Abstract

Abstract: Quality of Work Life are the important thing when employee achieve the main goals, with support by good human resource management employees reach the purpose of the organization to create a great commitment. Therefore, good quality of work life create a high organizational commitment. This research aimed to analyze simultaneously and partially effect of quality of work life (fair and adequate payment, safe and healthy workplace, growth and security, development of human capabilities, social integration) on organizational commitment at PT. Bank BRI Branch Manado. Multiple regression analysis and quantitative method are used to this research. Respondent consists of 50 employees of PT. Bank BRI Branch Manado through questionnaire. The result data processed using SPSS 20 and result showed that quality of work life (fair and adequate payment, safe and healthy workplace, growth and security, development of human capabilities, social integration) has a significant influence to organizational commitment simultaneously. Partially growth and security, development of human capabilities are significant influence organizational commitment. PT. Bank BRI Branch must maintain the strategic programs to improve the quality of human resources working life in organizations. Keywords : quality of work life, organizational commitment

Abstract

Abstract: Subsidized houses is a program of Indonesian government that is designated specifically for low-income people. In making a purchase decision there will certainly be many factors such as, someone's motives in buying something for this case is buying a house. Buying motives are divided into two main classifications: the rational motive and emotional motive. This study aims to find out the influence of rational buying motives and emotional buying motives on consumer purchase decisions that buying a subsidized house provided by real estate developer PT Bangun Minanga Lestari. This type of research use multiple linear regression test with 65 respondents who have bought and owned a subsidized house of PT Bangun Minanga Lestari. Findings of the research show that all the attributes of consumer buying influence influence the purchase decision of subsidized houses simultaneously. Meanwhile partially, rational buying motives have an influence on purchasing subsidized houses and emotional buying motives does not have an influence on purchasing subsidized houses. Customers feels that the price, ease, their benefits and reliability are the important things in order to buying a new house. Government should more concern about the customer’s rational buyig motivesin order to encourage customer purchae decision.Keywords: consumer buying motives, rational buying motives, emotional buying motives, subsidized houses

Abstract

Manager plays an important role in achieving the goal of an organization. The success can not be separated from active role of a leader in improving human resources performance. Therefore, one of the way for the employees to be more professional and more optimal to do the job is to provide role model to educate and train. The active role of a leader is also necessary to give guidance and direction to employees as well as to supervise their work so that organizational goals can be achieved effectively. The purpose of this study is to determine how the manager's role in improving the performance of employees in reaching the organizational goal and to determine the performance of employees in the company, according to Mintzberg’s Managerial Role, study case in “Serbu” Retail Shop Tomohon. The populations observed in this study are the manager and the employees who have been working along with the manager in a period of time as many as 11 respondents. The results based on data collection method processed using the In-Depth Interview. There are three main roles that the manager should play according to Mintzberg which are (1) Interpersonal Role, (2) Informational Role, and (3) Decisional Role. Abstract

Abstract: Satisfaction may be defined as a condition when the customers perceive the results from the evaluation of the whole aspects of building a relationship. Perceived quality was defined as consumers? judgment about products? excellence or superiority. Perceived value represents a trade-off between quality or benefit they perceived from the product and the sacrifice they perceive by paying the price. In this globalization era when fashion is important it makes human also like to be what they want to be, especially about hairstyle. Hair is crown for the people head that?s why barbershop offer today's progressive gentlemen a haven where he can sit back, relax and experience the "World Class" art of grooming and services in a gentleman's club atmosphere, which is masculine and therapeutic. The aim for this study is to analysis of perceived quality and perceived value using IPA analysis at Vonnette Barbershop, Manado. The population of this research is customer ever can feel the service by Vonnette Barbershop in Manado. The sample of this research using random sampling with 100 people who experience the services by Vonnette Barbershop, Manado. Abstract

In 2017 from the report of Asosiasi Penyelenggara Jasa Internet Indonesia, More than 50 percent or around 143 million people have been connected to the internet throughout that year. That way, almost the entire life of the Indonesian people is inseparable from the internet, internet is widely used by Indonesian People for various purposes including shopping, with many choices of online shopping marketplaces available today, online shopping marketplace is a way of buying and selling without face-to-face and separated in distance. This research is using qualitative research method that explores the theories from several journals, articles, books, and previous research. This research using qualitative method to examine the Consumer Attitude and Consumer Trust in the Online Shopping Marketplace. This research uses in-depth interview to collect data from ten informants. Informant were chosen by purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate that the attitudes held by consumers is a good attitude but consumers have not given full trust to the Online Shopping Marketplace.Keywords: Consumer Attitude, Consumer Trust.

Abstract

Abstract: Technology is affecting the life of every individual both qualitatively and quantitatively in the present age. The quick expansion of information technology has imbibed into the lives of millions of people and introduced major changes in the worldwide economic and business atmosphere. This research aims to analyze the customer experience and customer satisfaction of Go-Jek application in Manado. Technology is utilized by one of the online transportation companies in Indonesia, namely PT.Go-Jek Indonesia.With the existence of PT.Go-Jek Indonesia, create a new digital era in the Indonesia market, especially in technology services. People now have so many services that can be order through the Go-Jek application-based information technology in a smartphone. PT.Go-Jek Indonesia provide something thats really needed in the society.In the Go-Jek application there is available a variety of service to offer for consumers and several feature that’s already available in Manado that is to order food (Go-Food), transportation (Go-Ride for motorcycle and Go-Car for car), send goods or things (Go-Send), cashless transaction system (Go-Pay), buy in a particular shop (Go-Mart). The type of this research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is snowball sampling that get 12 respondents who fulfill the requirement to be interviewed.Keywords: information technology, customer experience, customer satisfaction, go-jek.

Abstract

Customer relationship management is the one influencing customer loyalty, but to get customer loyalty we should know how to make customer satisfaction. This research is purposed to analyze the impact of customer relationship management to customer loyalty through customer satisfaction in Cabal Dining Manado. This research used the Path analysis as the method of this research. Population in this research is mainly in this research is people in Manado. The sample of this research is 100 respondents of random sampling. The interpretation shows that every variable have strong relationship and are supported by significance level. Customers Relationship Management has a significant relationship with customer satisfaction so does customer satisfaction has a significant relationship with customer loyalty. Based on the result done, variable customer relationship management has a significant value to the customer satisfaction variable. Which means Cabal Dining should really pay more attention about how they built a relationship with their customers. Customer satisfaction is important in determine customer loyalty. By feeling satisfy there is a possibility that people would come again to the places that give them the experience they looking for. Abstract

The number of coffee shops in the city of Manado, which grows mainly in 2005, provides an opportunity for marketers competing for consumers. Many companies start doing café business in 2011, but the every business have competitor as always such as the franchise coffee shops, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and the local coffee.This research aims to analyzing the factor that trigger consumers hedonic motivation in choosing local coffee shops and franchised coffee shops in manado, With 100 Respondent. And the Factor Analysis method is used in this research. There are three most dominant factors out of twenty factors (Cleanless Appealing Aroma Adequate Lighting Comfortable Furniture View to Outside Brand and Product of Origin Service Staff Behavior Wi-fi Connection Promotion Trust And Respect Lifestyle Opportunity to Linger Menu Variety Taste and Ingredients Appealing Music) and three highest factors that have big impact on consumers hedonic motivation in choosing local coffee shops and franchised coffee shops in Manado, which are Price, Appealing Decor, and Appearence and Presentation, Based on communality test, the highest value is Price, followed by Appealing decor, and Appearence and Presentation.Keywords: Marketing, Consumers Behavior, Consumer Hedonic Motivation, Consumer Purchase Decisions, Coffee Shops

Abstract

Abstract: Good academic development not only affects study results but also affect a person’s future. Some of the factors that affect academic development including self-efficacy and self-esteem. This study aims to analyze the existence of the influence of self-efficacy and self-esteem on student academic performance in Manado. This research uses quantitative methods. The data of this study were obtained from questionnaire, the respondents are IBA student batch 2015 Faculty Economics and Business University of Sam-Ratulangi with 63 samples. The statistical analysis used was multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 25. The findings indicates that the variables of self-efficacy and self-esteem simultaneously has significant effect on student academic performance of IBA students with F test significance 0.035 < 0.05. The variables of self-efficacy and self-esteem have partial significant effect on student academic performance with T test of self-efficacy significance 0.038 < 0.05, self-esteem 0.044 < 0.5. The most dominant variable affecting student academic performance is self-efficacy. Based on the results the researcher concluded that self-efficacy and self-esteem has a significant and positive effect on student academic performance. It’s recommended for IBA students reconsidering of this result to increase the self-efficacy and to improve self-esteem so that academic performance can increase.Keywords: student academic performance, self-efficacy, self-esteem.

Abstract

Abstract : In every company there will always be employees who run the company, therefore companies are trying to retain employees to stay in a longer period of time. The aim of this research is to identify the determinants of employee retention at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado. This research is quantitative type of research which uses primary data obtained through questionnaire and uses Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) as the analytical tool. The population of this research are 145 employees where the sample size is taken from 100 employees. There are 20 variables that defined as factors that influence employee retention at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado. The analysis and discussion from this research there are 16 variables that correlated with the factor that already conducted. The findings from the factor analysis process there are 4 factors that influence employee retention at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado. First factor is Employee Performance with seven independent variables. Second factor is Employee Engagement with three independent variables. Third Factor is Employee Productivity with four independent variables. And fourth factor is Motivation with two independent variables. The result shows that Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado needs to maintain and improve those four important factors to reach employee retention. Keywords : employee retention, confirmatory factor analysis.
