Abstract

Higher education has an important role in developing students' scientific creativity to face the challenges of the 21st century. One approach that has received attention in improving scientific creativity is the scaffolding inquiry model integrated with local wisdom. However, research related to the trend and direction of the development of the scaffolding inquiry model integrated with local wisdom on student scientific creativity is still limited. This study aims to provide a bibliometric review of the research trends of the scaffolding inquiry model integrated with local wisdom on student scientific creativity during the period 2020-2025. Data was obtained through Google Scholar using analysis tools such as Publish or Perish and Dimensions.ai, resulting in 1,000 documents selected based on PRISMA guidelines. Analysis was conducted using bibliometric methods and content analysis, supported by VOSviewer software to visualize keyword trends and research patterns. Research trends showed variations in the number of annual publications, with a significant spike in 2021 and a decline in subsequent years. Bibliometric analysis shows the dominance of publications in the form of books and monographs, highlighting the need for further exploration in this topic. Although the publication trend shows a decline in recent years, the scaffolding inquiry model integrated with local wisdom remains important to enhance students' scientific creativity. The integration of local wisdom in learning can create a more contextualized and innovative learning experience, support the development of scientific creativity skills, and fit the needs of 21st century education. Further research in the future is expected to explore more deeply the potential of technology and local wisdom in enric hing this learning model.

Abstract

Natural Science (IPA) learning in the 21st century requires students to not only understand science concepts, but also to have 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and technological literacy. To answer these challenges, the inquiry learning approach is one of the strategic solutions because it encourages active involvement of students in building knowledge through the scientific process. Inquiry-based learning modules are also rapidly developing as a medium that supports active, contextual, and flexible learning. This research aims to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) on trends and innovations in the development of inquiry-based science modules. The study was conducted using the SLR method based on the PRISMA guidelines, by analyzing 35 articles published between 2015–2025. The results of the study show that Research and Development (R&D) methods, especially the 4D and ADDIE models, are the most widely used approaches. The inquiry model, especially guided inquiry, is the dominant approach that has proven to be effective in improving students' science process skills, literacy, and critical thinking. Various innovations were identified, including the integration of STEM approaches, PjBL, ethnoscience, as well as the development of digital modules such as e-modules and interactive flipbooks. Abstract

Efektivitas penerapan scaffolding dalam pembelajaran inkuiri sangat bergantung pada akurasi diagnosis terhadap kemampuan awal pembelajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis profil Zone ofProximal Development (ZPD) mahasiswa calon guru sebagai tahap diagnostik awal (preliminary research) dalam pengembangan model inkuiri terintegrasi kearifan lokal Sasambo. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 33 mahasiswa calon guru PGSD di Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram. Data dikumpulkan melalui instrumen tes diagnostik berbentuk esai yang dirancang untuk mengukur kesenjangan antara kemampuan aktual dan potensial mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa (84,85%) berada pada kategori ZPD Sedang, sementara 12,12% berada pada kategori Rendah, dan hanya 3,03% pada kategori Tinggi. Dominasi kategori sedang mengindikasikan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan dasar yang memadai namun belum mampu menyelesaikan masalah inkuiri kompleks secara mandiri. Temuan ini menjadi landasan empiris bahwa strategi intervensi yang tepat bukanlah instruksi langsung maupun pelepasan penuh, melainkan adaptive scaffolding berupa pertanyaan arahan (guiding questions) dan pemodelan dengan mekanisme fading bertahap. Selain itu, integrasi kearifan lokal Sasambo (Sasak, Samawa, Mbojo) terkonfirmasi urgensinya sebagai jembatan kognitif (cognitive bridge) untuk menurunkan beban kognitif mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep sains yang abstrak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul IPA terintegrasiSTEM yang layak (valid dan reliabel) untuk penguatan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dan profil pelajar Pancasila dimensi berpikirkritis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah R & D dengan desainpengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap define, design, develop dan disseminate. Pada tahap develop terdiri dari uji validasi dan reliabilitas. Uji validasi dilakukan oleh tiga validator untuk menilai content validity. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket validasi, responGuru, respon peserta didik, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, soalangket SDGs dan soal tes berpikir kritis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan indeks validitas Aiken's V, dan uji reliabilitas Percentage of Agreement. Hasil uji validasi e-modul dan perangkat pembelajaranpada aspek content validity memiliki kategori sangat valid karena indeksvaliditas > 0,8 dan penilaian antar validator dinyatakan reliabel karenapersentase kesepakatan > 75% untuk penguatan SusutainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) dan profil pelajar Pancasila dimensi berpikirkritis. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul IPA terintegrasiSTEM teruji valid dan reliabel untuk penguatan SusutainableDevelopment Goals (SDGs) dan profil pelajar Pancasila dimensi berpikirkritis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe what impacts occur when implementing the Inlislite application system based on a management information system in the library of SMKN 1 Praya Tengah. This study uses a qualitative research design and is analyzed by making rich and thick descriptions. Research at the data collection stage uses a grounded theory approach. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Inlislite has a positive impact, because it can improve library services at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah because librarians process data on borrowing and returning books faster. In addition, there were technical problems in implementing inlislite at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah which resulted in the existing system running slowly. The recommendations for this research are: 1) To separate schools from Inlislite, and add library facilities in the form of the latest generation of computers; 2) Provide regular Inlislite training and guidance to Librarians, so that Librarians are more adept at operating Inlislite.

Abstract

Sasambo Medicinal Oil is a local wisdom–based product from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) that utilizes medicinal plants such as lemongrass, ginger, turmeric, eucalyptus, and various other ethnopharmaceutical species. In the context of phytochemistry learning, the use of this oil serves as a relevant medium for connecting the concept of secondary metabolites with the practical application of natural-product utilization. This study aims to describe the knowledge profile of students regarding Sasambo medicinal oil as a cultural heritage product that possesses significant phytochemical potential and economic value, as well as its contribution to enhancing scientific literacy. Students’ understanding of the components, benefits, and preparation processes of this traditional medicinal oil is essential to develop within chemistry education based on local wisdom. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method using closed-ended questionnaires and interviews as instruments. The research subjects consisted of 52 students from the Chemistry Education Study Program at the University of Mataram. The findings show that 73% of students have general knowledge about Sasambo oil, yet only 38% understand its chemical composition and pharmacological mechanisms. Students’ conceptual and procedural knowledge falls within the moderate category (average score of 65.2%), while the applicative aspect remains low (54.1%). These results indicate the need to strengthen scientific literacy and integrate local wisdom into applied chemistry and phytochemistry learning, thereby improving students’ conceptual understanding and awareness of the scientific and sustainable utilization of natural resources.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan E-Modul IPA terintegrasi STEM sebagai bahan ajar alternatif yang mendukung penguatan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada dimensi berpikir kritis. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Sakra. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket respon guru dan peserta didik untuk menilai kepraktisan produk. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul IPA terintegrasi STEM memenuhi kriteria praktis, dengan rata-rata persentase kepraktisan oleh peserta didik sebesar 80,47% dan oleh guru sebesar 90,10%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul mudah digunakan, menarik, serta mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penguatan SDGs serta keterampilan berpikir kritis. Dengan demikian, E-Modul IPA terintegrasi STEM layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas X SMA untuk menunjang implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka serta penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dimensi berpikir kritis.

Abstract

Numerical literacy, the ability to interpret and apply numerical data, is crucial for success in various fields, including computer science. Traditionally, Pascal programming courses rely on passive learning methods, hindering students' development of numeracy skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of project-based learning (PjBL) in improving numeracy literacy among 46 Physics Education students enrolled in a Pascal programming course at Mataram University in Indonesia. The PjBL approach involved real-world projects requiring students to apply and analyze numerical data within their programming tasks. Findings revealed significant improvements in numeracy literacy, with success rates of 97% for short analysis, 87% for medium analysis, and 46% for long analysis. Overall, the average learning outcome was 84 out of 100, demonstrating the potential of PjBL as an effective learning model for enhancing numeracy skills in programming contexts. Further research is encouraged to refine PjBL implementation models and optimize its impact on numeracy literacy in STEM education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of problem-based learning model with PhET simulation on critical thinking skills on parabolic motion material. This type of research is quasi experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN 6 Mataram. The sample of this study was taken using purposive sampling and selected XI.2 class of 32 people consisting of 14 boys and 18 girls as the experimental class and XI.4 class of 34 people consisting of 16 boys and 18 girls as the control class. The experimental class was treated with problem-based learning model with PhET simulation and the control class was treated with conventional learning. The research instrument in measuring critical thinking skills in the form of a description test of 6 questions. The research hypothesis was tested using the Twin-Sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The Twin Snippet t-test resulted in the tcount of students' critical thinking skills of 4.65 greater than the ttable which is 1.66 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of problem-based learning model with PhET simulation on critical thinking skills on parabolic motion material.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a bibliometric review of research trends on local wisdom-integrated scaffolding inquiry models to improve students' scientific literacy during the period 2014-2024. Data were obtained through Google Scholar using analysis tools such as Publish or Perish and Dimension.ai, resulting in 1,000 documents selected based on PRISMA guidelines. The analysis was carried out using bibliometric and content analysis methods, supported by VOSviewer software to visualize keyword trends and research patterns. The results showed that the publication trend peaked in 2021, reflecting significant interest in this topic. The dominant publication types were chapters and edited books, indicating that this topic is often discussed in comprehensive academic references. Keywords such as local wisdom, scientific literacy, and scientific inquiry indicate the focus of research on the integration of local cultural values ​​with a scientific-based approach. Network visualization and research density underscore the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of local wisdom-based learning in improving students' scientific literacy, problem-solving skills, and scientific understanding. So it can be concluded that the research trend of the local wisdom integrated scaffolding inquiry model has become the main focus in the development of science education that is relevant and contextual to the needs of the 21st century.
