Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi sarana dan prasarana laboratorium IPA di jenjang sekolah menengah pertama dan madrasah tsanawiyah pada Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah meninjau sejauh mana fasilitas laboratorium IPA, termasuk kondisi ruang dan kelengkapan sarana, mampu mendukung keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada lima sekolah menengah pertama, yaitu SMP Negeri A, SMP Negeri B, SMP Negeri C, MTs Negeri A, dan MTs Negeri B yang berada di salah satu kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode komparatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi menggunakan daftar ceklis. Aspek yang dievaluasi mencakup empat kategori sesuai dengan standar Permendiknas No. 24 Tahun 2007, yaitu: (1) ruang laboratorium IPA, (2) perabot dan media pembelajaran, (3) peralatan pendidikan, serta (4) perlengkapan lainnya. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode skoring. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana laboratorium IPA di SMP Negeri A mencapai 93%, SMP Negeri B sebesar 88%, SMP Negeri C sebesar 72%, MTs Negeri A sebesar 75%, dan MTs Negeri B sebesar 70%. Secara keseluruhan, sarana dan prasarana laboratorium di kelima sekolah tersebut masih belum mencapai kondisi ideal karena belum memenuhi 100% dari standar yang ditetapkan dalam Permendiknas No. 24 Tahun 2007. Kekurangan dalam kelengkapan laboratorium ini berpotensi menghambat kelancaran proses pembelajaran serta dapat berdampak pada pengembangan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.

Abstract

Potensi perikanan di Kabupaten Pangandaran cukup besar, terdiri dari ikan pelagis besar, ikan pelagis kecil, ikan demersal dan krustasea, namun belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek biologi panulirus homarus yaitu komposisi spesies, rasio jenis kelamin, frekuensi sebaran panjang karapas, dan hubungan panjang dan berat yang ditangkap di perairan Pangandaran. Informasi mengenai aspek biologi lobster penting dilakukan agar stok lobster di alam dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Sampel Panulirus homarus diperoleh dari pengepul lokal di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan Cikidang, Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Bojongsalawe, dan Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Madasari pada bulan Oktober sampai November 2021. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan software Microsoft Excel dan ELEFAN I pada program FiSAT II untuk mengetahui persamaan pertumbuhan lobster. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat enam jenis lobster yang ditangkap di Pangandaran, yaitu panulirus homarus, panulirus ornatus, panulirus penicillatus, panulirus versicolor, panulirus longipes, dan panulirus polyphaus. Jenis kelamin lobster pasir jantan sebanyak 327 (47%), sedangkan jenis kelamin lobster pasir betina sebanyak 366 (53%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze legal protection and investment risks in Sharia Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) using the perspective of maslahah mursalah as the basis for assessment. The methodology employed is qualitative library research with a normative legal study approach, utilizing primary sources in the form of legislation, DSN-MUI fatwas, and OJK regulations, as well as secondary sources in the form of relevant academic journals and books published within the last ten years. The findings indicate that legal protection for investors in Sharia SCF already has a normative foundation through OJK Regulation No. 57/POJK.04/2020 and DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 140/DSN-MUI/VII/2021, but its implementation still faces challenges in terms of supervision, information transparency, and the effectiveness of dispute resolution mechanisms. The maslahah mursalah analysis affirms that Sharia SCF is permissible as long as it upholds the principles of justice, trustworthiness, and benefit, thereby necessitating strengthened regulations and oversight to optimally achieve the goal of investor protection.

Abstract

Abstract: Feature selection is a crucial process that is very important to improve the performance of machine learning models, in accordance with data preprocessing. The feature selection process can be considered as a global combinatorial optimization problem in machine learning, which reduces the number of features, eliminates irrelevant data, and produces acceptable classification accuracy. The purpose of this study is to predict or determine the results of the electrical installation operation feasibility test based on data and obtain attribute selection features, and obtain accuracy level results. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) approach is used to select the right characteristics to determine the results of the electrical installation operation feasibility test because attribute selection is needed in data analysis, because the PSO method will increase accuracy than just SVM in determining attribute selection. If SVM is used with PSO, the accuracy value is 96% and AUC is 0.994%, while the SVM method produces an accuracy level of 94.89% and AUC of 0.994%. With this finding, the accuracy value increases by 2%, making it a very good categorization category. It has been proven that the use of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) based algorithms can improve and improve results.            Keywords: PSO; SVM; Certification Abstrak: Pemilihan fitur merupakan proses krusial yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja model machine learning, sesuai dengan praproses data. Proses pemilihan fitur dapat dianggap sebagai masalah optimasi kombinatorial global dalam pembelajaran mesin, yang mengurangi jumlah fitur, menghilangkan data yang tidak relevan, dan menghasilkan akurasi klasifikasi yang dapat diterima. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi atau menentukan hasil uji kelayakan operasi instalasi listrik berdasarkan data dan memperoleh fitur pemilihan atribut, serta memperoleh hasil tingkat akurasi. Pendekatan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) digunakan untuk memilih karakteristik yang tepat untuk menentukan hasil uji kelayakan operasi instalasi listrik karena pemilihan atribut diperlukan dalam analisis data, karena metode PSO akan meningkatkan akurasi dari pada hanya SVM dalam menentukan pemilihan atribut. Jika SVM digunakan dengan PSO, nilai akurasinya adalah 96% dan AUC sebesar 0,994%, sedangkan metode SVM menghasilkan tingkat akurasi sebesar 94,89% dan AUC sebesar 0,994%. Dengan temuan ini, nilai akurasi meningkat sebesar 2%, menjadikannya kategori kategorisasi yang sangat baik. Telah terbukti bahwa penggunaan algoritma berbasis Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) dapat meningkatkan dan memperbaiki hasil. Kata kunci: PSO; SVM; Sertifikasi

Abstract

Bug-Bug Village, which is located in Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, has the potential for regional development as an agricultural area, because apart from the agricultural area being 42% of the total village area, it is also recorded that 27.45% of the population works as farmers. As a farmer, the need for subsidized fertilizer is certainly very large. Unfortunately, the government's ability to provide subsidized fertilizer is only 37-42%. By studying these conditions, the ability of farmers to make their own organic fertilizer is really needed. The benefits of organic fertilizer on the health of production results, the health of the surrounding environment and also the health and welfare of farmers, is also the reason that supports the "socialization and practice of making organic fertilizer" program by participants of the Mataram University Real Work Lecture (KKN) in Bug-Bug Village. The result of this activity is that farmers have high enthusiasm for the work program, local Agricultural Field Extension Officers (PPL) give high appreciation for the program and hope for support in the coming period. The Head of Bug-Bug Village also expressed high appreciation and hoped that in the next period of KKN, they would prepare a packaging and marketing program for fertilizer products

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek tentang pencemaran dalam meningkatan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah weak experiment dengan desain penelitian The One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Madrasah Aliyah AL IRFAN Tanjungsari Sumedang. Sampel penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X- Mia Madrasah Aliyah AL IRFAN Tanjungsari Sumedang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan instrument tes berupa soal pilihan ganda dan uraian. Tes terdiri dari tes pemahaman konsep, tes kemampuan berfikir kreatif, dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pretest dapat disimpukan bahwa 1) kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa baru mencapai 68,85% (Tinggi) ; 2) kemampuan berfikir kreatif siswa baru mencapai 62,5 % (Tinggi) ; 3) kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa mencapai 40% (rendah) ; 4) pembelajaran tertentu harus diterapkan agar dapat meningkakan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Appropriate Technology (AT) is designed to substitute manual work and to increase productivity for small-medium businesses. Due to its low-cost technology that affects its design quality, the acceptance of AT appears to be low. A guideline has yet to be available to determine AT's design quality. The purpose of this study was to explore the efficacy of physiological measures collected from a Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) in differentiating mental workload in using AT. If applicable, these measures can provide objective data for AT evaluation. Several parameters were collected from HRM, including frequency domain and time domain. Two ATs were used for evaluation that represented “good” and “poor” agricultural processing machines. Eleven participants were involved in this study in which they used both ATs. The result of this studyis the ratio of Low Frequency and High Frequency (LF/HF) parameter detects differences perceived by the participants. The increase in the LF/HF value from the Commercial Extruder to the Customized Extruder is directly proportional to the increase in mental workload, where the Commercial Extruder is defined as a “good” AT design, and the Customized Extruder as a “poor” AT design. Therefore, it can be concluded that designs with specific guidelines can reduce the mental workload perceived by operators.

Abstract

This study underscores the significance of E-books centered on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) for junior high school students, highlighting the value of interactive and multidirectional learning resources to foster sustainability awareness. The research objectives are to (1) find out the necessity of ESD-based E-books for enhancing sustainability awareness among students, 2) to prove the advantages and disadvantages of ESD-based learning compared to traditional learning, and (3) compare ESD-based learning with traditional methods. Using interviews, and literature study, the study finds traditional printed science textbooks insufficient in engaging students, often reducing their enthusiasm for learning. Interviews reveal that conventional textbooks are the primary learning medium, but students find them uninspiring. E-books, however, show promise in boosting student engagement through features like accessibility, searchability, and interactivity. Challenges exist in integrating ESD into the curriculum, primarily due to educators' limited understanding of sustainability concepts. Nonetheless, ESD-based E-books are seen as effective tools for developing a sustainable culture and enhancing students' awareness of sustainability issues. The literature study indicates a clear need for ESD-based E-books for students, emphasizing their role in preparing the next generation for sustainable development. The study recommends rigorous testing and comparative analysis of STEM-ESD E-books versus traditional resources to evaluate their effectiveness in raising sustainability awareness among junior high school students. The ultimate aim is to promote self-directed learning and greater awareness of sustainability.

Abstract

Education in the era of digital technology has become a challenge for teachers and lecturers in how this technology can develop comprehensive knowledge and global insight. The purpose of this study is to improve learning achievement through the cognitive process of students in cell metabolism lectures using Interactive Digital Teaching Material (IDTM). The study involved 40 Biology Education students who were taking the third semester at one of the Private Universities in Bandung, West Java. The implementation of lectures and instruments to measure students' cognitive processes is based on the framework of the 1992 Marzano Learning Dimension. The results of the analysis showed that the N-gain value of Acquire and Integrate Knowledge and Extend and Refine Knowledge obtained a percentage of (28%-26%) on low criteria. While Using knowledge with a percentage of N-gain value (32%) on medium criteria. These results illustrate that IDTM facilitates students to train their cognitive processes toward better learning achievement

Abstract

This research aimed to assess the suitability of the developed Audio-Visual Media and its effectiveness in reducing student misconceptions. The research follows the R&D (Research and Development) approach, specifically utilizing the ADDIE development model developed by Branch. The research participants comprised 17 9th-grade students from SMP Swasta Hang Tuah 2 Medan. The research procedures included a pre-survey, instrument creation, survey and observation, and validation. The results of the developed media showed that the first indicator, related to the response to material presentation, fell within the "good" category, with a percentage of 80.20%. The second indicator, which assessed the attractiveness of Sparkol VideoScribe's video display, was categorized as "very good," with the highest percentage recorded at 84.25%. Similarly, the response to convenience, representing the third indicator, was considered "good" with a percentage of 80.81%. The fourth indicator was also classified as "good," with a percentage of 79.40%. Based on the data analysis, the developed media is deemed feasible and can be utilized effectively in science learning.
