Abstract

In the Refill Drinking Water Depot business, of course, it is very important to distribute refilled water to every consumer, design optimal distribution to save time, transportation costs, as well as effective and efficient distribution channels, AMIU RO Supardi is one of the SMEs engaged in the Water Sector. Drinking Refills, the problem faced by this Ro depot is the needs of consumers and the absence of distribution channels. The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimum distribution route using the saving matrix method. After doing research using the Saving Matrix method, the number of distribution routes can be reduced from 16 routes to 11 routes. The original mileage of 113.76 km can be reduced to 40.21 kilometers, which means the distance can be shortened/saving 65% or about 73.55 kilometers. Decreasing routes results in lower shipping costs. Initial cost Rp. 163,800, down to Rp. 125,025. Thus, there is a saving in the delivery of refilled drinking water of Rp. 38,755 or about 24%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of continuous improvement on the productivity of the Cam Housing Assy C line using the PDCA method. It is known that for the period of July 2021~November 2021, the achievement of the Cam Housing Assy C line productivity is the lowest. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, and literature study. The Line Cam Housing Assy C has 7 man power with an average per shift producing 408.9 pcs, but there is still losstime. The most influential losstime on productivity is when preparing hatsumono (3.5%). To reduce the losstime, it is necessary to make improvements in the form of increasing efficiency by increasing the number of pcs/hour by each man power. Methods of data analysis using PDCA tools and Analysis of Muda, Mura, Muri. The results of this study were able to increase productivity from 8.43 Man.min/pcs to 6 Man.Min/pcs and increase the production line capacity from 408.9 pcs/shift to 470 pcs/shift.

Abstract

At the end of April 2024, national car sales for the domestic market were recorded to have decreased by 34.91% compared to the previous month. This negative trend, of course, disrupts company profits, including PT XYZ as a supplier of automotive components in Indonesia. This decline triggered the company to carry out cost reduction activities in the production area. However, in reality there is still a lot of waste during production, one of which is in the 650T injection molding process. The high cycle time of the injection process resulted in the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) target not being achieved. The lean manufacturing approach and DMAIC cycle as a research method aims to identify non-value added activities as well as make improvements by reducing the injection process cycle time from 86 to 57 seconds. These improvements made the OEE target for the 650T injection machine achieved because it increased from 67.9% to 76.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Frekwensi Pemesanan, Biaya Persediaan, Reorder Point (ROP), dan Safety Stock (SS) tanah liat pada perusahaan Keramik yang berlokasi di Cileungsi Bogor. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) adalah ±948 ton per order, dengan frekuensi pemesanan sekitar 32 kali per tahun dengan siklus 11-12 hari sekali. Reorder Point (ROP) ditetapkan pada ±428 ton dengan persediaan pengaman (safety stock) sebesar 18.428 kg (±18 ton). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan EOQ, ROP, dan Safety Stock mampu membantu perusahaan dalam menyeimbangkan biaya pemesanan dan biaya penyimpanan, sekaligus meminimalkan risiko kekurangan bahan baku. Dengan strategi persediaan yang tepat, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional serta menjaga kelancaran produksi. Disarankan bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan metode EOQ secara berkelanjutan, mengevaluasi kapasitas gudang, serta mempertimbangkan faktor lain seperti diskon kuantitas, biaya transportasi, dan risiko kerusakan bahan baku. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat mengkombinasikan EOQ dengan metode lain seperti Just In Time (JIT) atau Material Requirement Planning (MRP) agar strategi pengendalian persediaan semakin adaptif terhadap kondisi pasar dan rantai pasok.

Abstract

PT XYZ menghadapi permasalahan tingginya jumlah cacat silver pada produk battery case yang diproduksi melalui proses injection molding, dengan persentase defect berkisar 0,13%–0,43% dan melebihi batas toleransi perusahaan sebesar 0,25%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab cacat silver dan menyusun prioritas usulan perbaikan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi diagram Pareto untuk menentukan cacat dominan, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) melalui fishbone diagram untuk mengidentifikasi akar penyebab, dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) untuk menentukan prioritas risiko berdasarkan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN). Hasil RCA mengidentifikasi lima faktor penyebab, yaitu material, machine, method, man, dan environment. Hasil FMEA menunjukkan bahwa material lembab merupakan faktor risiko tertinggi dengan RPN 384, diikuti lingkungan produksi lembab dengan RPN 288. Usulan perbaikan difokuskan pada pengendalian kelembaban material dan lingkungan produksi melalui perbaikan standar penyimpanan, pengecekan material sebelum digunakan, serta optimasi sistem ventilasi area produksi.

Abstract

Proses laminating merupakan tahapan krusial dalam produksi kartu bank di PT. XYZ, di mana ketidakstabilan parameter proses sering kali memicu timbulnya produk cacat seperti delaminasi dan gelembung udara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan parameter proses laminating guna menurunkan persentase cacat dan meningkatkan kualitas produk serta efisiensi produksi menggunakan metode Taguchi. Faktor-faktor yang diuji dalam penelitian ini meliputi temperatur, tekanan, dan waktu laminasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis nilai rata-rata dan Signal to Noise Ratio (S/N Ratio), ditemukan bahwa temperatur merupakan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kualitas hasil laminating dengan nilai delta sebesar 6,66. Kombinasi parameter optimum yang direkomendasikan adalah A3B2C1, yang merepresentasikan pengaturan temperatur 150°C, tekanan 40 Bar, dan waktu laminasi 15 menit. Pada kondisi temperatur 150°C, ikatan antar lapisan PVC menjadi lebih sempurna, sementara tekanan 40 Bar memberikan distribusi tekanan yang merata tanpa mendegradasi material, dan waktu 15 menit mampu mencegah pemanasan berlebih (overheating). Implementasi kombinasi parameter optimal ini diprediksi dapat menghasilkan proses produksi yang lebih stabil, meminimalkan produk cacat secara signifikan, dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi secara keseluruhan dibandingkan kondisi sebelum optimasi.

Abstract

Pengadaan barang merupakan aktivitas krusial yang berdampak langsung terhadap efisiensi operasional perusahaan. PT XXX saat ini menghadapi kendala pada proses pengadaan, khususnya terkait ketidakpastian waktu pengiriman oleh vendor Alat Tulis Kantor (ATK). Berdasarkan data Purchase Order (PO) periode Maret 2026, ditemukan kesenjangan performa antar vendor, di mana salah satu vendor utama memiliki tingkat ketidakpatuhan mencapai 50%. Selain itu, proses pemilihan vendor yang berjalan saat ini masih bersifat subjektif dan belum memiliki acuan terstruktur, sehingga berisiko menghasilkan keputusan yang tidak optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model evaluasi dan pemilihan vendor yang objektif dengan menerapkan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi harga, kualitas produk, ketepatan pengiriman, dan pelayanan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner perbandingan berpasangan (pairwise comparison) yang melibatkan 10 responden internal yang berkompeten. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode AHP mampu memberikan struktur penilaian yang sistematis dalam menentukan prioritas kriteria serta pemilihan vendor terbaik. Implementasi model AHP ini diharapkan dapat membantu manajemen PT XXX dalam memitigasi risiko keterlambatan pengiriman, menjaga efisiensi biaya, serta mengoptimalkan produktivitas operasional perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In today’s competitive manufacturing industry, maintaining high production efficiency and minimizing machine downtime are critical challenges, particularly in the food sector. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of ten CBP product packaging machines at PT. XYZ using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The research employs a quantitative approach based on primary data collected through direct observation and interviews. The OEE method measures machine performance through three indicators: Availability, Performance, and Quality. The results show that the average OEE value from October to December 2023 is 94%, exceeding the world-class standard of 85%. The dominant loss affecting effectiveness was Equipment Failure Losses (50%), followed by Rework and Defect Losses (22% each). These losses are primarily caused by machine wear, material issues, and operator handling errors. The findings indicate that the OEE method serves as an effective tool for monitoring production efficiency and planning preventive maintenance. Regular operator evaluations and standardized maintenance procedures are recommended to sustain high equipment performance levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image dan word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian produk air minum dalam kemasan merek Aqua dengan kepuasan konsumen sebagai variabel mediasi di Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel sebanyak 93 responden konsumen Aqua di Bekasi diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling dan snowball sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi dan path analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image dan word of mouth berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen maupun terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kepuasan konsumen terbukti memediasi hubungan antara brand image dan word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian. Perusahaan perlu menjaga citra merek yang kuat dan mendorong komunikasi positif antar konsumen guna meningkatkan kepuasan dan keputusan pembelian

Abstract

PT Prestasi Cahaya Metalindo faces challenges in raw material warehouse management, including unstructured material storage, mixed material categories, incomplete labeling, and the absence of standardized location codes, which lead to inefficiencies in material retrieval and limited traceability between stock records and physical storage locations. This study aims to analyze the current warehouse condition and propose an improvement model using a conceptual Warehouse Management System (WMS) approach and the 5S method. The research applies a descriptive quantitative method with a case study approach, where data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, material searching time measurement, 5S assessment, and stock data analysis. The WMS approach is applied as a conceptual and structured framework for warehouse identification and control, not as a digital software system, focusing on improving material coding, location identification, and stock-location integration based on physical warehouse conditions, while the 5S method is used to evaluate and improve workplace organization. The results indicate that the proposed improvement model provides a potential enhancement in warehouse performance under a designed condition scenario, where material searching time decreases from 10.5 minutes per item to 3.9 minutes per item and the 5S score increases from 43% to 84%, although these results represent a proposed system that has not yet been implemented in actual operational conditions and require further validation. This study highlights that integrating structured warehouse identification systems with workplace organization principles can improve warehouse efficiency in manufacturing environments.
