Abstract

Indonesia, as the largest maritime country in the world, is currently racing to increase maritime transportation capacity, thereby creating quite a lot of job opportunities in the shipping sector. The seafaring profession with fantastic salaries attracts people who want their financial levels to be guaranteed. Problems often faced by seafarers include high levels of consumerism and a high lifestyle which can cause seafarers to experience poverty at the end of their productive years. This research aims to determine the extent of cadets' understanding of financial instruments and financial management, as well as to provide them with awareness of the importance of financial management. The dimensions used are financial literacy, financial attitudes, and financial management. This research used a sample of 33 cadets at the Bhakti Samudera Surabaya Shipping Vocational School and the data was analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research results concluded that the cadets had good financial literacy, were able to make planned financial decisions, and had sufficient financial management skills. Cadets have an awareness of financial planning and management, including in the form of investments in fixed assets and savings funds. Cadets can record their income and expenses so that financial management can be carried out optimally.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja dan Disiplin terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BPSDM) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari seluruh pegawai BPSDM Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, yang berjumlah 133 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, jumlah sampel yang digunakan relatif besar, dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin untuk menentukan sampel sebanyak 57 pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan kuesioner, dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Inferensial (regresi linear berganda). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, Lingkungan Kerja dan Disiplin memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan saling berhubungan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor BPSDM Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Secara spesifik, Lingkungan Kerja dan Disiplin secara positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa 61,7% variasi dalam kinerja pegawai dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Lingkungan Kerja dan Disiplin yang diteliti, sementara 38,3% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Sustainability is currently the focus of the government in various long-term national development policies, balancing various aspects ranging from environmental sustainability, economic, social, cultural and others. One interesting aspect study is about sustainable consumption. Studies related to consumption behavior so as not to pollute the environment and waste-based waste have not been widely carried out and integrated. Sustainable consumption is also able as an effort to optimize circular economy strategies that can be carried out including by students in higher education. Based on these problems, the purpose of this research is to conduct a study and preparation of circular economy optimization strategies based on food waste based on the participation of Semarang State University students, involving various stakeholders related to sustainable consumption. The research methodology is a mixed methods approach, namely qualitative by means of interviews, observation and documentation and quantitative through stakeholder interaction mapping using MACTOR (Matric of Alliance, Conflicts, Tactics, Objectives, Recommendations). The results concluded that the role of actors/stakeholders is very important in efforts to optimize the circular economy based on food waste. Actors/stakeholders consist of ABCGM elements, namely Academics, Business, Community, Government and Media. Actors with the highest/strongest level of convergence are AKADEMISI1, KOMUNITAS1 and MAHASISWA1. Meanwhile, the strongest goals/objectives that are able to collaborate the actors/stakeholders in achieving the research objectives are the Ability to Innovate and Competitiveness (INOVASI), Natural Balance, Production and Profit (3P) and Community Empowerment (BERDAYA).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of assessment methods and learning styles on online learning satisfaction with self-efficacy as a moderating variable. The study surveyed 228 students from the accounting education major program at a public university in Indonesia. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and moderation regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that the assessment method and learning styles affected student learning satisfaction. In addition, this study also found that self-efficacy moderated the effect of the assessment method and learning styles on student learning satisfaction. This finding suggests that lecturers can use online assessment methods that are based on student interest so that students can enjoy learning in class and increase the level of satisfaction students can increase. Not only that, but the assessment process will also be a success if the faculty supports every technical source to make online learning run smoothly. Furthermore, when students have self-efficacy when choosing their specific learning style during the assessment process, their satisfaction with online learning will increase. The current study contributes to the existing body of knowledge by stressing that assessment and learning methods are significantly helpful in students’ satisfaction-related self-efficacy.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the current employee performance of Hotel D'Shining in Barru Regency. The variables used in this study are Organizational Culture (X1), Work Life Balance (X2), Work Discipline (X3) and employee performance (Y). The sample in this study was 70 respondents. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research using primary data. While the analysis method used in this study is data validity test, data reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, simultaneous influence test (F test), partial influence test (t) and simultaneous determination test R2. The research results show that (1)Organizational culture has a significant positive influence on the performance of employees at Hotel D'Shining in Barru Regency. (2) Work Life Balance has a significant positive influence on the performance of employees at Hotel D'Shining in Barru Regency. (3) Work discipline has a significant positive influence on the performance of employees at Hotel D'Shining in Barru Regency. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of village apparatus competence (VAC), organizational commitment (OC), and the whistleblowing system (WS) on village financial management (VF), with work motivation (WM) as a moderating variable. This research is quantitative and uses a causal approach. The populations of this research are village official in Sragi District, with a total sample of 112 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive and moderation regression analysis (MRA) with the SmartPLS analysis tool. The research results show that village apparatus competence, organizational commitment, and the whistleblowing system have affects on village financial management. Work motivation can moderate and strengthen the relationship between organizational commitment and village financial management. Besides, it does not strengthen the relationship between whistleblowing on village financial management. This research makes a valuable contribution to the accounting field, particularly in the context of public sector organizations, by applying Stewardship theory. It applies the relationship of collaboration between the steward and the principal to accomplish the village's objectives. The orisinality of this research lies in the incorporating of a whistleblowing system and work motivation as the moderation factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses produksi dan manajemen operasional di PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, produsen Pocari Sweat, melalui metode observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perusahaan menerapkan proses produksi yang efisien dan terintegrasi, mulai dari pengadaan bahan baku hingga distribusi produk. Manajemen kualitas yang ketat dan penerapan prinsip lean manufacturing berkontribusi pada efisiensi operasional. Selain itu, tantangan dalam persaingan pasar dan perubahan permintaan konsumen memerlukan perusahaan untuk terus berinovasi. Rekomendasi untuk perbaikan meliputi peningkatan inovasi produk, investasi teknologi, dan pelatihan karyawan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi praktik manajemen operasional di industri makanan dan minuman.

Abstract

This study explores the unique role of Sharia compliance in shaping user behavior toward digital payment systems, focusing on the Islamic digital-payment platform. It aims to examine how perceived convenience, and perceived risk influence attitudes and interests in adopting Sharia-compliant digital payments. Using a quantitative approach, the research targets the users of LinkAja Sharia, Indonesia, employing purposive judgment sampling resulting in 150 response rates. Data were analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (PLS- SEM). The findings indicate that perceived convenience and perceived risk significantly and positively affect both attitudes and interest. Moreover, attitudes mediate the relationship between these perceptions and interest. The study underscores how aligning financial technology with Islamic principles adds trust and appeal, offering valuable insights for developers aiming to integrate ethical and religious values into fintech innovations for Muslim markets, and global endeavors.

Abstract

The location of this research was carried out in the mining concession area of PT. Vale site Bahudopi at 22 observation points. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of the soil and rock layers of the research area based on the Cone Penetration Test (CPT). The location of this research was carried out in the mining concession area of PT. Vale site Bahudopi at 22 observation points (Figure 1). The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, namely, research that describes the conditions of a particular project with existing data, where the results obtained are data in the form of numbers. Meanwhile, data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The characteristics of the soil and rock layers of the research area based on the Cone Penetration Test (CPT) are: In the CPT data group in the northern part, it can be seen that the majority of rocks up to a depth of 4 meters have quite low friction sleeve and cone resistance values, namely below 20 kg/cm2. which indicates that the soil thickness is quite high in most parts of the area. In the CPT data group in the Southern part, it can be seen that the majority of rocks can be seen to have experienced several changes in hardness or pressure values, which can be seen from changes in qc and fs/FR values. From this, it can be concluded that the soil around the CPT data collection area is not homogeneous but still shows a tendency to be composed of the same type of rock but differs in friction sleeve and cone resistance values which could be caused by a high level of weathering so that the composition of the soil layers /soil is quite thick.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kepercayaan masyarakat Desa Mojorejo, Kecamatan Pungging, Kabupaten Mojokerto terhadap konsep "hari sial" dalam perspektif Islam. Meskipun kepercayaan ini masih bertahan sejak zaman jahiliyah, Islam menegaskan bahwa tidak ada hari yang secara inheren membawa kesialan atau keberuntungan, karena segala sesuatu yang terjadi adalah bagian dari takdir Allah SWT. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis teks Al-Qur'an dan tafsir, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih rasional dan spiritual, serta mendorong masyarakat meninggalkan kepercayaan yang tidak sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Penelitian ini menganalisis kepercayaan masyarakat Desa Mojorejo, Kecamatan Pungging, Kabupaten Mojokerto terhadap konsep "hari sial," terutama di bulan Suro, serta mengevaluasi keyakinan ini dari perspektif Islam. Meskipun kepercayaan ini kuat dan diwariskan turun-temurun, Islam menolak konsep "hari sial" dan mengajarkan bahwa segala sesuatu yang terjadi adalah bagian dari takdir Allah SWT. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis dan fenomenologis untuk memahami bagaimana persepsi hari sial terbentuk dalam konteks sosial dan kultural. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan ini bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam dan perlu digantikan dengan pemahaman yang lebih rasional dan spiritual. Abstract This study explores the beliefs of the people of Mojorejo Village, Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency towards the concept of "unlucky days" from an Islamic perspective. Although this belief has persisted since the time of ignorance, Islam emphasizes that there is no day that inherently brings bad luck or good fortune, because everything that happens is part of the destiny of Allah SWT. By using the approach of analyzing the text of the Qur'an and interpretation, this study aims to provide a more rational and spiritual understanding, and encourage people to abandon beliefs that are not in accordance with Islamic teachings. This study analyzes the beliefs of the people of Mojorejo Village, Pungging District, Mojokerto Regency towards the concept of "unlucky days," especially in the month of Suro, and evaluates this belief from an Islamic perspective. Although this belief is strong and has been passed down from generation to generation, Islam rejects the concept of "unlucky days" and teaches that everything that happens is part of the destiny of Allah SWT. This study uses a sociological and phenomenological approach to understand how the perception of unlucky days is formed in a social and cultural context. The results show that this belief is contrary to Islamic teachings and needs to be replaced with a more rational and spiritual understanding.
