Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup melalui model pembelajaran learning cycle. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas VIIF SMPN 13 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2010/2011 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 40 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Data  penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar dan tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh persentase siswa yang termotivasi sebesar 72,5% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 95%. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 70% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 90%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran learning cycle dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, learning cycle. Abstract: The research was "classroom action research" with aim in increasing student's motivation and learning outcome on living creatures classification through learning cycle. This research was conducted in class VIIF of SMPN 13 Pontianak in academic year 2010/2011 as the total 40 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data were collected by using learning motivation questionnaire and objective test in the form of multiple choice. The research resulted in showing of cycle 1 was 72,5% students motivation increased and 95% on the second cycle. The percentage of students completeness in cycle 1 was 70% increased to 90% in second cycle. It could be concluded that the learning cycle model application can increase student's motivation and learning outcome. Keywords: learning motivation, learning outcome, learning cycle

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) berbantuan flashcard terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada sub materi invertebrata kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah quasy experimental design dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu kelas XG sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XF sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen adalah 16,38, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah 14,88. Hasil analisis uji U Mann-Whitney diperoleh Zhitung<Ztabel yaitu -2,52˂-1,96, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS berbantuan flashcard dengan yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional berbantuan powerpoint. Nilai Effect Size diperoleh sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori sedang, memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04%. Kata kunci: Model kooperatif tipe TSTS, hasil belajar, sub materi invertebrata Abstract: This research aims to find out the effect of two stay two stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model assisted a flashcard on the students’ learning outcomes in sub-material of Invertebrata in the Tenth Grade of SMAN 1 Sungai Raya. This research was quasy experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Research samples were class X G as the experimental class and X F as the control class, with a sampling technique of intact group. The instrument used was the multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. The average student learning outcome in the experimental class was 16,38, while the control class is 14,88. The results of the U Mann-Whitney test analysis showed that Zcount<-Ztable namely -2,52 ˂-1,96, meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcome of students taught using TSTS cooperative learning model assisted a flashcard and the learning outcomes of students taught using a conventional learning model with a power point presentation. The effect size value obtained was 0,74 with falling into the moderate category, having an effect of 27,04%. Keywords: TSTS cooperative learning model, learning outcome, sub-material of invertebrata

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine effectiviness of TPS model accompained by flipbook media to ward study result at material Protista in class X SMA Negeri 1 Sanggau Ledo. The research was a Quasy Experimental with Nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research are XE as experiment class and XB as control class. The instrument been used was multiple choice test that consists of 20 items. Average study result that had been TPS model accompained by flipbook media 15,03 was higher by those using conventional teaching 13,90. The U Mann Whitney test obtained Zcount< -Ztable that is -2,52 < -1,96, meaning that there were significant differences between study result that taught by TPS model accompained by flipbook media and conventional learning. Value of Effect Size obtained 0,48 is medium, meaning the use TPS model accompained by flipbook media effectively improve study result at material protista. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan penuntun praktikum pembuatan salep sebagai media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dari hasil penelitian pengujian ekstrak tangkai daun talas (Colocasia esculenta) sebagai penyembuh luka insisi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Tahap metode ini meliputi analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain penuntun praktikum, validasi penuntun praktikum, dan revisi penuntun praktikum. Analisis validasi penuntun praktikum dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui angket. Hasil validasi penuntun praktikum diperoleh rata-rata nilai 3,53 dengan kategori valid. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun praktikum layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi bioteknologi. Kata kunci: Penuntun praktikum, bioteknologi, penelitian dan pengembangan.   Abstract : This study aims to determine the feasibility of making practical guide as a medium of learning ointment developed from the results of testing extracts taro leaf stalk (Colocasia esculenta) as a healing incision. The method used is a method of research and development (R & D). Stage of this method include the analysis of potential and problems, data collection, the design of practical guidance, validation of practical guidance, and practical guidance revision. Analysis of practical guidance validation is done using descriptive method through a questionnaire. The results of the validation guidance practicum obtained an average value of 3.53 with a valid category. It can be concluded that the practical guidance fit for use in the learning process in biotechnology material. Keywords: Practical guide, biotechnology, research and development.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul metode ilmiah melalui pengujian pemberian tepung kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val.) terhadap performa burung puyuh (Coturnix coturnix japonica) betina. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangan modul metode ilmiah dilakukan melalui tahap analisis potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain modul, validasi modul, dan revisi modul. Analisis validasi modul metode ilmiah dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui angket.  Hasil validasi modul metode ilmiah diperoleh rata-rata nilai 3,40 dengan kategori valid. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul metode ilmiah layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada sub materi metode ilmiah. Kata kunci: modul, metode ilmiah, penelitian dan pengembangan.  Abstract: This study aims to develop a scientific method module of the provision testing of turmeric flour (Curcuma domestica Val.) on performance of female quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica). The method used is the research and development method. Development of scientific method modules is done through analysis phase potential and problems, collecting data, designing module, validating module, and revising the module. Analysis of the scientific method validation module is done using the descriptive method through questionnaires. The results of the scientific method validation module obtained an average value of 3.40 with a valid category. It was concluded that the scientific method module was proper to be used in the learning process at the sub material scientific method. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 2 Siantan. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIII B dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang, 12 laki-laki dan 12 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Dari hasil penelitian, rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus 1 sebesar 76,6 dengan ketuntasan 87,5% dan siklus 2 sebesar 82,41 dengan ketuntasan 100% (KKM 65). Persentase pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus 1 sebesar 100% dan siklus 2 sebesar 100%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sitem peredaran darah manusia.   Kata kunci: Kooperatif tipe STAD, hasil belajar.   Abstract: This study aims to improve  the students’ learning result by using the cooperative model type STAD on the material of  the human blood circulation system in VIII B class of SMP Negeri 2 Siantan. The model of this study was Classroom Action Research. The samples are the students of VIII B class which is consist of 24 students, 12 boys and 12 girls. This study was conducted in two cycles. Based on the result of the study, obtained that the average of the first cycle result was 76,6 with  87,5% of completeness while the second cycle was 82,41 with 100% of completeness (KKM 65). Since percentage of the learning process on the first cyle was 100% and the second cycle was 100%, can be concluded that using the cooperative model of STAD type can improve the students learning result on the material of the human blood circulation system.   Keywords: Cooperative type STAD, learning result.

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to find out the suitability of comic on virus material as teaching media and find out the responses of Class X High School students to comic on virus material. The study is a descriptive study with survey method. The subjects in this study are 101 students of Class X MIA in SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat. The instrument used to measure the suitability of comic is validation sheet, while to measure the students’ responses by using questionnaire. The validity tests are conducted by 7 validators. The aspects that measured for the suitability of comic are including physical,design, colours, material, pictures and writings aspect. While the criterias for students’ responses are response and reaction. In the response criteria it consist of format and relevantion indicators. Reaction criteria consist of interest, satisfaction and confidence indicators. From the result of comic validation it acquired the value of CVR and CVI 0,99 for all the measured aspects, this value shows that comic is suitable to be used as teaching media. The results of questionnaire analysis obtained the mean value of students’ responses is 83,63% with positive response category shows that the students are giving positive responses to comic on virus material.  Keyword: Students’ Responses, Comic, Virus Material

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the feasibility of pocket book as a learning media on submaterial utilization of biodiversity in Indonesia for Xth class high school students. The research method was descriptive with survey form. The pocket book was validated using validation instrument sheet. The pocket book feasibility test was performed by five validators that include an assessment of aspects of formatting, content, language, and attractiveness. From all aspects of the value indication CVR and CVI respective of 0.99. It can be concluded that the pocket book was valid and proper to be used as a media of instruction on submateri utilization of biodiversity of Indonesia Xth class high school students. Keywords: Pocket Book, Feasibility, Submaterial Utilization of Indonesia’s Biodiversity

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat film dokumenter PETI (Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin) yang layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dan untuk melihat respon siswa terhadap film dokumenter tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Kelayakan media dinilai dari aspek format, isi, bahasa, dan kepraktisan. Penilaian kelayakan dilakukan oleh 5 orang validator. Respon siswa meliputi motivasi belajar siswa dan sikap siswa terhadap kepedulian lingkungan setelah menyaksikan film dokumenter PETI. Pengumpulan data respon siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film dokumenter PETI valid, dengan total validasi 3,48. Motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori kuat dengan nilai rata-rata 78,20%, sedangkan sikap siswa terhadap kepedulian lingkungan menunjukkan sangat kuat dengan rata-rata 84,41%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa film dokumenter PETI layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran materi Pencemaran dan Kerusakan Lingkungan. Kata kunci: Film dokumenter, motivasi belajar, sikap siswa terhadap kepedulian lingkungan. Abstract: This research is aimed in making illegal mining (PETI) documentary film which is properly used as teaching media and to gain students' responses toward the documentary film. The research method was descriptive method. The feasibility of the media was seen by the aspects of its form, content, language and practicality. The feasibility of the media was validated by 5 people. Students responses were learning motivation and attitudes to the environmental concerns after watching the PETI documentary film. The data collection of students responses were using questionnaire. The research finding showed that the PETI documentary film was valid with total 3,48%. The students learning motivation was categorized strong with average score was 78,20%, while the students attitude toward environment concerns showed strongest with average score was 84,41%. It could be concluded that PETI documentary film was proper to be used as media of learning for Environmental Pollution and Damage. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap film animasi zat aditif. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan 6 tahap. Tahap 1 potensi dan masalah, tahap 2 pengumpulan data, tahap 3 desain produk, tahap 4 validasi desain, tahap 5 revisi desain dan tahap 6 uji coba produk. Film animasi di uji kelayakannya terlebih dahulu oleh 3 orang ahli media dan 5 orang ahli materi. Respon siswa diambil sebanyak 30 orang siswa kelas VIII yang berasal dari 3 SMP/MTs yang ada di wilayah Pontianak Tenggara menggunakan angket. Angket respon terdiri atas 5 indikator yaitu format, relevansi, perhatian, kepuasan, dan percaya diri. Hasil respon siswa terhadap film animasi adalah sangat positif dengan persentase sebesar 91,9%. Kata kunci : Respon Siswa, Film Animasi, Zat Aditif.  Abstract: This study aims to determine students' response to the animated film additives. Method of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with 6 phases. Phase 1 potentials and problems, phase 2 data collection, phase 3 product designs, phase 4 design validations, phase design revisions, and phase 6 product trials. The animated film in the feasibility test in advance by 3 media experts and 5 material experts. Student response is taken as many as 30 students for 8th grade students of SMP/MTs in Southeast Pontianak region using a questionnaire. Questionnaire responses comprised of five indicators that format, relevance, attention, satisfaction, and confidence. Students' response to the animated film is very positive with a percentage of  91.9%. Keywords: Students' Response, Animated Film, Additives.
