Abstract

The management of water resources in the Batang Hari River faces significant challenges due to human activities and environmental changes. Empowering local communities is crucial to ensuring the sustainability of river resource management. This service activity aims to involve the community in collaboratively managing water resources (Batang Hari River) affected by ongoing degradation through a partnership network (stakeholders) to minimize challenges and formulate solutions for sustainable community empowerment in river resource management. The activities involve several partners and stakeholders, including the Korea-Indonesia Forest Cooperation Centre (KIFC), the Fish Hatchery Center of Muaro Jambi Regency, KJA farmers, academics, and the community of Rantau Panjang Village in Muaro Jambi Regency. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach through direct discussions, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and qualitative data analysis. From the activities conducted, through workshops and participatory approaches, community awareness and participation in water resource management have significantly increased. Additionally, the community has developed new skills in sustainable resource management, and cooperation among stakeholders has been strengthened. This activity emphasizes the importance of community empowerment in achieving sustainable river resource management, contributing to environmental sustainability and the welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Tanaman jagung yang di tanam bersamaan dengan Crotalaria juncea dan Brachiaria mulato II merupakan cara pengendalian hayati untuk pengendalian ulat grayak Spodoptera frugiperda pada tanaman jagung. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji pengaruh pengendalian ulat grayak S. frugiperda J.E Smith (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) pada tanaman jagung (Zea mays) menggunakan Crotalaria juncea dan Brachiaria mulato II sebagai tanaman penolak-penarik terhadap, kepadatan populasi larva S. frugiperda pada tanaman jagung, intensitas serangan tanaman jagung pada fase vegetative dan keanekaragama arthropoda pada tanaman jagung. Penelitian menggunakan metode Eksperimental yang membandingkan antara tanaman jagung perlakuan penolak-penarik dan tanaman jagung tanpa perlakuan penolak-penarik (Kontrol). Pengamatan dilakukan setiap minggu selama fase vegetative, yang dimulai pada tiga minggu setelah tanam. Pengamatan kepadatan populasi larva dan intensitas serangan dilakukan secara langsung pada tanaman jagung sampel dan pengamatan keanekaragaman arthropoda menggunakan tiga perangkap yaitu nampan kuning, pitfall dan jaring ayun. Data kepadatan populasi larva dan intensitas serangan dianalisis menggunakan Uji T, sedangkan keanekaragaman arthropoda dianalisis berdasarkan analisis indeks keanekaragam Shannon wienner (H’). Berdasakan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada lahan penelitian tanaman jagung kedua perlakuan dapat disimpulkam bahwa penggunaan tanaman C. juncea dan B. mulato II dapat mengurangi kepadatan populasi larva S. frugiperda dan intensitas serangan tanaman jagung pada fase vegetative. Nilai keanekaragaman arthropoda pada tanaman jagung menggunakan perlakuan Crotalaria juncea dan Brachiaria mulato II (H’ 2,453) dan tanaman jagung tanpa perlakuan Crotalaria juncea dan Brachiaria mulato II (H’ 2,435) yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

With current advances in technology, an automatic nurse call display system was designed that patients can easily ask for help from a nurse via a calling device that is connected wirelessly to the display unit in the nurse's room. This research aims to design and implement an automatic nurse call display system which is expected to increase the efficiency and responsiveness of nursing services in hospitals. When the patient presses the button in the Blynk application, the display will receive a signal which will display the patient's room number, patient name, and what complaint the patient needs. The method used in making this automatic nurse call display is controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller and uses ESP32 as a tool to transmit data between the patient call device and the display unit in the nurse's room. The results of this study indicate that the system works well by reducing nursing staff response time and increasing patient satisfaction. In other words, the conclusion is that this system works by sending signals from the patient calling device to the display unit in the nurse's station to display requests for help in real-time.

Abstract

This article discussed The Qur'an hermeneutics; Study of Muhammad Syahrur's thoughts on the of men and women equality. The study aimed to find out more about the concept of men and women equality in Muhammad Syahrur's hermeneutics. This article used a literature approach (Library Research) by describing and analyzing research objects, namely reading and analyzing various sources related to the topic, for later being analyzed and finally drawing conclusions and being formulated in a written report. The results showed that Muhammad Syahrur is one of the Islamic thinkers who used a hermeneutic approach in interpreting the Qur'an, especially on fundamental themes such as equality between men and women. In this scope, Syahrur saw a methodological error and there is no revolutionary interpretation of Islamic laws relating to women to be the culprit of gender inequality. Therefore, Syahrur made a legal breakthrough through hermeneutics studies and succeeded in proving that there is no gender bias in Islam.. Keywords: Muhammad Syahrur, Gender, Hermeneutics

Abstract

Calotropis gigantea produces secondary metabolites. Some toxicity tests on several pest species had been conducted, yet the most susceptible pest species towards C. gigantea extract is still unknown. This study aims to determine the susceptible insect species and study the behavior of susceptible insects to C. gigantea extract. The test methods used in this research were leaf dipping and spraying upon four insect pest species of different orders (Bactrocera carambolae [Diptera: Tephritidae], Nilapavata lugens [Hemiptera: Delphacidae], Sitophilus zeamais [Coleoptera: Curculionidae], and Plutella xylostella [Lepidoptera: Plutellidae]). The concentration used to determine susceptible insects was 25 g.L-1 and control. Deterrence test of susceptible insects using a choice test and no-choice for 1.5 hours observed every five minutes. Five replication were used for each concentration. Behavioral test of susceptible insects using dietary toxicity test. Five bok choy leaf disc was immersed into solutions for 1 minute and air-dried on a petri dish. Observations were carried out for 12 hours with an observation period of every 1.5 hours. A leaf dipping test for 12 hours with an observation period of every 1.5 hours using the feed method. The concentrations used were 12.5 µgL-1and control. The concentration used was the toxicity test of C. gigantea leaf extract 25, 12.50, 6.25. 3.12, 1.56, 0.78, 0.39, 0.19, 0.09, 0.04 µgL-1. P. xylostella was considered a more susceptible test insect towards C. gigantea leaf extract than B. carambolae, N. lugens, and S. zeamais. C. gigantea leaf extract showed a toxic and feeding deterrent to P. xylostella larvae. The LC50 value of C. gigantea extract against P. xylostella by dipping was 16.9 µg.l-1 and 18.5 µg.l-1 by spray. The components of C. gigantea leaf extract consist of alkaloid, tannin, phenol, flavonoid, saponin, and terpenoid. The result of the research showed that C. gigantea leaf extract has a toxic and deterrent substance against P. xylostella and potential to control P. xylostella.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has occurred, followed by a global crisis and the issue of recession in various parts of the world, including Indonesia, has had a vulnerable impact on family resilience. This can be seen from the phenomenon of a significant increase in the prevalence of divorce from 291,677 in 2020, which increased by 53% to 447,743 in 2021, which places Indonesia as the country with the highest prevalence of divorce in Asia-Africa. This is directly proportional to the high prevalence of single parents, which places Indonesia in the second-highest position in the world with fatherless countries and DI. Yogyakarta ranks third highest in Indonesia. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, the phenomenon of divorce is dominated by contested divorce from wives, namely 73.7%, with the reason being ongoing disputes at 62.4%. Various factors, including gender inequality in the domestic sphere, cause the disputes. The research method used was qualitative, with an explanatory research approach to 34 informants who were prospective premarital couples in the KUA Depok Yogyakarta work area. Data was collected through FGDs and deep interviews to explore prospective partners' perceptions of gender partnership in the family—purposive sampling technique according to inclusion criteria. Data analysis uses phenomenological studies, including data familiarization through identifying thematic frameworks, data indexation, coding and charting, and data interpretation carried out independently by the researcher. The research results show that the lowest knowledge of respondents regarding family functions is the socio-cultural function, namely ten respondents (29.41%), followed by the coaching function, namely 14 respondents (41.17%), and the reproductive function, namely 16 respondents (47.06%).

Abstract

Farmer groups often face various problems in terms of production activities, one of which is the problem of production efficiency. When a production activity does not run efficiently, it will have an impact on the waste of resources spent. In the end, it will reduce the profits obtained. Therefore, PIKMa Universitas Putra Bangsa proposed the Innovative Approach to Vegetable Cultivation Program by Utilizing IOT-Based Smart Farming Technology in the Jatimulyo Village Women's Farmer Group as a PPK ORMAWA activity to be funded by DIKTI. A program is expected to run effectively to ensure that the budget that has been disbursed by the government is not wasted. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the programs that have been carried out in order to see the impact of the program. This study was conducted to see the impact of the Innovative Approach to Vegetable Cultivation Program by Utilizing IOT-Based Smart Farming Technology to Increase the efficiency of vegetable production carried out by the Jatimulyo Village Women's Farmer Group, Alian District. The sample in this study were all members of the Jatimulyo Village women's farmer group, Alian District, Kebumen Regency. The data used in this study are primary data collected and then analyzed using simple linear regression which was previously tested for validity and reliability. Based on the analysis conducted, it is proven that the Innovative Vegetable Cultivation Approach Program by Utilizing IOT-Based Smart Farming Technology has a significant effect on Crop Production Efficiency in the Women Farmers Group of Jatimulyo Village, Alian District.

Abstract

Abstract: This article aims to understand how the Tahu Takwa Populer home industry applies the Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) analysis and how CVP analysis is used for profit planning by the same business. The research adopts a qualitative approach and utilises data collection methods such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis methods include the margin of safety, break-even point, data presentation in tabular form, and accompanying narratives that explain and summarise the research findings on using cost-volume-profit analysis as a tool for profit planning in the Tahu Takwa Populer home industry. The research findings at the Tahu Takwa Populer home industry show that sales consistently exceeded the break-even point during the 2022-2023 quarter, with a relatively stable margin of safety ratio. However, the profits obtained did not align with accounting calculations. Therefore, the Tahu Takwa Populer home industry needs to improve the effectiveness of its cost-volume-profit analysis implementation to maintain stable sales and achieve the targeted profit.   Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan analisis Biaya Volume Laba (BVL) oleh home industry Tahu Takwa Populer serta bagaimana analisis BVL dalam perencanaan laba yang dilakukan home industry Tahu Takwa Populer, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan meliputi margin of safety, break even point, penyajian data bentuk tabel dan disertai dengan narasi yang menjelaskan serta menyimpulkan hasil penelitian terkait penggunaan analisis biaya-volume-laba sebagai alat perencanaan laba di home industry Tahu Takwa Populer. Hasil penelitian pada home industry Tahu Takwa Populer menunjukkan bahwa selama triwulan 2022-2023, penjualan selalu berada di atas titik impas (break even point) dengan rasio margin of safety yang cukup stabil. Namun, laba yang diperoleh belum sesuai dengan perhitungan akuntansi. Oleh karena itu, home industry Tahu Takwa Populer perlu meningkatkan efektivitas dalam penerapan analisis biaya-volume-laba guna menjaga kestabilan penjualan dan mencapai laba yang telah ditargetkan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Peningkatan hormon estrogen, progesterone, adrenalin dan kortisol pada ibu hamil menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan tubuh yang memunculkan ketegangan fisik, emosi, gelisah, penurunan konsentrasi dan kecemasan. Kecemasan pada ibu hamil yang tidak ditangani dapat menyebabkan komplikasi kehamilan dan persalinan, terjadinya kelainan premature, BBLR, asfiksia dan kematian bayi. Pengobatan terapi non farmakologi seperti terapi hidroson dapat dilakukan pada ibu hamil karena dapat membantu menurunkan tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil. Metode: Desain penelitian adalah quasi-experimental dengan rancangan one groups pretest-posttest design, dengan subyek penelitian 25 responden ibu hamil trimester I dan ibu hamil trimester III. Analisa univariat menggunakan distribusi frekuensi, lalu dilakukan uji normalitas menggunakan Shapiro-Wilk dan analisa bivariat menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil: Hasil distribusi frekuensi didapatkan bahwa 25 responden ibu trimester I sebanyak 9 orang dan trimester III sebanyak 16 orang. Sebelum dilakukannya terapi hidroson kecemasan paling banyak pada kategori kecemasan sedang dan setelah intervensi sebagian besar dalam kategori normal. nilai p-value <.001. Kesimpulan: Terapi Hidroson efektif terhadap penurunan kecemasan pada ibu hamil di PMB Tutik Purwani. Saran: : Diharapkan semua Yankes dan ibu Hamil menerapkan terapi komplementer dalam penanganan masalah kecemasan selama kehamilan.

Abstract

Character building should be systematic and continuous, focusing on moral knowledge (moral knowing), emotional empathy (moral feeling), and virtuous behavior (moral action). Emphasizing habit formation, character education nurtures values that help students become responsible individuals in daily life. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research to gather data from books, journals, and other relevant sources. The main references are texts on character education with a foundation in religious values. Character education not only addresses academic skills but also instills moral values, equipping students to handle conflicts, make wise decisions, and build positive relationships. The evaluation of Islamic religious education measures students' progress in knowledge, skills, and attitudes, helping assess their mastery of the provided lessons.
