Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance in culinary MSMEs with the business environment as a mediating variable. The research method that will be used in this research is a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. Data processing in this research uses smartPLS SEM (Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling) software. PLS has the ability to explain the relationship between variables and the ability to carry out analyzes in one test. Hypothesis testing can be seen from the t-statistic value and probability value. Research results the results of testing the first hypothesis are accepted that the Business Environment (Z) influences MSME Business Performance (Y). The results of testing the second hypothesis are accepted that Entrepreneurial Orientation (X) influences MSME Business Performance (Y). The results of testing the third hypothesis are accepted that Entrepreneurial Orientation (X) influences the Business Environment (Z).The results of testing the fourth hypothesis were accepted. Entrepreneurial Orientation (X) has a significant effect on MSME Business Performance (Y). via Business Environment (Z).

Abstract

Export value is an important indicator in supporting regional economic growth. However, its movement tends to be volatile and non-linear, making it difficult to forecast using conventional statistical methods such as ARIMA. This study aims to forecast the export value of West Sumatra Province using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) with the Backpropagation algorithm. The data used consist of monthly export values from January 2006 to October 2025 obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) of West Sumatra Province. The data were normalized and modified using the rolling window method, then divided into training and testing datasets. Several network architectures were evaluated through a trial-and-error process with variations in the number of neurons in the hidden layer. The best model was achieved with the BPNN(12,12,1) architecture, yielding a Mean Square Error (MSE) of 0.0236 and a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 25.31%. The results indicate that the model is capable of capturing non-linear patterns and reasonably following the trend of the actual data. The selected model was then used to perform short-term forecasting of export values for the period from November 2025 to March 2026. The findings demonstrate that the Backpropagation Neural Network algorithm is effective for forecasting export values in West Sumatra Province. This study contributes theoretically by enriching the application of artificial intelligence in regional economic forecasting and practically by supporting data-driven policy formulation for export strategies in West Sumatra.

Abstract

BackgroundDespite the growing body of research on leadership styles in educational contexts, limited scholarly attention has been devoted to examining how servant leadership specifically influences academic quality through the mediating role of learning satisfaction in teacher education faculties. PurposeThis study investigates the interplay between servant leadership, learning satisfaction, and academic quality among education students in higher education institutions. Design/method/approachEmploying a qualitative library research design, this study systematically reviews and synthesizes peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, and policy documents published between 2019 and 2025. The research procedure involves comprehensive literature identification, thematic categorization, and iterative data analysis through reduction, classification, comparison, and synthesis. Source triangulation and cross-referencing of theoretical positions ensure the trustworthiness of findings. ResultsThe results reveal three principal themes: servant leadership fosters a supportive academic environment that enhances student engagement and motivation; learning satisfaction serves as a critical mediating mechanism linking leadership practices to academic outcomes; and the synergistic interaction between servant leadership and learning satisfaction produces a compounding positive effect on academic quality. This study proposes an integrative conceptual framework demonstrating the interconnected pathways through which servant leadership and learning satisfaction collectively shape academic quality. Contribution/valueThe findings contribute to educational management theory by addressing the identified research gap and offering practical implications for faculty leaders seeking to enhance academic quality in teacher education programs

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric review of research on school leadership and educational quality in secondary education published between 2020 and 2025. The study aims to map the conceptual relationships among school leadership, teacher performance, and educational quality, as well as to identify emerging research trends in leadership innovation and quality management. Using a systematic literature review guided by the PRISMA protocol, publications were retrieved from Scopus and Google Scholar and analyzed using bibliometric mapping techniques. The results indicate that school leadership functions as a central connecting variable linking teacher performance and educational quality. Two dominant research trajectories were identified: a traditional focus on teacher professionalism and learning outcomes, and a more recent emphasis on leadership innovation, school-based management, and institutional quality strategies. Overall, the findings highlight the strategic role of school principals in fostering a quality-oriented school culture and suggest the need for future research employing longitudinal and mixed-method approaches to deepen understanding of leadership and quality improvement in secondary education.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0, educational data governance demands speed, accuracy, and real-time accessibility. Manual student data management often leads to redundancy, inefficiency, and delays in strategic decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness and impact of transforming student data governance through the implementation of Web-based Management Information Systems (MIS). The research method employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA protocol on 32 reputable scientific articles (Scopus and SINTA 1-2) published between 2015 and 2025. The synthesis analysis shows that the transformation to web-based MIS has a significant impact on four main dimensions: (1) Operational efficiency of school administration through automation; (2) Improvement of data validity and integration (interoperability); (3) Support for data-driven decision making for school principals; and (4) Improvement of public services to parents. However, challenges related to cybersecurity and human resource (HR) readiness remain major obstacles. These findings confirm that the digitalization of data governance is not just a change of tools, but an organizational cultural transformation towards an accountable and futuristic school.

Abstract

Teachers’ psychological well being plays an essential role in supporting effective instruction and fostering positive teacher student relationships in elementary schools. However, increasing administrative workloads, emotional demands, and performance expectations pose serious challenges to teachers’ mental health. This study aims to systematically identify the main determinants of elementary school teachers’ psychological well being, examine intervention strategies discussed in recent literature, and map current research trends. A Systematic Literature Review was conducted in accordance with the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Articles were collected using Publish or Perish from the Scopus and Crossref databases, limited to peer reviewed journal publications from 2015 to 2024. Following the screening and eligibility process, 40 articles were selected and analyzed using qualitative thematic synthesis and bibliometric mapping with VOSviewer. The findings show that internal factors such as self efficacy, emotion regulation, resilience, and psychological capital are the most consistent predictors of teachers’ psychological well being. External factors including workload, organizational support, school climate, and leadership practices also play a significant role. Overall, teachers’ psychological well being is shaped by the interaction of individual and organizational factors.

Abstract

This literature-based study describes shifts in character education narratives in Catholic schools from 2010 to 2025 using Lickona’s moral framework of knowing–feeling–action. Within conditions of technological disruption and growing social complexity, Catholic schools are portrayed as institutions facing challenges in sustaining moral and spiritual formation while responding to contemporary demands. The review applies a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design following PRISMA 2020 guidelines, encompassing identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. A total of 43 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science are examined through descriptive and qualitative thematic analysis, with study quality evaluated using the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP). The synthesis indicates a discernible paradigm shift from a mainly cognitive orientation toward moral knowing (2010–2014) to increased attention to moral feeling and moral action (2015–2025). Values such as service, empathy, integrity, solidarity, and love appear as dominant themes. This shift reflects the reorientation of Catholic education from a dogmatic stance toward a reflective and transformative social practice, with important implications for curriculum development and character formation in pluralistic and secular contexts.
