Abstract

Education plays a pivotal role in shaping intellectual and moral character, particularly in addressing the challenges of globalization and technological advancement. In Indonesia, integrating Islamic values and local wisdom into education is essential to nurturing students with strong character and cultural awareness. This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values and local wisdom in science courses at higher education institutions in Lombok, and their influence on character development among prospective educators. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 505 first-semester students through a Likert-scale questionnaire. Statistical analysis revealed high construct validity and reliability, with Composite Reliability values exceeding 0.7 and AVE values above 0.5. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic values and local wisdom significantly influences character development, supported by strong model predictive power (R² = 0.782 for X3; R² = 0.777 for Y). The novelty of this research lies in its interdisciplinary framework that integrates Islamic norms and cultural heritage into science education, challenging traditional views of science as value-neutral. The study recommends systematically incorporating these values into science curricula and conducting longitudinal studies to assess their long-term impact on students’ character formation and academic competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate an ethnoscience-based practicum worksheet supported by virtual simulation tools to enhance culturally contextualized science learning. The integration of ethnoscience into science education responds to the need for pedagogical models that connect scientific concepts with students' local cultural knowledge, particularly in educational institution facing limited access to laboratory resources. Utilizing a research and development approach, the study was conducted through three main phases: preliminary investigation, design and construction, and evaluation and revision. The worksheet was structured to include scientific inquiry stages such as observation, hypothesis formulation, virtual experimentation, data analysis, and reflection. Expert validation was conducted using the Delphi method involving six experts in science education, ethnoscience, and educational technology. A Likert scale (1–5) instrument was used to assess content and construct validity, yielding average scores of 4.738 and 4.792 respectively, with a 95.83% agreement rate, indicating high validity and reliability. Suggestions from validators led to improvements in instructional clarity and contextual integration. The results confirm that the developed worksheet is pedagogically sound, technically feasible, and culturally relevant, aligning with 21st-century learning objectives that emphasize critical thinking, inclusivity, and digital literacy. This research offers a practical model for integrating ethnoscientific content with educational technology and contributes to the ongoing development of innovative, inclusive, and adaptive science education practices in Indonesia. Future applications may extend to diverse local contexts, supporting a more holistic and culturally grounded approach to science instruction.

Abstract

The effect of causalitic learning model on problem solving ability in Physics students. This study aims to find out the effect of causalitic learning model on problem solving ability in Physics students. The type of research used is quasi-experiment with untreated control group design with pretest and posttest. The population is all class X students of SMAN 1 Narmada, amounting to 396 people. Sampling of research using purposive sampling technique, so that selected X MS 1 as the experimental class and X MS 2 as the control class. The experimental class was treated in the form of a causalytic learning model while the control class was treated in the form of a conventional learning model. The research instrument consisted of a test of problem solving ability by considering the validity, reliability, level of difficulty of the questions and the different power of the questions. KPM Posttest data is tested for normality, then proceed with hypothesis testing using t-test. Hypothesis test results of the calculated t value is greater than the table then  is accepted. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics. This type of research was quasi-experiment and used nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA in SMA 1 Narmada academic year 2018/2019. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique and class XI MIPA 3 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 5 as the control class. Learning outcomes data were obtained using multiple choice tests, while creativity data were obtained using essay tests. The research hypothesis was tested using the N-gain test to analyze the increase in learning outcomes and creativity of students per indicator and MANOVA test to test the effect of the application of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics using IBM SPSS 23 software. The results of hypothesis test indicate that 1) N-gain test, improvement in learning outcomes and creativity were included in the medium category 2) MANOVA test, there was an effect of POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model on student’s learning outcomes and creativity of physics. Keywords: POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model; learning outcomes; creativity

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasismasalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang valid, efisien, dan efektifuntuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada materi getaran harmonis Penelitian inimerupakan Jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D. Padatahap Define, merupakan tahap awal untuk mendefinisikan permasalahan Tahap Design,merancang produk perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP, LKPD, instrumen teskemampuan berpikir kritis, dan video pembelajaran. Data kevalidan perangkatpembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil validasi 6 validator yang terdiri dari 3 validator ahli dan3 validator praktisi. Kepraktisan atau keefisienan perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh dariangket respon peserta didik serta lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Peningkatankemampauan berpikir kritis peserta didik dianalisis dengan menentukan standar gain darihasil sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Hasil validasi menunjukkan komponenperangkat pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat valid untuk silabus dan cukup valid untukRPP, LKPD, instrumen tes kemampuan berpikiri kritis, dan video pemebeljaran yangberarti cukup baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Reliabilitas silabus, RPP, LKPD,instrumen tes kemapauan berpikir kritis, dan video pembelajaran diatas 75 %menunjukkan semua komponen yang dinilai berada pada kategori reliabel. Hasil responpeserta didik, serta keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat praktis.Hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai gain sebesar 0,66 yangberada pada kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan perangkatpembelajaran berbasis masalah valid, efisien dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkankemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to develop problem-based learning tools to improve critical thinking skills that are valid, efficient, and effective for use in learning on harmonious vibration material. This research is a type of research and development (R&D) with a 4D model. At the define stage, is the initial stage for defining the problem. The design stage, designing learning device products in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheet, critical thinking skills test instruments, and learning videos. The develop stage is the development of the device from the results of the validity of the learning tools obtained from the validation results of 6 validators consisting of 3 expert validators and 3 on validators. The practicality or efficiency of the learning device is obtained from the responses of students and the learning implementation sheet. Increased critical thinking ability of students to analyze by determining the standard acquisition of the results before and after learning. The results of the validation show that the learning device components are in the very valid category for the syllabus and valid enough for lesson plans, student worksheet, critical instrument test skills, and video learning which means that they are good enough to be used in learning Reliability of the syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheet, critical thinking ability test instruments, and learning videos above 75% show all components that are in the reliable category. The results of student responses, as well as the implementation of learning are in the very practical category. Student learning outcomes have increased with a acquisition value of 0.66 which is in the medium category. Based on these results, it can change valid, efficient and effective problem-based learning tools used to improve students' thinking skills. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPA dengan konteks kearifan lokal untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tinjauan kepustakaan. Konsep yang dianalisis meliputi metode eksperimen, kearifan lokal Gendang Beleq di daerah Lombok, materi IPA tentang bunyi. Integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kearifan lokal berupa Gendang Beleq dapat dihubungkan dengan materi IPA yaitu Bunyi. Penerapan metode eksperimen dengan konteks kearifan lokal tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep IPA tetapi juga dapat melestarikan kearifan lokal daerah setempat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan konteks kearifan lokal pada pembelajaran fisika. LKPD merupakan bahan ajar yang dilengkapi petunjuk kerja yang bisa dilakukan secara mandiri maupun kelompok sehingga siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kearifan lokal merupakan suatu tindakan yang mencakup dari cipta, rasa dan karya masyarakat dalam mengatasi permasalahan setempat. Penggabungan kedua konsep tersebut diharapkan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan belajar siswa secara mandiri dan meningkatkan nilai-nilai luhur. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode Literature Review. Dengan metode tersebut, peneliti selanjutnya merumuskan masalah penelitian yang diselesaikan dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menganalisis beberapa penelitian yang relevan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap artikel ilmiah dalam jurnal, diperoleh informasi bahwa penerapan LKPD dengan konteks kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran fisika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Penggunaan LKPD dengan konteks kearifan lokal dapat menjadi alternatif bagi guru untuk menguatkan pendidikan karakter siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis model project based learning (PjBL) berbantuan alat musik sarone terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis (2) pengaruh model PjBL berbantuan alat musik sarone terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis, (3) pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian nonequivalent pretest-posstest control group design. Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Lembar tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 dengan jumlah 117 peserta didik. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas X1 MIPA 1 sebanyak 30 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol berjumlah 30 peserta didik. Perangkat pembelajaran di validasi terlebih dahulu oleh 3 validator ahli dan 2 validator praktisi. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model PjBL berbantuan alat musik sarone sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model direct instruction. Data diambil menggunakan tes soal uraian untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan angket untuk mengetahui motivasi berprestasi peserta didik. Hasil tes akhir kemampuan berpikir kritis diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 67,2 kategori sedang dan kelas kontrol 59,5 kategori rendah. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan uji ANCOVA satu jalan dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) perangkat pembelajaran layak digunakan, 2) terdapat pengaruh model PjBL berbantuan alat musik sarone terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yaitu 0,002<0,05, 3) terdapat pengaruh motivasi berprestasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 0,000<0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk yang layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Perangkat pembelajaran berbantuan alat musik sarone merupakan perangkat yang dikaitkan dengan media alat musik sarone. dan terdiri atas RPP, bahan ajar, LKPD dan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini meggunakan model 4D yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen berupa lembar validasi berbentuk penilaian dengan skala likert 1-4. Penilaian ini melibatkan 3 validator ahli pada bidang fisika dan 2 validator praktisi, yakni guru mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 1 Lembar. Hasil validitas produk menunjukkan persentase dan kategori sebagai berikut: RPP 89,02% (sangat valid); bahan ajar 87,88% (sangat valid); LKPD 91,92% (sangat valid); dan instrumen tes 90,06% (sangat valid) dan untuk nilai reliabilitasnya dengan rata-rata di atas 75%.
