Abstract

Teenage girls are prone to suffer from anemia because of a lot of blood loss during menstruation. Iron deficiency can cause them to be weak, and make them difficult to concentrate, because hemoglobin cannot carry enough protein and oxygen. Dragon fruit contains a lot of iron (Fe) to form red blood cells, and vitamin C can accelerate the absorption of iron for the body. To determine the effect of giving red dragon fruit juice (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) on the increase of hemoglobin in the post-menstrual adolescent girls at SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan. The research design was a quasy experiment using pre- and post-test nonequivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 54 people. The study sample comprised 18 people consisting of 9 control groups and 9 intervention groups. Sampling was conducted with purposive sampling. The data collected were the hemoglobin levels of Grade XI of Social Science students at SMAN 1 Banguntapan, Bantul. Dragon fruit juice 200 grams is effective for increasing hemoglobin levels adolecent girls in SMA Negeri I Banguntapan Bantul p value 0.011 (p value <α (0.05).Dragon fruit juice 500 gram is effective for increasing hemoglobin level adolecent girls in SMA Negeri I Banguntapan Bantul p value 0.009 (pvalue <α (0.05).There was no significant difference on the dragon fruit juice 200 gram and 500 gram in increasing hemoglobin level adolecent girls in SMA Negerei I Banguntapan Bantul p value 0.280 (P value > 0.05) Keywords: Dragon Fruit Juice; Hemoglobin Levels; Adolescent Girls

Abstract

Understanding the meaning in communication becomes an important aspect of life. So that the intentions and objectives can be conveyed when communicating. The purpose of this study is to describe the contextual meaning in the novel if someday by Sifa Mermeida. The benefits of this study are (1) as material to add knowledge about the contextual meaning contained in the novel if someday (2) as a reference for further research. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive description. Research using reading and note taking techniques. The results of research from the novel if someday that the contextual meaning contained in the contents of the story makes the delivery of intent more interesting. Contextual meaning can be known from the markers in the sentence such as the context of the situation, place, object that refers to the conversation.

Abstract

The students’ well-being is an educational issue that has recently received great attention from various parties, be they academicians, politicians, and policymakers. This research aimed to test the role of classroom climate in enhancing students’ well-being. A correlational study in our work revealed that overall, among a sample of 300 grade V and grade VI students in elementary schools and madrasah ibtidaiyah in East Java, classroom climate positively and significantly predicted students’ well-being. The classroom climate promoted students’ well-being particularly when it took shape via task orientation and when it encouraged solidarity, cooperation, and involvement among students, as well as the perceived teacher justice. Aspects of classroom climate which were suboptimal in explaining students’ well-being included teacher support and learning inquiry.Kesejahteraan siswa baru-baru ini merupakan isu pendidikan yang mendapat perhatian serius dari berbagai pihak, baik akademisi, politisi, maupun pembuat kebijakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sejauh mana suasana kelas berperan dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan siswa. Subjek penelitian adalah 300 siswa kelas V dan VI sekolah dasar dan madrasah ibtidaiyah yang ada di Jawa Timur. Studi korelasional dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, suasana kelas menjadi prediktor positif yang signifikan bagi tingkat kesejahteraan siswa. Suasana kelas yang secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan siswa adalah suasana kelas yang berorientasi pada tugas, yang bisa mendorong kekompakkan, kerjasama, dan keterlibatan antar siswa, serta yang meningkatkan persepsi bahwa guru telah memperlakukan siswa secara adil. Aspek suasana kelas yang tidak secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap kesejahteraan siswa mencakup dukungan guru terhadap siswa dan proses penyelidikan dalam kelas.

Abstract

Abstrak Suku Dayak Ngaju memiliki kekayaan dalam hal kesenian. Suatu ciri yang dijumpai dalam kebudayaan Dayak Ngaju adalah kemampuan menyerap kebudayaan dari luar. Bahkan proses perpaduan dan pembauran kebudayaan tersebut dilakukan sedemikian rupa sehingga tidak dapat disangkal bahwa ada juga kelompok - kelompok dari orang Dayak Ngaju yang meninggalkan kebudayaannya sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui macam - macam kesenian yang terdapat di Desa Tumbang Manggu, bagaimana kesenian tersebut dibuat dan apa saja manfaat serta kegunaannya, upaya apa saja yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tumbang Manggu untuk tetap menjaga kesenian tersebut agar tidak hilang seiring zaman. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelian ini adalah kualitatif deskriftif dan metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa  Suku Dayak Ngaju yang ada di Desa Tumbang Manggu Kecamatan Sanaman Mantikei Kabupaten Katingan Kalimantan Tengah, memiliki kesenian yang beragam. Mulai dari kesenian tari, musik, menganyam, memahat dan melukis. Seiring berkembangnya zaman dan teknologi yang semakin canggih nilai-nilai kesenian daerah mulai pudar dan perlahan hilang. Untuk mencegah hal itu terjadi masyarakat Desa Tumbang Manggu membentuk sebuah sanggar dan memperkenalkan kesenian daerah kepada pelajar yang ada di daerah tersebut, agar kesenian tidak dilupakan oleh generasi penerus dan ada hingga masa yang akan datang. Dari sanggar yg didirikan ini lah para pelajar mempelajari kesenian tari, musik, meganyam, memahat dan melukis serta memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat luas dengan cara mengikuti lomba-lomba yang ada. A characteristic found in the Ngaju Dayak culture is the ability to absorb culture from outside. In fact, the process of cultural integration and assimilation is carried out in such a way that it cannot be denied that there are also groups of Ngaju Dayak people who have left their own culture.This study aims to find out the various arts found in Tumbang Manggu Village, how the art is made and what are the benefits and uses, what efforts are made by the people of Tumbang Manggu Village to keep the art from being lost over time. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative and the methods used are interviews, documentation and observation. The results of this study indicate that the Ngaju Dayak tribe in Tumbang Manggu Village, Sanaman Mantikei District, Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan, has a variety of arts. Starting from the arts of dance, music, weaving, sculpting and painting. Along with the development of the times and increasingly sophisticated technology, the values of regional art began to fade and slowly disappear. To prevent this from happening, the people of Tumbang Manggu Village formed a studio and introduced local arts to students in the area, so that the arts were not forgotten by the next generation and existed for the future. Peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar permasalahan tenaga kerja Indonesia dengan Numbered Head Together (NHT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada materi permasalahan tenaga kerja Indonesia siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 40 siswa di SD Negeri 5 Batang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif model Numbered Head Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 5 Batang, yang meliputi peningkatan dalam proses dan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan penjabaran diatas peneliti memberikan saran kepada guru sebaiknya menggunakan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) agar siswa lebih aktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Increased activity and learning outcomes Indonesian labor problems with Numbered Head Together (NHT). This study aims to determine the application of learning models Numbered Head Together (NHT) to increase the activity and learning outcomes on the material issues of Indonesian workers eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Batang. This study uses classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of class VIII A, amounting to 40 students in SMP Negeri 5 Batang. The results of this study indicate that cooperative learning Numbered Head Together (NHT) to improve learning in SMP Negeri 5 Batang, which includes an increase in the students' learning processes and outcomes. Based on the above translation researchers advising the teacher should use instructional model Numbered Head Together (NHT) to make students more active in learning activities.

Abstract

This community service program is Program Kemitraan Wilayah (PKW) scheme from the Ministry of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency, Deputy for Strengthening Research and Development. The location of the devotion in the village of Sidoharjo Samigaluh subdistrict Kulon Progo D.I Yogyakarta. The implementation of PKW was carried out by Janabdara University  ( proposing college) in collaboration with AMPTA Tourism High School (partner college) and the Regional Government of Kulon Progo district.  Problems that have been identified at the location of PKW service in Sidoharjo village of Samigaluh district of Kulon Progo district include :(1) lack of accessibility to tourist destinations (tourism support infrastructure) ;(2) has not been optimal for creative economic development with the utilization of local resources; (3) The potential of agricultural products has not been optimized; (4) Art, culture still needs to be accompanied and optimized.  The realization of the devotion program includes the construction of footpaths and safety fences to the top of Gunung Kendil, the creation of selfie spots (self-photos), the construction of gazebos. In addition, training and practice are also carried out for the development of the creative economy (culinary sector) namely by making various snacks that utilize local ingredients, namely taro, cassava, and Regedek leaves. In the field of culture is carried out rejuvenation a set of gamelan. In this service program, socialization is also carried out about the PIRT licensing process for people who already have many household businesses (home industry).

Abstract

This study was aimed to know: (1) the influence of guided discovery learning model to the scientific literacy; (2) the influence of naturalist intelligence to the scientific literacy; (3) the interaction between learning model and naturalist intelligence to the  scientific literacy. This study is a quasy experimental research  with 2x3 factorial design. The popullation of this study is all of students grade X SMA N 1 Ngemplak academic year 2015/2016. Sample of class is selected by purpossive sampling technique. Data is collected by test techniques (Instrument matter of Nature of Science Literacy Test/NOSLiT) and non-test technique (quesionnaire, observation, and documentation). The data is analyzed by Two Ways analysis of variance test with different content of cell with level of significance 5%. Data analyzing is helped by Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program 21 version. The results showed that there was the influence of the use of guided discovery learning models to scientific literacy (Sig. = 0.047) <α = 0.05. There was the influence of naturalist intelligence toward scientific literacy (Sig. = 0.015) <α = 0.05, and there was no effect interaction between learning-models and naturalist towards their scientific literacy (Sig. = 0,544)>α = 0.05.Keywords:        Guided Discovery Learning Model, Scientific Literacy, Naturalist Intelligence

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik orangtua dalam mengikuti program Bina Keluarga Balita (BKB) dan faktor penghambatnya. Pendekatan penelitian bersifat metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 6 orang, terdiri dari ketua BKB dan 5 orangtua yang mengikuti program BKB. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teori. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan motivasi instrinsik orangtua mengikuti program BKB karena adanya kebutuhan untuk memenuhi segala sesuatu yang berhubungan dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, dan motivasi ekstrinsik disebabkan oleh pengaruh lingkungan yang timbul dari luar yaitu timbul dorongan dari tetangga. Faktor penghambat orangtua dalam mengikuti BKB adalah pekerjaan rumah yang tidak bisa ditinggalkan, dan faktor penghambat dari luar adalah sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai di dalam kegiatan BKB.   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of parents in the program BKB (BKB) and inhibiting factors. The approach is a method of qualitative research. Subjects numbered 6 consists of one chairman BKB and 5 parents who follow the program BKB (BKB). The collection of data through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validation techniques using triangulation source and triangulation theory. The data analysis technique used is the data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study the intrinsic motivation of parents to follow the program BKB because of the need to fulfill everything that is related to the growth and development of children, and extrinsic motivation is caused by environmental influences arising from the outside that arise encouragement from neighbors. Inhibiting factors of parents in following BKB is a chore that can not be abandoned, and inhibiting factors external infrastructure is inadequate in the activities of BKB.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently experiencing obstacles caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This obstacle is not only felt by teachers, but also students and parents of students. This makes significant changes to the learning system used. In this context, Blended learning is the most significant development of a learning model during a pandemic like now. Blended learning can be defined as a mixture of online learning models and offline learning models. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the blended learning learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic and analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the blended learning learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method in this study uses qualitative research. The process of data collection is done by using interviews, observation and documentation. In the implementation of the blended learning model, it gives good results because it is able to make learning more varied and not monotonous so that it is liked by many students. Although in this case there are still many obstacles that are passed during learning, the teacher can overcome them little by little well. Factors supporting the implementation of the blended learning model include the Government, Teachers, Technology. While the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the blended learning model include time, connections/networks, teachers and students. With these results, it is hoped that schools or other educational institutions can further study the concept of blended learning and implement blended learning.
