonesian music, teaches moral values such as togetherness, mutual cooperation, and collaboration, which support the formation of the younger generation's character. However, the integration of Karawitan into the education curriculum faces several challenges, including limited facilities, insufficient teacher competence, and the perception that traditional arts are less relevant to modern education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, examining 50 relevant sources, consisting of 30 journal articles, 10 books, and 10 research reports related to arts education and Karawitan. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify the benefits, challenges, and strategies for implementing Karawitan in education. The results indicate that Karawitan education can increase students' appreciation of local culture and provide an authentic learning experience. For Karawitan to be taught optimally, support from the government and related institutions is necessary, including the provision of resources, teacher training, and relevant teaching materials. The novelty of this study lies in its more comprehensive understanding of practical ways to integrate Karawitan into the education curriculum and highlights the educational values inherent in traditional arts. With proper integration, Karawitan can become an integral part of education, strengthening students' cultural identity and preparing them to face challenges in the globalized world.Keywords: arts education, karawitan, cultural identity, social skills, curriculum integration

Abstract

Abstract. This study to improve the reading ability to understand German Texts of class XI SMA Negeri 12 Makassar using the fast reading method. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycle with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation dan reflection stages. This research data consists of two types of data, namely qualitative data which is a description of the results of implementation and observation during the learning process dan quantitative data in the form of students improvement reading ability texts to understand texts in Cycle I and Cycle II. The average reading text score obtained by the students in Cycle I was 62.36 and in Cycle II the average value obtained by the students wa 83.06. The results showed that the speed reading method can improve the ability to reading German text of student in Class XI MIPA 6 SMA Negeri 12 Makassar.Keywords: Speed Reading Method, Reading Comprehension Ability, German Language Learning.

Abstract

Strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan yang mendorong siswa untuk aktif berpikir, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Strategi Guru Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berfikir Kritis Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas IV Mis Al-Hidayah Leuwohung. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitiannya kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpuan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu menganalisis data dengan tiga langkah: Kondensasi data (data condensation), Menyajikan data (data display), dan Menarik simpulan atau verifikasi (conclusion drawing and verification). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode inkuiri dan berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam IPS. Metode inkuiri mendorong siswa untuk bertanya, menganalisis data, dan membuat argumen berdasarkan bukti. Sementara itu, pembelajaran berbasis masalah membantu siswa menganalisis kasus, memahami penyebab, dan mencari solusi, yang juga meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepercayaan diri mereka. Secara keseluruhan, metode yang berfokus pada eksplorasi dan pemecahan masalah nyata terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this study is to explain the practicality of the integrated-critical model for Philosophy of Science teaching materials. The model is analyzed using an integrative-critical approach. This is a developmental research study that employs both qualitative and quantitative data. The model applied is the Four-D model by Thiagarajan, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study show that the Philosophy of Science teaching materials are considered practical in terms of relevance, quality, benefits, economic efficiency, presentation strategy, coherence, logical flow of ideas, consistency, and systematic presentation. Moreover, the materials demonstrate a logical structure, balanced content, clear organization of chapters, and a variety of exercises. The practicality is also reflected in the performance outcomes of the sample, which achieved grades of A or A-, categorized as good and very good. It is hoped that future relevant studies will consider aspects such as relevance, presentation, evaluation, presentation of philosophy books, and practicality, with performance results correlating to grades of A or A-.
