Buffer solution material was chosen in the process of developing an instrument based on multiple representations, because the buffer solution material contains many representations. Buffer solution material requires explanations in various forms of representation that can visualize the buffer solution material so that students are expected to be able to observe the symptoms that occur and analyze and draw more comprehensive conclusions. This study aims to measure students' conceptual understanding of buffer solution material based on aspects of material, language, construction, and conceptual understanding. The method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model, involving two schools, SMAN 1 and SMAN 7 Pekanbaru. The validation results by three expert lecturers showed Aiken's (V) values ranging from 0.88-0.97, with instrument reliability stated as good (Cronbach's alpha = 0.815). The level of difficulty of the questions consisted of 4% easy, 84% moderate, and 12% difficult. Measurement of conceptual understanding in 50 students showed a significant difference with a significance value of 0.012 <0.05, so H0 was rejected. The assessment instrument was declared valid and reliable for buffer solution material.

This research was motivated by the difficulty of students in understanding the concepts in chemical material. The goal of this research is to see the differences in learning outcomes between students who are given two different learning models and see it from Goal Oriention (GO) factors owned by students. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 01 Pekanbaru City. The variables in this study were the Learning Model and GO characters (independent variables) and chemistry learning outcomes (the dependent variable). The results of data analysis on One Way Anava was a sig. 0.02 for the application of two learning models and the Independent Sample T-Test obtained sig. 0.02 and sig. 0.32. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that student learning outcomes with those taught with the DL model were better than students taught with the PBL model. Learning outcomes MGO students who are taught with the DL model are better than those taught with the PBL model and there is no difference in the learning outcomes of the PGO students who are taught with the PBL learning model with students who are taught using the DL model.

Referring to the current era of globalization, which refers the era of revolution 4.0, the use of today's technology in the learning process can be utilized. One of them is in applying ordinary modules into e-modules. The purpose of this study is the use of e-module stoichiometry based on Kvisoft flipbook maker to see the magnitude of the increase in students' understanding of the concept of stoichiometry. The research design used was a pre-experiment with a pretest-posttest design using one class as an experimental class. The sample in this study were students of the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Pekanbaru class X KI 2. The results obtained were an increase in students' understanding of the concept from before using the e-module based on the koftoft flipbook maker with an average value of 40.2. After using Kvisoft flipbook maker based e-module the average value increased to 92.48. Large increase obtained by 0.83 with the category of moderate increase.

Improving the quality of education can take advantage of technology that is currently increasingly advanced. The expected result, the education world is no longer awkward in using technology to improve its quality. One of the lessons that requires learning media technology is chemistry. This study aims to develop interactive learning media using Autoplay Studio 8 for Hydrocarbon material and conducting some tests to determine the response of educators and students as well. The media created were tested, including testing the feasibility based on expert validation and the responses of educators and students to the developed media. The research method used in the development of instructional media that used a research and development (R&D) approach. Overall the interactive learning media Autoplay Studio 8 developed was declared valid by a validator consisting of three material experts and three media experts with an average percentage value of media experts being 94.15%, and an average percentage of material experts 93 7%. The response of chemistry teachers and students with an average percentage score was 94.6% and 92.33% categorized as very practical. It can be concluded that media is ready to use in the real learning process.

The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the improvement of students' thinking skills using collaborative learning techniques Think-Pair-Share and Group Investigation. The research used was a quasi-experimental research design with non equivalent control posttest design. The data collection technique used critical thinking skills questions consisting of 5 essay test questions. Based on the research results of hypothesis testing using paired simple t-test , the results obtained were sig (2-tailed) <0.05, which means that collaborative learning of GI and TPS techniques is effective on critical thinking skills than the control class. Hypothesis testing is to see significant differences between collaborative learning. TPS and GI techniques used independent sample t-test and the results obtained were sig (2-tailed) <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between collaborative learning of GI and TPS techniques on critical thinking skills. For the average percentage of critical thinking skills in the collaborative learning class, the Think-Pair-Share technique is 80.57% and Group Investigation is 76.73%, and in the control class it is 68.45%, which means the application of collaborative learning techniques Think-Pair- Share is more effectively used in improving students' critical thinking skills on chemical equilibrium material.

The purpose of this study was the development of a chemoentrepreneurship based student worksheet (LKM) to increase the entrepreneurial interest in chemistry teacher candidates. The sample of this study was 115 students of the Department of Chemistry at the University of Riau and the State Islamic University (UIN) Sultan Syarif Kasim in the 6th semester of the 2019 academic year. The results obtained at the validation stage of MFI development were 95% with the valid category. The results of the small-scale test on the one-one test obtained an average percentage of 84.80% which was included in the very practical category. Furthermore, the lecturer response obtained an average percentage of assessment of 90.40% with the LKM category being well used in the learning process. The results of the small-scale trial assessment obtained an average percentage of the assessment of 85.16% which falls into the very practical category. The results of large-scale student assessments after using the LKM developed through filling out the student response questionnaires obtained an average score percentage of 80.63% with the practical category. The results of the increase in the entrepreneurial interest of UR students as a whole were 80.61, including the high category, and the results of the UIN students' interest in entrepreneurship as a whole were 81.64 including the very high category.

The research has been conducted to figure out the use of virtual laboratories on students' conceptual understanding of acid-base titration subject at SMAN 1 Tambusai. The study was an experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of one class, XI IPA2, a class that was treated with a virtual laboratory. The data analysis technique used was the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing using the t-test, it was obtained that sig 5 ≤0.05; where 0,000 ≤ 0.05; so it was concluded that there were significant differences between the mean scores of the pretest and posttest. This shows that there is an increase by the use of virtual laboratories towards the students' conceptual understanding.

Efforts to improve the quality of Integrated Science learning for junior high schools in the era of globalization that are following the challenges of 21st-century education can be done through the use of connected type interactive e modules. The study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the e-module on students' mastery of energy concepts. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative quasi-experimental type with a matching-only pretest posttest control group design. The research was conducted in one of the public junior high schools in Bangkinang with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using research instruments in the form of mastery of concepts in energy material. Data analysis was performed using pre-requisite test, statistical test (different test; t-test), and N-Gain test. The results obtained show that the use of the connected type of integrated science interactive e module can improve students' mastery of concepts on energy material in the experimental class with the medium category.
