Abstract

 This study aims to determine the effect of weeding on the quality and yield of horenso spinach (Spinacia oleracea) cultivated at Agri Center Miyakonojo, Miyazaki, Japan. The research was conducted using two treatments without weeding and with weeding each on a plot of 10,000 m². Observed parameters included leaf color, leaf shape, leaf damage level, total harvest weight, and farm income analysis. The results showed that weeding had a significant positive effect on the quality of horenso spinach leaves. In the weeding treatment, leaf color remained bright green and glossy until the third month, leaf shape was broad and symmetrical, and leaf damage was minimal. Conversely, without weeding, leaf color tended to become dull/yellowish, leaf shape became smaller and uneven, and leaf damage levels were high. In terms of quantity, the weeding treatment yielded a total harvest weight of 240,000 kg (24 kg/m²), while the non-weeding treatment produced only 60,000 kg (6 kg/m²). Economic analysis indicated that the total revenue (TR) for the weeding treatment reached ¥1,320,000,000 with a net income of ¥1,309,673,780, whereas the non-weeding treatment had a TR of ¥330,000,000 with a net income of ¥319,935,780. This study concludes that weeding not only improves the quality and quantity of production but also provides substantial economic benefits. Therefore, weeding is recommended as an essential cultivation practice to enhance horenso spinach farm productivity.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country that can meet the food needs of its people with its agricultural products. In terms of meeting the food needs of the community from agricultural products, it can be said that farmers have a very important role in meeting the food needs of the community. The Mandiri Sejati Farmers Group, Bulakamba District, Brebes Regency, a farmer group consisting of Pakijangan village residents who are engaged in agriculture, plantations and agribusiness. However, behind successful farmers there are tips for becoming farmers who are able to process their farming businesses to become successful farmers and increase community income. The research method and data analysis method used several data collection techniques including 1. Primary and secondary data sources 2. Data collection techniques 3. Sample Determination 4. Data Analysis. Data were obtained from observations and interviews with members of the True Independent Farmers Group. The results of field research show that farmer groups play a very important role in agricultural development, especially in increasing rice production in Pakijangan Village. The role of farmer groups as a learning class and a means of cooperation between groups is categorized as high with an average as a learning class of 2.47 and as a means of cooperation between groups of 2.52. While the role of the ani group as a production unit is categorized as medium with an average of 2.24.

Abstract

The meaning of written text, conversation, speech, and written text generally refers to different but related types of communication in linguistics. Written text is a form of communication that is systematically and completely arranged in writing, which can be understood independently without the presence of the speaker. Conversation is oral communication that takes place interactively, spontaneously, and bidirectionally, relying on context and direct feedback between participants. Meanwhile, speech is a form of oral communication that is structured and formal, such as a speech delivered to an audience with a specific purpose. Linguistically, text can encompass both written and spoken language as a unified whole of meaning, each having different functions and structures according to the context of use. Written text requires the proper use of grammar and punctuation to convey the message clearly, while oral communication is more flexible and influenced by intonation, pauses, and non-verbal expressions..

Abstract

Speaking is one of the important language skills in everyday life. One of the learning models that can improve these skills is SQ3R. This research aims to describe the steps, advantages, and disadvantages of SQ3R model implementation in language learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Rembang and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Kebumen. The research method used a qualitative approach with the research subjects being language teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the steps of SQ3R include: Survey, the teacher helps students examine the structure of the reading text; Question, the teacher gives directions to formulate clear and relevant questions; Read, students read actively to find answers; Recite, students restate answers without looking at notes; and Review, students review questions and answers. The advantages of this model are that it can arouse curiosity, increase motivation, encourage critical thinking, and help remember material longer. However, the weakness lies in the lack of accuracy and student activeness which can hinder understanding of the material. The study concluded that the SQ3R model is effective in improving students' speaking skills in language subjects.

Abstract

The current development of e-commerce in Indonesia cannot be separated from people's habits that demand practicality and speed. There has been a change in consumer behavior from usually buying food offline to now switching to buying food online using services in the marketplace. This has led to an increase in food delivery transactions. The purpose of this research is to determine the factors that influence consumer behavior in purchasing food using online delivery services. The sampling method used by the author is comfortable sampling, namely a sampling technique using free samples according to the author's wishes. The sample size is 100 respondents. The research results show that overall the factors have a significant influence and contribution simultaneously. And partially, the factor that has a significant influence is the personal control factor, while the attitude and subjective norm factors do not have a significant influence on online food purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan evaluasi program pendidikan Islam berbasis Total Quality Management (TQM) di MTs Negeri 1 Purworejo. Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia pada era kontemporer semakin mendapat perhatian karena kemampuannya mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan umum dengan nilai-nilai keislaman. Madrasah dituntut tidak hanya unggul dalam aspek keagamaan, tetapi juga dalam pengelolaan mutu pendidikan. Evaluasi program menjadi instrumen penting dalam menjawab tuntutan ini, khususnya melalui pendekatan Total Quality Management (TQM) yang menekankan orientasi pada peserta didik, keterlibatan seluruh pihak, pengambilan keputusan berbasis data, serta perbaikan berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi program telah berjalan secara terstruktur melalui rapat dinas, rapat komite, serta pemenuhan dokumen resmi Dalam praktiknya, evaluasi sudah mengarah pada prinsip TQM: fokus pada peserta didik terlihat dari pembinaan wali kelas dan layanan guru BK; keterlibatan stakeholder tampak melalui peran komite dan paguyuban kelas; pengambilan keputusan berbasis data didukung oleh laporan supervisi, absensi, dan hasil rapor; sedangkan upaya continuous improvement diwujudkan melalui tindak lanjut supervisi berupa pelatihan yang diikuti guru dan tenaga kependidikan baik itu program madrasah maupun mandiri. Meskipun implementasi TQM belum sepenuhnya merata, hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa evaluasi di MTs Negeri 1 Purworejo telah berkembang dari sekadar kewajiban administratif menjadi instrumen strategis peningkatan mutu pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The Campus Teaching Program Batch 7 has made significant contributions to improving the quality of education at SDN Siman, particularly in literacy, numeracy, and student learning motivation. With an experiential learning approach, student participants in the program provide innovative mentoring that helps overcome the challenges of basic education in areas with limited facilities. This program not only has an impact on students, but also on improving teacher competence, school community collaboration, and strengthening synergy between the community and educational institutions. However, the implementation of the program is not without challenges, such as limited internet connectivity and the diversity of programs that affect the focus of learning. Recommended solutions include the provision of offline modules, contextual training for teachers, and the use of impact matrices to increase the effectiveness of interventions. By integrating experiential and service-based learning, this program has the potential to become a model for educational transformation in areas with limited infrastructure.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari Program English Boost terhadap partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMP Al-Azhar 24 Hertasning Makassar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui observasi kelas selama pelaksanaan program. Observasi difokuskan pada keaktifan, kepercayaan diri, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam aktivitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam partisipasi siswa, kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris, dan keberanian untuk merespons di kelas. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ProgramEnglish Boost berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Shallot (Allium ascalonicum, L) is one of the leading agricultural commodities in Brebes Regency which is the national shallot center. Analysis of income and feasibility of shallot farming in Brebes has never been studied. This research was conducted to determine the study of income analysis and the feasibility of shallot farming carried out by farmers who are members of a combined farmer group (Gapoktan) Gandasuli sub-district, Brebes Regency. This research was conducted from February to March 2023 on shallot farmers at the Gapoktan located in Gandasuli Village, Brebes District, Brebes Regency. The location selection was carried out purposively with the consideration that Gapoktan is a combination of farmer groups that consistently cultivate shallots throughout the year. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study type of research. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The shallot farming business obtained a total farmer income of Rp. 200,000,000 with a total production cost of Rp. 152,110,000 and the income received is IDR 47,890,000. The results of the analysis obtained the R/C ratio value of 1.315 which indicates that the shallot farming carried out by Gapoktan "Tanihasil" Gandasuli Village, Brebes Regency is feasible to cultivate with a BEP value of Rp. 190,140,000. Farmers with a productive age and long experience working in shallot farming will influence the success of shallot cultivation.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kontribusi mahasiswa dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Universitas Pamulang di Yayasan Panti Asuhan Sahabat Yatim Graha Raya, yang berlokasi di Jl. Boulevard Graha Raya No. 15 Blok N1, Paku Jaya, Serpong Utara, Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten. Yayasan ini membina anak-anak yatim penghafal Al-Qur’an yang memiliki semangat tinggi, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam aspek psikologis dan sosial, seperti rendahnya konsentrasi belajar dan terbatasnya interaksi emosional yang positif. Kegiatan PKM dirancang untuk memberikan stimulus edukatif dan spiritual melalui permainan fokus, pelatihan konsentrasi, serta kegiatan muroja’ah sambung ayat. Metode pelaksanaan bersifat interaktif dengan pendekatan yang menyenangkan dan komunikatif, agar anak-anak dapat belajar secara aktif dan nyaman. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan peserta, munculnya ekspresi positif selama sesi berlangsung, serta terbangunnya hubungan emosional yang hangat antara mahasiswa dan anak-anak asrama. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan pengalaman berharga bagi mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan empati sosial, keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya peran aktif di tengah masyarakat. Dengan demikian, kegiatan PKM ini memberikan manfaat dua arah yang seimbang, baik bagi anak-anak yatim maupun mahasiswa.
