The development of the transportation sector on the West Timor is expected to be a driving machine in supporting other sectors, so that it will have a large multipler impact on the economy at the land borders of the country with Timor Leste. The government needs to make breakthroughs in the development of the transportation sector, because West Timor is experiencing a transportation infrastructure deficit. This is due to the low quality and quantity of transportation infrastructure capable of supporting the regional economy. This study aims to examine the impact backward and forward, as well as the multiplier impact of development on West Timor in 2018. The result of the researched was that the transportation sector in West Timor has a degree of distribution of 1.40. While the degree of sensitivity was 0.486. The multiplier effect on salaries and wages (multiplier income) is 2.069, and the impact on the total value added multiplier is 1.409. The transportation sector needs to be maximized by building intermoda connectivity of the transportation network that is more effective and efficient. It is also necessary to optimize connectivity in integrating the development phases of National, Provincial and District road sections. The network connectivity is expected to be able to encourage the production sector which is able to increase or develop production capacity, thus providing a more optimal multiplier impact in the future.

Community development (comdev) is a form of corporate social responsibility program to increase community welfare. On the other side, comdev also aims to minimize the impact arising from mining activities. The present study aims to analyze the benefit of comdev and to calculate comdev contribution to increase community welfare. The method used to answer the research are Second Order Confirmatory Factor Analysis (2nd CFA) and Multiple Linier Regression with Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The result show that benefit of comdev was perceived by community in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. Comdev also contributes positively to increase human resource development in Tanah Bumbu, but comdev not enough to compensate for the negative impact of mining especially enviromental issues.

ABSTRACTBogor District as one of large region and large number of population has any problems related to accesibility and equity welfare. Regional proliferation considered as a way to overcome that problems. The study used scoring method based on PP no. 78 2007 with descriptive analysis, location quotient analysis, and Klassen Tiphology. This study was aimed to analyzed feasibility of regional proliferation and to formulate regional development strategy based on economic potentials in eastern Bogor District region. In general the result showed that eastern Bogor District region appropriate to organize as an autonomous region. High economic potential and fiscal cappacity of eastern Bogor region can be made as main factor to recommended eastern Bogor District region as an autonomous region. Thus, the selected strategies are how to develop backward regions base on leading sector, support primary sector development such as agricultural. Goverment policy is important to optimize natural resources management, spread out infrastructure development mainly to support rural area development. The implication of policy directed base on each region characters such as social, culture, spatial, basic sector. Furthermore regional development analysis can be set base on sub-district region.

Paddy land conversion in Sukabumi City is worrying whereas its rate is 6,06 ha annually, while its production is very high that reaches 6.7 ton/ha. The aims of this study are to analyze the total paddy land that had been converted into other uses as well as to formulate strategies to implement this program. The method used are by using overlay land use map year 2010, 2012 and 2015 and combination AHP-SWOT The results show that paddy land that had been converted into other uses as many as 181.94 ha. The main strategies to implement this program are by increasing productivity, developing cooperation between private sector and farmer group, and strengthening its institution.

AbstractTodayâ€™s Javanese society, especially in the socio-religious field, is experiencing quite rapid development. One of the characteristics is that there are several new traditions which are more dominant about Islam. Therefore, the level of curiosity of the Javanese people towards the religious sciences is also increasing. The various traditions that exist among the Javanese are closer to the hearts of the whole community because they are in accordance with the cultural understanding that has existed since ancient times namely the respect / glory to the events of birth, marriage, and death. One tradition that developed in Javanese society is the fida 'tradition. Fida Tradition 'is a tradition which contains a dzikir event together to atone for the sins of people who have died by reciting surah al-ikhlas 100,000 times or tahlil 70,000 times. This situation, raises the writer's curiosity that the fida 'tradition in Javanese society that connects dhohir and ghoib is a part of scientific effort. This research belongs to the category of field research and literature research, where the writer conducts interviews with the kyai and also the writer seeks various references from several books, theses, journals, or documents that have a similar theme to the problem under study. From this research, it can be concluded that the fida 'tradition that exists in Javanese society in the perspective of Islamic law is a suggestion in the Islamic religion and there are a number of corroborating propositions.Keywords: Fida tradition; javanese community; islamic law

Salah satu isu di negara Indonesia adalah keberadaan tradisi keagamaan dianggap sebuah tradisi keberagamaan yang bertentangan dengan hukum Islam dan tidak sesuai dengan sunnah Nabi saw. Isu ini adalah masalah yang serius dan harus dijelaskan melalui dalil-dalil yang sesuai dengan pelaksanaan tradisi yang dilakukan oleh warga Nahdliyyin di Indonesia. Dan harus ditemukan dalil hukmi atas diperbolehkannya melaksanakan tradisi tersebut. Menurut kaum modernisme tradisi-tradisi ini termasuk bid’ah dan harus ditinggalkan oleh masyarakat. Sebagai organisasi kemasyarakatan dan keagamaan, Nahdlatul Ulama haruslah mempunyai tendensi atas pelaksanaan tradisinya dalam Al-Qur’an dan as-sunnah. Melalui artikel ini penulis mengulas bagaimana perspektif hukum Islam tentang pelaksanaan tradisi-tradisi keagamaan warga Nahdliyyin dan beberapa contoh tradisi keagamaan yang sering dilakukan warga Nahdliyyin.

Community-based forest management (CBFM) was aimed to achieve the sustainability of forest functions and to omptimize its benefits. CBFM around the Forest Lap Area in North Bandung is a joint forest management between Perum Perhutani and forest villagers. The purposes of this study were; (1) to analyse the processes and stakeholders of CBFM, (2) to analyse the institution effectiveness of CBFM, (3) to analyse the result of the CBFM implementation The approach of this research was the stakeholder analysis and IPA (importance of Performance Analysis). The result of stakeholder mapping showed that Perum Perhutani and LMDH had the role in the implementation of CBFM system. The results of the economic impact of CBFM calculations indicated that the system could increase the income of MDH. This was indicated by the change in the average income of farmers by 63%. The result of IPA could be seen from the mapping of availability level of forest resources and forest resource need for the community included in B quadran in which it had a high level of availability and interest.

Gold mining carried out in the Buru Regency, “Gunung Botak”, has been held since 2012. The mining regulations are governed by local governments. The aims of this research were: 1) to identify and estimate the cost of gold mining transactions, 2) to identify and estimate WTP WTP transaction costs and improve the quality of the environment, and 3) to know the public perception about the existence of the mine. 4) to identify the value of externalities of gold mining activities.of illegal gold mining activities The methods analysis used was statistical analysis approach, the analysis of changes in the analysis of willingness to pay (WTP) with CVM models, multiple regression analysis of linear logistic and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were: 1) The entry fee to the mining was set by the local government in Kayeli plains known by the King (the head of Kayeli village). The entry fee for the male miners was Rp.750.000/ person per-three months, whereas it was Rp.500.000/ person per three months for women miners. 2) The desire to pay for the improvement of environmental quality was RP.430.000/ person/ month. 3) The public perception of the existence of gold mining was that 20 respondents chose the mining to close and 24 respondents chose the mining to open, 4) the value of exstenalities taken from gold mining activities was IDR.131.803.251.922.

Toisapu Village Landfills in Ambon has been established since 2003 using open dumping system in processing the waste. These activity has caused negative externalities for the people living around the landfill. This paper aimed to analyze the factors that affected people's willingness to pay a higher levy for better waste management, the amount of the retribution to pay, and the closure of the operational costs through the analysis of willingness to pay (WTP) with four scenarios offered in the Baguala and Nusaniwe Regencies. The results showed that the factors affecting people's willingness to pay a higher retribution in the Baguala and Nusaniwe regencies were the level of education and the distance between their home and landfill. The highest average of WTP in Baguala regency of biogas scenario was Rp 24.250/ KK/ month, and the lowest in the incineration scenario was Rp 20 804/ KK /month. While in the Nusaniwe regency, the highest average of WTP obtained was Rp 21 228/ KK/ month in composting scenario, and the lowest was of Rp 18 220/ KK/ month in sanitary landfill scenario. The value of society WTP obtained was the value of retribution to pay, and this value could cover the operational costs required to implement the four scenarios of waste management offered.

ABSTRACT Background: Teeth and mouth disease is ranked first out of ten most common diseases in Indonesia. It is portrayed in the community’s high caries index. Dental plaque is one of the dominant factors in caries formation. Preventing dental plaque can be carried out using a various numbers of efforts, one of them is dental health counseling. Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of Irene’s Donut, conventional and video counseling methods on TK Pertiwi Banjarmasin children’s plaque index change. Methods: This study was quasi experimental with pre and post-test group design using purposive sampling which determined total samples of 45 subjects, divided into 3 treatment groups: Irene’s Donut method group, conventional method group and video method group. Index plaque calculation was performed using PHP-M (Personal Hygiene Performance-Modified) method. Result: This study result presented mean percentage of plaque index decreased before and after Irene’s Donut method as 82,79%, conventional method as 70,34%, and video method as 79,89%. T-test analysis of plaque index before and after counseling presented p value = 0,000 (p < 0,05) in each treatment group. One Way ANOVA test showed p value = 0,018 (p < 0,05) which indicated there was a significant difference among treatment groups. Conclusion: In conclusion, Irene’s Donut and video counseling methods was more effective in decreasing plaque index compared to conventional method. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Penyakit gigi dan mulut menduduki urutan pertama dari daftar 10 besar penyakit yang sering dikeluhan oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini terlihat dari besarnya angka karies gigi di masyarakat. Plak gigi merupakan salah satu faktor dominan dalam perkembangan karies. Pencegahan pembentukan plak dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai upaya, salah satunya dengan melakukan penyuluhan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penyuluhan metode Irene’s Donut, konvensional, dan video terhadap perubahan indeks plak pada anak di TK Pertiwi Banjarmasin. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experiment dengan pre and post-test group design menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 45 orang dan terdiri dari 3 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu perlakuan penyuluhan metode Irene’s Donut, perlakuan penyuluhan metode konvensional, dan perlakuan penyuluhan metode video. Perhitungan indeks plak dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode PHP-M (Personal Hygiene Performance- Modified). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase rata-rata penurunan indeks plak sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan metode Irene’s Donut sebesar 82,79%, metode konvensional sebesar 70,34%, dan metode video sebesar 79,89%. Hasil analisis uji T terhadap indeks plak sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05) pada masing-masing kelompok perlakuan. Uji statistik One Way ANOVA menunjukkan hasil p = 0,018 (p < 0,05) bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna antar kelompok perlakuan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa metode Irene’s Donut dan video lebih efektif dalam menurunkan indeks plak dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional.
