Abstract

This research aimed to develop fun thinkers book learning media on the topic of “Peristiwa alam yang terjadi di Indonesia” for grade V elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the learning media. This research was research and development involving six steps: (1) problem analysis, (2) data information collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product revision, and (6) product testing. The subjects in this study were 10 grade V students. The data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and validity assessments from material experts, language experts, media experts, as well as a questionnaire of students’ responses. The result of this research was a fun thinkers book learning media consisting of two components: a book and a frame. The feasibility of the media was obtained from the assessments of the experts, namely media experts, material experts, language experts, and students’ responses, with average percentages of 90.8%, 97.5%, 81.82%, and 82.23%, respectively. Based on these results, it was concluded that the fun thinkers book learning media was feasible to be used as a learning media on the topic of “Peristiwa alam yang terjadi di Indonesia.”

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of teacher pedagogical competence in reinforcing self-confidence through online learning to grade I students of SD IKS, Banten. The subjects of this study were class I teachers. The data collection techniques used by this researcher were through observation, interviews, and documentation. The observations were conducted in four meetings. The data analysis used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the first-grade teachers of SD IKS had made efforts to implement pedagogical competencies in strengthening self-confidence. The teacher carried out strengthening self-confidence by including the cultivation of a confident character in every lesson plan (lesson plan) that the teacher made. In addition, strengthening the character of self-confidence in the online learning process was also carried out by applying the question and answer method, contextual and giving quizzes to students to spur students' selfconfidence. From strengthening the character of students' self-confidence, students were expected to be active, independent, and responsible.

Abstract

This study aimed to see the internalization of “Mari Buang Sampah Pada Tempatnya” (Marbungsamtem) Program at SDN Taman Ciruas Permai. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method. Data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the principal, teachers, and parents of students. Observations were made in two places, namely environment SDN Taman Ciruas Permai and the students’ housing environment of Taman Ciruas Permai. Meanwhile, the documentation was carried out at the time of pre-research and research. This documentation was done when the interview was finished at school as well as at students’ homes during the observation activities as well as doing research documentation. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the process of internalizing “Mari Buang Sampah Pada Tempatnya” (Marbungsamtem) Program to the character of environmental care was implemented in two stages, namely planning and implementation. (2) factors inhibiting and supporting the internalization of “Mari Buang Sampah Pada Tempatnya” (Marbungsamtem) Program to the character of environmental care came from the school environment and the home environment of students.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine how to develop Rubergi (Rumah Sumber Energi) Learning Media based on 3-D media at grade IV, to determine the feasibility of Rubergi learning media, and to determine students’ responses to rubergi learning media. This research was conducted at SDN Toyomerto 2, which involved 33 grade IV students. 13 students were on a limited trial. This type of research utilized the Trianto development model. This development consisted of the Definition Stage (Define), the Design Stage (Design), and the Development Stage (Develop). However, the research was limited to the development stage (Develop), which was only up to the final product stage. The instruments used were in the form of a questionnaire sheet for media validation by the lecturer and a students’ response questionnaire sheet. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the feasibility of Rubergi learning media was in very feasible category with a percentage of 87.14% from two media experts, in very feasible category with a percentage of 81.73% from two material experts, and in very feasible category with a percentage of 84.5% from two education experts. The students’ responses to Rubergi learning media in a trial with 13 respondents were 85.72% in the very good category. Based on these results, the final product, Rubergi learning media, was feasible to be used in the learning activities for grade four elementary school students.

Abstract

This research was a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research type. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in creative thinking skills between students taught by visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model and students taught by direct learning model. This research was conducted at grade IV SDN 2 Pagelaran. The data collection technique was done by testing. The main instrument in this research was a test of students' creative thinking skills. Then, data were analyzed through descriptive statistic data and inferential statistical data. The posttest results revealed that the average score of students' creative thinking skills in the experimental class was 68.8, while the average score in the control class was 58.6. It was seen from the average difference test that the comparison of the testing criteria was tcount ≥ ttable or 4.41 ≥ 2.019. From the results, it was stated that there was a difference in students' creative thinking abilities between the control class and the experimental class. After that, it was also tested with the right side test in which tcount ≥ ttable or 4.09 ≥ 1.671, with a significant level of 0.05. Based on the results, it was concluded that the students had better creative thinking abilities after being taught by visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) model than students taught by direct learning model.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop ruliba media based on local wisdom for learning the balance of ecosystem in the natural science subject at grade V SD a well as to determine the feasibilityof the learning media and the users’ response after using ruliba media based on local wisdom. This study used research and development as the research method, with Borg and Gall development model that have been modified by Sugiyono into 6 stages, namely: 1) problem analysis,2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision and 6) product testing (limited trial). The product of this research was ruliba learning media based on local wisdom for learning the balance of ecosystem in the natural science subject at grade V SD. The feasibility level of ruliba media was determined based on the assessment results from the experts consisting of material experts, media experts, ethnopedagogic experts, as well as teachers’ and students’ response. The average percentage of each assessment result was respectively 97.5%, 92.5%, 81%, 100%, and 95.6% which achieved the category of “very feasible” and “very good”. Based on this result, it could be concluded that local wisdom- based ruliba learning media was suitable to be used as a learning media for ecosystem balance lesson.

Abstract

Education is part of a lifelong learning process that takes place in all corners of life and situations that have a positive influence on the growth of each individual. Awareness and concern for the environment are very important, especially in ensuring that the environment and living creatures, including animals, can coexist. Educational institutions play an important role in instilling values that protect the environment in students. Conservation education is a way of learning to build awareness of the surrounding environment. Conservation education is a method or activity that aims to provide information and build awareness among the community, including children, teenagers, students, and community leaders. Based on interviews conducted with the school at SDN Banjar Agung 4, the teaching materials provided are those facilitated by the government, such as printed materials in the form of books. The activities provided are limited to the introduction in the books. Based on the background description, the problems in this study are how to develop teaching materials on ecosystems based on conservation education with the topic of fauna at SDN Banjar Agung 4, how feasible the teaching materials on ecosystems based on conservation education with the topic of fauna developed by teachers at SDN Banjar Agung 4 are, and how students respond to teaching materials on ecosystems based on conservation education with the topic of fauna. The objectives of this study are to identify and describe the process of developing teaching materials for conservation education with a focus on fauna, to determine the feasibility of teaching materials for ecosystem-based conservation education, and to identify student responses to teaching materials for conservation education that focus on fauna at SDN Banjar Agung 4. The research method used is a research and development method that develops products in the form of teaching materials. The results of this study show that the subject matter experts categorized the teaching materials as “Highly Feasible” for practical use in the field. Meanwhile, the media experts categorized the teaching materials as “Feasible.” These results indicate that the teaching materials are “Feasible.”

Abstract

Melihat era digital yang kian maju dengan pesat, literasi digital menjadi keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik, sehingga memerlukan adanya media pembelajaran inovatif, seperti Educandy, yang mampu meningkatkan literasi digital melalui penyajian materi yang interaktif, menarik, dan menyenangkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni berfokus pada pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran Educandy terhadap peningkatan literasi digital siswa. Penelitian yang peneliti gunakan yakni metode kuasi eksperimen, desain penelitiannya yakni nonequivalent control group. Kelas eksperimen akan diberikan perlakuan ICT, pada penelitian ini ICT yang digunakan yakni media pembelajaran Educandy dengan media konvendional pada kelas kontrol. Pretest dan posttest menjadi instrumen penelitian, sedangkan analisis pada data hasil dengan uji Mann Whitney kemudian uji N-Gain. Pada hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas, di mana nilai posttest rata-rata dan N-Gain kelas eksperimen (0,702) yang berkategori tinggi, sedangkan peningkatan sedang (0,412) pada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan uji Mann Whitney, diperoleh nilai Z hitung sebesar 2,22, lebih besar dari Z tabel 1,96, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kedua kelompok. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Educandy efektif dalam Upaya meningkatkan literasi digital siswa melalui pembelajaran yang mendukung pemahaman materi, motivasi belajar, serta pemanfaatan teknologi secara optimal.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi sains peserta didik di Indonesia yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang mendukung keaktifan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji perbedaan yang signifikan dari model PjBL berbantuan Canva dengan model kooperatif tipe GI terhadap literasi sains pada pembelajaran IPAS berdasarkan komponen literasi sains menurut OECD, untuk menguji peningkatan dari model PjBL berbantuan Canva terhadap literasi sains menurut OECD, serta untuk mendeskripsikan profil literasi sains pada pembelajaran dengan model PjBL berbantuan media digital Canva dengan model kooperatif tipe Grup Investigasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan peserta didik kelas VA dan VB yang masing-masing berjumlah 37 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan penggunaan model PjBL dengan model GI dengan thitung(2,64) ≥ ttabel(1,99); (2) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi sains, dimana thitung(2,16) > ttabel(1,67) dan uji N-Gain dengan rata-rata 0,56 > 0,39; (3) profil literasi sains keduanya memiliki kategori baik, dengan rerata 79% dan 67%.

Abstract

Banyak peserta didik sekolah dasar masih mengalami kesulitan dalam mengasah keterampilan berpikir kritis, terutama dalam pelajaran IPAS, karena kurangnya media pembelajaran yang interaktif dengan konteks kehidupan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap, yaitu analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara, observasi, angket, validasi ahli, dokumentasi, serta  pretest dan posttest. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media pembelajaran berbasis AR tergolong sangat layak dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 93,63%. Sementara itu, uji efektivitas melalui perhitungan N-Gain Score menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan rata-rata N-Gain mencapai 0,84 atau 84,31% termasuk pada kategori tinggi. Respon terhadap media ini juga tergolong positif dan menunjukkan efektivitas yang baik. Media pembelajaran AR terbukti layak dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada topik keanekaragaman flora dan fauna.
