Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of a teacher's personality on third-grade pupils at SMPN 3 Pallangga's motivation to learn English.. There were 127 students in the third grade and 25 were chosen as sample. The research method used was random sampling. The researcher employed a questionnaire to obtain the data using a non-test technique. Linear regression was the method of data analysis employed in this study, which was conducted using SPSS Version 23. The study's findings showed that the third grade pupils' motivation to learn English was fair (0.637), depending on the teacher's personality. It showed that the motivation of the pupils increased with the personality of the teacher. The likelihood is 0.004. This indicates that the hypothesis is plausible. As a result, it can be said that the personality of the teacher has a considerable impact on how motivated the third-grade pupils at SMPN 3 Pallangga are to learn English.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how the process enhancing students’ achievement by using Portofolio mobile Apps Portofolio based called Class Dojo to Junior High School Students worked. Research and Development method was applied by using three common steps in RnD; first step is the introduction where the researcher analyze the problems and collecting first data related to Self-Regulated Learning to the subject research; the next step is adjusting and develop the new model to the old learning process; and the last step is the evaluation process to assess the whole development applied in this research. It can be cocnluded that the development of learning aided by Class Dojo Application can improve students' self-regulated learning ability. There is an increase in student learning outcomes which means that it has met the specified success criteria. The increase has an impact on improving the quality of learning, in this case, learning resources increase with increasingly varied learning media, so that it can help teaching students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peluang pemekaran desa, khususnya di Desa Nampar Sepang Kecamatan Sampi Rampas Kabupaten Manggarai timur. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan, dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Sumber data berupa data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan pustaka. Pemekaran wilayah, baik tingkat provinsi, kabupaten/kota, maupun tingkat desa telah diakomodir dalam Undang-undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah. Daerah yang memenuhi persyaratan, baik pada level provinsi, kabupaten/kota maupun desa dapat memekarkan diri sepanjang memenuhi pelbagai persyaratan. Pemekaran Desa Nampar Sepang dimaksudkan untuk lebih mendekatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, yang secara geografis masih jauh dari jangkauan. Selain itu, upaya pemekaran diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Desa; Pemekaran; Undang-undang Pemerintahan Daerah

Abstract

Partipisasi masyarakat menjadi kunci suksesnya pelaksanaan program pemerintahan, penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menjawab bagaimana partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dana desa di Desa Bumi Pajo Kecamatan Donggo Kabupaten Bima. Pokok permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dan apa manfaat yang diperoleh dalam pengelolaan dana desa di Desa Bumi Pajo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan yuridis normatif, teologi syar’i, dan sosiologis. Sumber data berupa data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, salah satu bentuk partispasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dana desa adalah dengan turut serta dalam melakukan pengawasan pembangunan yang anggarannya bersumber dari dana desa, meskipun bentuk partipasi masih terbilang rendah yang dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap mekanisme dan arah kebijakan penggunaan dana desa. Dalam Islam, pelibatan masyarakat dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan telah dikenal sejak zaman Nabi Muhammad dan lebih dikembangkan lagi dimasa khulafaurrasidin, seperti pelibatan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan Baitul Mal dimasa khalifah Umar bin Khattab. Manfaat yang diperoleh masyarakat Desa Bumi Pajo dapat diklasifikasi kedalam tiga bidang, yaitu bidang pembangunan seperti perbaikan sarana dan prasarana, gedung PAUD/TK, Posyandu, dan jalan tani. Sementara dibidang pembinaan masyarakat seperti penyediaan sarana olah raga, sedangkan dibidang pemberdayaan masyarakat, Pemerintah Desa Bumi Pajo telah memprogramkan pengadaan bibit sapi untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup para peternak.Kata Kunci: Partisipasi Masyarakat; Pengawasan; Dana Desa, Siyasah Syar’iyyah

Abstract

A study was conducted on the treatment of palm oil liquid waste using activated bentonite through an adsorption method. Four variations of adsorbent treatments were employed: untreated bentonite (UBA), and chemically activated bentonite with 5%, 10%, and 15% H2SO4 (CAB-5, CAB-10, and CAB-15, respectively). The adsorption capacities (qe) for UBA, CAB-5, CAB-10, and CAB-15 were found to be 91.01, 97.01, 94.46, and 93.27 mg/g, respectively. The adsorption kinetics followed a first-order reaction model, with correlation coefficients (R2) of 0.70, 0.93, 0.98, and 0.94 for UBA, CAB-5, CAB-10, and CAB-15, respectively. Additionally, the fatty oil content of the treated waste, when adsorbed for 60 to 100 minutes, met the quality standard threshold, reducing it to below 25 mg/L. This study underscores the importance of addressing the waste produced by the palm oil industry and emphasizes the need for effective effluent treatment to protect the environment and ensure industry sustainability.

Abstract

The high price of beef and its processed products has led to many cases of adulteration with pork, resulting in issues related to halal food assurance. Therefore, it is crucial to conduct identification and analysis of the types of meat used in order to maintain food halalness. One of the methods currently advancing in the identification and analysis of meat types is Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). The aim of this study is to determine the capability of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) in identifying and analyzing various types of meat. The study results indicate that the Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) method is capable of identifying and analyzing meat types with simple sample preparation and accurate outcomes compared to other methods such as Real Time-PCR, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Electronic Nose System, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and Raman spectroscopy. The Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) method can be combined with various chemometric methods such as PCA, PLS, and MSC. Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) can identify and analyze various types of meat with an accuracy of up to 100% in shrimp and clams mixed sample. In conclusion, the combination of LIBS and chemometric methods demonstrates promising results in identifying and analyzing meat types.

Abstract

Polyurethane (PU) membranes were prepared from red seaweed (Gracilaria sp.), castor oil, Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI), and added benzoyl peroxide (BPO) additive to improve membrane performance. The membrane is applied for the adsorption of ammonia in the solution. FT-IR analysis showed the presence of functional group N = C = O at a wavenumber of 2276 cm-1 and the O-H functional group at a wave number of 3373.50 cm-1, indicating the urethane group's formation has been formed during membrane polymerization. SEM images showed the morphological structure of the PU membrane, where the more open structure of the PU membrane by the addition of BPO. The DSC and TGA results showed the membrane's thermal stability with the addition of BPO. The PU membrane has an optimum contact time for ammonia uptake of 40 minutes. The adsorption isotherm of ammonia by the PU membrane follows the Freundlich isotherm model. The adsorption capacity of the PU membrane with the addition of BPO additives was 13.2 mg/g, which shows that the adsorption capacity of the PU-BPO membrane has a better performance than a membrane without the addition of the BPO. The PU-BPO membrane could be used as an alternative method of ammonia removal.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the form of harmony and the efforts made by thecommunity to build harmony in Pasir Panjang Village, Mempawah TimurDistrict, Mempawah Regency. . The method used is a qualitative method withdescriptive analysis. The source of data in this study is the community ofPasir Panjang Village. and the data is the result of observation andsupported by the results of interviews with the people of Pasir PanjangVillage. The results showed that, (1) the form of harmony in the midst of thecovid-19 pandemic hoax in Pasir Panjang Village, Mempawah TimurDistrict, Mempawah Regency had been carried out well, as evidenced by thefact that residents in the village were always doing various activities such ascooking and gathering together during observations. and supported by theresults of interviews with the community. (2) the efforts made by thecommunity to build harmony in the social life of Pasir Panjang Village,Mempawah Timur District, Mempawah Regency have been well established,as evidenced by the discovery of a group of residents who are makingfriendships between residents, where the friendship is in order to establishgood relations between residents and to maintain community harmony at thetime of observation and supported by the results of interviews with thecommunity.Keywords: Harmony, Society, Covid-19

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan metode KQM di SD-IT Hafizul Ilmi, fungsionalisasi gaya belajar Visual Auditori Kinestetik (VAK) dalam metode KQM serta respon siswa dalam pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan penerapan metode tersebut yang berkaitan dengan efektifitas gaya belajarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif atau metode campuran (mixed methods) dengan desain penelitian sequential exploratory designs. Hasil penelitian: 1) Pembelajaran diawali dengan sistem  classical, guru mengalihkan konsentrasi siswa menjadi lebih fokus dengan ucapan MASTER, lalu dijawab secara serentak “menghafal Al-Qur’an semudah tersenyum”. Dilanjutkan muraja’ah hafalan sebelumnya kemudian memulai dengan hafalan baru. 2) Teknik talaqqi, mind mapping, anchoring dan positive thingking dalam metode KQM telah mewakilkan fungsionalisasi ketiga modalitas indera anak. 3) Respon siswa dalam pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an dengan penerapan metode tersebut yang berkaitan dengan efektifitas gaya belajarnya dapat dikatakan positif, karena metode KQM ini telah mengakomodir ketiga gaya belajar siswa yaitu Visual Auditori dan Kinestetik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi salah satu referensi pemilihan metode pembelajaran tahfidz yang memudahkan dan menyenangkan bagi anak.

Abstract

This research aims to find the level of student independence through the application of self-repairing. In the context of the learning process, it can be seen that there is a phenomenon of students who are less independent in learning and have bad habits in studying, such as: not feeling comfortable studying for a long time, studying only before exams, and so on. One of the learning processes towards independence is by helping students through self-reparenting. Self-repairing is a process of re-nurturing oneself, so that someone is able to make the choice to prioritize the positive and ignore the negative, so that they have a feeling of success and there will be change in the student. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. The measurement process on subjects was carried out at the stage before treatment (Pre-test) and after treatment (post-test) using a Likert scale as a data collection tool. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' independent learning character. This can be seen in table 5, it can be seen that the df value is 35 and the significant value is 0.000 < 0.05, meaning it is significant or accepted. Then in table 7, it is known that the df value is 29 and the significant value is 0.000 < 0.05, meaning it is significant or accepted. This shows that classical services with self-reparenting techniques can improve the independent learning character of students in Tarakan State High Schools and Middle Schools
