Abstract

For students, academic achievement is significant. In addition to providing motivation, academic achievement also makes it easier for students to continue to the next level of education. However, academic burnout and internet addiction sometimes prevent them from achieving academic achievement. Therefore, this study examined the relationship between academic burnout and internet addiction. This study also includes optimism as an intervention variable. The research method used in this study is quantitative with explanatory type. The population in this study were ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 11 Malang, with a sample of 72 students using the Slovin formula. Data were collected using a questionnaire, which was then distributed to respondents. One hundred fifteen respondents were obtained, and the results were then analyzed using partial least squares with the help of the SMART-PLS application. Direct and indirect results, such as overall academic burnout, hurt academic achievement and optimism. However, positive results were shown for internet addiction on academic achievement and optimism. This finding implies that excessive tasks and responsibilities lead to burnout and decreased academic performance. However, internet addiction in students can have a positive impact if used as a relevant learning resource.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to investigate the impact of ecology-based digital literacy on the formation of ecological awareness among millennial generations in higher education. Millennials, as a significant demographic group, play a key role in shaping the future of the environment. In this context, digital literacy serves as an essential tool for disseminating knowledge and motivating pro-environmental actions. The research method employed a case study approach within the higher education environment, involving a group of millennial students participating in ecology-based digital literacy. Data were collected through initial observations, pre- and post-assessment of ecological awareness, and in-depth interviews. The research results indicate that ecology-based digital literacy can enhance ecological awareness among millennials. Participants or informants demonstrated an understanding of environmental issues and skills in using digital technology to disseminate pro-environmental information. In-depth interviews revealed that ecology-based digital literacy provides additional motivation for engaging in concrete actions that support environmental sustainability. The research findings have significant implications for the development of more effective environmental education and targeted pro-environment communication strategies for the millennial generation. In conclusion, ecology-based digital literacy can be a powerful means of shaping ecological awareness among millennials and motivating them to take positive actions in support of environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Human development is a development process with the aim of being able to have more choices, through a Human Development Index it can be used as a benchmark, especially in income, health and education. The aim of this research is to find out how the Human Development Index (HDI) has developed in South Sumatra in 2012-2022 and to analyze how big the influence of education, poverty and economic growth has been on the Human Development Index (HDI) in case studies in the province of South Sumatra. The table shows that the development of HDI has increased with the medium or medium HDI category during the 2018-2022 period until it was able to achieve the HDI target set by the government. Economic growth has a positive and significant effect on HDI, while education and poverty have a significant negative effect on HDI. The conclusion is that HDI development has increased during 2012-2022, poverty and education have a negative effect, while economic growth has a positive effect on the Human Development Index. Through this research, it is recommended that in government planning policies not only look at achieving the target of increasing economic growth but also the target of increasing human development because economic growth alone is not sufficient to improve the quality of human resources, especially in the aspects of education, health and people's income.

Abstract

Technological developments from time to time continue to develop in a more sophisticated direction. Ease of accessing the internet and inclusive digital solutions are one of the drivers of accelerating digital transformation among society. Digital solutions in the form of applications have become one of the primary tools needed in the world of work and business. One example of the latest information system developments is in the world of mining in terms of workforce management. One of the companies that requires a workforce management information system is PT Lestari Berkat Sejahtera, because this company still uses a manual workforce management system. The author has a solution, namely by creating an employee data management application. The aim of making this application is to provide easy access for HRD staff, admins and employees to view information and manage existing human resource data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsep dasar dari manajemen layanan public. Layanan public ini adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan atau diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat mengenai barang, jasa atau bahkan kebutuhan administrates. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode literature review. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian dapat disimpulakan bahwa hakikat manajemen layanan publik yaitu pelayanan yang diberikan pemerintah kepada masyarakat guna memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

Untuk suatu lembaga pendidikan ditentukan oleh beberapa faktor sistem, diantaranya pengawasan pendidikan/1oleh kepala sekolah sebagai pengawas sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional (Permendiknas) Nomor 13 Tahun 2007 depretahan Kepala Sekolah yang harus melaksanakan pengawasan pendidikan, menyelenggarakan pendidikan, pemantauan, jenis pemantauan, dan penilaian kinerja pegawai. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendukung siswa dan guru dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran melalui inkuiri, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian. Tugas guru adalah guru adalah mengorganisasikan seluruh pekerjaan siswa, termasuk seluruh aktor dalam sistem sekolah, dan memaksimalkan pembelajaran melalui penggunaan satu pendekatan berpikir kritis dan satu pendekatan konstruktif dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan staf. Abstract

Gamification system-based learning is a learning method that uses game elements and game thinking in a non-game environment to improve student behavior and engagement in the learning process. The concept of gamification in learning minimizes lectures by teachers about the material, and emphasizes interactivity and student involvement in learning. This research uses the literature review method to comprehensively analyze articles published from 2020 to 2023, of course with several specifications determined and 4 articles selected. The results of this research state that the gamification method is very effective and appropriate for increasing student learning motivation, because in implementing gamification students are required to be active during the learning process and also present interactive material.

Abstract

Mathematics education at the elementary level faces challenges in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts, including multiplication. Mathematics is considered by elementary school students to be a difficult, boring and monotonous subject. The mathematics learning method can be used to teach mathematics to students in a simple and easy to use way. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the jarimatika method in improving students' multiplication numeracy skills in elementary schools. This research uses qualitative research methods with a literature study approach collecting data from seven relevant articles about the mathematics method in teaching mathematics in elementary schools. The findings show that the application of the jarimatika method consistently improves students' multiplication numeracy skills, with an increase in average scores of up to 62% - 85%. Using the jarimatika method can be an effective solution in improving the quality of mathematics education at the elementary level, as well as providing direction for the development of more innovative and effective learning methods.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus sufferers continue to increase. The percentage of patients with type 2 DM in Surakarta city is 24%, this figure exceeds the national target of 20%, with the number of patients in Surakarta as many as 18,833 cases, in Banyuanyar Health Center as many as 2,404. Type 2 DM disease that is not properly managed will lead to complications. Efforts that can be made to prevent these complications by increasing self efficacy in its management.Objective; Knowing the description of self efficacy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Method; The type of research used is descriptive research, with a total of 86 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the Diabetes Management Self Efficacy Scale (DMSES).Results; From the results of the study, the majority of respondents' characteristics were based on age 40-64 years (74.4%), female gender (65.1%), high school education level (37.2%), self-employed work (43.0%), long suffering from DM ≥5 years (57.0%) and sufficient self efficacy category (41.9%). Conclusion; Self efficacy of patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in the Banyuanyar Health Center working area is in the moderate category

Abstract

Abstract The community service program in the form of education is based on collaboration between Real Work Lecture students at Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang and Sp Padang District, Oki Regency, South Sumatra Province to carry out learning to train patience and independence for elementary school children at RENGAS PITU Elementary School through the method learn directly in the field. The aim of implementing the direct learning method in the field for young children is to train their patience in resisting their less important desires and to train their independence in dealing with problems that children face when interacting with people in the field. This learning method is very useful for children in their future lives so that children can mingle with society directly and understand life in the child's environment. Keywords: Patience.
