Abstract

Mathematics education at the elementary level faces challenges in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts, including multiplication. Mathematics is considered by elementary school students to be a difficult, boring and monotonous subject. The mathematics learning method can be used to teach mathematics to students in a simple and easy to use way. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the jarimatika method in improving students' multiplication numeracy skills in elementary schools. This research uses qualitative research methods with a literature study approach collecting data from seven relevant articles about the mathematics method in teaching mathematics in elementary schools. The findings show that the application of the jarimatika method consistently improves students' multiplication numeracy skills, with an increase in average scores of up to 62% - 85%. Using the jarimatika method can be an effective solution in improving the quality of mathematics education at the elementary level, as well as providing direction for the development of more innovative and effective learning methods.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus sufferers continue to increase. The percentage of patients with type 2 DM in Surakarta city is 24%, this figure exceeds the national target of 20%, with the number of patients in Surakarta as many as 18,833 cases, in Banyuanyar Health Center as many as 2,404. Type 2 DM disease that is not properly managed will lead to complications. Efforts that can be made to prevent these complications by increasing self efficacy in its management.Objective; Knowing the description of self efficacy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Method; The type of research used is descriptive research, with a total of 86 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale (DMSES).Results; From the results of the study, the majority of respondents' characteristics were based on age 40-64 years (74.4%), female gender (65.1%), high school education level (37.2%), self-employed work (43.0%), long suffering from DM ≥5 years (57.0%) and sufficient self efficacy category (41.9%). Conclusion; Self efficacy of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Banyuanyar Health Center working area is in the moderate category

Abstract

Abstract The community service program in the form of education is based on collaboration between Real Work Lecture students at Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang and Sp Padang District, Oki Regency, South Sumatra Province to carry out learning to train patience and independence for elementary school children at RENGAS PITU Elementary School through the method learn directly in the field. The aim of implementing the direct learning method in the field for young children is to train their patience in resisting their less important desires and to train their independence in dealing with problems that children face when interacting with people in the field. This learning method is very useful for children in their future lives so that children can mingle with society directly and understand life in the child's environment. Keywords: Patience. Abstract

Made is a sub-district located in the city of Surabaya, due to its area, nuance, and natural conditions that are similar to the countryside, causing this sub-district to be called by the local community as Made Village. Even though they are in the middle of an urban community that supports companionship, the residents of Made Village have a community structure with a high level of tolerance and mutual cooperation, this can be seen during the traditional ceremony of alms of earth which is carried out routinely every year by the people of Made Village. With the values of tolerance, mutual cooperation, and cultural values that are reflected in the structure of the Made Village community, this can become provision for strengthening character and cultural education in classroom learning. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews and field observations. The tradition of almsgiving in Made Village is one of the things highlighted in this research. This tradition requires the cooperation and cohesiveness of all local residents, considering that its implementation takes place over three days and three nights with various series of events. Through research on the tradition of the earth alms tradition in Made Village, it is known that it has pedagogical values, namely, respecting nature, living in harmony side by side, tolerance, mutual cooperation, and maintaining and preserving culture, which can be implemented as strengthening character education in junior high schools.

Abstract

In the digital era that continues to develop, digitalization is a crucial aspect for business transformation in various sectors, including the coffee shop industry. This study investigates the influence of digitalization on the coffeeshop business by taking a case study at AADK Malang. This research identifies the challenges and incentives faced by AADK in adopting digital technology, as well as its impact on an inclusive business environment. Through bibliometric analysis and case studies, it was found that digitalization provides significant benefits in the form of increased operational efficiency and expanded customer reach, but also raises challenges such as initial investment costs, data security and system integration. The results of this research are that the challenges faced in implementing digitalization include significant initial investment costs, system integration difficulties, employee training, data security, and changes in organizational culture. However, the drive to adopt inclusive business models through digitalization is also strong, including increased accessibility, better customer engagement, operational process optimization and market expansion

Abstract

Pentingnya informasi yang cepat dan akurat bagi kemajuan lembaga pendidikan dan perusahaan di era globalisasi yang kompetitif. Diperlukan sistem pengelolaan informasi yang efisien dengan dukungan teknologi, seperti internet. Membaca dianggap krusial dalam komunikasi tulis, menekankan pentingnya pemahaman dan penggunaan informasi tertulis melalui akses informasi. Tantangannya adalah bagaimana mengelola informasi dengan efektif untuk mendukung kemajuan dalam lingkungan bisnis global yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelusuri apakah individu yang memiliki kebiasaan membaca yang baik umumnya mempunyai akses yang lebih baik terhadap sumber informasi dibandingkan dengan mereka yang kurang membaca. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam kajian ini yaitu metodologi kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Teknik membaca efektif, seperti membaca aktif dan membuat ringkasan, meningkatkan pemahaman dan retensi informasi. Hal ini, sebagaimana dinyatakan oleh Muhammad Furkan, bahwa tantangan dalam membedakan informasi yang relevan dan penting dari yang kurang relevan atau tidak akurat, saat menggunakan teknik membaca termasuk overload informasi, kredibilitas sumber, bias informasi, keterbatasan waktu, dan ketidakjelasan informasi.

Abstract

This research evaluates the business feasibility of Café 1960 in Palangka Raya by analyzing its technical, financial, and market aspects. The study highlights strategic location, efficient operational management, and distinctive market characteristics as key contributors to the café's success. Financially, the café demonstrates strong feasibility, with a Payback Period of 7 months, a positive Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp107,550,555, and an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 42.91%. The café leverages unique menus and locally oriented marketing strategies to sustain market share amidst moderate competition. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document analysis. The findings underline the importance of local market dynamics in smaller urban settings, offering insights into sustainable business practices for similar ventures in developing regions. This research contributes to the field by presenting a comprehensive feasibility analysis that integrates technical, financial, and market perspectives, focusing on the specific context of Palangka Raya's growing café industry.

Abstract

The study examines the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) strategy in developing Ka mbariat Tuah Pahoe Campsite as an ecotourism destination in Central Kalimantan. Using a mixed-method approach combining quantitative analysis through logistic regression and qualitative descriptive analysis, this research evaluates the effectiveness of community involvement and environmental sustainability in increasing tourist visits. The quantitative findings, supported by a goodness-of-fit test (Hosmer-Lemeshow test p-value: 0.7861) and model accuracy of 91.34%, demonstrate that both community ownership and management (coefficient: 0.413853) and environmental sustainability (coefficient: 0.664741) positively influences visitation rates. Qualitative analysis reveals that the visitor demographic is predominantly young adults aged 18-22 years, indicating potential for youth-oriented tourism development. The study concludes that CBT implementation at Kambariat Tuah Pahoe shows significant promise, particularly when focusing on community empowerment and environmental sustainability, although requiring strategic planning for optimal economic benefit distribution and sustainable environmental management.

Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan menjadi fondasi kokoh dalam pembangunan karakter siswa sejak usia dini. Melalui pembelajaran PKn, siswa tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan tentang negara, namun juga diajarkan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila yang menjadi dasar negara. Nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, toleransi, dan keadilan sosial diajarkan secara konkret dalam berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, PKn berperan aktif dalam membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki kepribadian yang tangguh, berakhlak mulia, dan memiliki rasa tanggung jawab terhadap bangsa dan negara. Selain itu, PKn juga membekali siswa dengan keterampilan hidup yang relevan dengan kehidupan bermasyarakat. Siswa dilatih untuk berpikir kritis, berkomunikasi secara efektif, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara damai. Hal ini penting untuk mempersiapkan siswa menjadi warga negara yang aktif dan produktif. Dengan memahami hak dan kewajiban sebagai warga negara, siswa akan lebih termotivasi untuk berkontribusi dalam pembangunan masyarakat. Melalui PKn, siswa juga diajarkan untuk menghargai keberagaman budaya dan menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusiaan. Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) memiliki peran yang sangat krusial dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Studi literatur dengan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) ini menganalisis berbagai penelitian yang mengkaji hubungan antara PKn dan pengembangan karakter. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa PKn tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan tentang negara, namun juga menjadi wahana efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, sosial, dan kewarganegaraan pada siswa. Melalui pembelajaran PKn, siswa diajarkan untuk menghargai keberagaman, berkolaborasi, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Dengan demikian, PKn berkontribusi signifikan dalam membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter, berakhlak mulia, dan memiliki rasa cinta tanah air.

Abstract

Hasil observasi awal penulis di SMK Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi menunjukkan beberapa masalah dengan fenomena yang ditemukan pada siswa SMK Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi adalah kecerdasan siswa masih terindikasi rendah, baik itu kecerdasan spiritual dan sosial dengan situasi siswa ada yang tinggal di asrama dan tinggal di kos. Salah satu upaya dalam membangun siswa yang berspiritual dan bersosial adalah dengan memilih lingkungan tempat tinggal yang baik, karena tempat tinggal memiliki pengaruh terhadap kecerdasan siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat kecerdasan spiritual dan siosial siswa SMK Gema Nusantara Bukittingg yang tinggal di asrama dengan yang tinggal di kos. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis pemelitian kuantitatif bersifat komparatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa X, XII, dan XII yang tinggal di asrama dengan tinggal di kos. Dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik proportionete stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one sample t-test, independent sampel t-test, dan one way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian ini terlihat bahwa Ha di tolak dan Ho diterima, dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) = 0.998 > 0.05, menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedan tingkat kecerdasan spiritual dan sosial yang tinggal di asrama dengan tinggal di kos pada SMK Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi
