Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to analyze the potential contribution of Islamic banking to development of Halal tourism and the enhancement of local community welfare in rural area.The present study employs a critical analytic approach based on extensive review and discussing the possible contribution of Islamic banking to development of Halal tourism and the local communities in rural area.As discussed in the paper there are some strategies for Islamic banking in the rural area. First, Islamic banking can establish special purpose vehicle to run the microfinance scheme in the rural area in order to minimize the potential risks. Second, some financing mechanisms also can be run by the Islamic banks both sources from internal and external resources, such as participatory model – musyarakah and mudharabah and third parties fund – zakah, infaq, sadaqah and waqf.Last, the branchless banking strategy is also proposed but with a certain intermediations should be firstly done by the Islamic banks, such as social and financial intermediation. Keywords Indonesia, Islamic Banking, Halal tourism, Local Welfare

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the compliance of MSME taxpayers with tax regulations in Indonesia. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study research design. The research was conducted in areas with a high concentration of MSMEs, which were selected purposively. Informants consisted of MSMEs who have registered as taxpayers, tax officers from the Tax Service Office (KPP), and tax consultants who handle MSMEs. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Meanwhile, data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that the level of MSME taxpayer compliance with tax regulations in Indonesia is influenced by their understanding, perception, and experience in carrying out tax obligations. Low tax literacy, administrative complexity, and a lack of trust in the government are the primary obstacles to achieving optimal compliance. However, an educational and personalized approach from the tax authorities is considered effective in building awareness and encouraging MSMEs to comply with tax obligations voluntarily.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tanggapan masyarakat mengenai kualitas jasa pelayanan Kelurahan Bandara Kota Samarinda. Untuk mengetahui harapan masyarakat mengenai jasa pelayanan E KTP di Kelurahan Bandara Kota Samarinda. Untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh kualitas jasa pelayanan Kelurahan Bandara Kota Samarinda terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dalam penerbitan surat rekomendasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisa Koefisien Korelasi Rank Spearman yang ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas jasa pelayanan Kelurahan Bandara Samarinda terhadap kepuasan masyarakat menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rs sebesar 0.742 (positif) dengan tingkat interprestasi koefisien korelasi. Sedangkan berdasarkan analisis uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan distribusi t, diperoleh hasil thitung > ttabel = 5.855 > 1.701, dengan demikian kita dapat menolak Ho dan menerima Ha, berarti kualitas pelayanan yang baik mempunyai hubungan positif dengan kepuasan konsumen. Dengan hasil koefisien determinasi sebesar 55.06%, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepuasan masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas jasa pelayanan sebesar 55.06%. Sedangkan sisanya yaitu sebesar 44.94% dipengaruhi oleh variabel-variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital telah mengubah pola hidup masyarakat, khususnya generasi Z, mahasiswa yang termasuk dalam generasi Z merupakan generasi yang bergantung pada perangkat digital untuk berbagai aktivitas termasuk berbelanja secara online. Shopee sebagai salah satu platfrom e-commerce terbesar diindonesia menjadi pilihan utama generasi Z dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi. Dari Fenomena ini muncul rumusan masalah yang ingin diketahui yaitu apakah gaya hidup berbasis digital dan perilaku konsumtif mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian mahasiswa Manajemen Keuangan Syariah pada marketplace shopee. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini bersumber dari data primer. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 63 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gaya hidup berbasis digital dan perilaku konsumtif secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa manajemen keuangan syariah dengan tingkat signifikansi < 0,05. Kemudian Secara simultan kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada shopee dengan nilai fhitung 23,387 > f tabel 3,15 dan nilai R square sebesar 43,8%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa gaya hidup berbasis digital dan perilaku konsumtif secara parsial maupun simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian mahasiswa manajemen keuangan syariah pada marketplace shopeee.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of physics learning in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era demands innovative pedagogical strategies to address students’ conceptual difficulties, particularly in abstract topics like static fluid. Misconceptions about hydrostatic pressure remain prevalent due to traditional, non-contextual instructional approaches. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of two cooperative learning models CoCoAER and Jigsaw in improving students’ conceptual understanding of static fluid and to examine students’ perceptions of both methods. A quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was applied to 90 eleventh-grade students at MAN 3 Banda Aceh, divided into CoCoAER, Jigsaw, and conventional lecture groups. Data were collected through pre-and post-tests and student response questionnaires. Results from ANOVA and N-Gain analysis indicated that the CoCoAER model significantly outperformed both the Jigsaw and lecture models (p < 0.05), with 73.3% of students showing high improvement and an average post-test score of 86. Students' satisfaction also favored CoCoAER, with 96% indicating a “very satisfied” rating, compared to 50% and 40% for Jigsaw and conventional methods, respectively. The novelty of this study lies in applying the CoCoAER model to fluid dynamics, integrating contextual learning, collaboration, and error anticipation strategies. In conclusion, the CoCoAER model offers a highly effective and student-centered approach to teaching static fluid, contributing to the reduction of misconceptions and enhancing physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on earnings management practices by considering antecedent variables, such as CSR Disclosure, CSR Performance, and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) ability. The research method used a quantitative approach with panel data from 2017 to 2022, involving non-financial companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The results of data analysis indicate that CSR Disclosure (CSRD), CSR Performance (KCSR), and CEO Ability (CSRA) influence earnings management practices. The classical assumption test validates normality, without multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity in the model. The coefficient of determination (R^2) is 4,3%, indicating that the three independent variables explain a small portion of the variation in earnings management. The F statistical test confirms the significance of the influence of independent variables on earnings management. The individual parameter test shows that CEO Ability (CSRA) has no significant influence, while CSR Performance (KCSR) and CSR Disclosure (CSRD) have a negative and significant influence on earnings management practices. In conclusion, earnings management practices are influenced by CSR Performance and CSR Disclosure, but not by CEO Ability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the mathemagic in the joyful learning method on the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students based on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The research design used a pre-experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest with a sample of 30 students of class VII G of SMPN 1 Situbondo. The Sample was selected by purposive sampling from a population of 155 students. The research instrument was a HOTS-based test with 10 essay questions that had been validated using Pearson's product-moment correlation and tested for reliability with Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the form of Pearson product-moment correlation, simple linear regression, and t-test. The results showed a very strong relationship between the mathemagic method and students' cognitive learning outcomes (R = 0.974). The relationship between the two variables is a causal relationship with a contribution of 94.8%. The t-test proves that the contribution of the influence is significant, with a t-count value = 22.707 > t-table = 1.701, and a sig.t value of 0.000 < 0.05. Abstract

Most construction and building industries maximize productivity through labor and equipment. This increase will impact the number of workplace accidents, particularly in construction activities. Generally, an increase in workplace accidents will lead to a decrease in productivity. The construction and building industry is characterized by long working hours, a stressful work environment, and the use of high-risk equipment, particularly at PT. Waskita Karya. One approach is to increase employee productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Program on Employee Productivity at PT. Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk, Sangatta. The analytical tool used was a quantitative method. Data analysis is the process of simplifying data into a form that is easier to read and interpret, or a method of processing data into information so that its characteristics are easily understood and useful for solving problems, especially those related to research. The results of the study, which examined the effect of occupational health and safety (K3) variables on employee productivity, revealed an R-square of 73.8%. This indicates that the company has provided facilities in the form of occupational health and safety (K3) for employees so that they feel safe working and can reduce the risk of work accidents and increase the comfort of the work environment so that employees feel protected while working. In addition, the results of the t-test that the t-count of 16.463 > t-table = 1.984 can be interpreted as health and safety at work have a significant effect on productivity.

Abstract

Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris pemandu lokal di Desa Minasa Baji melalui penggunaan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI). Melalui pendekatan pelatihan berbasis Modul pembelajaran, aplikasi Duolingo dan ChatGPT, anggota Karang Taruna dilatih untuk berkomunikasi secara efektif dalam bahasa Inggris. Pelatihan ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama: persiapan, pelatihan, dan evaluasi, yang dirancang untuk mengasah keterampilan dasar mendengarkan, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan bahasa Inggris peserta, dengan 57% dari mereka berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan dasar setelah program berlangsung. Penggunaan Duolingo dan ChatGPT terbukti efektif dalam memperkaya kosakata dan melatih kemampuan percakapan. Kontribusi pengabdian ini terhadap pendidikan adalah pemanfaatan teknologi untuk memberdayakan komunitas lokal dalam menghadapi tantangan global melalui pengembangan pariwisata edukatif.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the strategies used by parents in order to start and introduce English to their children who are young learners. English education is very important to be taught to young learners from an early age. Parents have an important responsibility towards their children's English education. Parents can start learning English for their children from an early age by applying various learning strategies. This research was conducted qualitatively by using research instruments in the form of interviews with 7 parents as a method of data collection. This study categorizes several strategies used by parents in the context of teaching their children English. The results showed that parents introduced their children to English in various ways, such as introducing vocabulary, using a vocabulary memorization system, using fun learning methods, and using learning media.
