Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the level of a person's feelings after comparing the benefits of the product that customers feel with their expectations. To create customer satisfaction, a company must be able to meet the needs and desires of customers related to the product, services, and purchases.  Perception of customer orientation and quality of service to customers are important for creating customer satisfaction. Customer orientation is a business culture where the organization is committed to be creative in creating superior value for customers sustainably, while the quality of service will help customers solve their problems in meeting their needs and expectations for the products needed. This study aims to determine (1) whether customer orientation has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, (2) whether service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, and (3) whether customer orientation and service quality together have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at Matahari Department Store in Manado Town Square. Keywords: customer orientation, perception, service quality, customer satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: Creating an attachment between brand and consumer represents a key of success for a company for many years to come. Consumers intend to buy a product that describes their self-image in a way that they want to be seen by others. The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of brand personality and self-image congruence on student’s brand attachment of Apple products, as for now Apple products are known to have great quality of products on their field which differentiate the product with other type of products. The population of this research is the student of Sam Ratulangi University and the quantitative method is used in this research. In order to collect the data, questionnaires were distributed to 100 Sam Ratulangi University students. The result of this research shows that brand personality has positive relationship toward brand attachment with significant influence, and self-image congruence also has positive relationship toward brand attachment with significant influence. It is recommended for the marketers to utilize on both variables in order to increase the tendencies of people in buying the product. Keywords: brand personality, self-image congruence, brand attachment

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of employee perception and organizational culture on organizational change at PT. Honda Martadinata 2, Manado. Employee perception is one of the factors that have big impact on the process of successfully implemented change, it supports by giving each of employees an individual's view to get variance strategy from the different employees on facing organizational change. Therewith, organizational culture guides the process of change, by ensuring the leader and employees have a positive relation to making the process be effective and efficient. Organizational culture becomes the foundation to support organizational change. The data of this research was collected through an online survey questionnaire using slovin sampling technique of 63 employees of PT. Honda Martadinata 2, Manado. The findings may be useful for the organization to understand better about how the organizational change to be successful and reduce the negative reaction towards the change process on the organization.Keywords: Employee Perception, Organizational Culture, Organizational Change

Abstract

Abstract: The Role of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the economy of Indonesia is very significant. It is obvious in Indonesian economy development, this sector carries a big role in the economic growth and national GDP, creating job employment, also play a powerful role during the economic crisis. The role of SMEs in the last few decades is considered strategic, but its performance is not considered maximal in the face of competition and growth of production as a whole in a country. To analyze the Role of Entrepreneurial Characteristic on Networking toward SME’s in Manado. This research is a qualitative research methodology which is descriptive research. Qualitative research usually does use some form of quantification, but statistical forms of analysis are not seen as central. The population of this research is the owners of SME’s in Manado. Based on the result and analysis, the conclusion given in this research is as follows are most of the respondents share with their closest friends to get feedback for their business most of the respondent uses those feedback as a way to improve their business in many aspects.  Keywords: entrepreneurial characteristic, entrepreneurial networking

Abstract

In this study, the researcher will examine the snacks as well as a place to gather with friends, especially types of snacks, donuts. Manado has 3 donut shops namely Dolphin Donuts, Dunkin Donuts Mantos, and J.Co Megamall. There are many factors or criteria that influence the consumer to go to a donut shop. The method used in this research is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP is a method for ranking decision alternatives and selecting the best one given multiple criteria. Based on six criteria (cleanliness, food quality, price, physical environment, service quality, and location), there are the top three criteria that have the most influence on a consumer of a donut shop in Manado city which is cleanliness, food quality, and physical environment. Every donut shop in Manado needs to pay attention seriously to these three factors. Based on the overall result, shows that J.Co Megamall becomes the most preferred donut shop in Manado City. Dolphin Donuts has the lowest score. Dolphin Donuts should improve the cleanliness, food quality, and physical environment of the restaurant, make the customers feel comfortable when they gathering with family or friends. Keywords: consumer preferences, analytical hierarchy process

Abstract

Baby boomers (also known as boomers) are the demographic cohort following the Silent Generation and preceding Generation X. There are varying timelines defining the start and the end of this cohort; demographers and researchers typically use starting birth years ranging from the early to mid-1940s and ending birth years ranging from 1960 to 1964. As a group, baby boomers were the wealthiest, most active, and most physically fit generation up to the era in which they arrived, and were amongst the first to grow up genuinely expecting the world to improve with time.  In order to achieve the objectives, the researcher got information from 10 informants of baby boomers and this research using a qualitative study which is in-depth interview. This research uses purposive sampling to grab and collect the answer from the informants. Based on the data analysis and discussion, the result of the research is The acceptance of the cashless society for the baby boomers is positive and the cashless payment method is very welcomed by the baby boomers, even there are some difficulty face by the baby boomers but all of them said that cashless payment method is a good payment system to follow the trend.  A baby boomer's reaction towards a cashless payment is good.. They accept and do not mind with cashless payment method.. The recommendation, better to educate the baby boomers about the usage of cashless payment methods, so the baby boomers so that they are more familiar with cashless payment. Keywords: Baby Boomers, Cashless Payment

Abstract

Abstract: Gamification is the application of game features, mainly video game elements, into non-game context for the purpose of promoting motivation and engagement in non-gaming situation. With gamification, game creators and game developers can shape user behaviour of gamers that they become addicted. This study investigates gamification and user behaviour on PUBG mobile game (PUBG gamers) in Manado. The research method is qualitative analysis with interview technique. The sample size is 15 respondent using purposive sampling technique. The results show that most gamers are between 16-32 years old because almost all the games have a high level of difficulty which is so challenging and hard indeed for people below 16 and above 32 years old and PUBG game has various techniques of gamification that influence how the gamers want to keep playing. Abstract

As more consumptive and varied behavior of customers in Indonesia and supported with a large population, with cigarette consumption that is high, it is becoming a risk to the country in order to reduce the consumption of cigarettes has a negative impact on health, vape (non-electric) appears and become a suitable alternative to become a substitute product. In the study, the writer only focused on JB vape store because this store is quite popular so it has lots of customers. Realizing that today JB vape had been known by many and having plenty of customers, the level of competition is higher in this line of business. In order to survive in the midst of vape store competition, JB vape must create a consumer-oriented marketing strategy. Several factors that affect customer satisfaction are Product Quality and Service Quality. The results of research conducted through multiple linear regression analysis showed that of the two independent variables product quality and service quality obtained significant results. These results can be caused by consumers assessing the products offered must have a good standard and also for service must be able to compensate for customer standards where the level of consumer satisfaction can make the image of Jb vape store can be considered good. Keywords: Product Quality, Service Quality, Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

The competition in the footwear industry as explained earlier shows that this is quite tight due to the number of imported shoe products entering the market, especially China which offers cheaper products. The purpose of this research is to find out the importance and performance of sport shoes attributes. The research sample was 100 users who wear the Adidas Sport Shoes in Manado. The result shows that Convenience, Quality, Durability, Appropriateness, Good fit, and Attractiveness are very importance to consumer compare to others indicators. The followed by Fashion which is relatively importance to consumer, afterwards Easy of Care, Style, Color, price, and the last one Brand Name has the low level of importance in customers mind based on the data plotting. While in term of performance, Quality, Durability, Appropriateness, Good fit, and Attractiveness has a high level of performance compared to the 76 other attributes. They should consider which attributes need to be developed based on the result in quadrant so the consumer will satisfied with the product. Keyword: product attributes, importance and performance analysis

Abstract

Resort and Hotel is biggest tourism industry business in Manado. Resort and Hotel as a whole is always evolving because of the trends within this industry. Industry In the current situation. This business needs to do well and take advantage of the very rapid developments in the world. Not only do they have to compete with each other but they also have to survive in order to keep their business on the never ending trend and technological developments that occur in the world, especially in Manado. This research aims to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of where these determinants influence the development of a resort, whether a major impact on human lifestyle such as attitude or not. This research uses qualitative methods and multiple linear regression analysis as a tool to analyze the data that has been collected. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely Trend and Technology, simultaneously influence a resort. There are several solutions offered to these problems such as business incubators and the use of technology such as internet platforms and e-commerce from leading companies can be one of the main ways for a business to survive. Keyword: trend, technological, development
